All was fine until the battery had to be replaced out of warranty, then Jesus, you find the "integral" battery is glued in. I kid you not. Ever since Sony replaced the battery and charged through the nose for it, it has never been the same.

Next month February 2017 will be one year since I started using my xperia T Lt30p. I am extremely satisfied with it. A great phone I must say. Because of this I will not try other phones yet but since I intend to upgrade I plan for xperia Z5 premium E6853. Does anyone know any issues regarding premium Z5? I expect wonders from it since it's such a jump of improvement on James Bond xperia T.

I want to appreciate that my Xperia T Lt30p has served me well for the last four months or so. I think the hitches I had with it immediately I bought it were a fault difficult to establish it's origin. It could have been a handset fault right from factory or a result of a drop by the vendor while handling it. I bought it from display in a Nairobi shop since it was the only one in stock. I suspect it had fallen several times while on display. However am thankful Sony fixed it for me on warranty. Twice they did so and now the phone is excellent.

I had this superb smartphone for about 18 month and it was excellent , when I upgraded to 4.3 the phone became much better, I never faced any problem with it and by 4.3 update the overheating problem decreased and games were smoother,I still miss it.

It is a good phone in my opinion if you are on a budget and want a cheap phone. It is from 2012, so it will be slower than new phones in 2016 by comparison. It is good for calling, texting, and has a great 13 megapixel camera with 16 gigabytes of internal storage. Just don't expect to play high definition games or anything of that sort since it is old.

I have only had this phone for 2 years now and the volume and power buttons are all messed up. I can't stop the volume from turning all the way up by itself. When I push the power button it doesn't shut off the screen. I have also had previous issues with my sim card falling out (loose circuits).

You can get the Sony Xperia T (the James Bond Phone) for under $150 on Amazon. For that price it is a very good deal for what you get (when I got my Xperia T in spring of 2015 it was about $175). The phone will be slower than today's newest phones (galaxy s6, etc.) since it has a 1.5 dual core CPU, 1 GB of RAM, and came out in 2012. But it does has a great 13 mp camera with 1080 p video recording and 16 GB or internal storage (and up to 32 GB with an external micro SD card). I hope this helps you out! Just changing my xperia t after 3 years of heavy use for a Z5 compact (which i am dubious about). I loved this phone. The camera is great i think it a lot better that the Z3 compact, low light pic have a lot less noise and the zoom is cleaner. i use my camera a lot as i have running blogs that post from in various light conditions. i returned my Z3 because of overheating and the camera wasn't as good as the trusty T..lots of megapixels don't mean great photos!! i would not hesitate in buying another if it had a Quad core.. but for me its just got a little too slow on the internet because of its age. but that aside its a great phone and well worth the money if you need a cheapy to get you by or arnt bothered about the latest tech.

You guys can think it should be updated all you like.... Fact is its an old phone so Sony no longer supports it meaning no updates. Also with the stagefright bug/flaw in Android it means the xperia T along with many other old androids is vulnerable to malware.

Here I am again reviewing this phone, and after saying that its superb, im here to take that back, I mean the phone is beautiful the screen is beautiful, the quality of the screen is beautiful, even the battery doesn't bother me at all,but I was fooled by the so proclaimed so called 13 mp camera, it's not even that close the 13 mp, it takes pretty good shots at night at home, or at night outside from a short distance,takes good pics of close objects with the focus mode, but taking a pic of a landscape or something, very disappointing, and when you zoom, even more disappointing, even when I took a picture of myself outside from around two feet away, my face was 100% unclear and washed out, I mean there are other phones with a 13 mp and the quality is much better, seriously even the image of the Samsung s6 is better than the one of the Xperia z3, lost faith in Sony, Never buying a Sony product again.

I have a sony experia T for a couple of years. Phone was ok at the start but now it closes down for no reason. This can happen while you are on the phone or when it is in your pocket. The phone suddenly shuts down then restarts, this operation can take over a minute and can re happen two minutes later. As a result of this and the fact that there are other people with similar issues, I would not recommend this phone to anyone.

Have had my Xperia T for over 2 and a half years now. In recent times I have had the phone getting quite hot, not something which occurred when first bought. I use an app CM Cleaner to reduce the heat by closing programmes\services. The Data option for accessing the internet can cause the heat to increase. Always had the H option when accessing internet through Data and only changes in poor coverage. I would suggest where only "E" is available perhaps there is a problem with the sim card and that the sim needs to be replaced. I have found the phone can lag at times but once again this may be due to its age. In general found it a very good phone. Battery does only last a day but I have either the Data or WIFI running all day. Facebook and games can reduce the battery quite quickly but the use of Stamina mode can help keep the phone charged longer. It does have occasional lagging these days. A bug bearer is the splitting of the internal memory as the T has only 2GBs are available when first installing apps. If the full hard drive was left available as is in the Z3 then it would take alot more apps. The interface I find very easy to use and is quite easy on the eye. Sometimes (once again in the last few months) I have had issues with turning on the screen from sleep. I have to press the power button a number times but this could be the age of the unit. All in all this phone has served me well. Definitely one of the best options at its time of release. Good clear screen, videos play very well on it, camera quite good though perhaps not as clear at times as an iPhone 4S. It has survived many a fall and has not scratched even with the screen protector off. I would like the speaker to be louder but thats the last a small inconvenience.

Xperia T is Crap Phone, If you update to Android 4.3 very bad idea... The phone is not working fine after the update, the battery leak... problem.. You do nothing with your phone and it's drain the battery.. not very good and if you use the phone.. like facebook for 10-15 min the battery drop to 30%... and the phone is very Hot... Scrap phone.. talk to SONY call repair in Dominican Repulic.... Very poor service.. take 4 month to check and repair the phone.. after that.. they change the battery.. but have new problem... when the open the phone the scrap the speaker.. I need to punch the phone to be able to start the speaker.. and I recall.. need to lost my phone again.. for ... months. piece of shi......t

I now have the phone for a year now, reading the reviews below let me questions about the actual truthfulness of these spamming reviews. My phone never over heats or restart itself, the battery last me 2 days with regular use. There are reviews below saying have to change battery twice a day, but excuse me, xperia T's battery is unchangeable. I dont know if spamming bad comments around the phone get you paid. But speaking from my experience, xperia T is a great phone, great camera, runs smooth, I love the phone.

Have you updated the software recently? Try a factory reset or update using pc companion. I got rid of my xperia T on 4.1.2 so I can't comment on 4.3 update but main reason for getting rid was gaming performance on big games was sub par and laggy. Battery was OK ish but needs the right charger otherwise charging can take 3-4 hours.

This phone is absolutely atrocious. This phone seemed good to begin with, good battery life, good space, good camera. 6 months into a 2 year contract, I have to charge my battery twice a day in order for it to last, otherwise it dies entirely. The camera has broken twice and magically repaired itself from "Unavailable". The layout of the phone is very basic, not interesting, very bleak and boring. I managed to download more apps, but only courtesy of the new memory card that I had to buy for it. It is a very delicate phone, and within weeks, my phone had scratches on the screen (I always treat my phone respectfully. Not due to dropping it). Cannot wait to update this phone and I will not be coming back to Sony for a phone again. Period.

The specs on paper sound good, but it is not so great: -Battery is not great, and you'll have to conserve it if you want to last throughout the day -Camera is indeed 12MPx, but in terms of quality, it is not that great. -Consider that RAM memory is not that big, and on Lollipop, I can't run more than two to three memory-intensive apps at the same time. It can't be a annoyance if you are, for example, using Chrome and chatting at the same time. -Display is below-average. Colors are somewhat washed-out, and viewing angles are not great. Overall, it can be considered good mid-range phone (considering it's 2015), and it will serve you good if you know how to use it properly. There is also CM12 available, so yeah, Lollipop is available!

Maybe because you have installed a theme from sony select, They brick your phone, it happened to me aswell, i got scared as shit, Don't worry, Just Install oc companion on your pc, follow the instructions, it'll repair your phone, that'll take up to 15 minutes or more depending on the speed of your Internet, it will be fixed :) but you'll lose your data

LG nexus 4 has a far superior chipset not mention quad core and adreno 320gpu.You would have been better getting the nexus instead. I ditched my xperia T for a nexus 5 and very happy I did. Battery life doesn't bother me as xperia T battery is pathetic anyway.

Well well well, it has been almost 5 months since buying this phone, Sony Xperia T, and what can i say is: It's a nice mid range phone, not the best, not the worst, running android 4.3 jellybean, not getting kitkat which is frustrating and heartbreaking for its users including me, i would appreciate if they change their mind :p it's great and it should run kitkat amazingly, like Lg nexus 4 is almost as old as xperia t and it's getting lollipop! Display is Amazing, Camera after the update got a bit worse, zoom is bad, colors are real but it's not as good as samsung's galaxy s4 camera, video quality is superb, although it suffers while focusing, it lags sometimes due to multi taskling, storage is amazing, 10 GB internal memory, gaming is smooth no lags experienced, battery is not that good, u got 1 day of average use from 100% to 20% , sound is great, calling too, it's fast, and do not install xperia themes from google play because it'll brick your xperia phone and then you'll have to repair it with pc companion, overall, i'm only dissapointed with no kitkat for Xperia T, before buying it , i saw that it's upgradable to kitkat that's why i chose it due to it's low price, but i'm really frustrated now, anyways i love it so much it's the best i've ever had but it's the last time buying xperia phone, changing to Google or Samsung

With the correct charger it takes 2 hours max to charge. If you use other xperia charger like one for live Walkman then it will take over 3hours to fully charge. Multi tasking is a bit pathetic on this phone. Should never have been sold as a flagship device.

Probably the most frustrating phone I`ve ever been locked in a contract with... Battery life too short, charging time too long and to prove the ladies right, cannot multi-task without overheating, so probably the male of the species... In all seriousness, I would not recommend this handset at all and has probably unfairly caused me to lose confidence in Xperias... in fact my back-up samsung Galaxy Ace does a better job with my 16gb memory card !

You should try the upgrade to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean if you haven't done so. This upgrade enhanced battery life and temperature. My Xperia LT30p performs almost like 4.2.2 but less hot, 77F to 82F (25C to 32C) average temp by now. In battery life, it extended about 2 hours based on my regular use (a lot of data navigation in h+, few conversations). Personally, I never rooted the phone to Cyanogen or any other fw.

Tried to solve the problem, changed the battery, it worked for about two weeks, but then the same problem again, it doesn't turn on. So I decided that this was my last phone from sony, because they don't even care about the main problem, overheating and turning itself of. Now people have no reason to buy Xperia T. Xperia Z3 compact has 4.6 inch 720p screen, same size and resolution as Xperia T but far better quality and viewing angles. Z3 camera - 20.7mp vs xperia T 13mp. Adreno 330 gpu over old adreno 225., 2.5ghz snapdragon 801 quad core vs 1.5ghz dual core cpu. Now people have a true replacement for Xperia T if they don't want a 5 inch screen.

Should have been called the Bin phone coz it's rubbish. Even when it was released it was behind the competition. Competion was using new 1.4-1.7ghz quad cores and Sony decided to use 1.5ghz dual core-lol.

Battery is bad for gaming but good for standby and calls. 4.3 update has many bugs but never had a problem with headphones or sound on 4.1.2 update. Camera whilst good is very slow to focus and colours are unnatural. Just try taking a picture of the sky and you will see what I mean. Performance is good but newer gpus are far better - like the adreno 305, 320 and 330. I once thought the adreno 225 was better than the 305 but you can't play asphalt 8 smoothly on Xperia T - you can even on Xperia M which uses adreno 305. I now use Nexus 5 which many say has very bad battery. I can say now that you will get an extra hour or two of gaming on the nexus 5 than you can Xperia T. Yes Xperia T has micro sd but you can't put apps on it. Xperia T is an old phone which was good 2 years ago. Standards are far better now and Xperia T is obsolete - Sony knows this which is why it will not ever get kitkat and is stuck on a bug ridden android 4.3. Sony have ditched this phone so it's about time everyone else did. Rip Xperia T.

This phone is crap however it has a good look. The battery drains fast and the ear piece has a problem. I disconnected my earphones while listening to music and the ear piece stopped working. I tried to reset but still the problem persisted then i tried after several hours and it was working however the sound is pretty bad. You can hardly hear the caller... Its funny that they called it 'the james bond phone'... How stupid.. Waste of money.

Hi, This is my first time using this forum and hope I can get some solution to an issue I'm facing on my xPeria LT30P. My handset is around 7 months old and in excellent condition. However from almost 1st month I have noticed an issue where number "4" get automatically entered when I'm in dial pad. Or the other issue is the phone gets moved from one display to another. Sometime the device has also dialed a couple of numbers automatically. I rarely use this phone (as I have a work phone too) so it has never bothered me much. However has anyone come across such an issue? Is there a solution to this? I tried resetting the phone twice, but nothing has happened. Any help is much appreciated. It's OK but the camera is not good. The ultra pixel camera it uses is a failure even on the newer m8. I suppose if sound is top priority then there isn't really anything that can beat the HTC boom speakers. HTC isn't for me though.

All too true. Very doubtful that this phone will receive 4.4.4. I ditched Sony as they trashed my old live with Walkman with horrid ics update, then I got Xperia T and my network operator ditched the 4.3 update as that was buggy. That was enough for me as Sony couldn't even get 4.3 right which is an old version compared to 4.4. Now I enjoy using a nexus 5, no waiting for Sony to update their phones, no having to deal with botched updates after waiting months for them too. Sony suck and never going back.

I have a sony Xperia T since two years and I'd change it for nothing else ! The quality of pictures is incredible ! With panorama optional you can even take unbelievable views of awsome landscapes ! The walkman system is for me also a good point for xperia because it allow easily playlist to do. The most of all is that he falled on the screen from the roof of my building and nothing happened except a little insignifiant damage on the backside. Literally I love it !

Great phone, great display and great camera. Sound is good. To update use PC Companion or just download threw your phone. If battery is decreasing 1% by each minute, just hard reset the phone. Newest update 4.3 is better, more options and new color on menus. Battery lasting almost 3 days with stamina on and brightness off. Good buy for the money...

Dude no phone will have exact ram as in specs.Phone uses a part for its system and other features.So if it says that you have 1 GB you will have around 800-850mb.

Wait for z2s. It might just be 4.5 inch. I'm enjoying nexus 5 now - camera is actually quite good and fast. OK its not premium build of xperia T but its very light and a pleasure to use. You need patience with the camera. Turn off that superior auto function and adjust settings - its a case of trial and error. Also try installing a new camera app from the play store. For moving images nearly all camera phones can blurr a bit but shouldn't be blurred if image is not moving.

You've answered your own question already. For me its a little laggy on high end games and camera a little slow plus battery could do to be a lot bigger. But if you are not heavy gamer and don't mind charging when you go to bed every night then go for it - you can do a lot worse.

No complains after updating to 4.3. Just relentless. The social camera is the best with all the camera apps and you have 16gb to play hd games. Tried playing nfs most wanted and no heating was expeeianced. Battery backup is impressive too.

While it is IPS like my nexus 5 I have to admit that the xperia T has better blacks and richer colours. The xperia T screen is also brighter than my nexus 5 screen - which in turn is supposed to be better than nexus 4 screen. If you are saving your money for nexus 5 then I would recommend waiting for nexus 6 if it comes at a similar price. That said xperia T was poor in asphalt 8 and I couldn't even play music via walkman or Poweramp while playing the game. It wasn't the screen that was the problem - I think the processor just couldn't handle the high graphics setting. Also noticed when I minimised shadowgun DeadZone and tried running something else then DeadZone would close - poor multitasking. On nexus 5 I played DeadZone on the night, forgot to close it and noticed it was still running the morning after. For anyone who doesn't want to downgrade on camera a little and needs micro SD then nexus is not an option - so I would reccomend going for z1 or if you don't mind sacrificing 0.25 inch of screen then try z1 compact. Z2 is very expensive and the performance increase over the z1 is minimal. Hope this helps people.

Also a new UI and new features makes takes the phone to a whole new level which is great. The camera is super quality. After the 205 latest update the battery seems to be working excellent. Being using the phone for three days without charging with average daily use (20 calls) and average wifi usage. Also there is a noticeable clarity upgrade in the display which is magnificent. Other that its just a bug fixing upadte which doesn't change anything but the above mentioned.

Call quality is excellent on this phone. Loud and clear - never had anyone say they couldn't hear me. Think there is a minor speakerphone bug as sometimes it doesnt work. Build quality is average and my xperia T lost its cosmetic silver effect on the headphones jack and camera. Only things I wish were better are the screen and the battery to be bigger. Screen is bright and clear but is a smudge magnet for fingerprints etc. Speaker is not very loud like many other androids these days.

overall , experia t is good but the most important feature, that is, The Call, makes u pizd. There r times the person Im calling barely hears me even how loud I talk, so I have to hang up and call again and try to shout; secondly, the speaker phone doesnt work. sometimes..anyway im still using it patiently until I get a better phone...I hope this will help u decide

i had xperia mini pro before xperia t, i love them both. sony screen's color to me is always beautiful. just wanted to comment abt the poor viewing angles that some ppl complains abt. it's a feature, not a defect. it's purposely done on most japanese phones, to protect ur privacy in public.

Its not a bad phone - battery let's it down though - Sony upset me too much this time as they ruined my previous phone (live walkman) with a bad update. Xperia T is getting old so I replaced it with nexus 5 for the updates and performance in gaming. I was also nicely surprised that the battery actually lasts longer despite many people complaining about its battery too.

Moto G is not flagship and benchmarks only match the xperia T. If you can afford it get the nexus 5 instead. Motorola is not owned by Google now. Moto G is a downgrade from xperia T.

I didn't really have a problem with xperia T screen but nexus 5 screen is crystal clear and produces some amazing visuals with the help of the adreno 330 GPU. Apparently the adreno 330 has 5 times the performance of the adreno 225 in the xperia T and 1.5 times the performance of the adreno 320 in xperia Z etc.

Xperia T screen is slightly brighter but nexus 5 screen is awesome in viewing angles. Asphalt 8 is terrible in high graphics still due to Gameloft poor optimization. Camera is faster on nexus 5 but I miss the physical camera button. My favourite game is shadowgun dead zone and graphics are vastly improved on nexus 5 - gameplay is smoother too. Xperia T battery standby seems better than nexus 5 BUT - xperia T would last around 2hours 30 mins on DeadZone while nexus 5 you can get around 4hours gameplay. Sound is similar in the speaker - nexus 5 headphone sound is louder but lacks a little bit of the sound quality xperia T has. I have 1.6gb ram available on nexus 5 after processes which is staggering. Nexus 5 is lighter than xperia T and is a joy to use for accelerometer games. Still haven't figured how to sync Facebook contacts yet lol. Notification light is bright too. Xperia T is a good phone but I'm enjoying KitKat 4.4.2 on my nexus too much now to ever go back to Sony.

Updated social camera with camera apps,Sound improved, Battery better,downloadable themes,Stamina mode,Low battery mode,updated album,walkman,movie apps. The changes are good, all that you would want. But performance is poor.Phone is slow,laggy,uses too much ram,heats much quicker, some had flicker issues.

HTC one for performance but xperia T for camera. Htc one has a slightly different ui to other android because it only has 2 buttons instead of the usual 3. Htc one is quad core with adreno 320 graphics while xperia T is dual core with inferior older adreno 225 graphics. Also htc one has stereo boom speakers. My best advice would be to ignore these two phones and go for xperia z2 when it arrives as it has everything - water resistant,stereo speakers, adreno 330 graphics, 20mp camera and 3gb ram ... I could go on. If you want a decent camera get xperia T but if you want better overall performance get the htc.

Got my nexus 5 finally. Sold the xperia T as I'm fed up with buggy updates and waiting an eternity for old software. Battery is similar to xperia t but screen brightness is actually not as bright as xperia t. Graphics are mind blowing though and put xperia t to shame.

Battery performance improved slightly in 4.3. But it never is satisfactory.Still gaming or browsing drains out battery like crazy. you are facing such battery drain recently ?? Mine drained about 50 percent for just half an hour of Asphalt or NFS. This phone is a great one for normal use. But for gaming hmm nexus or SP or Zs are the best choices. Can u suggest one thing ? Yes! It seems my network operator doesnt approve the software - theres a few bugs on the SP update too. My xperia T showing its age now! Played shadowgun deadzone on it last night and battery went from 90% to 7% in just 90minutes - screen brightness was only 30%! It doesnt matter what update you do, the screen is what drains the battery and the XT only has a small battery for its screen size! Update may increase standbytime though! Kitkat is less ram heavy so I dont care for 4.3 update! Like I said before nexus 5 my next phone as I wont have to rely on network operator for update or recieve buggy updates from sony after waiting months! I kept my live walkman but will be glad to see the back of xperia T!

Xperia Z looks nice but has very low speaker volume, some face glass cracking issue, uses old s4 chipset and has only got 1.5ghz quadcore compared to nexus 2.2ghz quadcore! Try shadowgun deadzone on it and use the sniper weapon - I need big screen for games like that as my xperia T is only just big enough - I know the Z1s would trance the nexus 5 in benchmark even though they both use same chipset and graphics - I love sony designs but not the poor updates and bugs - nexus 5 would beat my xperia t in everything except camera and camera isnt priority for me! Its also £100-150 cheaper than that z1s too!

I just replaced my Xperia T with the Xperia Z1 Compact. They're about the same size, but the compact is really a lot faster, it's waterproof, 4g capable and the battery lasts much longer. When the T would be empty, the z1 compact still has 40-50% remaining. I can truly recommend the z1 compact, I haven't found a single negative thing about it.

I use fast reboot and app cache clear! I dont have it on automatic mode as that actually uses more ram! 4.3 is rubbish so im sticking to 4.1! They should have named 4.3 project stutter! 4.4 is the update we want with far less ram usage and cool screen record function - not just capture!

The only happy improvements i saw is the improvement in Night Camera quality and battery improvement little over 10%

Hey are you facing volume issues like me?? I solved the problem. Just connect the headphone and then long press the volume+ button. after showing a message that sound level above this may hamper your hearing it will allow you to increase. No need to repair I guess. Try this.

i just checked the ram usage right now...591 MB ram with 10 extra apps installed.. for me its ok because i have all the apps i need plus another 210 MB ram free to use.. if someone alse wants more apps he can buy a guad core phone... for now i am happy with my Xperia T.....

Both have their advantages! If your referring to the moto g then its benchmark beats xperia T - only just though! Xperia T has a better graphics chip than most 1.2ghz quads so gaming performance is better! Also quadcore can be heavy on battery!

I don't get why ppl say it has a bad battery life. I get throw the day and have over 4h on screen time. It would be nice to have 2-3 days battery but if i get a day of use I say there should be no complaints. With the previous Galaxy s2 i had to charge it 2 and sometimes 3 times a day. That was a bad battery but had even worse on the acer cloud mobile.

Very true! Adreno 305 replaces the old 205 that you found in 2011 xperia! The higher the last 2numbers the better the graphics chip! Although the adreno 320 far better than 225. There is nothing wrong with adreno 305 as it runs asphalt 8 etc smoothly - it just cant show some of the higher graphics that the adreno 225 does in games such as sg deadzone!

Your information is totally wrong bro,,Adreno 225 is much stronger than Adreno 305,,just only its number is higher dosent mean it's better,,Adreno 305 was a new gpu for mid range phone,,now l give you numbers,,adreno 225 can score 5800 on (1280*720)display of xperia t,,but adreno 305 score 3600 on (854*480) of Xperia l display which is almost 3 time lower than Xperia t's resolution,,and here final score on antutu,,xperia t (16400) and Xperia l (12320),,so Xperia t is much stronger than l and can run much better games due to it's better gpu adreno 225.

I owned Xperia Z few days ago and have Xperia T already. I compared the camera performance of both the phones as both have 13 MP camera. I felt surprised that Xperia T photos are more clear than Xperia Z. I felt colour balancing problem in Xperia Z and photo after full zoom looks blur as compare to Xperia T, while Xperia T photos in full zoom are look less blurry as Xperia Z. Battery life wont improve much because the battery is small for a phone of this size! Only thing you can do is turn the brightness down! Xperia T works well with MHL adaptor - had great fun playing shadowgun deadzone on hd tv with moga pro controller - battery drain wasnt too bad!

V has removable battery and waterproofing! Smaller screen could result in slightly more battery life! Xperia T looks better and has bigger screen - so the better overall package is xperia T in my opinion! Also phones with waterproofing normally have lower speaker volume due to all the insulation!

Yes battery is removable! The xperia T lt30a version has lte too! Xperia V has huge bezels at top and bottom and has smaller screen despite the phone being the same length as the xperia T! If water resistance is priority then get an xperia Z or Z1.

Use CleanMaster or similar tool to clean up the phone. The restarts are low memory issue. Don't blame Sony for lots of junk installed on your phone. I started having restarts some time ago, I did a hard reset of the phone and did not experience crash since then.

My brightness is all they way down since the first time I had it repaired. The adapt to light conditions has always been off since I've had this phone and doesn't make a difference at all. Don't get me wrong I would love this phone if my battery held its charge and didn't over heat and come up with the repair sign all the time...... Overheat isnt a problem on my XT but charging is a bit erratic! Sometimes it can charge from 0 to 65% in just 20mins and other times it can take absolutely forever! The problem lies in the fast charge USB cable I think as when its straight it charges no problem but sometimes if cable is bent it wont charge at all - the led doesnt come on! Just recently been getting touch problems with google. I guess im in self denial about this phone as the silver rings round the headphone jack and camera have fallen off and im getting bad creaking noise from the upper casing near the led! Also the walkman player is still buggy despite update fix and sometimes in the notification bar you just cant get rid of screenshot or walkman shortcut without restarting the phone! The camera can take excellent pictures if you ask whoever your taking a photo of to stay still for at least 2minute while you figure out what setting to put it on lol! My last phone was a very buggy ICS running live walkman so I am happier with my xperia T despite its flaws - BUT I only paid £200 for mine over a s3mini :-) I would give this phone 7/10 rating only because I got it so cheap second hand! If I paid £400 new for this then rating would drop dramatically and for people who dont know too much about phones then steer clear - you see everyone buys sony for premium looks - but when bits fall off the casing and it starts creeking then you really have to question how reliable it is. Moto G is big news and while it has no expandable memory the 16gb version makes huge sense to anyone who doesnt mind a 5mp camera with whopping specs for the price - gorilla glass 3 quadcore 1.2ghz snapdragon 400. 4.5inch 720p hd screen with nearly 330ppi., a 2000mh battery, and it only costs £150-£160 for 16gb version sim free and unlocked - £130 for the 8gb version! And its also running android 4.3 and getting 4.4 in january - pay close attention to the reviews on this one!

My brightness is always less than 40% intact it's quite low, I've had this problem since I brought the phone and kept taking it back to the shop, which they sent it off to be repaired and all they do is a system update, my phone is charged every few hours and it can be on 1% and the next minute up to 30% and 5 mins later my phone dies. You can place it on charge for 30mins and it would only get to 5% or sometimes 10%, I would love this phone if it wouldn't shut off on me or over heat, sometimes you haven't got to use my phone for it to over heat and it shuts off and restarts itself over and over again coming up with the phone repair sign. If I didn't have these problems with this phone I would love it..... But at this moment in time the phone is lucky it doesn't end up out my window!

TX is thinner and lighter than T! Tx has brighter notification light and I think battery is removable? If you can sacrifice a few gb of internal memory and camera performance then get the xperia SP as it has bigger battery, is more powerful and has newer chipset and same graphics as xperia Z (adreno 320) which is far more advanced than xperia T/Tx! SP is the best phone in its price range except for nexus 5! Im waiting on review of motorolla G as its 1.2ghz quadcore, fairly decent battery, 720hd screen thats same size as xperia T etc screen and is half the new price of the xperia SP and it is getting kitkat in january! If performance matches my xperia T then I will get one as its the closest thing to a nexus experience for an unbelievable price!

My old live walkman had many more problems than this phone! Nearly every phone has a bad batch so dont worry too much! My Xperia T has survived extreme usage with heavy games and countless recharges and is working better than ever! 1year old handset is superb! Only downside is small batterry cant cope well with big screen - so setting brightness to below 50% is a must! Runs so smooth on jellybean 4.1.2. So beware of people giving false reviews on this phone as I and many other owners have never had a problem with it!

this is a severe warning to anyone who is even considering to buy a smartphone android full stop!! i got a sony xperia model t last febuary,by april i nticed i was charing it twice a day and hardly ever on it, by summer it started dying at 60 per cent battery life, however stupidly i didnt want to bring it back as i would loose everything and by sept it would only stay on for few minutes then die!! it worked however when it was in the charger. and unfortunately for me it fell about 2 weeks before i brought it back and a tiny little chip went onto handset so when i brought it back to be fixed they said it was void of contract because it fell so before they would even look at the phone to see what problem was they wanted 160 euro to replace handset even if it turned out to be a fault with the phone itself and they would then replace it, so your 160 goes straight down the drain... can anyone tell me if this is legally right can they charge u for something then say o no actually its our fault but we will keep your money?!! soooo mad!! sorry x

I havnt had half those problems - BUT battery does drain while charging if brightness is above 40% and for the fast charge to work I have to make sure the usb cable is straight! Heat isnt a problem! For people with battery drain just turn the brightness down as the battery is very small for a 4.6inch 720p hd screen!

I wouldn't buy another Sony Xperia T again, my battery has gone from only charging at night and lasting all through the day to charging it at night and using it at about 6am and at 7:40/8:00am it needs charging back up I would only use it at that time to be on fb, I now have to charge it about 3/4 times a day, even with no use, I can put it on charge at 60% battery and watch a hour film on BBC iPlayer and once it has finished my phones battery life would be on 21% charging..... The phone over heats and shuts itself off and restarts and will not stay on unless you stick it on charge. But you cannot use it because it freezes so you have to leave it. If I put my phone on charge and play in a game instead of it staying on the same number or counting up the battery actually counts down. My phone has been repaired two times and needs to go back to be repaired again due to it still not working, it does heat up quickly but I have heard that is a problem everyone has, but does everyone's phone shut off? There is some good points about the phone, camera, memory space. My only problem with the phone is mainly the battery life and the battery not holding its charge and the phone over heating, does anyone else who has this phone having the same problem?? My phone isn't that old either I got it by the end of December which makes it 10 months old..... Hoping I am not the only person with this problem

I got this phone almost a year ago and here is my exeprience: Good thing: 1. Camera is over the top, compared to galaxy s3,s4, iphone 5. Except HTC One on low light setting, otherwise it's better than HTC. BAD things: 1. Often discards SD card as unreadable, it's unsolved bug. This phone burned 2 San DIsk SD cards, one was 32, othe 4 GB. Now i use it without sd card. 2. After connecting with PC, you permanently have icon "waiting to connect" in upper left corner and it is iritating. 3. SCREEN FLICKERS in lower left corner when trying to display more complex immages. YOu can even fing a video on you tube. I sent this phone 3 times to repair shop, they gave me a new one that had the same mistake. 4. IT heats up very easily 5. Wifi scanner is the worst i have ever encountered 6. I had microphone repaired and replaced 2 times, because the pople i was speaking to couldn't hear me. Prior to this phone I had: iPhone 3GS, iPhone4, Sony Ericsson Neo V, HTC Desire HD, Galaxy S3 (gave it to my wife). This phone and SonyEricsson Neo V , are the two worst phones i came accross.

I've had my Xperia T for just over a year now and I still love it! Originally it was a toss up between the T and the Note II; I went with the T because it had a superior camera (I'm a bit of a photo geek). The only issue I've had is with sound - occasionally, the speaker stops functioning and I have to either reboot the phone or connect it to a 3mm jack / remove it to 'reset' the sound. That aside, brilliant phone. It still packs a punch 12 months on! The screen is especially fantastic.

Xperia T of course! Both are great lookers but xperia T has slight lead with graphics and performance! Screen is great! Battery life could be better though! Only problem with T is that Sony seem to have forgotten about it now which is really bad considering its only one year old and a former flagship - now you see why people choose the galaxy S line! Sony produces great phones but most have poor battery and get few updates! My old lww was ruined with there dodgy ics update and we had to wait ages for that! If having problems with superior auto mode, switch to normal. I've had some good 9mp wide pics with superior auto on. I don't really use camera that much but it's far superior to the 5mp camera on my lww. Just experiment with the settings and you will be happy in the end. It could be a bit easier to use.

First of the phone is extremely reliable as far as my personal experience goes (I've been using it for 7-8 months now) so there's a good chance that such a mishap wont occur at all. Just download pc companion to pc, then connect your phone via usb and pc companion will tell you if update is available! Also try checking - settings/about phone/system update on your xperia! Updates can vary depending on region and carrier network! Latest update build number ends in .41 but mine only has .40 build available! .40 and .41 have walkman bug fix, anything before these will have walkman bug!

I know the phone can pick that signal up because I went to hull and tested it! Ironically the dchspa works on the same street as the 3shop but nowhere else in the area! Im actually on a 12 month SIM only contract with 3 network. It's £15 a month excluding a few pence vat! I was on pay as you go but I got £10 off the one plan so now I get unlimited data, 2000minutes, 5000 3-3 minutes and 5000 texts! Only problem is that 3 are poor at peak times and I can't get the ultrafast internet that 3 say is available in my area! I know you are a PAYG fan but i am thinking of getting the t for my girlfriend who still loves her Arc s. We can get it on buymobiles .net for 15pcm on T mobile upgrade, same price non upgrade. Once bought we can then upgrade in theory (i just did about 4months agoon my then new phone) to t mobiles £16.50pcm contract that includes "unlimited browsing"...and infact i manage to get downloading also, although it might stop and start when downloading over their 750mgb limit for downloads. I have to switch the network back to t (EE) mobile when it goes automatically to orange (they use both on T mobile /EE) so to be able to still stream.....often it just works anyway....the same as my girlfriends. They just swap you over to orange network or allow you to download only at off peak or just dont cqp it at times for my girlfriends t mobile contract. Odd but still its unlimited browsing at 16.50pcm. And it includes tethering wwhich is not included nowadays on most contracts for that price.

Its not as simple as just peeling the plastic that sony put on the xperia t. There are guides on you tube. Firstly the glue left will need a substance to remove it.....as seen on YT. And if one was going to use the glass without putting another piece of plastic on top. Then the glass will be a fingerprint magnet as it was not treated by Sony with the necessary chemicals oils etc to stop fingerprints. Some of the user on YT recommend removing thr plastic and using the glass.....but buy an oil so the glass screen is usable without all the fingerprints etc.

sony has done a fabulous job regarding making screen shatter proof. the only way to make a glass shatter proof is by laminating it with some sort of plastic sheet.. your xperia T comes with a factory fitted plastic sheath on the screen apart from the screen protector you already had installed on it.. what i am trying to say is that there are two protectors.. one which you installed and one which Sony installed.. so simply take a small pin..and push it in the one front corner of your xperia.. pull up the protector (fitted by sony) and take it off.. BINGO!! all the scratches gone.. get the new one installed again

The modded apk runs better than original! That said, you lose facebook and gmail profile access with mod! Still it meant I got to try that mad looking mercedez in S class without having to go through whole game! For anyone who wants to try the mod - go to ANDROPALACE! My xperia T takes ages to charge sometimes but always use supplied original charger and dont use extended or different usb cables as this nearly doubles the charging time - I made that mistake using an extention as the supplied usb cable is quite short!

I confirm my previous suspicions on build quality! The silver ring on camera has now fallen off! Also bad creaking in top left corner near led! Quite a good phone but these defects will affect resale value! Really its a bad show for a premium device! Ok I am saying that because, as I have observed elsewhere, some times the design of the headphone Jack may cause such a damage. I can give an example here, if you try to press too hard a headphone Jack that is fitting tightly into the socket of the HTC one X, the socket may leave its place and slip deeper into the phone's body. Just one small yet important fact to point out. Ion is by far not T/Tx sibling. It's rather Xperia S sibling. Reason being both Xperia T and Tx not only pack a much much superior cpu and camera module but also their design language is completely different. Moreover, T/Tx were released much later than ion.

Xperia T was the last year flagship, and SP is a midrange phone, because T/TX got the highest specs that Sony can give on their essential features at their time but not with SP. I say you spend some extra, Xperia Z is quite cheap now and its by far the best Sony has to offer. If you cant spend more then you are much better off getting a Samsung of some kind. Xperia TX battery is horrible, make no mistake, there are good reasons why its being sold with extra battery and desktop charger many places, even with two batteries it doesnt automatically mean you can make it last one full day.

It is kind of hard to decide because SONY has so many nice offerings in midrage device In terms of looks and designs, both phone have killer looks. But I give a slight prestige advantage to Xperia T because james bond used it in skyfall movie and slight build quality to Xperia SP because of its cool transparent bar and alumunium body If you're guy that likes gaming, browsing, multiple heavy tasks with solid battery backup.. You should buy Xperia SP because its processor is slightly faster than that of Xperia T (1.7ghz vs 1.5ghz) plus, Xperia SP uses the same GPU as Xperia Z. But performance wise, Xperia T is not bad at all because just like Xperia SP, it trounces some quad core devices such as samsung galaxy s3, htc one x+ in benchmarks, but Xperia T has mediocre battery backup (only 1850mah) If you're a guy that is some sort of a photography geek that cares about the elements of photography such as details and noise levels of a photo, you should buy Xperia T because it has a good 13MP camera. The 8MP camera of Xperia SP performs terribly for its class, a firmware update fixes that though but still 13MP is better than 8MP Both phone's audio quality is about on par. If you like to store buzzillions of apps in your phone, maybe you should buy Xperia T instead of Xperia SP. because Xperia T has 16GB of internal storage (11GB user accesible) while Xperia SP only has 8GB (6GB user accesible) So it is a really tough decision to make. It depends on what kind of user you are. In short, if you use your phone heavily with solid battery backup buy Xperia SP. If you like photography, buy Xperia T.

My network is 3g only and only had one problem with data signal once and that was solved by switching phone off and on! Try going into - SETTINGS>MORE>MOBILE NETWORKS and choose desired network! Also choose USE 3G NETWORK ONLY! If that doesnt work, contact your network providor, then Sony if issue isnt resolved! Have you downloaded internet settings?

I totally agree with James, however, would further seriously emphasis the drawback of internal memory not having expansion through SD Card. It can be a serious drawback esp. if you are into gaming, would be using a variety of 3rd party apps and would be taking pics & videos. This phone is awesome! Everything is perfect and the battery is draining fast only if you play games. Without games you get around 22h of battery which is more than needed. Keep in mind that the display is big and smartphones weren't made to have long lasting battery - 14h is enough. Everyone who is thinking about buying it - go get it, the phone is great!

The charger is original! Ive tried that and my lww charger and both the same! Charging is the same on .40 software as previous! The port in the charger faces opposite direction to the lww charger so I know its original! Will try software repair when I get access to a pc!

Hmmm that's odd cause I haven't experienced mine getting drained while charging that's so out of question in my personal experience and I have used it both on ICS and jelly bean. Also both of my T & Tx get fully recharged from 0-100 in over an hour's time (under 2hrs). If at all I can think could be the reasons for these differences would be; 1- Region of release: I think mine is supplied with a fast charger :) 2- Softwares installed One more thing did you buy your Xperia T brand new? if yes then are you sure you are using the right recharger cause phone draining while recharging may be possible if the recharger is of lower amps than what the battery requires. I am no technician but this is what I experienced when I once used my friend's live with walkman recharger.

Well the standby time of this phone is extremely good. If by normal or regular use you mean 70-80% of calling and 20% for gaming, web browsing, texting, video and audio playback from a 100% of usage then it can make it through 1-2 days. I might add here that I am suggesting this based on my personal experience with the device.

Well I wouldn't deny what you said as it mainly depends on one's usage and I must admit that I am generally a careful user and so my experience is different. So I'd rephrase, Xperia T can be said to be less prone to developing scratches, thanks to the materials used, the Arc in the back and the rubbery bottom, the Xperia T mostly lays protected on most surfaces. However, you do have a point there... P.s. There are very few devices out there that are as well designed as the Xperia T (or the Xperia Arc) and IMHO Sony should serious consider bringing back the same designing language to some of its mid to high end range of devices.

Have both T and Tx. Tx is taller, has removable battery and is not unibody. Tx has a noticeably better display than the T. Although both the phones have gr8 ergonomics, T sits extremely well in hand, is very pleasing to hold and sure feels premium. T can easily be used without any additional protective cover. Camera and performance wise they are quite identical. Hope this helps.

Standby time is excellent but intensive usage drains battery fairly quickly! Best phone in this price range is nexus 4 although no micro sd card is its flaw! I thought about s3 mini at £200 on 3! Instead I bought used xperia T for £210 and now they are £190 in CEX! Trust me xperia T has better screen, more powerful processor and graphics chip! Only downside is it takes about 2hours to charge! Also new Xperia SP would be an alternative as its newer , has slightly better specs with everything except its 8mp camera (xperia t has 13mp) and also bigger battery that is removable! SP is getting 4.3jb update for definite too!

Turn off any processes that are not needed, like GPS and WiFi when not using. Keep screen brightness as low as you can manage and switch off that auto brightness. Mine is used at 50% brightness. Gaming and browsing do affect battery drain very much so. Standby time is great, also kill any unused apps and clear the cache on as much as you can. I use fast reboot and app cache cleaner. Turn off touch vibration as well. Batterry drain will always be an issue when the screen is on because it is quite big and remember that it's a 720phd screen so there's a lot of pixels that are being used. I'm happy with my xperia t because I got it for under half the brand new price. I wouldn't have been happy with the battery life if I'd paid full. Still it's great for everything else. I had my phone on standby while I was out and the battery was still 100% 2HOURS after charge. So to preserve battery, do the things I've mentioned and remember to keep display brightness to a minimum as this is the battery killer.

My old xperia lww did this but was solved by removing battery! Obviously you cant remove battery in xperia t so I suggest to close apps when not in use so you can avoid the phone crashing!

One rumor is that Sony will skip 4.2.2 for lots of phones and go directly to 4.3. This is likely to apply to Xperia L and SP and some others. Xperia T/TX/V may not get any more updates at all, 4.1.2 is already very good. Bugfixes may still come but an android upgrade is not that likely for these 3 "not so great" devices.

Performance is actually very good on gaming at present! Runs shadowgun deadzone on ultra high graphics with minimal lag! SP is more future proof! Xperia t is previous sony flagship so it will have a more premium feel to it than sp! Only problems in xperia t I found are buggy walkman (now fixed with .40 and .41 updates, fast battery consumption for gaming, very slow charging ( if playing games while charging, the battery hardly charges at all), awkward buttons but perfect to hold in left hand, and finally touch problems when using google search. Never had a forced reboot, ram is sufficient and adreno 225 make for great gaming. Adreno 225 is actually faster than newer adreno 305, but not as good as 320. Deadtrigger 2 when its released could be a real test even for adreno 320! Awsome graphics on youtube trailer! I would advise against paying for xperia t at new price and suggest to buy 2nd hand as its specs are not worth £300 - 400 ! Me I got mine for £210 in mint condition and now are only £190 used! Great phone!

I bought Sony Xperia T on Friday (2 days ago). And I am really happy with the device. Mine is upgraded to Jelly Bean 4.1.2. First of all the camera is great. I have set the Camera key to shoot photo directly, instead of just loading the camera app. And the result of the 13 MP camera is great. Secondly, Sony's UI is lovely, better than Samsung UX in small ways. E.g. The Photo Album App (very organized), The Task Manager, The Contacts Section, The SMS app. The body. Incredible to handle. I mean the soft back (I don't know what material that is) feels really comfy and the curve really hugs my hand. There is the matter of the volume keys, they are kinda, placed at an awkward place. But the built is why I bought this, simply a pleasure to hold the set, The display, I know Amoled vs LCD is preference based. But this device's display shows pictures with great colors. It doesn't have deep blacks, but I like how the pictures are bright and realistic. I hate it's speaker. If you play a movie, the sound is quite low, you'll definitely have to use earphones. :) I basically had to choose between Xperia T and Xperia SP. Xperia SP which is basically nearly twice in performance than the Xperia T and way more battery backup, and almost the same price but SP has an ordinary camera and doesn't feel/look as good as T. I went for the better camera and better feel/look. It may seem I compromised a lot (performance, battery life, gorilla glass) but to tell you the truth, I'd rather have a set that I like, even if it isn't the best hardware on the planet. I realized this due to Galaxy SII Plus and Galaxy Nexus. (Latest Android or Great Hardware) isn't worth anything, if you don't find the set comfortable to use. Before the Xperia T, I had Samsung SII Plus, Samsung Nexus, Samsung Nexus S, HTC Desire, HTC HD 2 (rooted with Android). So far Xperia T is the best device I have used.

It's better in looks but that's where it ends. You can't compare them really. Super amoled v tft LCD. Quad-core vs dual-core. 4.9inch screen vs 4.55 inch. S3 is a better package but I will always choose Sony for the design. My xperia t is perfect for what I use it for. Battery could be bigger and also heats up very fast - probably because of how slim the phone is in the centre. Also buttons are placed too low on the phone which makes right hand usage very awkward. Xperia sp is a great alternative and also bigger battery and 2x better gaming performance. Only downside to sp is design not as nice as xperia t and camera is only 8mp compared to 13mp.

Ive played nova 3 on my XT and it runs very smooth! Also has high graphics! I played nova 3 on my old live walkman and loved it but on xperia t you get the full package - no lag, better graphics! Played asphalt 7 and screen blurrs a little when using adrenaline, but think this is a game bug! Played shadowgun(version for s3 and quadcore) and runs awsome! Shadowgundeadzone very good with good internet connection! I was amazed how the xperia t can play deadtrigger and deadzone so smooth with ultra high graphics switched on! Only 2 negatives about XT are battery could be bigger 1850mih and walkman app has bug were I play my songs and it doesnt play continuous, but I think there are various updates to fix this! Ive owned my XT for 5days now and love it - ESPECIALLY FOR GAMING!

Sp is better for gaming! It has adreno 320 which is supposed to be twice as fast as adreno 225. If gaming is priority then wait a few months for sp price to drop as all sony phones price drop dramatically! Although I find xperia T to be good enough as I can play shadowgun deadzone with no lag! It will even play in ultra high graphics mode!

The only things I can tell u is turn off the GPS, the data and the background data when not using them, I agree the battery life sucks but I love this phone though I will be trying to find one with a great battery without sacrificing interface. The background data was difficult for me to find at first. Its actually in your contacts screen. Go to your contacts settings and you should find it.

I've been using it for a month now. It's very true that it's a great phone except for a problem that I've been having since the moment I bought it. Here is goes... When I am using the phone, the screen will suddenly die (turn all black) and the power button doesn't respond to turn it on. You will hear the tone if sends sms or the ring if someone calls but the screen is dead and won't respond to any press of the power button. Mostly this happens after a call (though not every time). Of course it will be solved by force reset (holding down power and volume up button), but it's annoying to do it at least twice a day... Can anybody tell me what to do? Thanks in advanced.

This is fake from the phone. Screen Is 4.55 BUT ONLY USABLE 4.1" so be aware. I immediately sold the phone because of that.

yeah i know that very well. But the truth is Xperia V got too much of disadvantage like sleep to death. Okay leave SOD, the most important of all is among 8GB of internal memory u can only consume 3.7GB. That means u cannot install games which is more than a 720MB to 1GB. Because it will make everything upside down. U don't even a option of moving the apps to sd card. Thank God atleast the users can move videos and music. Yeah! That's why i'm looking forward for xperia t and could u tell what can i do if a non-removable battery's life drained after some period. Will the sony dealers or showroom can change the battery ?

Great phone, great camera and real good specs for the price.I like the size too, Xperia Z is very good but too large. Doubting if I should upgrade to Jelly Bean though. My ICS is running really good and some apps have a light/white color scheme on JB apparently (phone, contacts) where my ICS versions are dark grey and look very pleasing to the eyes. Also have some doubts about reduced battery on JB. Any experiences there? Does the JB version look much better or..?

Stay well away from the HTC One S - had nine months of intermittent and dropped connections, no network access and poor customer service from HTC. Phone has been back for "repairs" twice and problems persist. It depends on what you want. The Xperia V supports LTE and is waterproof. The battery is removable. It also comes with Mobile Bravia Engine 2 and has a 3D camera. However, its screen is .3'' smaller than the Xperia T's screen and it has half the memory of the Xperia T. Also the front-facing camera is 0.3 MP, as opposed to 1.3 MP on the Xperia T. It doesn't have a physical camera button either. I have an Xperia T and I like it a lot, but there are some pretty nice features in the Xperia V as well,.

I have upgraded it to JB and with its new superior auto mode the camera is awesome. photos come out with great live colors and the pixels won't break even at 100% zoom. it's even better than digital cameras out there, the photos are simply a joy to watch. but in low light its such a disappointment. motion blurs are too frequent you'll really have to keep your hands steady to get a good shot but that too for static objects only

i bought an xperia t since February i liked it's functions and screen and the camera too it had few bugs , like colored screen like the old virus attacks the problem started after the JB update , i had a lot of crashes , self restart even within calls , up to 3 times in a 10 minutes calls i sent it to insurance i got a new one it crashed once , but the battery life is too short it is drained so quickly even when i closed the Data it worked like 7 and half hours and left me with 13 % i don't recommend T , i am trying to switch it

I also experienced this issue with Sony Xperia U and HTC Amaze 4G. The point where HTC Amaze was having 2 WiFi signal bars, Xperia U had 1. I think reception power of WiFi adapters used by Sony is not Excellent but satisfactory. It is worth mentioning that despite showing 1 signal WiFi was working well on my Xperia U.

xperia t can't make 3g video call...only skype

Hey guys please help me out here, previously i had HTC Desire X, the spots where desire x showed two bars for the wifi conection my xperia t shows one bar same was the problem with my galaxy nexus but my nexus never 'dropped' the connection when the signals were very weak, ive also unchecked the 'avoid poor connections' option in the advanced wifi settings... Can anyone tell me whats with this flagship phone aye is the wifi card too weak in sony or is it the jellybean?

The battery life of this phone is terrible, and if you are spending too much time like me on wi-fi and surfing social networks the best screen time you may get is around 3 and half hour. if you play a HD game best screen time you get is about 2 hours and you have to recharge your phone 3 times per day. don't buy it unless you want to use it just for calling and listening to music.

Hey, if you use flashtool download a version of jelly bean for your phone LT30p which is in ftf format. Make sure it is official and should be found on xda somewhere. this can be flashed on a locked bootloader or one with simlock so no worries there :) remember only .ftf file as the rest wont work on locked bootloader

hi everyone i just bought this phone 2 weeks backs in terms of performance and battery life its a really good phone i am fan of sony so i always love sony phones :P anyway when i got this phone it was with ics i tried to update it on jelly bean with pc companion with sus and all the ways whcih sony provides to update but every time it showed a message the you already have the latest software so than i decided to update it manually and did it successfully so if anyone is not getting the jelly bean update feel free to contact me to get all the info to update manually and the way i updated my phone dosnt required root or to unlock bootloder and it wont void the warranty as well so contact me on my email ([email protected]) if anyone wants manual update. thanks :)

I do not know if it's the height of bad luck or has to do with the quality of equipment, I bought one a few days ago to try it in the store had the bad audio, everything changed and I'm fine until the other day, after his first charge at night, he stayed on and now. Very disappointed to return to the store and left me with a better xperia P.

Hey, there's no need for confusion. Both are almost the same. The only differences are: Colors and battery backup. Maybe dimensions too, but that's just irrelevant. If you are a girl, you might like a pink one, then go for TX. It's stated they have a pink one. If you don't mind colors go for T cause its battery is a bit bigger than TX. T = 1850 mAh TX = 1750. You can go a day under moderate usage without the need of recharging it, easyly. The design of both is cool, curved. I find that very nice. Everything else is just fine. So, both could do just great having that Third Gen (maybe 4th Gen, not sure) Dual Core 1.5 Ghz Qualcomm CPU and Adreno 225 GPU, which is great, too. I know it, cause I currently use a Xperia Pro. The Xperia Pro sports a Second Gen. Single Core at 1Ghz and Adreno 205 GPU. I use it for everything: browsing (Dolphin), gaming, apps, whatever you want to do, it does it nicely and fast. Gaming on Android is so cool! Try Asphalt 7, and NOVA and Modern Combat series! :D So, this device (T or TX) won't dissapoint you at all, cause its specs are much better than my Pro. (Regardless of the screen resolution) If you are not in a budget, though, you could do better with the Xperia ZL or Z. If not, you are just perfect with the T, or TX if you like pink color. the freaking mic volume for mine has been solved with Italy version JB 492! also the ambient light sensor that displayed lower value! according light source. So i van say after a while it's a great phone HaHaHA

Im having the exact same issues with the T. Do not, I repeat, do NOT upgrade to Jelly Bean. It's great for Samsung, but it sucks for the T. Performance ha gone down, battery life has gone down, picture quality down. I'm trying to downgrade now.

Xperia t is a great phone but before its jelly bean update. Jelly bean have lots of bugs. The battery drains fast and performance also have gone down.
