Bought this beast on release and it still works like new after over 4 years. Even better actually with Android 7.1 thanks to LineageOS. Accidently sat on it once and bent it very slightly. You think the thing would care but nope. (Albeit the water resistance is almost certainly gone now because of a crack in the frame). Runs for days on stand by too. No noticeable scratches despite removing the protective cover. (Which I wouldn't recommend doing since that made touch input a bit oversensitive). I'm honestly flabbergasted how most manufacturers can't build tablets like this one nowadays.

I bought Sony Xperia Tablet Z Wifi from Ebay seller (Secondipity), it was manufacturer refurbished. Looked nice, but keyboard start blinking sometimes. I sent it back to them and ordered at the same way Sony Xperia Tablet Z Wifi+4G, the keyboard is still blinking sometimes. I don't know is the problem with every Sony Xperia Tablet Z Wifi or is the reason because it is manufacturer refurbished. Could anybody answer to this question? Hi guys...today I bought this tablet. It seems to be fine but something is weird about the display. I noticed that When a black background is being displayed, right corner of the screen at the bottom, is a little bit brighter than other parts. Hi, with 32 gb sd card, walkman was able to play mp3, now with 64 gb, no songs... Songs are there, just wwlkman player somehow can't see them. Any ideas?

The blinking seems to be a bug which is often seen when using keyboard in Chrome app. Let's wait and see if a fix will be released soon to fix this. Other than the blinking bug, the tablet is fantastic, best 150 euro i've spent :)

you dont need to move apps to sd the tablet lets you use all available space to install games or apps.

Got it yesterday and I am blown away by it.. I have been using iPad since the 1st gen and this was my first attempt outside Apple. I must say it is worth every dime. The sleekness, the build quality, the screen. It's a sheer delight to operate. Just upgraded it to 4.3 and it's even better now. And to top it all, the waterproof feature. I don't care what fanboys tell but I believe it is the best Android tablet around !!!

you mention emulators, have you tested epsxe?, if yes, have you test it with the openGL plugin? if yes, what settings did you used? i really want to use that plug-in but is beyond my understanding to make it fully work, i keep getting a lot of lag, with that plug-in only, all else is smooth

I do not have this tablet but, I think they could make a Sony Xperia Tablet ZXtra with these extra features n specs: Play PS 1,2,3 and upcoming ps4 games by disc (U can put the disc in the tablet) Watch movies or play CDs by disc (U can put the disc in the tablet) Extra water resistance (Unlimited depth, unlimited time) Playstation controller ports There could be a BUZZ junior Cradle for playing buzz junior, but there needs to be room for the Playstation controller ports.

Personally, I really liked this Tablet! I live in the UK and I travel alot for my business, so having a Tablet that has near PC functionality with fast WiFi speeds that I can easily carry with me is absolutely essential to me. I have to say though, I found the SONY XPERIA Z Tablet that they have here in the UK absolutely PERFECT for this! In fact, my only initial gripe is that with tablets in general, you have to be much more careful about protecting the screen. But thankfully I managed to get around this pretty well by finding a decent case for it that has a strong lightweight lid, which totally solved the problem! Was pretty darn cheap too (I think it cost me less than 10 bucks on Amazon). One thing I really love about this case even more is that the one I found came built in with a magnetic sleep sensor, which automatically turns the tablet on and off INSTANTLY (no seconds to wait like on my old Laptop). Only one model I have found so far that does this feature though, which I think they called it something daft like the "G-Hub" case (stands for gadget hub, apparently!) but all joking aside, it truly was BRILLIANT! If anyone was curious, here's the link to it... Totally made my Tablet the best darned portable computer I have ever owned!
