  • Yes, it does not support android apps because it is java powered, so if you want android apps supported phones you bought a wrong phone cause it is java phone and java phones is for java apps and games only. stop comparing android phones vs this phone. Cause for me it is a great java phone, but if you look this phone as android phone, this phone is bad because its not android.

But before that you will have to buy the phone, as they will ask you the code number which is required to see if your mobile can be upgraded. You will find me there.

  • I have brought one Samsung GT-S5292 Rex 90 Duos (white color) on 2013 October at Euronics Store (Italy) and this is my opinion: 1) with battery recharged correctly at 100%, after approx 3~4 time the phone can't reach 190-200 hours in stand-by with a normal use (about 15-16 hours power on / day, with few calling and SMS sended-recived): it's the HALF autonomy expected; 2) the O.S. it's NOT Android (but it's a Samsung's proprietary O.S.), have embedded apps like IM, Facebook, Twitter, ChatON and Communities but NOT ChatON; 3) when You buy Samsung's mobile phones, be careful on the package contents: in these phone model frequently mini USB - USB PC connection cable and headphones are MISSING WITHOUT NOTICE on external bag, inside instruction manual or official Samsung's Web site!. The price of both of them is about 16-22 euros (the S-5292 Rex 90 price's is about 80 euros) and without headphones You can't listen the radio service. These are my evaluation on these product.   • Ya true guys, It is the worst phone Samsung has ever brought to the market. It has only look and nothing. Touch is worst than resistive, have to press hard to type something like old school sets. They says REX and I was amazed by what is it gonna be and when I opened it OMG it is a java platform worse than many Chinese phones. Inbuilt IE is way to bad and is deadly slow to open something. Opera is doing bit fine but not to the max due to the configuration it has. Menu are typical old fashion and you cannot download something easily. I tried to download Talking Tom from last 3 days but I couldn't do it. Battery backup is bad, WIFI is the only good option here but again LAVA is giving better quality than this phone in this section. Overall only 2 stars for this phone out of 5. So if the question is 'Should I buy it?' Answer is definitely NOOOOOOOOO

  • 1) Youtube is not very friendly with this phone as it has a memory of 10mb and thus cannot load a lot of data. 2) Both the sims are active at the same time. But in some cases does not live up to it. 3) Not sure about downloading but might b u got a facility of pause and resume. 4) No multi-tasking. 5) And yes a very spacious qwerty keypad awailable but the input detection is a very big disappointment.

  • This phone has an internal memory of just 10 mb which is a real shock. It means it wont load up heavy sites with lot of images. I even doubt facebook. Whatsapp is not available on this phone as it is powered by java. Only the best thing in the phone is its battery life. It works atleast for 48-50 hrs easily with normal use. But sincerely i would not recommend the phone to anyone. Save the money and nokia asha would be a better option.

  • i bought this phone 1 week back. i hv vodafone network connection. I hv taken 2g data pack for my internet surfing. However, after surfing for some time, the net connection automatically disconnects, and i have to switch my phone off and on to get back connection. Swithching to flight mode and then back to normal mode also does not help. i regularly delete the cookies and cache files so that is not a problem. i hv contacted vodafone customer care, and they hv verified the network (Vodafone mobile Connect) settings and it is all ok. Infact when i use this sim in any other phone, it works fine. Is there a problem with the phone? how can this be corrected. it is a very irritating problem. please help.
