vivo NEX 3 5G - User Reviews

  • The screens ppi density is at 363???, that's not a flagship that's a midrange phone, plus no gorilla glass NKT😠😠😠&#128544;

  • :D :D :D

  • 218.5 g is a normal weight for a phone? If I put it in my pockets, I will lose my trousers.

  • no :(

  • Your camera looks familiar (sharinggan)

  • The only problem with 5g devices, in gcc countrys, its all huawei 5g network, and only compatable devices can work with it

  • don't have stereo speaker !!

  • IP68+ "Useless" if it can't endure a tropical downpour.

  • Excellent phone in most aspects but not for me. I'm going with perfection. Thank GSM guys and vivo.

  • Your 10-month salary... And you say it's not expensive? Well, we all have different levels, I guess.. For me, it is 14-month salary combination

  • Is this a global model or domestic one like IQOO Pro 5G.

  • the top and bottom bezels are STILL there.no sd card slot.no NFC.no stereo speakers.no qhd display no wireless charging.no USB 3.0. no FM radio.no ir.no temperature or humidity sensor.smartphone but not smart enough.

  • nfc available in this mobile

  • Exactly. In airplanes, when roaming in countries (Like Dubai), where data is 30€/Megabyte (yes, you read it right). People have simple minds and very little experience. They cannot fathom anybody having needs, they don't themselves understand.

  • Iqoo pro 5g is better value for money consideringit has basically the same specs (of course excluding camera) and 2 extra advantages youre not gonna notice; screen res on iqoo pri 5g is 1080×2340 compared to Nex 3's 1080×2200(not exact, more than 2200 but can't remember

  • Which one is better this or iqoo pro 5g( if we took out the cameras)?

  • Which one is better this or iqoo pro 5g(if we took out the cameras)?

  • > 3.5mm jack: Yes ME GUSTA

  • rm4k+-

  • There are plenty of handsets out there that are midrange. There are plenty of handsets with flat screens instead of curved.

  • Is this phone available in nigeria

  • does it available in malaysia? if so how much is it?

  • If this didn't have curved edges it would've been the perfect phone. Waterfall display is a deal-breaker even though it looks beautiful, it's just too vulnerable.

  • please launch an affordable smartphone with a 5.5 inch screen or below 6 inches so it is simple in handheld especially for young people now with a weter drop camera model and a dual 2 rear camera just in the middle not on the side if possible at least a Snapdragon 450 / 63x can also be used Helio version P25 / P30 if Helio P22 / P35 is not suitable for gaming. thank you

  • your 5 month mine 10 month salary not expensive.

  • Does this device support wireless charging?

  • so expensive for me,that is 5 month my salary.

  • when can buy this?

  • My pleasure.

  • I just don't get it, why almost nobody uses USB 3.1 standard on type-c connection.

  • Hahaha love this

  • WTF you blabbing mate???

  • I am fine as i am. And card slot is burden now in world of cloud storage. Unless you luve in rainforest or in middle of sahara internet should be everywhere.

  • it this phone water proof

  • Hello shilling department? What if your cloud connection goes through an app? Do you suggest going through the effort to configure TOR node just to use it for a secure cloud transfer, which is going to be way slower because of going through all the nodes, which assumes your connection is fast and stable for TOR in the first place INSTEAD of just having the damn SD / UFS card and be done with it? And you're saying the guy, who just wants the card slot, is looking for problems. How about you reconsider your position and realize you are advocating against your own interests instead? Or for the very least ask for the shekels from the BIG Cloud lobby to compensate your efforts.

  • Please tell me that there will OIS not EIS on main camera :(

  • Sorry to spoil your troll, but I did have a water damage warranty cover for that phone. Consider myself lucky. :v

  • Even for the unsecured wifi you can change your VPN or use a brownser such as TOR problem solved. But you people are unable to think to solve the reasons you always just finding the problems.

  • Well it wasnt an accident you were careless. Dont disguise own mistakes as accident. It is costly gimmick. Even with IP68 you have no water damage warranty so whether you have IP68 or no it doesnt matter. Because if your phone gets water damage you have to pay the very expensive repair.

  • IP68 is costly gimmick? Keep on smoking weed, mate. I once had a phone with IP68. I was glad that the phone still works absolutely fine after accidentally slipped it from the trouser inside a deep bucket of water when helping my neighbour for a wedding feast.

  • In your world, WiFi is everywhere, but i don't, i need local storage to save all my content. And i would prefer to not be on a unsecured public WiFi...

  • Well i know that but thats only like a special exceptions.

  • I just realized something: There is no absolute difference whatsoever between this and the standard vivo NEX 3. From the Compare table, you are basically paying 90 EUR more for 5G tech. Right...

  • Doesn't necessarily mean it's work. All the time I've been using Bluetooth to transfer file, I only have like around 10% of success with it. Most of the time really boils me!

  • WiFi is everywhere? Best of luck saying that to less developed cities or districts. Even in places like around the lower end of Northern Malaysia, not all place have proper Internet connection. Some are stuck in 3G for like ages.

  • Card slot can be damaged same goes to cards. In present era where Wifi is everywhere and many cities around the globe have wifi free everywhere or even whole city is under wifi your comment seems laughable like from medieval age.

  • Absolutely wrong! SD cards are the thing of the future, almost literally. SD cards are instantly accessible, always faster than any cloud storage, and cheaper in the long run (as compared to proper cloud storage). More than that they are practically indestructible as compared to ROM storage. Most of the SD cards are shock-proof, waterproof, temperature proof (from -30C to 85C), impact proof (can be ran over by Trucks), magnetic-field proof and for the hell of it, they are invulnerable to X-rays. Cloud storage maybe practical for terabytes of data but then you need a reasonably fast internet and 256GB, 128GB SD cards are very cheap now. SD cards will be even more relevant when UFS cards are introduced. Anyone who is saying "muh Cloud Storage" are inadvertently against consumers. There is no argument for taking away 3.5mm jack or SD card slot, therefore this phone gets a pass. Nobody should buy it, so as to encourage the manufacturer to include SD card next time.

  • because you can have everything in one device.

  • Bluetooth still exists.

  • I do need MicroSD, what if i don't have internet connection or Data?

  • No stereo speaker No good resolution WHY

  • Cloud storage is way better than physical card and also more thing of future. And about NFC on a gogole play store there are hefty loads of apps which works same way.

  • All that is sueless. Radio can be ownloaded via google play. NFC also. And card slot is waste in world of cloud storages everywhere.

  • No 2k or 4k what??? learn to read specs pelase.

  • Because IP68 is costly giimick not worth the asking money. Any of current flagships is at least splash proof and thats more than enough. Nothing else is needed.

  • Man even the redmi K20 pro is at least splash proof Zac Nelson proven that this will be splash proof as well is good enough. For anything else use messengers bag and put your phone there or dont use it durring rain is that damn easy.

  • Yes, it was almost perfect, but no Card slot (and only 128/256GB models) and no NFC. Clearly ONLY for Asian markets.

  • What is the big deal about 1440P? Even the phones that come with it gives you an option to scale it down to 1080P,which is plenty sharp enough..

  • why not 1440p ?

  • No NFC, no Radio, no card slot ...

  • More beautiful than Note 10+ and entire Iphone 11 line-up to be honest.

  • Coming to the end of 2019 and yet no NFC.

  • It would be impossible for the phone to be waterproof because of the levitating camera. But I agree with you on the wireless charging. Most Chinese manufacturers skip out on it and I think it's disappointing because it's becoming increasingly popular among consumers

  • I don't think you can have IP68 with a pop-up camera.

  • Curve around displays are an egregious number spouting marketing BS and as a bonus to sales they are incredibly easy to crack and impossible to repair.

  • 167.4 mm... Are you kidding me?

  • waste phone no 2k or 4k ...no a flag ship

  • Why no ip68 about this flagship phone.. And wireless charging.. I am the fans of vivo nex.. Pls do something ok vivo.. Keep it up

  • Hope it has a global rom.

  • I hope this phone is supported here in the US, I would give up getting a OnePlus 7 Pro and get that of its supports US 4G bands

  • IP68 needed. Running in the rain strapped to the arm. No waterproofing, no deal!

  • Then can u tell us : has nex3 more display than nex1?

  • That's just the point - USB 2.0 is morally obsolete 10 years ago, they put typ-c, but leave a morally obsolete protocol that gives only losses everywhere from data transfer speed to power, why is it needed in 2019's flagship ?! there is no logic, the new controller could cost a little more, but how many bonuses you can get with real USB 3.0-3.1, given that the processor supports this out of the box.

  • Dude, that's just the communication standard. its a type c connector. but only communicates at usb 2.0 speeds. Unfortunately, very common still.

  • It says in the specs it has a width of 76.1 mm, if we measure the screen size of 6.89" with a resolution of 2256 x 1080 the width of the actual screen is 157.9mm L and 75.6mm W, this leads to a bezel of 0.5 mm on its width, this means that the actual display width is much narrower due to the much sharper curved angle of the display greater than that of the Galaxy Note 10 which makes the display on the curved edge a waste and doesnt serve any purpose just to make it look cool. This is like taking a paper and curving its edges at a 80 degree angle just to make it narrower.

  • It is strange that on the vivo Nex 3 5G smartphone the Funtouch 4.5 shell is installed, while on the vivo IQ00 Pro. 5G - Funtouch 9.1. Both devices work on Android 9.0 Pie.

  • WTF?! Usb 2.0? Seriously? There should be microUSB!

  • That's 2160p, which means 4k, lol

  • bro, what?

  • Not fps 2160p

  • 2160fps in 2019 with snapdragon 855+ ? For real ?

  • those 48 or 64 megapixel cameras are just gemmicks! they are wasting the power of SD855+ in garbage cameras

  • I hope there will be wireless charging :/
