You can buy this if you want to normal use this phone. But if you wish to use heavily, i recommend you not to buy it. Because it has issues with the battery life and overheating. But the performance is awesome. Cameras are pretty good. Sound is awesome and everything is cool except the battery life.

I am using this phone since one year and seven months, in between (last december when it was about one year after purchase) when it was under warranty, i got its camera glass replaced because its surface got blur on its own(some blue layer on its glass was worn out), they charged 300 rupees to replace the glass piece and without guarantee the charge 800+ rupees, very costly brand( this kind of problem does not arise in even Chinese brands). Finally now after using phone for one year and seven months, my touch have stopped working without any reason, now it costs 5000+ rupees.This phone are with really very delicate hardware which fail again and again, and still the company charges heavily for those, friends i dont recommend this phone to anybody. its just a waste of money.

Hello peeps, I have been using this phone for at least 9 months i guess. First of all, I definitely wouldn't recommend you this phone but wait let me explain. (Please read all of them, thx!) There's a whole range of smartphones with great specs and even greater value than the xperia xa dual. Besides, the most concerning issue of this phone is the overheating. It heats up very easily especially when you are playing games with high fps. The phone also heats up when you take some shots with the phone's camera. When the phone heats up, it doesn't just heat up the phone but drain the battery as well. If you have seen the complains, its all about the battery drain so i think you get the idea of that part. Its just not the average battery drain you would expect from a mid range phone. Okay what about the performance? Well, its not that great either but what can you expect from a mid range phone.. Am i right? Last of all : the camera. The image produced are a bit softer and the front facing camera just won't meet my expectations. Honestly though, its still a usable phone with edge to edge body ratio. The body is sleek and the modern design wont dissapoint you. Overall its an OK phone with a slightly higher price. I am using this phone since one year, its performance is good but it gets heated up very fast particularly while we use camera for long time. i want to share some serious problems with this phone regarding its built quality, first of all at this price range its body plastic is very poor as my phone back side got minor scratches when already its back cover was on due to fine dust particles(not an issue with my Samsung at all), well which is not a major problem.. but now after 11 months my glass for back camera(13Mp) got blur(damaged glass surface) on its own with in genuine use, i visited Sony service center, as my phone was under warranty they charged me rupees 300\- as service charge and without warranty they charge 800-1000 rupees for the same problem & with waiting period if minimum one week so this is very costly brand after you purchase it.At this price range the quality is not up to match,,

I had using this xperia xa dual for almost 1 years and 3 month, all i got to say is there is pro and con,the con is heating ,its no so serious,but it will heat if using a camera for a long time or heavy usage like gaming,other is battery life,under heavy use it only get half a day,average usage will get barely 1 day but on other side ,the pro,after more than 1 years usage i got to say ,this phone is still smooth and snappy,performance still good,only need to take care not to cramp internel storage,camera front and back good enough for me and its charging quite fast even with normal charger overall,this phone is good because its still maintain a stable and smooth performance after more than a year because some of my friend bought xiaomi but after 6 month it get slow and laggy.the only thing that need to live with it is heating under heavy usage and battery thats all,i recommend this phone to someone that doing light usage and snap a photo sometimes ,cheers..

You, can move most of apps to SD card. Go to settings >apps>select particular app>inside it select storage >memory shared>storage used>change it to SD card. Most of apps can be moved to SD card except Google apps & whatsapp. Please Tyr it I have tried it, works.

Disappointed with this phone. Has 16gig memory but you can't move apps to the the memory card so it quickly fills up. For a phone built in 2016 to lack 4g is absurd. Battery life is the worst I have ever seen in a mobile phone. Only preserves battery when the saving mode is activated but you lose functionality. Only nice thing about this device is the camera. If I had an option to return the phone would gladly do that

xperia xa has a big problem with the OS since I have updated my device the device would not function in most cases. switch over to app wont respond, sometime the screen would simply go white. I have tried a lot to repair the software never worked out , this device seems piece of junk. I have used sony device all my life this is the first phone from sony which is not upto the mark, if I check the features the mediatek processor is useless as it just dose not function as it should be, I have no idea why a reputed company like sony even uses mediatek processor in their phone.

Yes, in phone notification it shows Update available (830Mb) but each time i tried to download and install, it shows installation failed try again, and i have to download whole (830Mb) software again still it did not worked, so i tried to update with sony pc companion(connecting phone with my pc), where it downloaded the update & started to install it, but it stopped in between showing some unknown error, and phone became use less(just showed SONY logo with white background), phone was under warannty so i got Android 7.0 installed from service center, where other than me lots of guys have visited service center for the same reason, but i asked them the reason why phone just crashed during update, but they did not answered it.

the rumor mill says that the nougat update is off the air. you can't update OTA or using the xperia companion anymore. and nobody knows why, except of sony. what should still work is the sony flashtool. but keep in mind to do a backup of your phone before using the xperia companion.

I got this phone few weeks ago and it's a great one. totally recommend it. its snappy, fast and smooth and works as it should. battery is fine and can get you through the day easily with medium usage and on screen time, Sony did a great job in optimizing the battery for this one since its not a beefy one and it charges really quickly too, the phone looks gorgeous and the call quality is good. so far no complaints from this phone , except yes it can get a bit warm when its over-worked especially if its installing the android updates, other than that, it gets mildly warm from time to time when using it or having it process videos or online streaming but not "crazy hot" as some people keep mentioning here.

i'm using Sony XA i bought it with 225 Jod which is 317.62 , its camera is so good and thats why i bought it , but i have two problems: 1. too much crashes. 2. i always get mobile network not available, and people always call me and tell me that they can reach me, just when i'm out side not in a bulding it works well that means the GSM in sony is the problem, i used to use Samsung mini s3 and it work way better. 3. it takes so long time to turn on, more than pentium computer, ive recorded a vedio for that. 4. in the early morning the touch screen needs long time to response , it's sensitive to humidity, sure thats not always but i wonder how a samsung phone in 2011 is better than A sony produced in 2016

After several weeks of use i will say my opinion First of all, the mobile is a matter of personal choice and needs, for me i'd pick a mid-ranger instead of a flagship for aesthetics and ergonomics, this is why i fell in love with xperia xa In my hand, it reminds me of the galaxy a5 2015, it is a joy to hold this phone in hand or pocket Camera is good, front is better than back, and as long as u dont compare it with other sony flagships u will be satisfied Phone gets never ever hot, even with heavy use I dont play games so performance is fine with me, never hangs It has the magnificent advantage of using both sims and sd, no stupid hybrid slot Battery lasts almost 10-11 hours with wifi always on, i charge overnight and it survives with me fair enough, It is a very good phone, for light to moderate users, i have no regrets, and i will not change it for a chunky flagship that costs a fortune, this will remain with me till i find another such slim, light and narrow phone with as good specs

A major part of this 10.1 GB get consumed very fast by Android system software and Google apps. 7- Marshmallow has an option to format your SD Card as Internal memory by which you can use your memory card as internal storage and avoid the problem of Low Internal memory problem. But this feature has been disable in every Sony Xperia Phones. Finally I'll say, it's a very good phone in this price range (Approx Rs 15000/- me Sony apni Jaan to nahi de dega naa apko). So dont worry go for it.

i bought this phone yesterday... i have to say this is the most beautiful phone i ever seen, it's design is so nice... cameras are more than great, very fast, they are like magic... performance is great too, fast, it feels like flagship phone... i don't know about battery back up becuase i just bought it before 6 hours or so but i guess it's not bad as other people think... i got 2 system updates just right away when i opened it what i dont like about it is... the back side is made from plastic, i can live with it but if it was all metal that would be great.. the camera autofocus is fast in photo mode but not fast enough to my liking in video mode but again it's good faster than other phones in the same price range, i hope sony can make it faster in the comming updates like xperia x model... that's all, i did not notice any problems yet..i will update the comment after while after i use it for while... im not phone gamer im playstation gamer so i will not use a lot of battery.. it does not heat up only get warm so don't worry that's normal that's all, thank you sony.

I bought Sony Xperia XA Dual two days ago, i have inserted reliance Jio 4G simcard in in sim 1,and went to Settings>more>mobile networks>under jio select Preferred network type, select LTE(preferred)/WCDMA/GSM).(It is compulsory to do network selection as mentioned above). After that I downloaded & installed Jio4Gvoice app(for calling sms etc), open the app you will be able to do voice calls & sms through this app. This card works good for voice callings, sms and data services for surfing, and whatsapp. I am not facing any problem. Xperia XA is very good phone with good speed.

Ok i bought it 2 weeks ago i had iphone 5c before but it is dead now, i didnt feel like i downgraded at all everything works fine ny only concern is the loudspeaker volume which isnt very high but only on some youtube videos, however i got that fixed by installing a volume booster app that boosts the volume by 10 percent which is quite enough. Thats all its a value for money its not iphone 7 its not sony xperia xz it will do the job cos i change my mobile after 2 years so i feel like im up to date with this phone

New issues found days after days : After update to latest version now i found issue in network in my Xperia XA dual . I have never faced such type of issue before update. Now the signal strength 📶 suddenly drops to zero from 100. It stays like that for about 30 seconds or more to get the signal again. Its so annoying and some times it repeats again and again. Its the limit for my patience with Sony, now i really started hating this handset which is good for nothing. Major drawbacks for me is no support for VoLte. Yes, i mean volte not lte. Those who don't know the difference kindly clear your doubts before posting silly things. Worst speaker 🔊 phone. Can't listen songs or youtube videos clearly even in indoor. Everytime i have to plug in earphones 🎧. Battery life is average on normal usage and worst for gaming. Overheats a lot without any reason. I have not installed a single game. Can't use camera more than 5min. as it heats like an iron. Ovearall good for nothing the price i payed. Those planning to buy this, better go for some other brands and stay away from this. Otherwise you will regret and realise you only got the sony brand logo for the price you paid, with a substandard faulty product.

@ Raj.. No you can't transfer apps to SD card in XA dual. The main 2 basic features- Internal storage & battery, both are very very less. You will run out of internal memory after using it a few months/installing a few apps,games & will run out of power after 6-7 hrs normal use. I dont think anybody will buy any sony product after using XA dual. Sony should recall all XA dual like Samsung (S7), if they want to do business further.

Hii fnds, am from india and i buy this phone on 25 aug and there is no any issue with this phone. first of all the design of this phone is awesome, overall good. very handy great look, display awesome no need to 1080p screen, camera good front cam is very good according to other company phones. battery is average depend upon usage but it good for me. but after update battery backup is increase. i think the bad this of this phone is memory internal storage is only approximat 6.12gb thats not good. but the advantage is u can move the apps to sd card and also support otg and usb. thnxx

Using since 2 months , have system updates done atleast 6 . Battery performance is better now , increased by 50 % I think . Cause my usage etc is the same , last update was 12 days back . I use 2 sims . NO network issues . SAR Value of this phone as provided to me by sony is 0.473 ear W/kg (10g) & on the body SAR value is 0.471 W/kg (10g) . As far as I am concerned the phone is up to proper performance now due to battery life being improved.

p9 lite is better in terms of performance and it is cheaper. xa has a better camera and design but the problem is the battery you can also consider, moto g4, nexus 5x, samsung j7 2016, or the upcoming samsung c5, by just adding around 40 dollars, you can have a 1.2mm slimmer phone with metal body + 3mp on camera, + 2GB on Ram + 130 ppi on screen +a fingerprint sensor.

Unfortunately I bought Sony Xperia XA Dual. Its battery is totally failure. Even when I use IMO to talk just 10 mins talking reduces 10% battery. I also found touch problem with this model. I would not recommend just because of battery and touch issue. However, functionality is fine and feather is great no doubt. SONY! You need to work on battery and touch improvement.

This phone's look is resemble to samsung s6 edge... which is not affordable, whereas SONY XA. Is the the one you can go for it. Moreover it's Handy phone better in holding it.. Best feature in this phone is that it disconnects the charging when it gets fully charged even if charging pin is inserted. Sane features are in SONY XA ULTRA. Except ram, camera and dimension.

Ya surely you can go with this phone. But keep in mind that the battery performance is below par but that must be a software problem. You will have to wait for the official fix from sony itself. Yes Call quality is crystal Clear from both the Ends. Also Internal speaker is loud that i have to set it to less than 50%. So thats a good thing. Moreover main camera is Just Awesome in any condition. Still too much low light (Very Dark Rooms) portraits have noise but here the flash helps a lot. Practically Better camera than other cheap brands of 13MP.

In my personal opinion if you are average user except gamer after using this mobile, you just fall in love with it. Its looks so premium & classy. i solved the battery draining issue & its lasting above one day on moderate use now. I am quiet satisfied now. Solution is so simple,just use both the sim in gsm mode,not wcdma or lte. only change the mode when internet connection is required otherwise switch both the sims to gsm only. I observed my airtel sim drains all power in few hours while using in lte preferred mode.When i use it with single Vodafone 3g sim the performance was above exceptions. Those who have battery draining issue kindly change your sim to other network and try it on gsm mode only & post your reply here about the difference.

This is my review after using the device about a week. Battery life is ok,can lasts one day easily with normal usage. in heavy usage always screen on about 5hrs. Very quick charging 100% in less then 1and half hours. Audio quality on earphone Awsome,Out of the world on my sennheiser ear buds. Front camera quality in daylight is excellent,in night suffers a bit. Low light selfies not so good,lots of noise. But in good light its nice. Screen display quality Very good,sharp enough for 720p,no need of 1080p. Touch response & ui very responsive,no hanging issues. Call quality very good & loud on both earpiece & speakerphone. Built in speaker is not loud enough to listen music or watching videos. Only issues i found is heating. Heats most while using the camera about few minutes. However it doesn't heat while charging. little bit warm while watching hd movies or downloading content from internet. In my opinion every handset has positive & negative aspects. if you can adjust with the negative side,then its the best. Don't go for cheap Chinese phone,you really can't get that experience which can't be expressed while holding such a beauty from sony.

Forget about gaming on this device, it's not meant for that. For me I play games on my i pad, I use my XA only for social networking like: Facebook, what's app, viber, line, etc and it barely lasts for a day.
