Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) - User Reviews

  • Any smartview?

  • Bah--one byte and no memory

  • Yes pen and attachable keybaord

  • where is smartview?

  • Better buy iPad mini !

  • does this support s pen?

  • so true

  • Is this Tablet a single Sim or double?

  • 2005 called, they want their tablet back.

  • does this T295 variant support USB OTG?

  • When s pen 8" global version Samsung going to launch in India.

  • Totally agree.

  • It's their cheap tablet.. It's like complaining about a iPhone XR when there's XS Max available? I mean

  • This is basically an updated version of the same tablet with same name. Trash if you ask me but for that price, you can't really complain.

  • yep better soc and 1080+ display i mean its 1200p so..

  • Samsung made a big boo boo here, the only 8" tablet they make and such low specs. Should have had a better display, better processer, double the ram and 64&128 internal memory options. Can't Samsung read the market need? They must up their game. I would buy the huawei mediapad lite 5, 8" before this.

  • I want a tab for creat word document and take printout of documents, is this tab good for above?

  • Mi pad 4 because it has a better processor

  • MI pad 4 has atleast double the processing power of this. But you need to verify Mi pad has global rom and future Android version updates are less likely on pad 4 as it is mainly build for chinese market.

  • I want to buy a compact tablet. Should I buy this or Mi Pad 4? The prices are similar

  • Dearest gsmArena.Do you have guts and heart to release my opinions fearlessly.Uncle Samsung.I hate millions of your workers losing their jobs worldwide. My comments and opinions are just friendly suggestions. Thanks with the best regard to release my opinions. Also mentioned names ...

  • Maybe some kind of low cost Tablet - but for the money not too bad… even if not knox kompatible right? What tablet you would recommend for enterprise usage in 8" ?

  • Why this one still exist when we already have Tab A 8 Spen?. Seriously 720p 8" tab in 2019 is a joke.

  • Why samsung made the classic android mobiles again Lenovo and huawei did better

  • At my place this devices costs RM599.. it is totally overpriced.. inferior processor and low RAM.. outdated screen with very low pixel density.. and yet samsung claims that this device is made for media consumption..

  • It should've been a little more expensive , with an Octa 14nm CPU and at least 4gb ram and a 1080p resolution , and not a TFT Panel that's so old , I can't imagine why this is even called (2019) version ? I got a MicroUSB charging port for a 3300 battery and it takes damn hours to charge so how about 5100 battery?

  • Who tf making them look like an oversized OPPO R7 is a great idea

  • Price of about 140-150€ is ok.Chipstet too, cameras can do the job(2 mp front should be 5mp). Battery great, resolution to low but that also mean faster experience. Only - here is just 2 gb ram.Today every tablet or smartphone must have at least 3 gb of ram.

  • How is it weak?

  • I have good news for you. I've just dug up all bands and it has 2 lte band. And its a steal for its money - costs only 130 eur the lte version!

  • No OLED, low resolution, no LTE band 28 = NO BUY

  • I would take this tablet any day than a low quality Fire tablet.

  • You gotta be joking right?

  • Beautiful bezels!

  • We want the SM-P205. There is nothing wrong with the 2018 Tab A 8", its now on android 9. The SM-P205 has 3GB of RAM and a pen, why did it get postponed? I want a real tablet.

  • Mod, here spec page say max sd card 1TB, news page say max 512GB, Which correct?

  • I'm guessing $129.99 for the WiFi version and $149.99 for the LTE one. Should be reasonable for the improved battery cap, chipset, software, metal build, STB ratio and LTE capability over the Fire HD 8. Maybe do some typing work with a BT keyboard if you're into that.

  • The specs are really underwhelming and the bezels are also very large. This tablet is meant for 2013.

  • its around $140

  • what do expect for a tab that costs around $140. for me its worth it except for the ram :/ that should've been 3gb instead of 2gb

  • Because it is reversible. Just like you, I don't understand the hype of USB Type-C.

  • Midrange specifications, display pixle density not attractive, Ram is bellow average,

  • This would be a nice tablet, 5 years ago.

  • its insulting in this day and age samsung still making tabelets with 2 RAM

  • What? I never see it on samsung malaysia

  • Why go over to a less durable Type-C? The B port will live forever!!!

  • Already retailed in Asia countries. One in Malaysia costs RM599 aka 129 euro. Its a catch for the price.

  • Hopefully it will be significantly cheaper than the more expensive model w/ a built in S Pen. I would expect Samsung to sell this for $129.99 to $179.99. But for specs this low, $199.99 and up would be a blatant rip-off. Crossing my fingers for that $129.99 price, though! :D

  • Design of 2012...

  • Very horrible specs.

  • MicroUSB should die already

  • It's in rumored state. But the tablet will come with crappy specs for sure, so yeah it's just waste of resources.

  • In 2019 quad core processor, why Samsung kidding

  • 2019 tablet with 2014 specs
