I had similar issue and sent to samsung for checking. I do not exactly remember which part is damaged but it has something to do with the cip in the phone. I was charged about RM600 for it but they did ask me to proceed or not before doing it. It works fine after that.

for battery saving. y'all need disable / uninstall all runnning apps on task manager. Also check your microsd card draining battery life or not. if battery still draining fast : dial *#0228# battery will reset, then charge until full (4.3volt) . without remove charger dail *#0228# again to set 100% (4.3volt). then close quick menu & remove charger. if you remove charger without exit quick menu, battery indicator will stuck at 91-96%. If not working. just buy new battery. i recommended buy Samsung NX mini battery more durable. Patona brand (made in Germany)

I've been using this phone for more than a year and half and I'm a little bit disappointed. Battery life has dropped to the point where if I use the camera a little bit (10-20 pictures, 1-3 videos) the battery dies before the evening. This phone is really bulky and although I was prepared for that, it really is uncomfortable on the long run, also, my jeans now have a distinctive round mark where the lens was. It really lacks some punch in the CPU: I have bought a bluetooth handset I it's almost unusable if any other app appart from the music app is opened (The sound is deteriorated because bluetooth compression can't keep up). The OS is locked in Android 4.2.2 and as it's NOT a standard S4, you can't upgrade with CyanogenMod. When using the camera with any other app than the pre-installed, dedicated samsung camera app, you will experience some bug because no other app can use the zoom ring. I'm looking for an other smartphone and this one will serve more as a smart compact camera.

I thought this was a great phone until recently the camera started zooming out whilst in standby mode. Later it stopped and the zoom motoring begins a very annoying and cranking sound. In an attempt to use the camera app, it says my camera is unable to zoom and I can't use it. It didn't fall neither did I do an update. Bought at the beginning of 2014. After that long time I can say a lot about this phone. Well, the only good working thing in this phone is a camera. Decent images, for this form factor and class of camera the quality is satisfactory. Even somewhat above average I'd say. Sometimes happens that for no reason the phone attempts to open and close the lens and since I have a special case with a lens cap it may cause a damage. Fortunately it did not damage so far. But what I am upset with is that terrible Android OS. Especially after upgrade to KitKat the phone continuously unloads some system crucial modules. It frequently tends to hang up. The phone for no reason may restart or even shutdown. Often has problems with WiFi connectivity, especially in mobile hot spot mode. The OS does the jobs without my permissions. I am used to the OS which lets me work, runs seamlessly and steps in when needed. Android seems to be smarter than me and know better what do I need and what do I want to run. As a result I feel like it prevents my work with the phone, asking thousands questions before I can start. Then I just resign and let the phone lay on the table until discharged. Good device, great hardware, but awful OS. Oh, I wish the old good Symbian would be back.

Have this phone for 6 rmonths the camera is just awesome ! The controls are just great ! You can manually focus like the 1020 ( half press the shutter button and twist the ring) you can control the aperature ! And if the colors are washed out you can adjust the image by increasing the saturation , problem fixed! the 10x zoom will make you stick to your phone and you will not switch to another phone cz no phone other than the k zoom has this feature which is Wonderful Dust can get into the lens but they dont appear In the image only in some some and i repeat some situations Same thing goes for scratches . Just place your phone on its display not on the lens and Problem is solved And yeah it's uncomfortable in the pocket , you should get used to that but it doesnt bother me

I've had this phone for only a year and a half and every since I've purchased it (for about five hundred dollars ($500) by the way) it has been having issues with the touch screen and with the buttons being they would not work. In addition, the phone would freeze out of nowhere. The camera would be problematic as well after a while because it would have trouble focusing. My phone would also lose battery quickly and it would randomly shut off even with a lot of battery life left. Then one day out of the blue it just shut off and i haven't been able to turn it on since. I have tried just about everything to fix it and i even went to the phone company technicians and they said that it was done and the phone could not be fixed or saved in anyway. Since they discontinued the model i was not able to receive a new device which upset me. As a fellow customer, I advise anyone who is considering purchasing this phone, please reconsider and try purchasing a different phone because from personal experience, if I had the chance to go back having the information about this phone that i have now, I would not waste all that money on a now apparent prototype.

This phone is basically not up to the job. It takes lovely pictures but I've had three in 6 months and last one only lasted 6 weeks. One of two things happen (or both) - the lens gets so much dust inside that pictures are no longer sharp or the zoom mechanism breaks and the camera no longer works. It seems to me that the camera zoom assembly is fine if you keep it in a dust-proof box or camera bag but in your pocket it won't survive very long before it breaks. As a phone has to 'live' in people's pockets, I feel that Samsung have not made a product which is up to the job for which it was designed. A shame as it's otherwise a good product and takes very nice photos... I fear the K Zoom is much the same but I'm going to try one without much hope that it'll be any good and in the knowledge it will probably last three months at most unless I wrap it in a cloth when in my pocket. At least they're quite cheap... As an aside don't put Skype on to this phone. Each time it connects to a new network it will extend and retract the lens and if it's in your pocket this quickly breaks the zoom assembly, even faster than the phone will break itself anyway.

Samsung aren't 1/2 a crappy firm to deal with, what a shame, they have a bloody good camera phone yet their customer services are crap, they 1st of all tell me my battery wasn't any good, now they are saying I didn't send it with my phone, they just have no idea what they are talking about, by the time I have finished with them they will never forget a battery again as I am about to go to the small claims court & do them Supply of Goods & Services Act 1982 (As amended). You obviously aren't awear of UK's servicing laws.

I have a Samsung Galaxy 4 Zoom, It's been back twice now, 1st time was to Carfonewarehouse, who said "Lost Pixels" not covered by warrenty. I found I had dust in the lens, this happened within a week of it being returned to me. I sent it back to Samsung, who fixed the dust problem (I hope) but they returned my phone without the battery. No notes to explain why there wasn't a battery in it. 3 Weeks later I phoned up & they said my battery was faulty. No explanation in the return letter, I think they lost it. I have just contacted Samsung for a 3rd time, the two times before I was told "some 1 will contact you within 48 hours" No 1 ever tried to contact me.

I have just got hold on thia device and belive me its not that bad as seen in ratings. There is one update I want to make that there are two light sources on body-one is xenon flash and another is that red light source _a round one_next to xenon flash. Now download app Super-bright led flashlight to use this red light as flash. Earlier I didn't knew this but now I know that of all the flashlight apps this is the only one that gives continuous light, though red but still something is better than nothing.

simply because Xenon flash is a bright light consumes lot of resource and the worst is gets heated like a electric bulb, keep it on for too long and it will get damaged. But if you r looking for extra light i mean video light then look for external sorces and hold them in one hand and your S4zoom in another. U should know while buying such products that it doesn't have video light support.

This is the best phone i've used till now. The camera is awesome. I don't have to bring my camera along with me as i have my s4 zoom. Long battery life, but only 8gb internal memory is quite weird because of the good quality pictures demand even a 16 gb internal memory. 1.5 gb ram is good. Overall, the phone is awesome along with the price.

I bought an S4 in December and used it and sold it in March. I got an S4 Zoom 2 days ago and believe it or not this phone is faster and wayyy smoother than the S4. The normal S4 kept lagging and taking its time to access menus and clicks. It was a bit faster in processing some apps that take time to load and faster in HDR and night time processing, yet the S4 Zoom is equally fast in everything else. I am scared though of getting the bugs that some people are talking about, such as a stuck camera, random shutting down or restarts. So far the only issue is in Program mode where Focus Area Multi AF doesn't get saved when I switch to Auto mode or another mode. It reverts back to Center AF, which is annoying. Hopefully no other issues will arise.

I compared picture quality of S4 Zoom with Nikon L610. Nikon L610 photos were much better in low light situations and slightly better during day. Both have same 2.3" sensor. Maybe it is Samsung photo processiing software that causes photos to look inferior on S4 Zoom. However if you are looking for camera ith phone capability, then this is your camera (that is aviod carrying two devices)!!

In Case of images any Samsung is no match to nokia devices as 1020 or 808.I have checked N8 with my Brother's galaxy S4,even with 1 MP less the Carl Zeiss lens makes the difference to images & was visible when 100% zoomed both on my PC ,in terms of noise. I did a huge mistake to buy this phone. I fell for optical zoom but camera doesn't produce accurate colors, video recording in low light is very bad, the cracking sound of lens gets captured whenever recording a video and zooming, optical image stabilization doesn't work as good as marketed, sound is very quiet, battery backup is horrible and the camera phone is very bulky to carry around and sometimes a bit slow. Other than that, no problem.

I really don't give care what the fanboy gonna say about Nokia or Samsung etc. But merely to share my opinion about this phone here. Regardless of the specs of this phone, it has been very amazing in term of no lag or sudden app closed, in fact I think never before), great battery life, I am not a hardcore phone user but to check mails, social media, listening to music and taking pictures, it can easily last for more than 1 day. I personally think that the design is cool, and the camera is amazing, not only handy but captures good image. Besides that, the sound is loud and clear. In short, I'm lovin it :)

If you are an avid photographer, or a keen amateur, and like the idea of having a good camera attached to your phone... then don't go for this phone. The zoom is a gimmick attached to a poor camera sensor. Search online for 'Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom photo samples' you'll find plenty of large images that are incredibly grainy and interpolated to the nth degree. I looked at the picture and thought, yeah... I can put up with the hand grip and bulk of the additional lens. But nothing makes up for the shoddy censor, it went back and I'll wait for something better that doesn't use Windows Mobile!

Lumia 1020 price is crashing down quickly reason being one million limitations of windows 8 software. A very few will spend so much for a pride of having a great camera in a smartphone which is dumb by todays standards. Look at Lumia 920. Don't forget S4 zoom has 10X optical zoom and Android 4.2.2 OS which is much better than Windows 8 OS. I have not seen a Samsung Android phone being slashed in price by almost half. The handset is seriously not ergonomic and it's not recommended to be used without a headset, bluetooth or wired. But still, it's the best option if you want to have a proper Android cameraphone. I'd suggest using it with an FM-enabled Bluetooth, a case covering the lens (a case trying to pose as a Smart Cover was found on eBay) and a wrist strap (probably out of an older digicam). At least, that's what I intend to do

Hi there, I will say there is absolutely no point in getting your blood boiling over different ANDROID devices; from the SAME manufacturer by the way because an android is an android, the only difference I believe will be in the layout and feel from one manufacturer to another and that's it!!! So just decide on what you want from a Samsung Phone and go get it!!!!

Having high pixels is all good if you're blowing the image up, however if you want the best image possible you would go for the better lens. So if you dont mind the bulky lens I bet this will take much better photos.

Galaxy series are still the best BUT for this S4 zoom, its too bulky. When zooming and record, the zooming action sound would also be recorded. It should only happened to faulty video camera. Its a failure and had tarnished the galaxy reputation.

Mimi, so you enjoy having this device and all its features? I am only interested in one thing by the way. How do you rate the picture quality in natural light, artificial light and in the dark? I have owned a number of devices and I must say, none of those have had better cameras than the Nokia N8 under all lighting conditions. That 12MP camera surely is somthing else. I just don't want to get this and find that the picture quality is crap. And i'm just saying. Just wanna get your opinion as one poster says the picture quality isn't that good and red turns out to be another colour. I kinda think that Android isn't developed to handle cameras very well as I have never seen an android device which takes gr8 pictures. So disappointing for a well rated OS.

Hi I wanted to talk to someone who has had some actual use of this camera phone. I am thinking about getting one as I am constantly forgetting to take my camera with me. I do not spend a lot of time on the phone only to stay in contact with my family which averages about 20-40m a day max. Which this device would work great for. I do want a decent camera that I can use to print pictures from. How do the pictures look when printed from a 24" printer? How bad is the noise in outdoor photos. I am coming from a large non-dslr camera which was 8mp but took awesome photos. The review has some nice shots but does not go into much detail for color drift, saturation etc. Any information would be helpful. Thank you

Bulls crap. Price should be at least 100 euro more because of the lens. Phones easily drop so much easier to break it and lost your camera too. It is also bulky. Or if you want to change your mobile i a couple of years you have to buy a new camera too. If also since its a smart phone freezes etc and needs to be restarted then it will take lots of time so you miss the moment

Hi.. I purchased this cameraphone phone on 22nd of August for 28,500 rupees in India. It's not easy to carry, and certainly not ergonomic to hold on and use without an issue. I put it in my jeans pocket last night and the camera automatically got started, thankfully i immediately took it out. Calling with it is a bit awkward, everyone thinks it's a camera on first sight. TouchWiz, as we all know is a buggy UI which causes it to lag on basic applications such as contact, gallery, dialer and in the camera application and lag terribly when many applications are loaded. Battery backup is good in normal usage but i don't get much battery backup when using it heavily. On full charge, i was able to take 210 pictures until the battery went 1 % which isn't too good. Well, Android OS is a resource and data guzzling OS so i understand why battery backup is shit. Camera take good pictures in good outside conditions, though distortions are much likely to happen in daylight. One thing i noticed about the pics taken with this camera is the red color really doesn't look red, it looks orange. See it yourself, take a picture of a tomato. On full optical zoom, pictures come out as little noisy, especially when it's evening. In artificial light, the camera performs good without flash but when taking a picture with flash in artificial light, the flash response time doesn't match that of the shutter speed, resulting in a little grainy and over saturated picture. Low light photography, only close up are good but the camera struggle to focus. Video recording is good but what i don't like about the camera is it records audio but the audio when played doesn't sound real or stereo. Video recording in low light is a pain because it doesn't have a led flash. The phone heats up a lot especially if you are continously using it for taking picture or playing your favorite game. Zooming when video recording is good but the cracking sound also gets captured which may be totally make your professional recording a pain. The back cover feels cheap and gets fingerprints a lot. Camera response times are slow. This is my first review. Hope it helps someone.

Please don't buy this. I bought it for 28k in India and am very disappointed with this phone. 1. It feels cheap and very bulky to carry around. 2. Picture quality is very bad. Colors don't look accurate, espcially the red color on pictures taken with camera. 3. Camera doesn't open quick and often hangs. 4. At full zoom, pictures get grainy with too much noise. 5. It lags, heats up and battery drains very fast. 6. All in all, a waste of money. I'm not happy with picture quality. Please don't buy it. Go for Nikon or Canon cameras or Nokia 808.

Well got mine a few days ago and been using it as a stand alone device. So far am very pleased. Although I did buy this before seeing it an naturally assumed GSMAREANAs 15.4mm thickness would have been at the thickest point...it really isn't!! The thickest point is probably closer to 33mm! Still it fits in my pockets (although with the circle of the lens visible to all through my trousers lol).

I just bought Samsung GS4 Zoom and it's really very disappointing for those fm lovers. As a matter of fact, this smartphone does not have fm chipset and cannot play fm radio as it can be done in Samsung GS3 or even other old-fashioned phones. I'm so regret to have bought this just because it cant play radio offline. Think twice before you buy!

I respectfully disagree. As I said in my previous post, I have a Nokia 808 and as an overall package the Samsung is a far superior product. Yes there are some camera features I prefer on the Nokia but the Symbian os is dated and horrid. I've had no lag on my Samsung Zoom and battery life is fantastic. At least there are apps I can load on it compared to the Nokia. Nokia ditched their own os. It is finished and obsolete. It's pointless to even bring it up as they have replaced it with the 1020 which is a far more exciting product. Not many people can afford multiple devices. If you had a budget for just one device would you buy the Nokia 808 (if you could find it) or the Samsung S4 zoom? As much as I love camera features, I need a smartphone too and lets face it; at this moment it's only Android or iOS. Blackberry are looking for a buyer and wp8 needs a long time to mature.

Oh please. I have both Nokia 808 and S4 Zoom. Nokia 808 produces natural images which i like and it has amazing low light imaging capabilities. Due to the sensor size being 1/1.2'' which is larger than S4 Zoom's sensor size on my Nokia 808 it captures more details and Pureview mode is amazing, you almost get DSLR like pictures quality and when cropping a picture taken with Nokia 808 it doesn't lose much details. Coming to S4 Zoom, it just has an optical zoom. My S4 Zoom just increases the ISO in auto mode to capture more details but fails miserably and captures too much Noise and pictures look artifical taken with it. Low light photography is good but video recording at night is pain with too much noise. It has no Pureview so you don't get good 8 or 5 MP stills. I lose too much details on pictures taken with S4 Zoom when cropping and sometimes S4 Zoom lags especially when it's loaded with apps and battery backup is very poor. I'm not a fanboy. I did a huge mistake by buying this camera/phone hybrid. For me, Nokia 808 is the real winner as it's easy to use and has many features in the camera than S4 Zoom. It's a good concept from Samsung however Samsung needs to work on image processing algorithms, camera lens and most importantly the designing.

I had a little play with Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom on Tuesday at the Samsung Demo, & wanted 1. The problem with all Nokia phones now is that you can no longer use any I-Players on windows or Symbian platforms, & most current apps aren't working on Nokia. The X 10 Zoom is very good, & the photos are as good as any SLR camera. All I am waiting for is for my current contract to expire & I will get one of these Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom.

Yes that's a good idea to wait for the prices to fall. At one point it dropped to £375 but I wasn't sure if I wanted it then. Recently the price keeps fluctuating for some reason. I had a Nokia 808 but just couldn't stand the Symbian OS (not a patch on Android) and you had to make use of the settings to get those brilliant shots. What I like about the S4 zoom is the easy mode where it gets it right most of the time, really straight forward plus there are tons of imaging apps from the play store if you ever need them. In my opinion, nothing compares to a real zoom lens if you need it. Also I've tried WP and as nice as it is, it just simply isn't for me though I'm sure many like it. I also am a firm believer in having a replaceable battery and especially for a camera centric device which fortunately this one has. There are currently only 2 things I dislike (nothing major); there is no 4G (only H+) and the official case is nowhere to be found. It can be a bit slippery and I dropped it last night from about 5.5 feet on hard floor. Luckily not a single dent, mark or scratch. Very well built! Ignore the exaggeration regarding its size. Yes it's a bit chunky but fits easily into regular pockets as it's short too. The battery life is superb. Brilliant phone.

I've had this phone for a week and I absolutely love it! I take many photo's (for my job too) so I thought I would give it a try. Based on all the opinions I was really hesitant but I'm so glad I got it. Obviously if taking photo's is more than casual use, it will be a good buy. It's big but comparable to phone from years ago. I can still put it in my pocket and it isn't an issue. The battery life is excellent and the photo's are better than my Sony digital camera. Those who prefer sleek phones shouldn't go for this. I frankly don't care how I look or what people think. I paid for it and it's made my life easier. It is very convenient for my usage. I do recommend you try it in a shop first before you purchase.

For those who loved the galaxy S3 or S4 and galaxy camera GC100, they will definitely love this S4 Zoom. This combined both smartphone, digital Camera and tablet in one amazing device. It's just very big for your pocket if you are going to use it as a phone. This will be better if there is smartwatch to pair with so that you just put this in your bag and answer the calls from the smartwatch. That will be very cool.

The best camera phone i have used after a very long time. The previous best camera phone was the sony ericson c905 and a few nokia's even b4 the existence of smartphones. If u compare this phone with lumia 1020 or 808 it wins on many grounds due just to the rule of physics that is bigger lens better picture and optical zoom just beats the nokia camera. However this improvements in the camera comes with the cost of a big bulky smartphone. All in all i loved it coz of its camera and can live talking to my camera.

What a joke of the year! At 29,000 this is a waste. I can get a better camera in just 10,000 to 15,000. Nokia 808 PV still the best and has the best digital zoom which doesn't degrade the picture quality. Android sucks and lags on Samsung phones and i have used this. I can say it lags like hell. Samsung is making almost all sorts of electronics equipments but none of these is perfect. In case of mobile phones Samsung seriously need to work hard implementing the hardware, not good enough, basically after 2-3 years, it becomes a piece of crap. Photos doesn't make a "wow" effect. On the edges resolution isn't as good as we would expect from a phone/camera hybrid. Lens are a bit dark too, especially comparing to Exmor RS. F/3.1 isn't stunning especially the highest value is 6.3, so the lightness will fall rapidly when zooming. But on the other hand, kit lens from cheaper SLR's usually has an uninspiring f/3.5 and can do good photos.

I am a photography freak and i like android OS so i bought this phone.. Wait it's not a phone it's a camera. Picture quality without full zoom is good but they look like oversaturated in the screen and even in my HDTV, i didn't find it natural. There aren't many pro like settings in the camera and the xenon range is 3.5m. Low light photography isn't that bad but due to the flash shadows can appear and noise is noticiable even in ISO 100. Optical image stablization works like a charm in videos and pictures but when zooming in it also records the sound of zoom. HDR works fine. Panaroma doesn't do its job well, pictures gets blurry. Switch on time is slow and so is taking a picture with flash. The camera struggles to focus in night and it's very dissappointing. The optical zoom is limited to 10X only. It's easy to keep this device in trousers pocket. Macro shot is very poor. There's no special features in the camera menu. For casual photography the pictures are acceptable. The cameraphone heats up a lot and battery life is not very good due to resource hungry OS Android. After a full charge, you will be able to take 150-160 pictures. I'm not very impressed with the pictures, it kinda looks unreal. Even the years old Nokia 808 takes better pictures but lack optical image stablization and macro shots. Nokia 808 still is the best cameraphone after Nokia Lumia 1020. I suggest you all to avoid this device and get yourself a Nokia 808 or a Lumia 1020 if you're looking for DSLR like picture quality in mobile phone. Thanks.

Hear, hear. I had a 15mm thick phone 10 years ago and it was perfectly pocketable. Hell, my Motorola from a few years ago was probably just as thick when folded. I admit navigating the menus is easier on a touch screen but I miss the good old keys every time I have to type a longer text, or play a game... All the good ones require the accelerometer so I have to play them sitting in the same position. At least Samsung is doing something out of the ordinary here, it's crazy, exaggerated, extreme, and just because of that it caught my attention. It is a unique and real breakthrough innovation treasure in our time. If you compare the shoots taken from Lumia1020 & S4Zoom, it's really very far different. S4zoom I could say it's a good imaging shooter from a conventional point & shoot camera. But from a Lumia1020 IT'S a WOW and a miracle result. No one will believe that the picture was take from a phonecam that has a 41MP sensor. It is really a dream come true. I coud say, that the future of imaging is here. I wouldn't get the galaxy camera as you'll have to carry more than one device. The 1020 and S4 zoom will all come down to personal pref of which OS you prefer as they will both perform well (I'm not a fanboy of any manufacturer unlike allot of biased people but will get the S4 zoom for MY needs as I prefer droid to WP).

Phew, I happened to see the Samsung Galaxy Camera on an advertising programme on a tv show days ago and I kind of like it very much as the features, the functions, the bigger MegaPixels, and the bigger loading internal and also external memories are quiteattracting me. I went today to the legal shop for a personal test and it really amazed me. The sensivity of the screen was so high and could run so fast when I slide it, it was so easy to operate and yet the sound of the device was so clear and boost when I played on the musics with my simple oldies headset. I think if I buy a best handsfree headset, then it'll be wonderfull to enjoy my musics. I like musics very much and can't live without them. Besides, I also like to take pictures wherever I go. If I could probably have a device to enjoy my musics, to take any picture, to make a phone call, and to send a text; email; MMS; etc on the go, then it'll be perfect to safe the unneedy things to bring even in my trips to my work or a journey to my tour. So I'm going to buy it tomorrow. But I think I was emotioned and was too impulsive. After I made a phone call with my friend, I'm sitting there watching tv alone boringly, then something across my mind: Why don't I check it on the internet to find out more and read to the comments people made? But now I have to think twice as the comments that people made are more disagrees. I compare with the Nokia Lumia 1020 and I think I will like it, but it just bad that the Nokia Lumia 1020 has no external slot for any other extra memory capability. And of course those are not the main reasons I'm changing my mind. I couldn't accept to buy Samsung Galaxy Camera GC-100 as there is no radio and no secondary camera as I will sometimes maka a face-to-face phone call to my relatives and friends abroad. Now I'm confusing which one to buy? For Samsung Galaxy Camera GC-100, I think I just count it out. Now I have 2 options either to buy Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom or Nokia Lumia 1020? If there is another choice or a better phone+camera device to buy, then I will go for it. Anyone here could give me more options to choose? I know noting about the specs in details. Before make a comment try to capture photos with Nokia C6-01 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 then compare if which is more clear & don't pixilates. Nokia camera phones are superior even those symbian running OS compare to Samsung running latest Android OS. This is the reason why i will switch back to Nokia because i'm frustated with my Note 2 captured photos. I wasted a lot of precious moments of my kids due to pixilated photos of Note 2 unlike my Nokia C6-01 the photos are clear & rarely pixilate. S4 Zoom is not handy compare to Nokia 808 or coming Lumia EOS so there's no reason i should buy this S4 Zoom.

I recently used the Nikon S63000 with Nikorr lens.. I am very disappointed by its camera quality. Even my Nokia 808 Pureview takes better pictures than that camera. Canon also performs better than Nikon cameras. If you want a camera phone, go for Nokia 808 or wait for EOS. Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom lack depth in pics.

Well i love photography and i have used Samsung Galaxy S4, Nokia 808 Pureview and Nokia Lumia 920. The Nokia 808 Pureview won the best-in-show at Mobile World Congress 2012 and as it's a camera phone it certainly outperformed S4 in terms of photography. The Samsung U600 had a 64MHz CPU and processed CIF @ 15FPS so not mega power is needed to process these videos..What are folk using that uses quad-core because so far no-one has provided any evidence.. I am in no means a sammy fan boy (in fact don't own a sammy at present), but i don't get all these samsung copy comments? They tried releasing cameras like this years back (2009 korea only), but have just seen the market is increasing in this region and are doing it with a smart phone. It's a good idea in my opinion and may push other manufacturers to push harder which is always good.

Never used one of these, but judgeing by the comments this is a fail (not an epic fail) but a fail. The s4 is pretty expensive as is, I would just buy a Samsung camera, that have 20 or more mega pixels. Not really a Nokia guy, but that 808 pureview with the 41 megapixel camera. Sounds like a good buy if u want a quality high grade phone and camera that work well in tandem.

If you look at the spec-sheet, clearly this is not S4 -class specs. It's quite bulky and heavy from the way it looks. Customers aren't stupid Samsung, you just crammed a Sim card in an updated version of the failure known as the Galaxy Camera.
