Why is it that mostly all the SAMSUNG phones have the same problem but, I will be only asking about the samsung E830. Why does my phone (E830) always say limited service and it has a problem with charging, it even has gotten to that point that i can not use my original charger or any other charger that charges with m phone. I want to know is this SAMSUNGs weakness because this is not the only SAMSUNG phone with this problem.

I have this phone right now and although it looks good, the problem is with the audio. I agree that it's not loud enough. Also, I have a problem with the battery life. I usually use the sms feature a lot and it drains the life out of my battery in practically 3 hours I guess. So sad..

Samsung are the best looking phones and this model and the U-700 prove that!! The E-830 looks best in gold/black. I had a X-690 and it lasted me a year before it was stolen from me!! That Ksh 10,000 phone has a better camera that my current Ksh 15,000 phone of another model and a longer battery life!!

Once again samsung has hugely proven dat its unreliable. 1st i had da D600 which decided 2 die on me afta 7months of use. Then i had da D900 for 5months then da charger/earphones port decided not 2 work anymore. And now i had da E830 which afta jus 4months of usage da camera started givin me problems. It was filled wit this purple colour in it. A month later da camera died. 3months later da screen died and now da screen doesnt switch on, even wen da phone is on. Can u jus imagine? I havnt used a samsung phone for more dan 9months, not cause i dnt want to, but cause they always failed me. Am neva gon buy a samsung phone again. Think its tym i went back to da brand dats always been there for me, sony ericsson.

i just bought this phone 4 days ago i don't know were the files go to once bluetoothd...my website and browser stuff is not set up properly...tried to contact vodofone they can't help because the phone is not in the data base apparently...vodafone can't help now i have go into a samsung store to get them set every thing back up...it would be more helpful if every thing was set up on the phone and listed in vodafones data base...

Finally, A sparkling gold phone in my hands =) I really like iT!!! Im impressed with the camera even though it doesnt have a flash it can still handle low lighting conditions unlike nokia. Tried and tested everyone! The only thing that bothered me is the small structure of the phone that made it difficult for me to text (3,6,9,#) to think I have small hands plus please Samsung dont put the camera button on the lower right side where it gets squeezed when I text therefore the letters doesnt kick in since its simultaneously doing a function. Camera button is not much help since if I take a picture landscape mode the mode has no editing feature to flip it clock wise or what have you. In summary, nice work samsung! not bad at all :)

This phone has been awesome so far. Very nice looking, easy to use, etc. Two problems that I came across. 1) I don't know how to get the WAP working..it always says network is unavailable. 2) I can't seem to get any games on here via USB(obviously downloading them is out of the question..) Any suggestions? Other than that the phone is pretty much perfect. The sound quality is very good...with the stock headset the sound is pretty much on par with my ipod.

I bought this so called high profile phone and I am being disheartened day after day as I am using it. Its cheaper fabrication as well as worse performance making me worried day by day. The only good feature of this phone its slim & sliding outer shape & design. The 2 MP camera with no autofocus gives average quality picture whereas sony ericsson W810i 2 MP camera gives superb picture. This phone makes video of maximum size 176 X 144 pixels just appears to be joking by producing MP4 format vidio files, minimum of which normally remains at 352 X 288 (CIF). Moreover, this recorded MP4 video on this phone cannot be played on Quick Time player or windows media player of any version. There is not even a single LED flash nor night mode option for the camera. The photo or video cannot be saved directly on the memory card, first, saves to phone memory and then need to move manually on to memory card. The FM radio attached is just a old mono type, no stereo function or RDS available. Bluetooth cannot communicate with any other standard bluetooth devices. All these features has been provided simply to cheat & misguide the customers.

Attention: Don't buy from e-buy-global.com ! It's strange that they got mobile phones 70% cheaper, e.g. 8600 Luna - $150. It's that odd, that it doesn't even cover production expenses... So, my advice: don't even write to them. They aren't really from Italy! Their host is somewhere in Israel! It might aswell be some kid playing around behind his PC, and getting his money off our backs. When I asked for their company's registration number, business rate, or something like that, the director replied to me they haven't got it for anybody. Hi, Yes it does ring and vibrate at the same time. And yes you can use the cable to connect to your PC (via the USB) and then swop pics, etc between your cell and your PC.

To george you deativate it by going into call settings and cancel all call diverting services. That way it will just ring out till you answer and wont have to run for ya phone. cheers

Hey everybody whos got a e830, its fab hei! One thing that wasnt so gr8 is da mp3 sound, soft! I used this code to make it gr8. *#8999*8378# (in idle mode) and then u go 2 hardware version, and goto audio, u then go to mp3, u will c its automatically as 10. Just change it to 11. I tried 12, but then the muzic is to hard 4 da speaker. Its really gr8. It really workz. And da music is still good. Ive got a 1gb mmc in, and its a very good phone, nice big screen. Cheerz matez

Hi Brian The problem with the phone answering when you take it out of your pouch is that the slider mechanism is operated by magnets and you have your phone set to answer when you open the slider. the problem is that the closing fasteners on your belt pouch also work with megnets therefore answering your phone when you move it. I removed the magnets from my pouch and problem solved..

I have had this phone for a while and I have two major problems. I live in the US and am on a GSM network (AT&T). I get horrible reception. Is anyone else experiencing the saem. I never had a problem when I had my motorola. Next when I pull the phone out of my phone case I can't answer the phone because it rejects the phone call. Any thought or comments? I like the phone but it is giving me a headache!

I just got this phone, Samsung e830 and I just love it. It suits my needs in every way. I was able to download a few songs on the phone, now I have to figure out how to put some more songs on the phone using the memory card. Try ebay if you want one.
