Samsung Manhattan E3300 - User Reviews

  • The camera, it's bad, IT'S BAD!!!

  • The Samsung feature phones from since like 2010 or 2011 have all became worthless.

  • i hard problem with my phon i wanted seting all my internet @apps backup my countacts

  • how can I move my song from mass storage into my music icon

  • Please tell me does this phone support bahasa (indonesia)?? thanks

  • Turn off BlueTooth.

  • to prevent accidental sending while typing message type message first then add contact

  • Hey, I've had a lot of complaints about at 'PUT' password being involuntarily placed on the device when an active SIM has been placed in it. Now I'm aware of a dialing method to get rid of it but I was wondering if there was any way to a hard factory reset?

  • Worst phone I've ever owned. I bought 1 from Woolies in Brisbane and it's battery kept going flat after 1 day within 1 month of purchase. Thought w/e cheap phone I guess I got a bad one, I went and bought the same model from a different store and the same thing happened -battery would be flat after 1 day within 1 month of use. I've tried all the lowest power use settings such as backlight off after 1 sec and brightness very low - no difference. Worst cheapie phone model I've ever bought!

  • I find it too easy to accidentally send the SMS while editing it. This presence of this problem is unnecessary.

  • I received the phone today. I quite like it so far. I have just spent close to an hour on Samsung Chat, to eventually come to the conclusion that the phone does not automatically set its clock to the carrier's network time.

  • I have just bought an E3300 on eBay, then went looking, expecting to easily find a soft protective cover for it. I have not been able to find one. Has anyone found something?

  • For alarm setting > menu > organiser, then select 1 alarms, you have the option of setting up several alarms each may be set with any mp3 ringtone from your memory card if this is what you like and each alarm tone can have its own individual volume set

  • I bought mine optus locked pre pay from woolies it cost about $14.00, i am using my Amaysim in this fantastic little device, i not using so much internet on phone so now using the E3309T as my main phone. Am using mp3s as ringtones from my inserted memory card also wallpaper from memory card as screensaver, can also use mp3 from memory card as choice of caller receiving ringtone if you choose to do so. My reception and signal strength is very good also call quality is loud and clear as also the inbuilt speaker phone and also call ringtone can be set at a good volume. The battery life is very good and i am making overseas calls are nice and clear, the messaging features and texting input is just as good as it gets. For a cheap phone this set is amazing also my blue tooth headset for receiving calls connects every time with this phone. When the ringer sounds it can be heard loud and clear when set to a loud volume also message alerts. This phone is a little beauty ie so many good features, i have also bought myself another E3300 as a spare and also another for my wife, i also have a HTC one, and a Motorola Defy however i just love this little Sammy E3300 it is excellent quality and considering the small cost of the product it is remarkable ok cheers terry

  • I'm changing to a new provider. How can I keep the numbers and names stored on the phone to use with the new phone company?

  • Remove back of phone and Card goes inside, top left corner

  • How many contacts can it hold?

  • It says it can hold an SDcard up to 32gb, well... where does it go?!

  • Smartphones suck, this is an awesome phone. It does everything I need a phone to do - ring and txt AND it has great battery life 10/10

  • This is awesome. So cheap and a performer

  • i cannot access my files in images or video, instead i only see a button that says download images or download video. when i look at the details of the folder it tells me the images and video sizes so i know they are on my phone some where!

  • I had to purchase a phone out of an emergency as my smart phone died rather than wait for my contract to expire to get a free upgrade (aprx 3 mths to go) i had to purchase this piece of rubbish worse phone I have ever had. I should have spent extra and purchased another smart phone.

  • No it cannot read pdf files

  • There is fm capability you must have the earphones plugged it to act as an anntena

  • how do you install a gps app to the phone

  • You can choose how long the phone stays on before it switches off. It switches off when the backlight goes off. To adjust it, go into settings > Display >Backlight, from there you can choose the amount of time you prefer.

  • When you are typing a text, hold down the astrix key for a few seconds and a menu will pop up. Click on Writing Language and then select English. Doing this will fix your predictive text problem.

  • i was told it was an excellent buy for my needs. i needed a simple and reliable phone/ i am dissapointed as it keeps turning itself off' also i always have my phone on vib. rather than ring, occasionally i notice unanswered calls and i need to bash it so it works again i took it in for service (under gaurantee) and was told there is nothing wrong.

  • Hi is there an alarm clock on this ph just got an cant find it ? Thanks

  • Thanks for information. Am planning to buy one on bay, but used. I have one question since your comment is new. The frequencies for faster internet(3g internet) on this phone e3309, which are 900/2100, are working properly? I mean the browsing is 3g on these frequencies Please answer.

  • Posted previously about poor predictive text but now the problem is solved. I had set the language as English in the main menu but it did not work very well at all. I fixed it by holding down the astrix key while typing a text and a menu came up. The language there was shown as Spanish? I changed it to English and wallah! It now works really good. If you are having problems, give it a try as it works.

  • Good phone in general but predictive text is not very good at all.. Is there a way to update the inbuilt dictionary?

  • like to know the freq range of this phone for external antenna

  • So this phone doesn't have FM radio like the e3210 did?

  • can i open pdf file in this set

  • I have the same problem. The predictive text dictionary is really poor. (I'm in Australia.)

  • I have samsung manhattan 3G e3300. I don know is good or not. But I think is good.

  • Best phone. Does everything you need. Good battery life. I am using it rather than a smartphone.

  • wk blue u got a top phone huh

  • Samsung Manhattan E3300 price :4600 3G this RONG PRICE.....

  • Does the phone hve watsapp?

  • My husband bought mine off eBay (we're in Australia).

  • Where did you buy this phone?

  • Got this phone as a temporary fix after my old phone was stolen. Mostly enjoying using it - but the dictionary for texting is awful! Every text message I have to spell at least three words - like "won", "have", "were", "here", "should", "this". I'm not talking jargon, but ordinary things we say all the time! It didn't know "love" or "sorry". Sorry guys, but that is unacceptable! I thought adding my own words to the dictionary would solve the problem but it erases the least-used or the oldest (not sure which). I've had to teach it my own name three times now and I've only owned it four weeks!

  • Where is this available? I don't think this phone is available in india.

  • Finally a nice little phone does what it should, easy to use and 3G, thanks Sammy keep it up, Bye Nokia.

  • Samsung please release this model with Dual Sim.

  • does this phone has JAVA? i mean can it run .jar apps/games?? like samsung e2252 can play some java files

  • I am using this as a back-up phone as my original handset, LG Optimus One P500 has broken down. So far it's one of the best phones (regardless of feature or smartphones) I've ever used. Keypads are comfortable & easy to use, battery life is superb (can even last more than one week if you have short talking times + rarely use the data)!! Ringtone is really loud enough to wake you up. Would highly recommend this to the seniors and anybody aiming for a budget phone.
