A girlfriend ten years ago had one of these. Battery life was crazy awesome (2 weeks) and it was a featherweight compared to my Nokia at the time (battery life of 2 days tops and much heavier). I have a company HTC Snap now and if I could find one of these, I'd switch in a heartbeat (the HTC's probably heavier, and its battery still only lasts for 2 days. I don't need its camera or smart phone features for private use).

It is a first mobile phone of my wife.Y buyed in nov. 2003...memorabil date!It was a very good phone!After the buy date , not long period accidentally the phone fall into a a big bucket,which contain glue.The phone suffered major injury of the plastic cover, melted in 70-75% and the speaker was distroyed.Remake the coverage with an brand new , and get a new speaker in the service.Not too expensive a phone worked perfect.

I had this phone for 7 months. I would have had it longer, but I accidently had it in my pants when I put them in my washingmachine and drier. It didn't work after that... But I liked it very much. easy to use, and cute too.

Actually, it is a very good & robust model. But the problem is, the battery terminal was placed at the wrong place, that is the bottom part of the battery. I dropped it terribly a few times, so, the battery started to loose connection with the main-board's terminal & it started to power-off itself. Anyway, it was a good model. Simple with great preloaded games.

Cheap standard-phone. Had a blue, and later on borrowed a black one from my father. Pretty nice and easy to write sms�s at! No colour makes it dull. Still a Ericsson phone, it felt like... One good thing was a picture avaible in the phone. A photo of a "thinking man". Looked like me, I heard from people! That�s nice cause this cellie misses camera-function (who needs a camera when there already is a picture of you in it!).

This phone is a good phone, i rate it. thas my 2nd phone and i do still use it up to this time. sometimes it says insert sim but apart from that, it's good. get signal anywhere, very tough to withstand drops etc. but now some of the buttons stop working.

Hi. I've been using this set since I think 2 or perhaps 3 years ago. It's still ok to use but sometimes it displays "insert sim" or "wrong pin" even when I keyed in the correct digit. Battery can lasts about 2-3 days for normal usage. But idle time & LED switched off it can last until 5/6 days straight. I'm planning to get a new set

P S to what I wrote earlier.... try cleaning the terminals of the sim card and in the phone itself using an eraser. this seems to increase sensitivity.

I have this phone for almost 3 years know, and I had a couple of problems with it. In 2003, I used the phone for 2 moths, afterwich I went on a three months hollyday, and I left the phone at home. It proved to be a big mistake because when I came back I couldn't recharge the phone. First I thought it was the battery, but it turn out that some circuits in the phone gave out. The second problem that I still have with the phone is that I have a very week signal and no signal at all in the house. Maybe this phone was't intended to work for so long. The time has come to change this phone.

I had gone through 3 of these phone in one year. First the phonebook messed up, and slowly deleting my entries. Second and third one, the reception stopped working after i dropped it once each, mind you i dropped them at jeans pocket height. i kept having to get replacments until me 1yr warranty ran out.

I'm also facing the same problem. My phone was working fine for two years. Then out of no where, the phone started giving me trouble with its battery....even when the battery is full...i am not able to talk for more than 5 mins at a stretch. It shows low battery and the phone switches off....very annoying. Does anyone know why?

this phone is great for 1-2 years. i have this problem, which 4 friends of mine also had, that the phone, even when the batt is full, says "low batt". and it turns off! this is really annoying... and i dont know, it gets much the noise of the place you are at. sometimes is impossible to hear the other person when you're at the mall, for example.

T200 is a small, cheap phone of Sony-Ericsson. It looks like a toy with plastic cover. A bad thing is the battery plastic cover, it gives the feeling that you are holding a toy, not a phone. It is also difficult to find its ringtone in the Ericsson website, its built-in ringtones are boring and poor. I think T200 is OK phone for those who want it to be just a communication device.

Menu is slow. T9 sms can't keep up with me, and I'm not a person who can write text messages very fast. The display (backlight) has dark spots/areas. The phones makes a lot of noise just by pressing the buttons. The battery indicator in inaccurate. After two seconds the first bar is gone. The last one however last a day. And the phone will beep that's it's empty for another 1,5 days. You can easily still use it then. I did send it back but Sony Ericsson said that there was nothing wrong with it. Besides these things the phone has been reliable to me. Good reception and hardly any bugs. stanby time is 4 days till it's starts beeping and 1.5 days during beeping when you can still use it if you have to.

Hello! I'm in a quite big dilemma. I really don't know wich phone to buy. The Motorola C333 or the Sony Ericsson T200. I really like the design of the C333, also the SE T200's. I have had a Ericsson A2628, the messaging sucked, it takes a lot of time to compose a SMS, and i'm afraid that the T200 has the same problems. On the other hand i�ve read many disappoints with the C333's battery. Can anyone tell me wich phone i should buy, wich is the best investment? CRISTI my opinion is that the nokia 8910i is not stupid ok maybee for u it is because u probaly cannot afford one but anyway, the nokia 3650 obviously doesent have a touchscreen like P800 so what???? and also nokia 3650 uses a mmc card so its universally compatible unlike P800 which has a stick which is only used by sony! then theres the price im talking about �300 pounds cheaper than the P800 which suits me cos then i can go and buy a nokia 6100 aswell as nokia 3650! once again NOKIA RULLEESSS!!!!

Hello cristi greets, i couldent help but notice ur post on the T200 but i have to disagree with u on some points, what is the point of having a picture phone if it doesent have a colour screen, and on that note nokia made sure by testing their colour screens carefully and also have a better resolution! and another thing i have allready sold my 8910i on ebay and got �600 for it so i mean i will buy this phone to try it but i honestly need a phone that has business and pleasure mixed in i.e im getting the NOKIA 3650 ohh yes the phone that will knock the P800 out of the market simply because of the prices of the products! im sorry but NOKIA RULZZZZZZ

3510 is cheaper and much better.It has poly sounds,changeble covers and better games,for wich you can take new levels and you can recive MMS mesages,and the best stuf is becouse evryone has or Nokia,or Samsung so you can recive picture mesages from many more GSM users than with T200.With T200 you can't do any of this things.

I wanted to buy this phone, and now i'm happy i didn't. This cell doesn't show caller's number unless it is memorized in phone memory, which can store only 100 numbers. Even if you have number memorized on your sim, you will not be able to see it, if that person calls you. Not good.

The T200 is the best-buy of it's class. Based on T65 (with all the major bugs fixed), it is the best Sony-Ericsson phone so far. The only two things I dislike: no voice calling & no poly sound. Otherwise, it is much better than Siemens S45, Nokia 3510, Ericsson R600 or Sony CMD J7

T200 is an overall phone with my tests; Good Features; -Nice Backlight -3 Band -Good Resolution -Nice Design -Battery capacity Bad Features; -No Voice Dialing & Answering!! -No Code Memo -No Division of Numbers as Mobile,Work etc. -No Picture Editor -Overall melodies Anyway...If we compare t65,r600 and t200 t65 is the best, t200 is the 2nd and r600 is the 3rd.

Mine is not an opinion but rather a question.I am trying to change from ericsson R320s to sony-ericsson T-200. In Uganda we got lots of forests, where i once went camping but there was absolutely no network. One thing i find in difference is that the R320s is a dual band whereas the T200 sonyericsson is a tripple band. So if i bought the T-200 will i have effective network coverage? Please reply before i buy one. thanks in advance.

Very good phone. A lot of settings. I must remark that in the description of gsmarena is write just 20% of what the phone can do. Good display with the blue light and the numbers you can see them very good in the night. Sony Ericsson is the best. When I decided to buy a new phone I was thinking to buy an nokia 8310 but with a price almost double and with less settings I am shore that t200 is the best choice. Nokia was the best but now Sony Ericsson rules.

the only problem that i ahve with the t200is that it dont show how to compose a ringtone for instance when i pressthe number sign i dont see anything and like i want the letter Fwhich is on the number 3 key i get a different letter and when finish composeing it is totally not what i want so i dont know if you can give me some infomation on that i am a new user.thank you.

Its a honest fone & its good value for money & I just I want to say that it is not a girly fone...Just don't give a verdict blindly....try it once & you will just fall in love with it... But only the down side of this fone is that it has very limited ringer tones.

I bought T200 in mid August 2002. I must admit it looks really nice; it’s small and fits your hand very well. Although I’m a male user and my hand is quite big, it doesn’t take a long time to get use to the small buttons. After a while I don’t thing anyone will have problems in using the simple navigation in the menu. The blue backlight cannot be seen during a day light, nighttime it’s very clear and looks good. The phone have good number of useful functions, but nothing fancy. The only problem the phone has is with the loudness of the rings. The sound is sometimes not loud enough to be heard. The battery life gets better and better after couple of weeks of usage. The battery lasts me about 4 days with about 3 hours of calls and I don’t live in an area with the strongest signal. It’s a good budget phone with a great design, performs reasonably well and has functions anyone needs. Good buy!
