Siemens S45 - User Reviews

  • Had Motorola, Nokia, Samsung , Iphone, BlackBerry (also good) and... Siemens S45 after lost, I bought a DUPLICATE !!! so good ...

  • The first new phone I have ever bought is S45. Good phone but the charging part didn't work well after 3 years.

  • And I AM still using the phone! I've lately changed the screen and presently am looking for a new battery. Anybody know where I could get one?

  • Excellent phone. I used it from 2003 to 2005. One of the best mobile phones I have used.

  • It's my first mobile. I was really satisfied with the features. It's like Siemens knows what I need from a mobile! The arrangement of the abc/space/symbols is just perfect. Loved this phone so much. Used it from 2002-2006. Original battery! If it's not broken helplessly, I would've not changed it with my next one, Samsung X700, which I am not satisfied with. Too bad that Siemens is gone now

  • Hi mike, you seem not to know that Siemens offered a cost free software update some months after launch of the S45, and then you also got an additional SMS storage in the device itself

  • Hi mike, there was a free software-update offered by the manufacturer some months after launch of the S45, and after the update you have additional storage on the device itself.

  • It has speaker.Very loud.When I bought the phone I didn't know that.I found out a few months ago.

  • My first phone. Very fond memories. Beautiful design and easy to use. Brings back many memories.

  • You don't mention that it stores sms on the sim, only.

  • the best phone at that time... a bit complicate but smart... too bad siemens is no longer produce cell phone

  • you know the fone is no bad but battery is not long and i soon buying n 76 nokia and i think still the s 45 is good but it is better new fon

  • mine is still ok now although the battery cover is broken and the silver finish on the power button have faded already.

  • One of the best phones I've ever had (amongst 2 Samsungs, 1 Motorola and 1 Nokia) Too bad siemens quit the mobile department (and now also benq)

  • I got this phone early 2003 and it is still serving me well. The battery is still running on original, although I need to charge it every 2 days. One thing that I didn't like about the phone is it does not have any records as to what time and date, you call someone. Occasionally, it hangs and reset itself.

  • My 1st Siemens phone is S25 and then i change to S35 until I lost it. As my experience with this S45, I have so many satisfaction since i bought it on 2002. Many times droping off from my pocket, but still work fine. Until one day it droping from the 1 meter table while using vibrate, and the phone get error reading the simcard. I'm still using it after some repair. I'm considering to buy S75. But it still out of my budget.

  • i got my s45 same as dave cannons at argos t- mobile 99 & my right side buttons failed eventually but best phone i ever had..loved the way the screen was flush level with ophine and had un limited sms due to you could store them in archive,,

  • I bought an S45 in 2002 on T-mobile PAYG for 99. Got it unlocked so I could use my O2 sim. The only problem has been soft buttons and green call button don't always work otherwise it has been very reliable over the last 3 1/2 years. Still on original battery!!. Only used as a spare now as I have SE K500i for the last year

  • how can i get a tone on my siemens s45

  • when smsing, you cannot seem to choose a number from the address book, only from the phone book. So before I sms anyone I have to copy their number from the address book to the phone book, because I use the address book more than the phone book. that is annoying

  • I got s45 as a present along with user guide in german laguage. I wander if you have it in persian language or not

  • Does ME/S45/i Can be used as GPRS Modem for PC?

  • This may be the first GPRS phone!!! No comment!!! Too good!!! The only thing is dust easily get into its screen and needs cleaning up regularly. Other than that, this is a great one!!! Personally I give this a score 8/10.

  • I have a S45 and I liked the apparel a lot, however it exists some particularities. The profiles of Nokia 8565 are much better. In the 8265 it is possible to link somebody of the calendar to a profile and the a bitmap already in S45 that is not possible. And the battery of hard S45 at the most one week. In comparison with the resources more used S45 is a good apparel.

  • Well, everybody looks happy w/ this phone, I'm not. Before I throw it from my window I let you know that it stopped working twice in the first year, problems with buttons. I can never hear very well, at least my wife's one hundred dollar panasonic sounds much much better. But the best is the software: software synchro w/ a pc (the only reason why I bought this phone) is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in my life and most of all it can freak your phone out: I was trying to load some addresses from Outlook and now I have a non working telephone, I have to go back to the store and pay some money because most of its basic features are gone. Thank you Siemens, you guys be sure next time I won't buy one of your telephone. Adios Very very mad user

  • very best!

  • Well mine S45 passed the 1 year and six months barrier. Got wet, got hit, but it's running. Anyway the next one (if/when this one will die) will be the new SX1.

  • It's the best 2G phone by my opinion. Purple with neon looks awesome!

  • i love this phone!!!

  • Buy S45i !!!

  • hi.... tomorrow i am going 2 buy a mobile... can any body plz help me what should i buy as i am very confused.... tell me plz which 1 is the best... siemens C55 , S45, S45i ,panasonic GD75 or samsun n500

  • it is my great experience

  • Pls help , I can not upgrade firmware to my S45, it appeared " problem " and switched my phone offf. Thanks

  • este super!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ioioioi> best of the best> cool

  • very good phone!!!i'm using this phone for 10 months.the signal-batt-LCD are perfect!!!the menu has everything, the memory is very big(p.g. 500names,300sms,45"voice memo,OR 400names&445sms)the good is that memory is completely flexible,if u like can store only sms(580sms).Organizer is v.good but memory is only 50notes&10tasks,but u can synhronize with outlook easy &quickly(so the memory is ok).voice functions are huge, handset,GPRS,stopwatch,EMS.Olso it is very depentable,no bags.THE PERGECT PROFESSIONAL PHONE.

  • I had this phone for about 1 month,it s a good phone by my opinion, but that yellow stupid light that siemens have is very ugly.I gived the phone away for a 6310i,which i gived away to now becouse:the phone is good but the case it s weak. Now i want to buy a 6250 which i think is the best phone ever made.

  • It's LOTS better than Panasonic GD50 (my previous phone), that's for sure :) Lots of functions for reasonable price. Games are really crappy and menu could be better organised - but I suppose once you get used to it it's ok. Really large display for such a small phone. It also has the best composer I've ever seen. And GPRS which I don't need right now, but maybe in the future it'll come in handy. The adress book is also great. I just wonder - why would Siemens release two phones (S45 & ME45) which both have identical functions (but ME45 has shock-resistant cover)?

  • i like Siemens S45 because i want to know about GPRS, but i don't know how to make my Siemens S45 like a modem. maybe i can have any information about that. thank's a lot

  • I like the letters are biger than "Big letters".

  • Great phone - hardly anything better on the market. Menus could be better organised-unusual for a German device to be illogical. Games are crap. Really crap. Even C35 games are better. User-defineable call groups would be nice, or at least a few more. Excellent composer - the best. Loaded with more features than just about every other phone on the market. Bit slippy and hard to hold onto, but who cares, it's gorgeous! It's like a jewel - very easy on the eye! MMC would have been nice (like the SL45) but the S45 has GPRS which SL45 doesn't. Important inclusion. Unbelieveable value for money - menus bit tricky for some people. Very hard to get hold of - Siemens didn't make enough to cope with demand and I guess they'll be focussing now on the S55.

  • Hello! have this phone and free wap but i don't know how to connect with it on the internet from the phone. Any sugestion (please mail me)

  • S45i has pop3 client and how writes siemens "faster synchronization of addresses and datas". does it mean that S45 data sychronization is very slow? are there any more diferences between S45 & S45i?

  • Hi All... Does this phone have a Built-in handsfree speaker ? Thanx Ehab Elgawady Cairo,EGYPT

  • best phone I've ever had, and I've had lots... realistically, there is nothing lacking in this phone that you need... it does everything perfectly

  • I have had it for 3 days after having 6310i. It is much better than 6310i. I cannot believe that there are people who compare 3330 and a gprs phone. They are not even in the same category. If 3330 is enough for you, then stay away from this phone. S45 deserves positive opinions. I recommend the "saphire blue" one. It is beautiful. I don't want to tell about technical aspects because there are many.

  • I have owned the S45 for about 5 months and Siemens has replaced it 3 times, each new handset have the same problem as the previous handset had. I have had, 5110, 8210, 3330. And by far the 3330 has been the best fone i have ever had. The 5110 is a great fone due to the great battery and talk time, but because of the weight and the lack of features I upgraded to the 8210 which was by far the second biggest mistake, i dropped it one day and the screen broke, had to sent away for 3 weeks nokia to repair it. But when I bought the Nokia 3330 and everything worked from day one, I was very happy with nokia again, but after having it for the short period of 4 months I noticed that it was as unique or small as when I first bought it, so I upgraded to the dreaded Siemens S45. I find the interface hard to use and adjust to, settings hidden away in menus you wouldn't expect to find them in. I will never have another Siemens again. I thought I was buying a piece of quality german equipment.

  • I bought the S45 last September 2001. I think I will be still be using it for the next two years until 3G phones and colored ones become stable. The S45 is a very reliable and useful gadget. It will knock down any new phone released in the market by other manufacturers. I like the flexible memory.

  • well what i see about the S45 is that, the S45 is one of the best phone i'll love to use because it's so lovely and very handy. presently i use C35i and i look forward to own a S45.

  • a really great mobille phone if you upgrade it.

  • Plz mail me rates of ur mobile

  • I have it, it's realy a very good phone, i love it and i'm addicted to him. Thanks keep on good work.

  • This is simply the poorest fone I've ever had the misfortune to use. I'm off to upgrade to a Panasonic GD67 for 20 quid from Vodafone.

  • extra

  • Well, I'm very happy with this phone. Actually, it's the best I ever had :) Apart from the phone itself and a few accessories, it's packed together with a data cable and a CD-ROM with drivers. You can even synchronize your contacts with Outlook XP. Additional software for managing your contacts, schedule, memos, ... can be downloaded for free at Siemens. Also, upgrade to the new firmware. GPRS is more stable and you get a new game :p

  • What`s with the shitty yellow light ???? Can`t siemens make any other light colour ???

  • its a great phone..really very nice..better than nokia..the feature oso many too.

  • I love the S45 phone and i want to know the mode of purchase. I'm from Nigeria, wanting to have one.

  • This is one of the most beautiful phones ever made!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! I just wanna know is the vibrations week as the older siemens' (i have been using M35 and the only thing i hate about it is the week vibration)

  • This is a great little phone however the only problem with it is the lack of interesting games.

  • Superb phone! @moua YES, Datacable is included.. Free ringtones, logos, screensavers and discouss forum for help and discussing siemens mobiles.

  • The difference is about 4 minutes of call in good conditions, no really differences between 850 and 840 mha... Question : is there a datacable WHITH the phone ? [moua]

  • What's the different between Li-Ion 850 mAh, and Li-Ion 840 mAh??? I bought S45 in Indonesia and got 840 mAh.

  • I am pretty looking forward to buy the S45, just that the fact that Nokia being so famous around the community acts as a downfall and also those changeable front panels that are available on NOKIAs that is not on the S45. Wonder if there is anything else I should know about this phone apart from the charger plug being different in European models to Australian ones.

  • May i know how much is s45 in Malaysia now? please email me if U know..thanks alot..

  • Does S45 have logos and screen savers?! I really don't know??? Please tell me! just ME45 has?

  • Hello guys, I have read all your raves about the Siemens S45 phone. I am currently a Nokia user and it might be hard to adjust to another phone. How can you make me buy one? Help! Does the phone move slow when too much messages arrive? Thank you for your time. You may Email me also :)

  • im using the s45 for 2 months.it is a great gsm, very good batt.,the LCDis perfect and the signal much better than any Nokia. The menu has everything, exept bugs!!!try the 21 version.flex memory is about 350kb which is realy big, because there is no mp3.i worry only about the color of the navykey

  • How much does it cost in Malaysia now? i mean the superb siemens s45...thanks!

  • A high end phone, really neat.. i'm the proud owner of a silver version, and i must say: never nokia again! i've had the 6210,8210, 8310,6510, but siemens rules!

  • I've got a siemens s45 and I think that is a very great mobile phone and if some people would like to buy it, this is a very good select. I use my mobile a lot of time and it has got a lithium battery very good.

  • hello... uncheck the silent alert in audio. this is a great phone with good batery life and good reception. this phone is much better than ericsson t39m.

  • Please could someone tell me how to de-activate the vibrate alert from incoming call's and SMS Many Thanks

  • I have been using the S45(or 6618 in Asia) for almost 1 month. This is the best phone I have ever used!!! Tons of great features/functions....is one of the best value phone u can get in the market!! The price has dropped to about RM750-00 in Malaysia (approx. US 1 = RM3-80)...there are plenty of logos(gif or bmp files) and also ringtones(midi files) just check out www.club-siemens.com or in Chinese.... www.mobilediyer.com or www.m-siemens.com.tw

  • Its a great phone. I bought mine last week and its impressive. Its packed with cool features! Great amber backlight, organizer, and has a flexible memory to store your messages, bitmaps and ringtones!

  • if y r using s45 please tell me aboyt the keyboart

  • it's a beautiful handset!!!!

  • tell me from where can i download melody for siemens s 45?

  • That SoftwareUpdate works just GREAT! It solves even that stupid calendar bug. USE IT NOW! :)

  • i wont that software siemens s45 please I am sorry I dont not speak good engelisch good bay

  • I have a s45 mobile phone, i have a lot of dust on and in mij phone. thats the only thing that is wrong at mij phone. The s45 is a good phone. Thanks Jan-Geert.

  • Is there a software upgrade to convert S45 to S45i???

  • The software seems to do the following: Full GPRS Class 8 support – 57,6kBit/sec, also via infrared (IrDA); Full EMS* support with up to 760 characters, pictures and sounds; Kung Fu by Battlemail™; MS Outlook™ data synchronization via infrared (IrDA).Maybe it will solve that April BUG.

  • IMPORTANT! New Firmaware update for free for S45 and ME45. You can download the instalation program from this link: . If anyone use it please tell me about the result.

  • The April bug is flooding Siemens Customer Service with handys here in Portugal...The average time for a firmware upgrade rose from 1 hour to 1 or even 2 days! Nevertheless, the price of this phone has dropped to about €310 when it was priced at €375 in the first place

  • Hello...I really love the S45...is a great phone....with only minor problems...the ringtones is quite soft...and I am having difficulty getting the case for my S45...I guess the accessories(non-original) for S45 is quite limited and expensive too!!

  • I bought the phone recently....is a great phone with so many impressive features except that the ringing tones a bit soft.

  • Major PLUS: Siemens is the only manufacturer that encourages the "self upgrading" by consumers, posting the latest firmware version on www.my-siemens.com Nasty...

  • s45 called "6618" in China, and in my 6618, it have T9 english&chinese input.and with an english-chinese dictionary. that's great. BTW, u can make .wml format docs to be read on s45.

  • Just bought the S45...is USD211 in Kuala Lumpur....I am having problem to transfer the Midi files as ringer tones to my phone..Can anyone help me on how to transfer the ringtones/midi files to the phone? Do we need to buy or download any softwares to do that ? Thanks regards

  • Is a great phone packed with advanced features....but the problems i.e. ringtones too soft, the vibration is weak, and the user interface not easy to use!

  • i wish i can own such a good phone. I have the c25 but would like to use this typr too

  • This phone is amazing... I am sooo impressed with all the features... jam packed with fantastic features!!! love the handsfree feature... its a shame u cant anwser the phone with the handsfree on immediately... gotta be one of the best phones on the market...really happy with it... u cant go wrong!!!

  • Good phone with useful features ! But a bit bulky. Fonts too thin.

  • Plus: it has the best quality/price ratio available for its market segment!

  • I'm still stunned with this beauty! I've been a Nokia user for about three years and once I've tried this phone I've been a Siemens fan and I truly recommend it! It has lots of features that you can't imagine! Nad the "mobile fun" capabilities are huge! Never had that much fun with a phone! I'd rate it 9 out of 10 because it has a flaw: no date/hour available for the outgoing calls :-(

  • not bad

  • The best phone that I ever had

  • I own both S45 and ME45 because I like the feature and I also like outdor activities. I am satisfied with these phone, which are actualy similar to each other. I have never been this happy since I used celullar phone in 1996. I have tried many cellular make, but I think I like Siemens the best. The reasons being its longlasting battery and large screen. Now plus its feature such as GPRS and large internal storage capacity.

  • PS: I forgot to mention that one's a lot luckier if living in Germany, as seemingly they have three testicles, are wiser and have better customer service at Siemens :p...Talk about favoritism! - U must understand that it is quite frustrating to pay 300$ for something and the have to piddle around with it to make it work...that's why I'm sayin' all this.

  • Yup, the 14 SW version (or 5. for the asian market) fixes it allright, along with some other minor glitches, but I've got some bad news about the "on-line update" ideea: it can't be done - and the SW is already available! U have to go to a Siemens service center, bring some papers with u, to prove u bought it (that's such a load of shit!Bought it or not, it's their product and they should fix it, damn it!), leave it there for 1 to 5 days(!), although some people-mostly cute girls;)-reported that theirs was fixed in 1h... Add to this the keyboard that will start peeling off (remember S35i...?) and there u have it! Good intentions, Siemens says...well the way to hell is paved with good intentions!

  • To A good fella... Thanks for warning me about the bug. I've got a bigger surprise for you; it's happening all over the month april, if you take the first day untill the last one, the bug is still there. Check this out, and sent a message back to confirm it.... see you.

  • To good-fella: the hang-up bug is now fixed with software version 14 that will be online on siemens.com real soon...

  • Here's a little task for the S45 owners! It has sort of a Kinder-Surprise result, but u'll thank me in the end! Now, go to the time settings and set your date to...april, 14. Then go to the calendar start it! Surpise!!! I'm waiting for your comments!

  • great phone, but beware ther are some with software problems as mine has lots of bugs, as its one of the 1st batch that came out. But have to say siemens are very helpful as they are sending a courier with another one to replace it for me. All in all better customer service that you recieve from nokia!

  • When in a poor reception area, the phone shows 'network search'. On two occassions, this went on for about 10 - 15 minutes without being able to display the network. However, this problem is overcome by switching off and on again the handphone. Problem is how to keep track that your phone is on network search.

  • Difficulty in reading sms text due to thin font and display amber colour not bright enough. Handsfree speaker not as good as Alcatel 511. Reception quality not loud enough.

  • hele goeie telefoon zou hem voor geen goud meer willen missen

  • Hello How Are You I Am Tinzee From Pakistan Can You Send Me Siemens (s45) I Am Waiting You Mail

  • This is the only competitor to Ericsson T65, the only difference is that Siemens is 150 more.

  • not bad

  • beautiful handset, excellnet quality compared to Nokia handsets. Dreadfull sofware that does work properley with the PC and the MP3 file transfer. What's the point of having an MP3 player when you need to go to hell and back to make it work? Need a much user friendlier sofware.

  • it's there some software for upgrade my version of s45 cose on my ver. (v.07) got only 2 games ?!

  • Hi, Handset looks good and packed with lot o f features. Can you tell me the price of this in Indian Rs. regards

  • Following my last opinion, Now i have problem with my S45. The colour of my S45 becomes defected (i'm not using the leather casing), however i just bought it two months ago. Could i have any suggestion from this forum?

  • I have just bought the S45 and think that it is a brilliant phone. Although in the review I have just read it said that there are 6 games. As far as I can see there are only 2. Anybody got more on theres?

  • Like it a lot, but it seems to be a little fragile, and there's a rumor about some soft bugs at the first released handsets!?!?!?

  • I proud belongs to S45 as a hitech handphone with the cheaper than the likes. But i have a question, why my s45 only have 3 games not 6 as mentioned in your specification ?

  • Hello Please send me the specs. for the GPRS data of S45 mobile. It will be appreciated if you mention the data rate as well as TS available for the uplink and downlink. regards, Deepak

  • For serious texters, the GD75 has an array of excellent SMS functions, such as SMS Chat. By entering the phone number of the 'buddy' you want to chat with and giving yourself a user name you can send SMS messages to and fro, without continuously keying in your 'buddy's' phone number. If you've got more to say, there is also the facility to send a longer text message by connecting three SMS messages together. Got some gossip or some exciting news you're desperate to tell all of your friends at the same time? Use the SMS Group Sending** facility and send everyone the same text message - an ideal way to organise a night out or let everyone know what you've been up to. If you need to get your message across really quickly the T9 Text Input function will help you key in your message more speedily.

  • @Unknown: Hm, does really look good... What do you mean with "new SMS options" ?

  • the photo of the gd75 that gsmarena.com shows is not the right one see the real look of panasonic gd75 in this site :http://www.worldgsm.org/pan_gd75_ph.shtml

  • thnx but i prefer panasonic softawares : it can record ringing tones , it has 5 backlight screen , it has an alarm but turning your phone on/off ! 6lines screen , joystick , new sms options ...

  • @Unknown: You know that you can also download pictures and screen savers and with flexible memory you'd have lots of space to save them. Or try C45 it has no flex memory but you can change cover like the Nokia handies .........

  • ok but flexible memory is good for business men , for people who need lots of space to put enough e-mail adresses or phone nubers for the people who does'nt need much (teenagers like me , i am 16) panasonic is an ideal phone for an ideal price which is going to be between the price of panasonic gd35 and the one of panasonic gd95 so i can say that isn't expensive a lot compared to a nokia ... i'll say that siemens is good for workers and the designs are not extrordinary i just like the siemens s45 with the blue backlight you can see it in this page :

  • Mhh, I found out that for me in Austria it is 3 times higher than a SMS. Okay, this is an argument. And I also noticed that S45 doesn't have all EMS functions implemented :-(. But I still think S45 is better than GD75 because it has flex memory where you can decide for which function to use it.

  • you know ems is six times more expensive than a normal sms if you knew that you'll not say that i mean fore this price anybody is going to use ems

  • @Unknown: Why do you ask this on the S45 page ? Anyway: Panasonic GD75 shouldn't be compared with S45, more with C45. Although GD75 doesn't seem to be a "looser" I miss 2 features: GPRS and EMS. EMS will be important in the nearer future so I wouldn't recommend GD75....

  • what do you all think about panasonicgd 75

  • TOP

Please help me!!! Alvast bedankt!!

  • As far as I know - and I've looked into the matter - any problems with the S45 have now been resolved. It's a great little phone and I recommend anyone to buy it - unless they are happy to wait for the Ericsson T68.

  • Hello, i`m interested on buying the new S45, but I heard that the integred antena and the receiver doesn`t work well I would like to know if this statements are correct or not, because when the S35 arrived people were saying the same things, but I was impressed, because the receiver and the phone were working with no problems. Can any new owner of the S45 help me, thanks.

  • do Erik or anybody else who could test new S45 or even ME45 experienced same softwares bugs like the SL45 used to do? is it already a 'stable' phone? can users post the good and bad points after having using it a while? thanks

  • please send me more information about siemens S45

  • Hmm yeah SL45 has MP3, like 5 minutes of it, plus it drains your battery, and the SL45 has an ugly antenna. Something that Ericsson has also yet to learn to remove... I bought an S45 3 days ago and I love it, you get a datacable so no more searching the web for ringtones or logo's. I used to be a real Nokia-fan; but eversince everyone is buying a Nokia here in Holland there are 2 reasons for me not to: 1. everybody has the same phone after a while 2. nokia is charging absolutely rediculous prices for it's phones. Take the 8310 for example. Around here it will cost 600 Euro, and whatfor? An FM Radio? hahaha; nokia think they're funny right?

  • scrap this phone, the sl45 has eveything this has and a mp3 player + its more attractive.... who cares about gprs...

  • And by the way, S45 HAS indeed been released, available at least in Sweden and Denmark.

  • Battery times are incorrect on this site, actually they are like following: ME45: Stand-by time (with standard battery)60-300 hrs, Talk time (with standard battery) 100-300 min S45: Stand-by time (with standard battery) up to 300 h, Talk time (with standard battery) up to 6 h Also, S45 supports picture messaging while ME45 doesn't.

  • Could you tell me when the siemens S45 will be alivable and how much it will cost

  • S45 is good (as I have tried it in an Expo) but ME45 has all functions of S45 as well as more sturdy (shock resistant and dust-proof)AND BULKY. Are these 2 phones just designed for 2 different kind of people or ME45 is an improvement of S45? Hard to say...They have different ancestors but is now merging.

  • Great looking phone with many good features. Tri-band capability would definitely make this phone perfect. It's due for release around August, so hopefully some enhancements will have been made by then. Could the guy who complained about the low sound of the speaker explain where he got access to the handset, as it hasn't been released yet?

  • The Siemens S45 is an incredibly complete phone. Besides it has a beautiful design. It also is very light and very small. In short: the ultimate!!!

  • Room for improvement: Tri-band, more entries for agenda. Pros: Dictionary, Syn with Outlook Cons: Speaker not loud enough

  • hehehe kakva li e tsenata

  • Please, inform us about price, russian text on the siemens S45

  • wat is 'bluetooth',anyone with info please help :)

  • Thomas: Do you actually have the S45? Where in the world is it available right now? Also, this is NOT the follow-up to SL45 - doublecheck the name. Siemens has the SL line of phones (I believe only one phone in that line right now, the SL45), and the S line of phones (S25, S35, and now S45). It makes sense that it does not come with the MP3 player, since it's not a follow-up to SL45 (I checked this from Siemens technical support myself, so it's a fact :). Lim Meng Shi: How come can't the S45 be cheaper than the SL45? The S45 does NOT come with an MP3 player, nor does it have a MMC slot (which the SL45 uses for MP3 file storage, among other things). These two items alone drop the production costs a LOT. Therefore, from a production cost point of view, the S45 MIGHT be cheaper than the SL45. And once again, the S45 is not a follow-up to SL45. It's a follow-up to S35, which wasn't an expensive phone to begin with. Most likely the S45 will be priced between S35 and SL45. wksoo: S45 does not have an MP3 player.

  • How come the SL45 have an mp3 player and the follow-up hasnt. Weird... Otherwhise great design and about time to loose the antenna. I dont like the buttons. They get pretty bad after a while. Dont know if you can change or what but incredible with all the functions on this litle beauty :-)

  • I think that the S45 is a great phone and am condiering buying one in the near future. I already own a C35i and am impressed with it. But how much does the S45 cost?

  • Who know where I can find it's manual

  • Impressive, but still not at par with Nokia.

  • Hmmm. No built-in Bluetooth and given the price of the SL-45, this will not be cheap. Wait for the next model upgrade with Bluetooth or for the first time, I think the Ericsson T68 actually is a better phone if they price it right.

  • telefon siemen ni kalau kena air nanti dia keras... tu yang susah tu

  • hello, is the s45 got mp3 player??please email to me thanks.

  • hello, any guy who using the siemens sl 45 phone, please let me know how is the phone work.is the mp3 player ok??
