Im 25 and had this phone for 5 YEARS!! Im a simple guy and this thing has been dropped in water numerous times, dirtbike crashes all the time..still works like its new! Same ol battery, holds a charge for about 2 days..I dread the day I have to upgrade :( ....oh yeah, the speaker is great on it btw, loud and clear.

I had this phone about a year now and I dont have a problem with this except the battery that it doesnt hold a charge for a long period of time. It's good for texting and making calls, but the one love most is the bluetooth that I can get pictures and videos of my friends without them knowing it. :D

my husband and i have this model only my phone had a piece near the joint were its flips cracked and made it very diffacult to hold open and talk sometimes id even loose the call. he then gave me his since i was very famliar with this model and i see a crack in this one too! I really love this model and wish i could locate another hopeing it will last longer !!!!Samsung do you stand behind your merchandise????

i have a unit with this model but i cant even use some of its features like videocalling and using its messenger..it just sucks me a lot coz i paid a lot for its shipment

Your basic free phone: looks nice but not built to last very long. Good for phone calls, and light texting. Camera is nothing special and web access sucks. The hinge wears out and gets loose then it stops working. Mine died after one year of light use. All this is pretty common for cell phones these days.

I hated this phone! Poor battery life and I couldn't hear it ring when I was walking down a street even when the phone's volume was at it's highest level. However, it did take amazing pictures.

I like the phone pretty much. It looks sharp. But I've had two different Bluetooth car units and neither of them worked very well with this phone. Everyone said it sounded like I'm far away and "underwater" (however that sounds!). Can't seem to remedy that problem. I haven't used it for MP3's, and only took a couple photos with it. Basically just want a phone that works and that I can use with the car bluetooth unit without having to lean forward for people to hear me. Kind of defeats the purpose of hands free, cuz it makes for awkward driving.

uhm yeah i like this phone except the bluetooth on mine doesnt work and it doesnt on any other person ive met with this phone (like my boyfriend and a couple friends) and i cant get my mp3 to play which really irritates me.. i cant figure out why it wont i have a memory card.. but otherwise its pretty nice. takes good pics, nice video/pic quality but the ringers could be a lil louder and the vibrating when someones calling or texting not so loud lol

A pretty good phone, decent price, nice design. Holds 500 SMS messages (doesn't use external micro SD card but still a lot of messages and excellent storage space), but very little space for MMS (I don't use it a lot anyway). When the text is too long, it splits the message but still sends to people, it used to bug me but I'm not all that bothered about it anymore. However, when you set it to vibrate and receive a text, it vibrates twice instead of once, that still bugs me a little. However, very nice interface, you can enlargen and shrink SMS text for better viewing, everything's anti-aliased and the 1.3 MP camera is pretty good if you've got a decent hand. Call volume is aaalllright. Not awesome but not bad either. Pretty good phone!

I love this phone!!! I purchased it as a birthday present and it does everything I want it to do and more. The only thing I don't like about it is that the speaker is inside of the phone. If you close it while using the sepaker phone the call will drop and it also contributes to the fact that it doesn't ring that loudly. I like the amount of pictures its holds. I don't know exactly how many but so far there are at least 100 on mine!
