I love this phone! I busted this phone 2 years back (after serving me well for one year) and I just could not get the nerve to throw it away. Finally, i got it repaired (cost around 60USD, expensive for Philippine rate) and now I'm reunited with it. I love its style, shape, and the basic essentials it carries. I wish this phone was more saleable when it was on the market :)

After almost 5 years of torturing and falling to the ground for the 545456 time ,the display gave up on me today ;(! The side buttons were already missing from previous "accidents" and the phone practically fell apart. I just couldn't dump this beauty ! Even now there is not 1 phone that comes even close to the stylish design and solid feel of this masterpiece. I will not rest untill i have found an other E760 !!! R.I.P. !

I'm looking for a new phone now and doing very, *very* serious research but I can't find *any* flip phone as good as this... Why?! Is it so hard to create something new with the absolutely same design and features, only adding a flash? That's ALL I want from a phone but nooo - they have to make them totally different :( Everyone here's right - you can literally step on, sit on, throw and scratch this phone all you want - the rubber doesn't mind and just bounces back to its original state. When mine broke in 2, with the lid bearly holding, it's still working :) I've been using it 3 years now and I *still* can't fill up the memory! And that circle screen with the different styles of clocks? Everyone that sees them says they're classy and I can't help keeping this nearly broken precious thing...

I had this phone for 3 years and it's the best for me. I just had the flip locks repaired because it got broken due to my negligence. Didn't think twice of sending it to Samsung for repair because I plan to use it for a few more years.

got this phone in summer 2006. it's been great, and i loved it. however i dropped on the pavement like 2 weeks ago and now people cannot hear me on voice calls haha. it's a VERY durable phone, i've taken it everywhere with me and it even survived my nights in the clubs. and i've dropped it so many times. but i think that last fall damaged it, as the bottom right of the phone seems like i can probably open it in half and look at the insides. =o... ah well. might be on it's last legs. it's camera is OK. mp3 is alright although space in my opinion was too limited but it served it's job. might be going for samsung F110 or sony ericsson z555 next. good job samsung.

i had this phone a couple of years back. cool phone, excellent shape. but after a couple of months usage some of the sms got deleted automatically. the camera quality was okay the picture was usually blured. i think the company should have improved its camera. the motion sensor is coooool but guys i don't know why the company has stopped making motion sensor phones anymore

I got this phone on 30th May in 2006. Since then it has worked great. It fell many times on asphalt, stone and other surfaces, and I am really surprised thatit still works fine. I had a little accident with it in June this year. Somebody accidenetely put it in the sink and later it was flushed with water. Battery was dead, so I had to get a new one, but ever since, it's been working fine. I am very satisfied with this phone. And just love the movement sensor...

i've this phone for about 20 months. it's pretty good in a way that it's simple to use. but since it has reached it's last stage, her keypad works badly. but anyway, i love how they present their menu. when you punch in the numbers for dialing, those numbers have really cool display. i love that display. just so you know, it's camera is not very good and the memory space is so limited. i would suggest that you dont get this phone if there's other alternative like Lg ku990, which i am getting next year.

this is my everdearest fon.. i have sony ericsson k810i, this fon serves as my 2nd fon.. but i love it more than my sony.. its very easy to use.. very light, small and cute! i love it so much! too bad its now broken, i left it open while sleeping.. now i wanna buy the same unit, but sadly, they dont sell one anymore =/

(continuation of my previous posting). i believe it's the poor construction the caused the phone to get damaged easily.I went to Samsung's customer service to exercise the phone's warranty and see if i could demand a replacement but the technician told me that a unit with factory defects can only be replaced within seven days from purchase. after what i have gone through, I felt betrayed. i can't help but think that Samsung phones are made only to fool the eyes of their customers with their very refined yet deceitful designs. I'll never let myself be deceived again. Anyway, thanks Samsung for the terrible experience. I hope for your further success.

this phone is my greatest disappointment. i got this phone on November of last year. i admit i was very much fascinated when i first got hold of my phone because of its cool design and novel features but just about 3 months before my phone turns 1 yr old i freaked out when i noticed a crack at the phone's left hinge. i felt very anxious then. i was very careful flipping it open so as not to make the crack worse. every time i flip the phone, i got scared it might totally get damaged. i conditioned and prepared myself so i won't feel very much disappointed when the time i fear the most comes and just a week after i noticed the crack, the left hinge of the phone (where the crack was) got totally disconnected leaving the right hinged connected to the other part of the phone's body (i wish i could also post a picture here to show what my damaged phone exactly looks like). i look closely to the left hinge of the phone and i found out that it was not actually fastened by anything like a screw or whatever so it can have a tight connection to the other part of the phone's body. i found out that the left hinge was only supported by the fragile plastic that covers it. when the hinge got disconnected, i thought the phone would shut off but it stayed on so i concluded that all the electrical connections flow through the right hinge. so the phone still works but i can no longer bring the phone with me because i cant flip the phone

i had this phone.it has a good design...er ok outstanding look and the motion sensor is cool but pretty useless. but its inner memory has a bug : i had can go from 96 mo to 74 mo ... and that.s quite sad for such a cool phone.

Wanna know something about this phone which is not included in the manual? well here are some of the things I discovered... 1. You can zoom while viewing the photos taken by the phone's camera. push the side keys (volume) while viewing the photos. though it doesnt work on downloaded photos. 2. You can also use the side keys (volume)when browsing through the messages, pictures, videos, musics and sounds. it skips 3 files per push. (helpful when browsing through 100+ pics!) 3. You can also use the * and # button to browse though messages. (Open a message first then push * or # to go to the next message without having to push back) Well, I dont know if there are others and this works on the phone bought in the Philippines. I wish there was a way to change the default message tones... like using a file explorer or something... can anyone help?

To make downloaded photos occupy the entire screen (not just the center part of the screen)when set as wall paper, try editing the picture using photo editing software in your pc and changing the image size to 176x220 pixels, save it and download it to the phone. it was an old question but i think no one gave the answer so here it is...

hi! i have this kind of phone. To activate the camera when the phone is closed, you have to press the mbutton at the right don't release yet. The phone switches to Motion Recognition ready mode. While holding the key, move/shake the phone UP and then down. You should move fast. When the camera starts, release the key. Press the mbutton at the right to take a photo. jenue

hey ive had this phone for a while now! my only gripe is that i cannot seem to activate the camera when the phone is closed using the m button on the side! no matter how much i shake it up and down it never activates! can someone please tell me if you need to do anything before closing the phone to make this feature work? thanks, mark

i own this phone and it looks really nice.. has a combination of ruggedness and class.. but my main gripes with this phone is: 1. There is NO WAY to activate the camera for doing self-portraits from the menu. you HAVE the shake the phone in the correct way with the cover closed to activate the camera. 2. The motion sensing fuction doesn't really do much.. the games which require you to move the phone around result in you having to move your head too.. so you can see whats going on Picture quality isn't too bad, though the close-ups aren't good. No flash and auto-focus so it's not for those who like to take pictures. Non-expandable memory also. Overall, for those seeking a classy looking phone but willing to compromise on camera capabilites.

I know Cingular uses GSM 850 and 1900, but the dealer warns regular Cingular uses 850 signal and may not get a signal if one is on a Cingular subcriber. hi basil...yes the canera works externally. you just have to press and hold the button on the right side...then take pictures as much as u can as it automatically saves. this is my first clamshell phone and im really impressed with the design and features. i suggest if you're looking for an affordable with quality phone...you should have this. great phone!!!

Just got this phone and it's excellent. The pictures from the 1.3 megapixel camera are much more clear than pictures from other phones with the same camera. And with a free bluetooth printer, its all good.

So i buyed this phone about 6 months, month ago phone started to blocking and turning off. I gave it back to store so they fix it as it have quaranty card. Now month ago i still wait for it they sad that mainboard died and that they wait for new one. Anyone have similar problem. Design is perfect but everything else is bad. Mp3 quality low as it dont have equalizer so beats are bad. Camera to dark and low colors. Motion detector almost never used, but it is cool and drains batery. Batery life is poor. I also have Sony Ericsson k700i and it's cheaper and a lot beter phone. Realy big disapointment in samsung :(

i think that samsung sgh E760 is the wonderful mobile i've ever seen, everything in this mobile is good and will satisfy everybody's needs, first the design is smart and attract anybody's attention especially the silver colour and the round external screen, without forget the quality of the display in the internal screen (samsung 1st mobile screen maker in term of quality) also this mobile has the biggest memory space that any other clamshell phone can't have without a card slot (92 Mbites), the quality of sound is pure with no noise because there is two stereo loudspeakers behind, furthermore, other function are so interesting: 1.3 Mpixels camera, mp3,video,bluetooth.....etc the only thing which samsung had forgotten to make the phone perfect is a built in Radio any way it is perfect and perfect i adore it and i advice anybody who is interested in samsung mobile to try this phone which will take you to the world of imagiation

I juz bought this phone E760, it is a pretty good phone except for some flaws...e.g the pics taken by the camera appears to be dull n dark in colour, would have been better if there was a flashlight installed. Another thing is that this phone cannot do other things while the mp3 player is on. If this phone hav a expandable memory card slot, it would hav been great, but too bad it only has a built in memory of 92mb...

dammit, i like this phone. i've bought it 3 days ago and i'm really satisfied except 3 things, but they ain't that important. i can't find that compass function(nevermind), but, what is more important, i don't know, how to make the phone ring and vibrate at the same time by an incoming call. the last thing is, i don't know, how to make the phone store the incoming SMS automatically into the phone memory instead into the SIMcard. does anyone know, how to solve these? by the way, the design rox:)

Can you really not get internet with an unlocked phone? I just bought the e760 on e-bay and cingular says they won't guarentee that anything will work since I didn't buy it from them. Does anyone know how I get it to work (changing settings or whatever)? I can't even get the GPRS icon and it sucks. Otherwise, awesome phone though!

u can send video through e-mail, bluetooth or as mms. careful though- if u have cingular, internet won't work with an unlocked version of this phone.

I just bought this phone and I think this is the sexiest looking phone ever made. The features are great and the motion snesor technology is really novel. Only if they could have put in FM radio in it and a flash ! The specifications claim a great battery life but I am having to charge the cell every night. Am a bit upset over that. But otherwise, a great cell, great looks and some state of the art features.

Can anybody tell me if it is possible to run the mp3 player in the background while doing other operations(like writing a message or viewing pictures)?

Huh, it's better to use infrared port if it's available, per time u using Bluetooth i can easily connect to your phone, taking off your numbers, adresses and SMS's just sitting near your house or in neighborhood room. There is not really big need in BT

To transfer music, use the USB cord that comes with it, install program using the CD and then wen u open up ur files on the program u can upload/download betwen ur PC and mobile. This fone can play mp3s as ringtone

The external of the phone is ugly. Maybe the spec is what balances it out? Spec similar to E720. Not bad just ugly

I have this phone, it's really cool. Good design and specifications. And I don't miss the Infrared port. Only one thing isn't right. It says to move up for the camera, but it is move down.

I love this phone so much, its just a shame it doesnt have a memory card which makes printing out your ace photo s so much easier
