T-Mobile myTouch Q 2 - User Reviews

  • It is absolutely ridiculous! A 2010 specs mobile phone (absurd resolution, CPU,...), from a not so famous brand, but with a price equal to Xperia Z1!!!

  • never heared abt that knd of phone but looke like is so good and grat slide designed set

  • I want to get the full screen like the board i need it please some one can help me... Mytouch Q slide 4g

  • i want to know where to get lg c800 my touch accessary to buy, like screen and core

  • They do make a higher end device with better sPecs its called the mytouch 4g slide it has a dual core 1.2 or 1.4ghz processor 8mp camera very nice phone, I'm getting my HTC amaze fixed :) its better than the 4g slide do tour homework good phones do exist.

  • Not recommended because of poor reception of WiFi and tower signals. When signal strengths are 4+, I still don't get more than two bars, and many times have to reboot to get a web connection. My son has a low-end Alcatel phone in the same house with T-Mobile and has no connection problems. I'm switching to Samsung Galaxy S2 because I can't afford a higher-end no-contract phone. Even if it worked better, the keyboard is too small for my klutzy texting.

  • Good device expect the OS, really need ICS or JB update

  • waiting for CM or MIUI rom on it

  • Take a look at either the HTC One S or Samsung S2 or a Samsung Blaze. There are places that sell those phones in the $300 USD area.

  • Superb, brilliant, true comment that needs rectifying...When will we get high spec real hardware key smartfones again..You loose real estate for just one example,,take a 3inch screen with onscreen keyboard it gives you 1.5 inch of typing space...Take a 3 inch screen with slide down T9 or clamshell T9 or slide out qwerty and you get the full 3 inch. Also real buttons rule i hate tapping at a glass screen it irritates me.Plus real send/end keys so when you hang up a call you press a re-assuring click.

  • Yes here in the uk there has been NOTHING since the desire z, which I still use, what am I going to get now?! Even the relay 4g is crap low spec. Sort it out phone companies!!!!

  • Why Tmobile had Huawei built this slider phone?HTC would've been too expensive?

  • the only thing better about it is the 4g,it's not like it's the galaxy sIII.so they are the same thing.

  • I learned my lesson with the Sidekick 4G when it comes to mid-range devices. I have yet to experience Gingerbread...which means no CyanogenMod or MIUI. Just themed, customized Froyo roms from xda. Never again. I'll skip on this and wait for the Samsung Galaxy Relay 4G.

  • This one suck compared to the mytouch 4g. You see what had happened was that T-Mobile screwed up not giving it back to HTC to do it. I might get it cause it way better compared to the mytouch 3g I am busing right now but really Ill take 4g or that.

  • Well this has a better battery, larger screen and faster CPU than my current G2... so even though it doesn't have the latest hardware specs, I will probrably still upgrade to this just cuz it's the fastest available qwerty offering on T-Mo...

  • nice to see a qwerty back in the lineup

  • Another underpowered, underwhelming qwerty slide. This is the reason they are not selling. Not because people don't want physical qwerty sliders anymore. It's because these companies aren't making them good enough or up to date. Every time I see a new qwerty slider phone come out, it either has weak specs, such as this, or it's not even a smartphone, just a feature phone, which doesn't cut it anymore. When will a cellphone maker actually make a good, high spec(Android 4.0, dual core or higher, 8mp 1080p video camera, 720p screen or higher, etc) physical qwerty slider? It would sell like hotcakes, at least in my opinion. I'd definitely buy one. That's the reason I haven't upgraded from my T-mobile G2 yet, as I haven't seen any qwerty keyboard phone with equal or greater quality come out(which works with T-mobile, mind you). It's not that people don't want physical QWERTY smartphones anymore, it's that people don't want CHEAP, underpowered, inferior quality physical QWERTY keyboarded smartphones!!

  • 4.0..........ouch!
