It's a crap. I bought since it's weight was low. Soon realised that it heats up and battery drained so fast. Camera gives a false images; misshappenig the sizes. Not recoomend.

Enable developer options by going to settings > about>software information and tap fast repeatedly on build number and developer options will be enabled in settings at the bottom. Go to developer settings and under Network category you will see USB configuration.check for the selected option,If it is set as charge this phone, you may need to change it to MTP (Media Transfer Protocol).And connect your phone again and it should work fine If it doesn't work for you ,use the official wire given to you or use the c type usb cable

I've been using C5 for like 4-5 months now. Gotta say there are better optioms out there for reduced prices. The phone heats up too much. Battery typically lasts for 1 1/2 - 2 hours, 2 1/2 if lucky under use. I've not yet had any hang or other issues. But Android 7 still? Seriously? I used a Honor 8 Lite before this, the only problem with that was the space was low. I'm planning on switching to Poco or Redmi Note 5 now. Suggest me any good phones for lesser or about 25K.

i have same device i have bought since last couple of week it's very decent and awesome , kindly go in setting and notification and disable all those notification which you're not using during usage of device, and second enable power saving mode it would be increased your battery backup, slightly heating is not a issue, when you usage 4g data on any device the device must be heat up. if you want to check your batter backup properly than you play any video on high resolution after download on your device, after playing video the 1% must be decreased after 4:30 minute.

After the update I have few issues to air that's charging system decline to work with its original charger thought not completely at times it can charge but most of time it cannot even after purchasing another charger.when charging a newly downloaded theme its display gets affected that's looking its few functionality like icon format restore to original system format

I have two Galaxy C5. One for me and one for my wife. I bought them in november 2016 and yesterday I updated both to Android 7.0. With my C5 I had no problem whatsoever. My wife`s instead, before update to 7.0, was randomly restarting. It could stay up 2 weeks or more and then restart a few times when doing nothing. I suspect some battery problem. I`m curious now after update if the symptoms remain. We like the phone very much. Camera is not so good in low light and if you`re hand are not so stable when capturing image. Too bad that the battery cannot be changed.... Bad marketing strategy for buyers....

Yes phone heat up while charging and heavy usage but that is normal actually it is because of metallic body which dissipates heat instantly also it is super slim there is nothing between back panel and chipset. But it is something good in my opinion, the phone gets cool instantly also you'll come to know instantly that something is eating up my cpu.

I just switched from Galaxy J5 to C5 both has 2600mah battery but C5 battery performance is superior as it will give u 1.5 days easily. Also it's quick charging so charging it for 30 minutes will do a lot in light usage it'll deliver 10 hours without any issue. You can optimise the battery performance of samsung amoled phones by using appropriate theme such as black which'll give you more battery timing

Doesn't worth it, I had an A5 and was awesome. This C5 freezes sometimes even with a higher hardware. The camera software is a lot different and has fewer options. The battery is awful, doesn't stand for a day, sometimes I have to recharge 2 times a day. I wish my A5 back... What a shame... The touchwiz is different too, it's missing a lot of configs that are available at the A5. Also, sometimes the 2 sims get offline, I think it's a bug because I only get signal again after a phone reset. My advice is to don't waste your money on this phone. The A5 is cheaper, don't freezes, 1 charge is enough for a day and I never experienced any bugs.

The only thing i will miss from the LG G4 is the camera though, but apart from that the LG has been quite a disaster. Hope this one won't give me a headache like the previous one did. I read a lot comments according to disconnecting network issues. I am using this Phone from last couple of days and i haven't found anything like that while using the phone. For all those who got disconnecting from network i would suggest that you set your network setting as only 3G or 4G if you select it as auto then you might get that network issue. C5 vs Asus zenfone 3 5'2 to buy They have same price at least in my place.So from what i can see,both phones got same camera pixels,but Asus has 5x more mods in it's camera,IOS,laser detection but high apperature (2.0),also can shoot 4k.After some camera reviews it can see Asus has better back but weaker front camera.Also it has SD 625 which is highly battery efficient and has a bit bigger battery (2800).Asus also has IR blaster but lacks NFC.And lacks quick charge.So should i buy Samsung for it's brand or go for Asus which i'll get a better and newer SD,4k,bit better battery and some decent features ? I am using this for internet, emails, calls, whatsapp, bbm and other social hub thing. no slow down at all but I cannot say much for games as I never tried playing on it. but looks specially the color gold, which I am using now is really very good. it is super slim, no random heating. be sure to check the baseband version is C5000ZHU1APG1, this is the most stable os for this mobile as of now.

finger scanner is a tad slow and sometimes failed to recognize my print. earpiece is not that clear, sound is not that crispy, sometimes it is hard to understand what the caller is saying. ambient light sensor has this delay. if you are into calls, I suggest to you to avoid this one.
