Also, the screen scratches very easily, so if you're still planning to get this phone, make an effort to get a pouch AND a screen protecter. The "door" to the port, used for earphones and charger, cracked as well, cause it just hangs there when port is in use. Sound when you're on a call is terrible, sounds "blikkerig", as if you're talking from the toilet. Silver casing peels real quickly as well. Other than that, camera is perfect, phone is nice and light. For music, try the Nokia Express 5800 phone

That's because you are supposed to save them to your sim card! if you send your phone for repair your network will tell you to keep your sim card, therefor you are ment to save them to the sim card not the memory card.

How come S7350 that I bought yesterday videocaptures only 320x240 max? There are only two options in settings menu, either 320x240 or even smaller 178 on something. I don't see any D1 or even WVGA resolution. ??

Had bad experience with my last phone and decided to change to Samsung. Big mistake. The PC studio didn't work and the phone software had to be upgraded (sold with obsolete software)The wake up alarm works only if the phone is ON. The prdictive text is substandard (Eg. If you type Hi it gives it's first priority as Ii which is probably Martian). Screen scratches within few days. You can not save your contact onto the 2Gig card, which would make sense, since any repair requires backing up your data. All in all I regret to purchase the phone.

Design wise pics dont do justice to it, its beautiful. Biggest problem is battery life and also I cant find decent games for it, bought need for speed and it looks like u playing on E250 or any other basic java phone. I love the music recognition thing though and live radio recording and the camera is super!

I had to take my phone for repairs on my very first month after having it. It would not charge, when evr I inserted the charger it would switch off. My favourite feature is being able to record live radio How cool is that s***. The camera is amaizing, Im addicted to taking pictures of my self & my friends. Well the battery life is sooo bad its anoying. Im forever on Facebook & Mxit so I have to charge my Silver bird every day. S*** Im even thinking 0f buying an extra battery for my self... But Im a sucker for Samsung Cell Phones. Very user friendly.. Once you use samsung you aint never going to other brands.

This phone is by far the WORST electronic device I have ever used. The auto-sensor always turns my pictures the wrong way, when I want to surf the net while lying on my side, I cannot because it keeps flipping the screen the opposite way. It always crashes, the google add-in seldom works the first time - I need to repeat searches so the URL's will work. Some links I click on download random pictures. The battery is pathetic - it dies on my everyday (regardless of how long I charge the phone). There is nothing special about it - its pretty basic but it comes PACKED with problems. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! I was an avid Samsung fan up until I replaced my D900i with this. Samsung does not want to help me with this phone so I get no support. I will NEVER buy any Samsung electronics every again. You have been warned

The battery life is average. just carry a car/ wall charger with you. Otherwise a great phone. Forget about GPS, there is no software for it, although it will give your latitiude and longitute positions. Very well built and solid phone.

I have spent days researching the internet for a suitable GPS program. It seems that this model originally came with Route66 navigation software and the countrys maps were stored on a memory card. But the phone companies removed it. Some countries like Philipines and South Africa still had the Route66 navigation installed. But,I've given up trying to find it.

When u connect to PC, select Mass Storage (assuming thats where u saved your pics) on your phone. Windows should then pop up with options. Select open to view files. Then just drag it across to desktop.

Had my S7350 for 3 months now. Camera is great. Manual is terrible there are loads of things you can do thats NOT in the manual its like it was half done. Loads of irritating things about this phone that could have made it so much better. EG sound it is either on for everything or off. I hate the noise when pressing keys but want to hear when the camera clicks. You cant alter the shortcut kets so rather than hanging up I keep going on the internet. The keys make it difficult to text you have to look you cant "feel" You cant have bluetooth on at the same time as connected to your PC. Bluetooth is slow. when I pop in and out the car with my Nokia it connect instantly. This takes aaaagggggeeeess. So much so I try to remember to leave the phone in the car if I am popping out. Slider has started to get jammed with grit for in and out my pocket. However the Camera really is great and the video is OK. I cant understand why the video is not better when the camera is so good.

Ggreat phone, gives me what I need, long lasting battery (for me anyway).. The flash user interface is great which means zero lagging between applications, and it's great that you can create your own themes, with colours and pictures.. Maybe not funky enough for a teen but I'm a student so it's great.. The only bad thing about this phone is the accellometer. you can't turn it off, and it gets annoying when you're lying on your bed and it keeps switching. but all in all a really nice phone. I'm very happy with it. ps KARRELity, the pink one is a Japan-only I hear. I know it sucks.

Just found out that Samsung dropped voice activated dialing some time ago :( This is useless for my in car bluetooth kit. Unless they adopt it, this will be my 1st and last Samsung. Stopping to dial a number for the next 17 months is not something I am looging forward too. Anyone answer the Soft key question?

I'm very happy with the phone but what a terrible manual!!! I was ready to throw it out the window as it seemed to be missing so many features. For example: Moving your storage options from the phone to the memory card. Took me ages to work out. Camera is brilliant. Video is good. Large screen great for watching movies when you travel. GPS i handy when you are lost, but not up to dedicated Sat nav standards. Music player is good. I also like the fact that I can recharge wherever there is a PC via USB. However integration with a MAC is appalling. PC is fine. I find the battery life OK not good not bad, about three days before charge. What I haven't worked out yet is, how do you activate voice dialing??? How can you alter the Soft keys ( not the 4 way user seletable keys for the Dpad)?

Good mobile ,but I really got frustrated with the battery life. I always use the mobile for music, browsing and gaming and believe me, the battery doesn't last one single day. Rest qualities are good but a wi-fi would have definitely geared the set more high.

can't say anything about 6720c..coz I haven't use that phone.. but s7350 has a good camera also for taking pictures.. and it can record very clear video..(It's just that it consume a lot of memory..That's logical I think..) One more thing I love bout s7350 is its big screen display, which is very good in watching videos specially movies.. and it can play almost any video format you can put at it.. (DivX compatability is a big plus).. Most of the time I'd rather listen to my music in the supplied headset, the built-in speaker is not loud enough for me..

wonderful phone, totally love it. the customizable themes and shortcuts gives you more feeling of ownership, and the camera works great! i got the pink one, which was really, really nice. the only thing i hate about it is the battery life. mine lasts 2 days with minimal texting/calling. if used full-blast (web browsing, music playing, texts and calls), it lasts barely a day.

i have this phone and the battery is good. when i'm not using the phone (exept for looking for the time or using alert from time to time) it's running for 3 days. when talking a lot, its not much worse, meaning talking doesn't influence the battery as much as it did on my old nokia n70. but the best thing is that the phone just needs very little more power when you use the music player.

It's infuriating to have such a big screen and still need a microscope to read the menus. The only time you can see nice big characters is when you "manually" dial a number. I just got this phone yesterday. So far so good. Very similar to my previous phone Samsung D900i, so find it quite easy to navigate. But I have few problems though. Could someone please help me with setting up the email. Like when I want to email pictures etc. what should be put to POP3, incoming and outgoing. I have created a gmail account, but I am not sure what are the settings. Also strugling with Shozu. Yes. if the picture is saved on the memory card, and you set that particular picture as a wallpaper, the phone will automatically save a copy to the phone

For such an expensive phone one would think the battery would last longer than it does. Samsung need to sharpen up in terms of battery life. Unacceptable. A huge negative factor.

bad and good comments, I'll just mix 'em up. After so many years being in this industry, Samsung still doesn't have the copy/cut/paste function!!!! the closest you get to that is by "copy to dialing screen" on the call log When using J2Me application, texting/T9 is extremely horrible! deleting erroneous characters is a nightmare! but it's pretty smooth on other applications such as messages. ShoZu is great for uploading pics to facebook and other communities. The camera functions exactly like that of a digital one.... when using it I don't feel like I'm taking a picture using my phone... makes me feel like a professional photographer. GPS is crab... just doesn't work for me! You can't take pictures/videos using the secondary camera, that's only for video calling! DivX videos don't play, you have to register your device first, which is a total nightmare... if some1 can help me out here please mail me on [email protected] little onboard memory, really samsung needs to improve there it has multi-tasking options (switching between apps) ... Excellent! auto rotate using the browser, Nightmare! but you can always download Opera Mini, works wonders for me. As for the google function, waste of space if you ask me! I can access my gmail under "messages" I don't need the google search engine nor google maps/gps that don't work nicely. Crap! Why didn't they preload a game or two???? where can I download those for free? THE BATTERY IS TOTAL CRAP!!! I actually wanted return the phone bcuz of that, but then, I turned the "power save" on, lowered the LCD brightness, and decreased the backlight time.. still didn't help much... only when I turned my 3G network off it became a bit better... someone tell me the point of having a 3G phone and having to keep it off??? in short, the talk time on the battery is crap! otherwise every other thing not mentioned is totally up to standard and exceeded my expectation

This phone is really nice there are just some things that I don't like about it's Music Player. 1. You cannot sequenced the songs on you're own Playlist the way you want it, It's always in alphabetical order.. (That was very frustrating..) 2. There is no way to 'Stop' a track on the player you can only 'Pause'.. 3. The pre-bundled mp3 files on the phone when played through the loudspeaker, sounds pretty loud enough..but playing my own mp3 files on it through the loudspeasker, the volume are steps lower.. I don't know what could be the difference since the music files are at the same format anyway.. (But I have to say the sound through the headset are pretty good..) I hope there could be a way to address this at least the items 1 & 2. Any helpful input would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

I can't see an 'Exit' option when using the camera..What I do to exit is just press the "End Call" key and it will return to the Standby screen. Is that the only way to close the camera? 2. I've had this Classico for 3 days now and I've had to charge it up every day. Its only been used for about 15 txts, a couple of photos and the usual customising and familiarising you do when you get a new phone. Is this battery faulty or am I expecting too much? My old Motorola was charged every couple of weeks or so, so perhaps I've been spoilt. I like the features, the usual manual is rubbish, not at all helpful and I'm wondering whether to send it back. Oh, by the way does anyone know how to brighten the subject when you're ready to take a photo, I would have thought it was on the navigation button or a slider at the side but that only brings the subject nearer. Further to my comment below, I have since sold this phone, I only had it for about a week, I got so fed up with the battery life it was really making me fed up. I also didn't like that when I was going to do a text message, ALWAYS I had to switch off the predictive text.

The phone is stylish and looks good, but I'm a bit disappointed with some of the functionality. The good: - good screen, images are quite clear and colours are nice - camera is quite good - stylish The not so good: - The side volume buttons, by default, control the keypad volume tone. i always have them turned off so i find a shortcut isn't required. - Battery life leaves a lot to be desired. Even with minimal use of voice calls and mostly texting the battery lasted only 3 days. - I find the operating system can't source pictures/songs straight from the memory card and creates a duplicate copy within the phone's internal memory. - The custom menu doesn't allow shortcuts to be deleted (i'm not entirely sure on this, please correct me if i'm wrong). - Only 251 messages can be stored and i can't seem to be able to transfer them to the memory card. Also, the "sending message" screen stays on for a while and cant' be exited without "cancelling" the message send (i put cancelling in quotation marks because it's very hard to actually cancel the message once it's been sent) - I also can't find a way to store people's birthdays on the calendar. - the "low battery" alert makes a sound even when the phone is on silent (vibration only) mode. Sorry for the long post, just thought i'd put in my opinion. Maybe it's because i'm used to other phone brands and there are ways around my qualms but i haven't figured it out yet. cheers.

I think "average use" can vary from user to user. Also, Samsung has a tendency of using smaller rated batteries when comparing to similar models and form factors from other manufacturers so Samsung mobile phones aren't known or recognized for their battery performance. The S7350 has a 880mAh battery while the Nokia 6600 has a 1000mAh battery and both the SE w910 and w760 use 930mAh batteries. I get 2-3 days (no 3G) out of my S7350 before I need to charge it, but I usually charge it after the second day while I still have 2 bars left. This is an improvement over my last Samsung which had an even smaller battery and more or less had to charge it at the end of each day.

I switch my 3g to gsm unless i need the fast download speed. I also switched off my phone sounds, they are annoying and waste energy, also vibrate unless its on silent. i use wap quite a bit and have moderate normal phone use, my batt lasts between a day and two. i had a music session with it today, batt at three bars, played over ear phones for about 3.5 hours till i stopped listening (to write exam) still alive, now, some 4 hours later, at one bar...

I have also found that the battery life does not last very long. With 3G on you are lucky to get 1 days battery life. On quering this further with a service centre I was told that the specs on this website are incorrect!! Can you believe this? I think we are being misled!

Okay. Figured out the TASK MANAGER. Go to Settings>Phone settings>Camera key>Always ask/Switch. Now, when you press the camera key and hold while idle you can switch between functions, call, messages, applications, etc... Now, to MINIMIZE, when you have an application open, like opera mini, all you need to do is press the CALL END key. The phone asks if you want to finish, or resume. But, the OK key has a little icon above it that looks like the window minimize key on your pc... So just press the OK key (D-pad middle black button) and it minimizes the application with a little play icon next to it to show its still running. If you minimize more than one application, the task manager can help you switch between them now... Happy switching! (a function i really needed to find since having used symbian and sony ericsson phones...)

To minimize applications all you do is hit the end call key and when it asks you "Do you want to finish?" you'll see that the left soft key is "Yes" and the right soft key is "No" but then also in the middle you see a little black square icon which is linked to the enter on the d-pad -- this is the minimize option.

I can't as yet find any real support for this phone anywhere, also i cant find any application that'll help me utilize the GPS functionality of this phone for getting directions. Apparently this phone originally had route66 software that eventually wasn't included in the release. i also cant find a garmin equivalent that looks to support it. Preferrably i'd want a freeware application if one exists? Another querry. In the settings, Default Memory. AND in the camera settings, i've repeatedly set the memory to the microSD card. but the phone just ignores this input and reverts to phone memory, which is extremely annoying. Okay, i've been taking test shots all day, seeing as its a new phone so i cant put it down... Right. To give advice to anyone lookin to buy this phone for the camera sake. REGARDING NIGHT SHOTS. I was taking shots from late afternoon till sundown, having fiddled with all the settings, white balance, metering mode, night shot, focus, macro dynamic wide range you name it. After sundown i grabbed my old Sony Ericsson k810i, ran out and took shots of 12 things i'd snapped with the samsung, really fast like, without proper aim or focus care, point and shoot. Now with near 40 shots from the s7350, i've sorted through the results, chosen the best 12 samsung shots, and compared. I'm dissapointed to report, not ONE S7350 got the colour of the object right, the flash 'over exposes' eveything. shots were blurry and garbled and the detail was really low. So, REGARDING NIGHT SHOTS, if you are looking to buy, look for a sony ericsson, in 2 years i've almost never taken a shot i didn't want, and i take mostly night shots. There just wasn't comparison. Samsung didn't 'make the shot'. I'll do some day shots tomorrow and report whether day shots or well lit shots are worth it.. i really hope they are... we'll see. (if anyone wants proof of the shot quality, i'll post the pics up on photobucket if they'd like)

Its different from the SE, and when i use things like Opera Mini, it bugs me to have to press Menu->Clear->clear to delete a wrong character, but i'll probably get used to it. shame there wasnt space for a "C" button.. CAN ANYONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO MINIMIZE APPLICATIONS??? please, if theres some trick the manual doest mention, lemme have it? as the task manager/switcher only shows me one open application, with the option to resume or end, there's no minimize or switch involved?

Yes you are right, it does not have a 'c' button. in stead there are soft keys. When writing a SMS the right soft key is the back/delete button. I am used to doing that from using many mobiles so I don't see it as an issue at all.

memory is 100mb with support upto 16gb micro sd. I have had this phone for a week and overall i'd say its good. If you don't want a touch screen (Some early reports/review said the touch screen was a little sluggish which put me off) then go for this over the S8300 Touch. I preferd the look of this one because of the more subtile colour of it. Lots of options although menu can be a little fiddlely at times, it is my first samsung since the D600 so many of you may be used to this. Battery life is average-good, it's not the best but not the worst either. Phone feels solid in my hand, may seem a little large (for a slider) at first but soon got used to it. Good reception for me so far (it is replacing a Sony Ericsson W890, the reception on that was the worst on any phone I have had in the last 12 years). The screen although not S8300 AMOLED standards is nice and bright photo and videos look good. Speaking of video's the Divx play is a fantastic bonus as I can now just put movies on it without having to convert on the pc. Music player, seems good again, while not quite up to Walkman 3 standards though but definatly passable. I have been using a set of bluetooth headphones and the sound is clear good. I have not used the browser much yet so wont really comment on that. Same with the GPS, there is only Google maps on the device, which I haven't used yet but its a shame there is no navigation software. Camera performance is mid tier I'd say, can produce some nice shots in well lit conditions and has support for geotagging via GPS. Video recording decent as well with upto 720 x 480 at 30 fps. Any other questions just ask and I will try to respond, until GSMArena decide to review it that is. It seems that this phone will get overshadowed by its bigger brother the S8300 Ultra touch which is a shame because it is a very good performer in its own right.

A quick question to people that have this phone. I have the D900 which has a "C" key below the d pad to delete a mistake whilst texting. It doesnt look like this phone has that, how do you delete a wrong character? Thanks in advance.

We may have to wait a long time yet. I have no direct info, but play.com lists the phone as "due for release on 27/04/2009". If so, I'll have to get something else, that's too far... :(

It records video in .mp4 format. Also it can record 120 fps QVGA video.

That is something i don't understand with the big brand phones, their low ringtones volume. Because the 50 dollars chinese phones are sooo loud !

5 Mp, wvga video recording for a mid range phone...Samsung is now ahead of Nokia for sure.I guess it is because Samsung makes their own microprocessor, touch screen, camera module
