Samsung Galaxy Nexus i515 - User Reviews

  • Its useless since am in kenya and cant access any network no comm at all very dissapointing alot!!!

  • whats the point of saling the phone when it was only made to be used by those in America.it dose not make sense most of the countrys use GSM NETWORKS and it dose not support that. why putting it on the maket.

  • You will never get GSM on the i515, it is CDMA only. The SIM card is ONLY used for LTE functions.

  • I am also in this problem plz help me I want gsm network on my sch-i515

  • I m also in this trouble help me

  • Be sure you sim card is in the upright position, It can be deceiving which way it goes in and mine doesn't work if the sim is pushed all of the way in, The cut corner of the sim should be at the top left and centered. When it's in properly it will automatically detect your carrier and instal the necessary APN

  • It probably gets better reception. I love my sch-i515, just use it on WiFi with Dingtone free phone service. I keep a second charged battery with me and am good to go. Tilla

  • i have sim in mobil but its not work. error is ..... mobil network is not available. how can i fiks it?

  • Battery life is poor

  • They also have a 16gb version, not just 32gb as listed in specs. I got a used one today for $35 on craigslist that I hope to use with pageplus and perhaps update to android lollipop.

  • wanna pull my galexy nexus

  • good

  • this smartphone is not good because it phone is high price but features low

  • The question is whether your phone is the i515 or the i9250. If it's the latter, then you should be good to get service on one of the GSM carriers, whereas the i515 doesn't work for GSM, only CDMA. If it is the i9250 and it's still not working with GSM, there may be something physically wrong with the phone internally.

  • am in Nigeria .....my galaxy nexus doesn't get network ....what can i do about this...

  • First phone with Ice Cream Sandwich, it updates to Android Version 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) if it has not been rooted. The factory images for all Android versions for this phone are available from Google.

  • Yes, it does, requires SIM from Verizon - free from Verizon Wireless directly, a fee if from a Verizon reseller.

  • I dropped mine in pooh. It still works!!

  • Actually you can get a legit for real extended battery with a new back cover for $25 with free shipping on Amazon! Same exact thing Verizon sells, NEVER BUY from your provider its a rip off!! They don't warranty anything like amazon, unless you pay!

  • no....normal sim only...

  • yes it does

  • Hi, the descrbtion says that its mini-sim, can any one using this already confirm if it has a sim slot for a mini sim?

  • i am using it for 1 month... Bt i m facing a problem. It get hot if i use it 30 minutes continuously... Is it any problem???

  • sounds like gsm. i9250

  • i like it

  • just bought my verizon galaxy nexus off of ebay from gazelle for $160. the battery life was ok, but i went to verizon website and bought the extended battery for $36 cause it was 25% off. I could of bought one off of ebay for alot less but i wanted a legit one. its only slightly more capacity 2100mah vs. 1850. it also came with a new battery cover because the battery is just slightly bigger, maybe adds 1mm thickness and thats just to the bottom of the cover. i get about 15% more life from the extended battery. overall the phones functions are speedy and smooth. only issue i have is the signal. i'm not having dropped signals or phone calls like many people have, just weak signals compared to my other phones. overall i think $160 was well worth it especially since i didnt have to lose my unlimited verizon data plan

  • Just bought second hand galaxy nexus with sd card slot? Is this original galaxy nexus? The shop says this is oversea model! Can anyone confirm?

  • so what is the problem ? you have 32/ 16 gb internal memory and you have usb on uhe go.......

  • Gsm Arena must Update the Information Regarding to the Android Version...Verizon Already Upgrade it to v4.1 and i already Receive the Upgrade from Verizon...Update can be Receive from Verizon As Long As Your Phone Is Not Rooted!!! So keep that in Mind...

  • No memory card expansion??? That's crazy. I returned the phone to provider.

  • hi i am not able to configure the evdo & 1x on this galaxy nexus ... can anyone tell step by step how to configure it ..thnx in advance

  • dude they have clearly given dats 450 euros n if u dont know conversions then ur fault buddy!!

  • cant you people give the rate of the phone"s along the features

  • this is a very nice cellphone . but i would like to get one and at the same time id like to knowing if this cell phone will retail its price.

  • You can download an app like open office which allows for ms word editing. I personally use google drive. I can create and edit all documents in my drive folder and is synced with google.

  • buy this phone what is caost this phone

  • Can anyone plz tell me that, can i read & edit ms word, excel, power point document with this phone? I found its specifications that its only document viewer.....i am going to buy this phone plz suggest me or if u find any prblm using this phone plz clear me....plz plz plz

  • My son wants one for his birthday, and can't be talked out of it. He is going on 15. When the kids really want something, it is generally a winner. I think this one is too.

  • i've been getting horrendous battery life with this phone (no longer than 4-5 hours per day on original battery). Used this now and will last me over a day and a bit.

  • By far the worst design for battery life. The battery that comes with it is 1850mAh, if the bightness is set to half, the battery will die in 3-5 hours depending if you use the Internet or phone. With auto brightness, it's hard to see or appreciate the nice screen. Get the 3800mAh one offered!

  • i am using samsungs extended battery and it lasts a day

  • battery is not that good compared to iphone. but the rest is perfect! best phone made yet.

  • how's the battery life on this? anyone get more than 5 hours on this battery from normal use? Been told by friends that battery is horrible on this device

  • Understood. No really, I understand you.

  • The vibration is very weak and I've missed several calls

  • when are they going to release s3? i'm waiting too

  • Better phone from apple ipad2 i had bought apple ipad2 3+ months pls anyone dont buy any product bcz ios is not better than android os

  • id rather wait for s3.

  • With all specification It is better but there is great shortcoming that is Card Slot which is very essential for memory expand and data transfer. Only for this reason I can't take it. Now I will have to wait for Galaxy HD LTE which has all things.

  • Have started to hate E72, been using it for 18+ months now and with the updates the phone email just not getting updated. Earlier it was the HTML issue, took it to Nokia care and got that resolved (btw, they wiped out all the data and phone was in Factory mode) had backed up all the data. Now am not getting any emails!!! Nokia I have been a loyal customer for 10+ years but guess time has come to make the switch. E72 has given me the max problems so far.

  • Razr is really the thinnest and winner. IMPOSSIBLY thin Droid Razr LTE at 7.1mm it's a miracle because the Razr the GSM version is at 7.1mm as well. HERE Samsung made the Nexus LTE... Verizon's Galaxy Nexus revealed to be unsurprisingly thicker than its GSM counterpart Google this morning has outed the tech specs on the LTE (aka Verizon's) version of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus . Surprise, surprise, it's a tad thicker, as LTE devices are prone to be. How much thicker? According to the new specs, Verizon's LTE version (that's the one you see at right above) is a portly 9.47 mm, while the GSM version (seen here at left) is 8.94 mm thick. By our math, that's 1.3 mm thicker if you opt for the Verizon version here in the states (and it's still looking like that'll be the only domestic version for a little while). By comparison, the new HTC Rezound is about 13.7 mm thick, the Droid Bionic is about 10.16 mm, and the Droid RAZR is 7.1 mm at its thinnest point. Droid Razr LTE 7.1mm vs Galaxy Nexus 9.47mm MotoGoogle Razr IMPOSSIBLY thin is a real RAZOR

  • are you telling me you are going to carrying a HDTV wherever you go?

  • This is a CDMA phone will not work on GSM so not benificaial at all for GSM users

  • it's good. please update price of all kind of handset

  • is it's price 289$, really? Ive just read it & i cant believe it.

  • HDMI port is so 2009. Newer phones have MHL micro USB port which supports HDMI.

  • Its got HDMI/TV out through the micro USB port. Please do some research.

  • Just going to put it out there, the inclusion of the DLNA standard makes the lack of video out inconsequential...

  • no tv out no Hdmi and supported most of video formats for what

  • One is CDMA band and the other is GSM.

  • the frequencies

  • What's the difference between this and nexus simple
