Samsung Google Nexus S 4G - User Reviews

  • I can not get where the sim slot for this product is located

  • Using Nexus S 4G from few years. Factory image available 4.1.1 and it will automatically update to 4.1.2 approx. 17 MB.

  • Yep. CyanogenMod 11. Do that one first, then if you want Omnirom 4.4.4.

  • Any body knows 4.4.4 rom for Google Nexus S 4G. I upgraded to 4.2.2 by cynogenmod.

  • My Samsung google nexsus s 4g is no more, it goes dead automatically one day. I purchase it in the year of January 2013 and goes dead recently.

  • i need software my set is out of order after 2days use only google is on screen any solution?

  • The phone is CDMA and cannot be used in any GSM network worldwide, I just got it for my friend and he can't use it in Nigeria..

  • cara inkjet samsung android cdma.??

  • The problem is it can't be use here in the Phillipines

  • The problem is it can't be use here in the Phillipines

  • I got this phone back in Sept of 2011. Since then I am on my 4th phone. The issues I have is that the phone was shutting off and restarting, mostly during phone calls, also it will go on mute,or speaker phone while on a call. I go through tech support and they have me to a bunch of stuff and assure me it will work correctly, only for it to do it again. This has been my favorite phone so far, other then the issues. Has anyone else had these issues? I think it started when the updated it to ICS, now I think it's on Jelly bean.

  • I think Nexus S 4G is not supported by ASOP. Checked the factory image on official link also. :(

  • my brother got this mobile. it is automatically upgraded to jelly bean os android. so go for it if u use cdma network.

  • from Ebay

  • where did u buy it

  • Don't know new verison 4.1.2. or 4.2 will be coming..

  • Yes it does

  • yes, it has android 4.1. i have it on my nexus s since august.

  • are this phone will get jelly bean 4.1?

  • i love this phone. Picture quality is great, good service, and nice design :)

  • This phone is bigger, has a better screen than iPhone 4 same CPU speed. If you like big phones but stuck between iPhone and this, get this. People get iPhones cuz there made by apple and apple is not that great. Samsung is the leader in electronics. Period.

  • dont know which phon is having these specifications...

  • it's 512MB dude....... check out here........ google.com/phone

  • hhaha,you avail fake phone.

  • Specifications are very bad. It has 1GB RAM, Android 4.0, multiband, 4g. The phone is excellent, the specifications on this page are incorrect.

  • Love this phone has everything i need,i havent droped it yet...lol good karma....BTW this is by far the best phone i have ever owned

  • Very nice phone, but no card slot??? Then buy an iPhone LOL

  • You're really right about that.

  • Try This phone.. the main reason you buy apple products is to let other people see you can buy them

  • just sold one for AUS $180, looks alright.

  • Of course it is. The Nexus S 4G is a 2011 phone, and it's still updated with the very last version of Android (Android 4). There is a gigantic number of apps available through the Android Market, with plenty more under way and in the following years. It's still actively support... it has a very good screen (amazing by early 2011 standards) and everything you could ask for. And Android 4 has not reached even its summit yet (most apps are still developed for previous versions of Android). The N900, however, is old (late 2009), the screen does not come close in terms of quality, and the worst: its software (Maemo) is not even remotely supported today (it has gone the computer history), and there aren't more than a handful of good apps for it. Developers never had and never will focus for it. Support is a joke or nonexistent (I know someone who bought it in 2010 and regrets that dearly! let alone today!). I mean... N900 is history. I'm even surprised it's still being sold.

  • Pls pls pls..... bring this handset with GSM support and FM radio...... i liked it very much...nice specs and gud design.

  • My mom brought me this phone insted nokia n900 think it's ok??

  • Plz launch GSM Handset like this

  • I personaly own the nexus but have heard so many storys about the 4G network can anyone tell me how true all this is because i and a mate both dont have 4g on our phones????

  • How do use picturemessinging

  • The phone is cool, but the technician in Texas are as dump as the back light of the phone. I sent my phone for backlight fixing and only for those so-called technicians to replace my firmware with that of T-mobile. Meanwhile I bought this phone Open Generic I did not need permission from T-mobile to use it in Ghana, Africa. Now I have to send this phone back again to Texas for Gods knows how many generations they will do what is right. This is the second time I have to send the phone from Ghana to USA. Can you imagine??

  • love my nexus S It does everything an iphone does , i wouldnt trade it for the world!!

  • id lik 2 know, Im based in South Africa & wanna buy dis phone 2 use it here but will it work on a normal network & if not the is there any other way to use it dis syd?

  • Why would anyone buy a iPhone when this phone is much more advanced. Get out of here fanboy

  • Cool phone, love it!! Best phone I've ever had!

  • there's no absolutely dought in this phone but it's not usually can fix it in anytime you want to surf about your yahoo. penks...

  • android is great in its own way and i m not saying samsung is not good but iPhone 4 is worth buying than any other phone ... as per my opinion u should go for iphone 4 u may not need to change it for next 3 years @least... :)

  • amazing phone

  • Hi there,I think it is the best selection for all, I am gooing to buy it. I know the galaxy s and galaxy s II is beter but I love this one because I love google

  • The best phone is galaxy S2 I9100.It has CPU 1.2

  • Hi all. I am on the market for a new phone and my choices are the Iphone 4, the blackberry torch or the samsung Google nexus S 4G? I want my moneys worth and I plan on keeping the phone for at least one year because I'm not the type to change phones that much. Any advice?

  • It's not A GSM device dude... So, it's not called "GPRS" connection. But it's called EVDO Connection in CDMA devices

  • this is more of a question will there be a fix for the nexus 4g volume problem

  • Somethings wrong with the specs....Cant be 5 mp without gprs.....

  • this mobile is awsome and cool really amazing :D

  • nice

  • Does this phone got a 2nd camera for self image?

  • WOWO Samsung Google Nexus S 4G Internal Memory 16GB storage

  • IF you look under the data profile in specs, its says that it does not support GPRS or EDGE which respectively are 2.5G and 3G on the GSM spectrum. Therefore it is not GSM compatible and most likely not include a SIM card slot. Sprint's GSM/ SIM card compatible phones are the BB tour, BB Bold 9650, HTC Touch Pro2 and Motorola ES400S.

  • its a cdma handset but want use whith gsm sim so iam comfert with this handset can it chenge in gsm but its other servis are best for regular use in mobile

  • @Vodafone user: This is a CDMA phone & I guess vodafone does not have CDMA. So you can not use your vodafone

  • i m vodafone user will this phone support for vodafone card. pls tell me urgent i want to buy this phone but if this phone will not support vodafone then i hav to think some other option

  • i kindly request you to read the specifications carefully.its cdma device and can support calls, messages etc.

  • only 63MM thick? Wow!

  • Wil it wrk on tataindicom cdma n wht abt internet surfin is it posible ? Whts d price

  • Q2 is from April to June... That doesn't mean a "summer" release.

  • good phone

  • The picture looks like there is a cover or case on the phone... seems bulky from there..

  • This is not the phone you own. You own the Google Nexus S. This one here is 4G. The one you own is not 4G. This hasn't even been released yet. If you noticed, it says expected release in Q2. That is in Summer.

  • samsung new phone lunch. But it has been verry measure problem battry backup are not good it has hanging problem bcoz not memory card slot all data save in phone memory

  • how old are you? do you know cdma? do you think only gsm network can make voice call?

  • I own this phone. I bought it because it is a pure google phone and I would not have to deal with the issue of upgrading the operating system. This phone is everything that I hoped for. Excellent response, great colors, love the google navigation. I am able to organize all my music into folders and prefer it by a huge margin to the iPhone way of organizing music. My only beef with this phone is the camera. The photos taken on the phone are good. The videos taken on this phone are good as well, except when I take a video that is greater than 2 minutes long, there is stutter in teh video after 2 minutes and the video and audio are not in sync. The low definition video has really poor quality. I looked around for a video app that I can use that takes medium resolution video, but does not cause the video stutter but was unsuccessful. I would give this phone a 5 stars out of 10 for that reason.

  • It does not know GSM, but knows CDMA

  • If this rig is not capable for GSM network function and can't handle voice calls, SMS & MMS. So, what's this thing for? scratch pad!!!

  • google+4g+samsung hardware+gingerbread= mega win!
