Sony Xperia Z3v - User Reviews

  • This phone model is a BEAST! I bought my Wife and I a pair of Z3Vs just over 5 years ago, and hers STILL works great. Her phone held a charge for up to a week of light use for the first 3 years, and still holds a charge for more than a day. Mine worked flawlessly for 4.5 years. I dropped mine dozens of times, and nothing ever went wrong until the last time it fell about 8 feet, and the on-off button stopped working. My phone then still worked perfectly for two months, until I finally let the battery die out completely. It recharged fine, but I had no way of turning it on. Wish I still had it. I soooooo wish that Verizon still offered Sony phones!

  • I had this unit and only one time dropped from my hand and bang touch not working perfectly workings only some screen area i'm from Pakistan can any one tell me how to replace his touch pannel or chek a sony customer care center because i does not seen any sony center and also never seen this handsets parts.. Plzz help if any one face problem like me

  • Me too!

  • I can't open my phone. The screen turns white and the back is very hot. I just want to know if it is battery or system.

  • How to use the 4g or LTE on it. It is not working on it

  • You'd be hard pressed to find any dual sim Verizon model.

  • I had this unit... and it had red burn in spots at the top of the screen. Would like to see Verizon carry a 2018 Sony handset.

  • You have to program apn for your network under the data settings it doesn't work automatically.

  • I've had mine for over a year and it'd been pretty beefy no matter how many times its taken a dive

  • No its not dual

  • you're absolutely right

  • It's 4G mobile or not..I'm facing problem lte network...jionet is not working in this phone...help me on regarding this problem pls

  • i cannot open my sony Z3v . i think my internal memory is damage anyhow. i i need help to find the flash file . i try a lot but i cant find .. if any 1 can help me plz.. thank You.

  • They lie, the screen is not shatter proof nor resistant, drop the phone just once and it breaks.

  • not dual sim ji single sim but nice usage

  • Is it dual sim?

  • the best one, but also confused to chose between z2 and z3(v)

  • you need to root your phone to get update.... follow this link

  • Yes you can use. I have used it in Pakistan.

  • Best Phone

  • yes

  • Yes u can

  • if you're on verizon (obviously), just go to software update. should be there

  • How do I get an update for lollipop on that phone I tried everywhere I know. Help anyone plz?

  • Pls. where can i get one to buy? can someone pls help me out, am ghana

  • over heating problem

  • Is there anyway you can change the font on the phone? That is the only thing I can think of as a bad review if you can't. Its a pretty good phone other then that.

  • I've bought one in the US..It's unlocked. Can i use it in Malaysia? Someone pls tell me?

  • Late reply but check out eBay or swappa.com. ebay is where my GF got hers (to replace her broken droid turbo). She loves it but if you want lollipop don't hold your breath.

  • Sony Z1 in April 2015? You are really behind with technology... It is obsolete already. Go for Z3+ without thinking.

  • Bestbuy.com (upgrade/add to current plan only. full price. NO new plans) Amazon.com

  • No VoLTE, no lollipop, can't check visual voicemail over wifi (or even with wifi connected) so that means using roaming data when traveling overseas. The battery does tend to last all day but two days is simply no way. I don't play games often but I do a lot of messaging and email and I am consistently below 30% by the end of the day. Comparing to the iPhone 6 (which I also have) it is thicker & heavier and I get approximately the same battery life. I prefer android but the iPhone has VoLTE (so you can use data while on a call) and working visual voicemail. Also the silver strips that line the Z3v edges are starting to peel up after a few months. I like the Z3v but VZW has hobbled it and appears to be dumping them which I fear means no VoLTE ever and no lollipop ever. Shame on VZW if that happens because they promised both back in November when I got this phone.

  • You can get a day easily out of this phone, I use it all day playing lots of games(a few hours worth) at 75% brightness most of the time, and still have about 60% battery. (after a 7 hour period away from home) . I would say the phone could last a day or two with semi light usage. Definitely not ground breaking, but better than the iPhone ;)

  • hey can someone tell me how much US dallors for this phone plezz and where can i get it plezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • It is a global phone? Can I use it in other countries GSM carriers?

  • Hi! Thank!

  • It won't be available anywhere out of the United States. the "v" stands for Verizon, which a service provider in the USA. I would suggest looking at the Sony Xperia Z3 D6603.

  • I never liked Samsung Phones because the build quality is almost always very poor. I just now became a big fan of Sony. My first SONY is the Z1. Getting the the Z3 Compact next when the price goes down.

  • Someone know when Arrive In Malaysia Sony Xperia Z3V?

  • battery test for sony xperia z3v plz gsmarena!

  • I switched from the droid turbo to this and its ALOT BETTER

  • anyone have or had the droid turbo and switch to this?

  • sony should make also qwerty phone

  • awsome design....100 out of 100

  • Please No Low Grade or Shame comparison to Sony cell Flagship builds!!!

  • Sony is the best of all and it is the most developing phone among Samsung and LG it's amazing brilliant and it is proved that it has 3G video calling too so u can't dominate z3v 'the best'

  • The z2_lens is not outdated it is the same lens as z3 in actuality the z2 performs better in macro shots I have both and I have tested them

  • Haven't u noticed the wireless charging feature in z3v

  • sony xperia is the best of all phone but it lacks 3G video calling that s very important this is why LG and Samsung are best seller

  • Actually, the Sony Xperia Z3v may have a slightly better battery than the Z3, but the Z3 has a slightly better camera. This is because the Z3v has the outdated Z2 lens. So it's a trade-off:battery for camera. I really love both phones their both superbly awesome; better than the GS5 in my opinion. Go look up the specs for the GS5 on gsmarena and you'll see why. 😜

  • good handset i like sony version handset

  • It's better than iPhone 6 or not either other headset also.

  • what a beautiful mob from SONY love this so much. i'm waiting for z4 with QHD + 64 bit system. xperia gonna swallow UP galaxy kids from SAMSUNG.

  • Supposedly this phone is still compatible with GSM networks as-well. One of the first Verizion phones I have seen that is going to be usable out of the box with other networks(at least according to reviews), I'm not sure if it is still compatible with international networks though it would be awesome for travel. It's nice to see Sony being more noticed in the high-end phone market again!

  • okay one is 16GB and the other one is 32GB

  • My xperia z1s is have a touchscreen problem lol sony

  • What is the difference between Z3 and z3v??? :)) 3200 mAh battery z3 3100 mAh battery. im very happy with my Z3. now just waiting for Z4.
