  • I bought it today from Flipkart..I got it within 2 days..m facing a problem during downloading From play store.. what should I do?

  • Can any body answer me does its frame rate is constant 60 fps or it drops in hot drop?

  • About 45,000 BDT

  • no nfc? man

  • Playing online game with bluetooth on gonna cause your phone lagging..

  • what is the price of black shark 2 in bangladesh

  • It should have nfc and better if it comes with Android one support

  • I'm with you in this, at least the could have kept the elimination of the phonejack for the pro version only .

  • Can we do regular phone calls ?

  • No it's not

  • Also, you have a Type C to 3.5mm converter with the Box.

  • Why 3.5mm ! ? now it is the day of wireless earphones

  • No headphones jack and you call yourself a gaming phone! shame on you...and oh you're terribly ugly too

  • may I ask, how to update the OS of black shark 2?

  • Can play dual log in like ragnarok mobile..??

  • using shark space focuses on games only. if you want to watch youtube while playing then turn off the shark space and to use the tab option..

  • using shark space focuses on games only. if you want to watch youtube while playing then turn off the shark space and to use the tab option..

  • Sorry for the late reply and thank you for the such a good comment.

  • you think he got it boy? think again...i think you two are the one who saves a lot of porn to your phone...

  • Yet another GSM review that mentions camera lens issues. I had similar problems with my LG G4 a couple of years ago. I was able to solve the picture distortion by wiping the lens with an anti static cloth. Just saying ...

  • Come on! 256GB and still not enough for you? I understand because porn movies consume lots of storage. LOL!

  • Between black shark 2 and rog phone Black shark have better chip sd855 vs sd845 Rog look better and have better display 90hz Black shark 2 and it's accessories are way cheaper But in the end it's how you will use the phone. So pick something suitable for your needs

  • Rog better

  • Hello guys can somebody tell me which one is better ? ROG phone or Black shark 2

  • do you feel it is really hot when you charging it?

  • Nice feedback Can compare with Nubia Magic Mars 3 Almost same price higher a little BS2. Thanks And Gsmarena review. Please

  • I own this phone, there are several things to note. 1. It uses stock android and if i were to compare the UI with other long-time brands, the UI is not optimized. 2. There is no hope about software update and its hard to even flash this phone. 3. Blackshark has features which is SharkSpace, but mine has bug which my Ping when playing just stop while i can browsing youtube fine. I think its related to connection with wifi and searching for the answer is takes too much time right. 4. The screen is only average taste for me, and its not really bright, careful if you go to max too much, it will burn. So here comes the performance 1. I only play mobile legend but it did pay off good. The touchscreen also nice 2. The sounds is loud but i get it why some people turn off by it. You will feel the stereo in your hand. Yes your hand not your ear cause the vibration. But hey when you play isnt it cool and awesome cause it feel sturdy. 3. Since theres a chin and forehead with the phone, while horizontal gaming can help to avoid miss click by your palm. 4. The charging is nice but from the box, you got the average charger and average usb c. 5. The battery is awesome, yes ITS AWESOME. There is no gimmick about its battery, it is pure BEAST! Note: I got this phone for 8 million Rupiah in Indonesia, which is $565. Counting from the features, Cut of camera and headphone jack and no water resist. i really did prefer higher price with optimized features and software.

  • Check out

  • That price is for what memory only? Do you have any idea on how much is the 12GB ram 256GB internal memory for the shark 2? If so, where can i purchase a lower price for that memory.

  • I hope next (model) for camera, RYYB color sensor!!!.

  • A phone review please :)

  • mine still... xxxxMP1... no update yet

  • The name should be Black Baby Shark 2

  • Below 25kphp

  • Mi Black Shark 2 USB 3.0 = USB 3.1 Gen1 = USB 3.2 1x1 And Support Type C to HDMI

  • Use bluetooth earphone

  • Google drive & google photo , for other file, i not sure. For me is enough because google provide unlimited storage for you to store photo

  • Jesus, what is wrong with Xiaomi and crippling all their high end devices with no card slot? Where are you going to store your photos and music when all you internal storage is filled with game files?

  • No

  • Sir, did you play Mobile Legends with High Frame Rate?

  • black shark 2 have a NFC? please advice, i want to buy it

  • Got the Blackshark 2,have the issue wit GPS. How did you manage to get it work?

  • You can always use a dongle, it even comes with the box.

  • Yes u can buy it from their official website.

  • charger adapter to headset gadget.

  • A budget Gaming phone with no 3.5mm jack is a joke.

  • Would have been better if there was a 3.5mm Jack available on this phone.. I've got some expensive wired earphones and am not prepared to move on.

  • Yes

  • Is it coming also in Europe and so yes in which lands exactly?

  • 15.) NO MICRO SD I mean you could buy a zune with 128gb internal storage, and that was just for music, now you have a "gaming phone" with the same storage (or a larger 256gb) which won't even hold everything on my micro sd in my current phone, for me this is a pass

  • can i buy xiaomi mi9 from philippines

  • The Pros About Xiaomi Blackshark 2 Is That Have a 4000mah Big Capacity Battery And Newest Snapdragon 855 Inside It And The Liquid Cooling System. The Cons About Xiaomi Blackshark 2 Is It Have A Lousy Stereo Speaker And Its Too Thick And The Display To Body Ratio And Last Its Really Hard To Find Components For Its. All This Is My Opinion About Xiaomi BlackShark 2.

  • Watch TechTablet's review on YouTube and they noted there that Black Shark 2 has better display. The rest is on Mi 9.

  • Yes, all chinese version xiaomi phones by default can be installed with google playstore app.

  • HI, i am looking to buy a Chinese version of the phone, does theat version support Google app store? can i instal it on a Chinese version

  • Mi 9 or Black Shark 2? Is the main difference only on the camera?

  • cool how's your experience with the phone playing MLBB? does the low latency screen help alot in better gameplay?

  • When this phone going to launch in India ?

  • From my experience and from reading other reviews from various groups, China ROM gets a lot more updates than Global version. Camera for me is very nice. Not Pixel nice but still very good.

  • I have the 12GB RAM/256 China ROM version and for: #10 - I already updated twice with no problems. #11 - played Mobile Legends almost all day, had 5hrs 30mins SOT with 18% battery left #12 - I am actually impressed with how fast the in display finger print sensor is although I haven't used other brands with the same so I have no point of comparison. It's a great phone. Very fast and smooth. And yes no bloatware.

  • yes, it's gorilla glass

  • is it gorilla glass 6 or glass 5?

  • support 4g+? or 4g only in malaysia?

  • support 4g+ network in malaysia?

  • Nice phone

  • yeah ~~ i m also from MY. really amazing ~~ i giving 10 of 10 for this pricing ~

  • Hi bought the international 8gb ram 128gb rom with stock android in Malaysia. Following are my opinions: 1) the screen is amazing. Hdr support. Thumbs up. 2) pressure sensitive screen function is very good. Especially on games like pubg. Thumbs up. 3) shark space is very good. Overclocking, screen color setting, network setting, sound setting. These settings are only available for gaming related app and are not system wide. 4) gaming performance is great. No lag on all games i tried. 5) homescreen scrolling, opening app is smooth. 6) no bloatware. Very minimum apps installed. There is a plus side and negative side to this. It makes the experiense much smoother. Sadly the built-in functions are also minimum/basic. 7) speakers are stereo but the sound is muffled and not loud. No system wide equalizer built in. For example, on low volume, i cannot hear the voice in some youtube videos because the background music is louder. I think the "bass" is set higher and the "treble" is set lower than it should be. Had to install 3rd party equalizer from playstore to improve sound quality (which consumes more battery).. 8) no VoLTE support. Come on, this is 2019.... 9) no split screen multi tasking. (Which i believe was supposed to be native on android pie) 10) having issue with ota update. Update is available but cannot update. Checked on black shark official community forum and many people are having the same issue. 11) battery drain. With 1 hour of pubg, battery dont last the whole day. "Google" is consuming more battery than pubg.... Restricted "Google" background usage and used battery optimization but it still consumes alot of battery power. 12) in-display fingerprint is slow and not very accurate. Oddly especially when my fingers are dry. The new ota update supposed to address this but sadly like i mentioned above, unable to update.... 13) no widevine cdm L1 security. Only have L3 security. Cannot use HD setting on streaming services like Netflix, Amazon prime etc. Can watch on SD only. Very disappointed with this. Netflix HD and UHD would have been great on those amazing screen.. 14) no 3.5 headphone jack. But i dont mind this because the black shark official seller in Malaysia included a free bluetooth headphone. Thumbs up. I believe hardware wise, the global black shark 2 is almost flawless. But the stock android OS, firmware and software needs a lot of work. The OS looks like it was put together in a rush (maybe overnight). No optimization and missing a few key feature for a usd600+ (Malaysian MYR2499) smartphone. I heard the chinese version has much more functions. Black Shark 2 could have been a true Gaming Smartphone. They nailed the "Gaming" part but partially forgot about the "Smartphone" side. I sent mine to a nearby authorized service center. Hope they can solve some of the issues. I hope someone from Black Shark team will read this post.

  • if u purchase international ver, the JOY UI is almost same as stock android. I love it so mush

  • please review it.

  • Dark I love this phone

  • You just answered most of my questions about this phone, so your phone is running Joy UI, as it is a Chinese version, of course, sideloading apps is the best solution for China-based OSes, Google Cam ports also works, too, which is really really great. Also do you have a YouTube channel? I'm certain there are also people like me interested in knowing what it feels like to have the Black Shark 2 as a daily driver. Factors like, not having money to buy one, and if I've got money, doesn't want to waste it for a proven so-so expensive device, are what holds me back on buying this device. Your reviews would be very helpful. P.S. As Joy UI runs on the Chinese version, and a Stock Android powers the Global version, I am also concerned about the longevity of supports to be given to the device, those are, security patches, up to date, OS upgrades, as Android 10 Q is on its way, by the time of writing.

  • "Multilayer Liquid Cooling", check out their homepage for a full presentation

  • Okay, when are the major manufacturers going to really exploit the power of Snapdragon 845/855 chipset? Every-single-bloody-time there's something that's missing. Like in this case, an amazing hardware, but with the capability of shooting FHD videos at 60fps at least (with options for going as far as 240fps, which I know would hurt the battery, but just putting it here), they continue to ignore it.

  • I have been waiting for this specs.. is this phone already solved the problem of heating like the other xiaomi product?

  • I think i never find a phone suits to me, always one or more important thing is lacking. SD855, Front facing Stereo speakers, good battery/fast charge but camera is not in top ten, no water resistant, 3,5mm not so important, wireless charging, usb 3.1 :( Looking a phone with all that above in. HTC next flagship will may great for me but if its live.

  • Easily use a type-c to jack3.5 mm adapter

  • Remember, it's a gaming phone

  • Head jack type C

  • Buy from tao bao for much less prices

  • Hi. To whom did you get it from and how much. Thanks in advance.

  • Consider buying Bluetooth headphones? Costs around 800 least price

  • Been using this as my daily driver for more than a week now. Got it on China ROM (8/256 from a Philippine seller) so had to sideload Google Services and works good. No headphone jack but I'm always on bluetooth headsets so doesn't really bother me. The camera was so-so, but after installing Google Camera apk mod for the Mi8, I'd say it's a huge improvement. Do remember this is a gaming phone so cameras are not considered priority. Some games though are having issues being installed via Google Play so sideloading is the only answer. Got issue with the GPS location for a few days, it was more a hit-or-miss with that. GPS suddenly worked about 2 days ago from today. Battery life is so-so as well. But haven't experienced any lag or performance issue in terms of gaming. This coming from an iPhone user.

  • Gaming phone without a headphone jack or micro sd.... no thanks

  • Thanks, for me this is a real bummer since I regularly make payments with my phone. Oh well, will consider Mi9 most likely

  • Well it's a gaming phone so buy smthing else if u want a better camera.

  • There is no NFC.

  • All this and it can't even record 2160p60fps, like the much cheaper Xiaomi Pocophone F1

  • Cameras aren't high on the priority list for gaming phones or that particular demographic.

  • The most powerfull Phone of the world !

  • I am also interested if this phone has NFC or not, can someone please confirm ?

  • Lack of OIS in new Xiaomi smartphones is disappointing.

  • Thank you

  • No USB 3.0 so I can hook up to a monitor. Great.

  • No NFC?

  • I want this

  • You can purchase from their official store eu.blackshark.com

  • Where can I buy 12GB black colour?

  • Is the camera good?

  • Black whaaat lol don't know kids like this

  • You should know that SD855 base on 7nm so its more power battery power efficient than predecessor SD845 10nm, then 4000mAh just good enough

  • Well everybody have its pros and cons. I am also not a pope Francesco despite the fact i try to help at least 10 people a day with litterary anything just to cease my scars and wounds from times i was a teenager and a pure evil him self.

  • Since its a gaming phone? why not expanding its battery to 5000MAH

  • Man i have 2 songs in my phone one for ring tone other for alarm. 50GB songs for what sake??? Are you DJ or something???

  • ??? 64GB is more tha enough. 256 and a card slot wtf.

  • hello It has a 48mp and 12mp rear cameras... but with combining pixels and enhance them it take a 12mp super pixel size picture... You can choose between 12mp for a better color or more details in night or 48mp for a better details in day... good luck

  • Some youtubers say it has 2 12 mp rear cameras , some say its 48mp and 12 mp rear cameras , does anyone know which specification is true ?

  • not sure how it is usb2.0, but it supports usb-c to hdmi adapter

  • Why Xiaomi and other phone manufacturers don't add USB 3.1 Type C support on their phones? I'll get a new phone this year, ill get a Samsung again because of this. USB 2.0 is just too slow.

  • If that's so, then I guess it's just a matter of preference. I listen to YT songs too from time to time. I just think playing songs offline can be fun. Sorry for being rude earlier, I guess I was in a bad mood

  • Well, what I had in mind is its versatility - the only way I could play the music downloaded from a phone into, say an old or cheap radio/media player was by using, you know. Otherwise, it would be a 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm, but that's only focused on audio (I'm not sure about connecting those with USBs tho, so correct me on this pls) I'd say the two best things about microSDs is that you don't need wires, signals or an internet connection and the distance at which they can play content from point A to point B is limitless. You just need the card, the slot, those annoying pins (modern)/to turn off your phone (traditional), some hand skills and the adaptors for normal-sized SDs. When you get used to these factors, you just need to worry about the slot Other situations to consider, when you: -only use wires but (in a uncommon but still possible occasion) your phone breaks -only use cloud but can't backup that much before hitting a pay wall, and THEN need to dig around other clouds which prolongs your transfers -only use Bluetooth/WiFi but somehow the other device doesn't support it cuz they're old or doesn't have the parts -use only two of the above or all but you're still not convinced your data's secured The greatest instance in which microSDs shine is when they're *combined* with all those other methods. Then, I'd say you never have to worry about losing data again I'm not saying the slot is an absolute must for gamers or everyone else, but there still might be those who prefer microSDs as their go-to file transferring method Pro tip: My mom puts her slot pin in her purse/wallet. I totally had one of those "why didn't I think of that?" moments then Back to topic, a lack of microSD slots is not gonna affect the sales of this phone too much I reckon but the lack of 3.5 mm jack is too harsh for a phone meant for gaming. The only SD855 + 3.5 mm jack phones with fair availability are the vivo iQOO and the upcoming nubia Red Magic 3

  • Man for music i use youtube. In my phone i have just 2 songs one for a ring tone and other for alarm. Filling 50GB with useless song which can be run from a youtube with video in HD quality is just insane. I am not interested in that crap. Rest of you said makes no sense for me as well.

  • Missing your point here, there are still other 150gb, at least, after system files available to use, if you think about the speed of transfer, well, USB C is pretty fast these days.

  • Not really more expensive than the Mi9, that has very similar gaming specs...and you cant carry a laptop around all day, thats the point for people to buy "gaming" phones i guess.

  • Oh, well good luck downloading a little ~50 GB lossless songs on your 'gaming' phone, Captain If you wanna argue any further, let's start with microSD versus Bluetooth, WiFi Direct, video, movie and music streaming services, cloud storage and SSD. Wait, 7 against 1? That's a little unfair...

  • Man i am also a heavy gamer but i have 7 games in my phone total. How much you capable to play on a daily basis. I play for example clash of lords for more than a 4 years. Then i have idle miner a chess, mahjong, legendary heroes and a heartstone. Thats it.

  • Headphone Jack is a bummer. Gamers need to plug their earphones for better voice location of enemies in games like PUBG. 60Hz... Could have been better if 90HZ atleast but again it will increase cost Design is unique. Well.those who need a smooth performance oriented device with unique design Blackshark 2 is a go !

  • When it's going to release in India, its a good opportunity for xiaomi to release the mobile in India.

  • damn man I'm heavy gamer an even 3GB RAM is enough for me and my colleagues who joins tournaments, we can't even consume a 64GB phone how much more 256GB LoL

  • Idk why people wanna spend that much on a gaming "phone" when you can get an entry level gaming laptop with a gtx 1050 which can run most AAA titles with ease

  • Don't buy first, wait until it release version for support 5G network.

  • respons time 43,5ms wow so slow compare to competitive gaming need 10ms to play, and its still 60hz zzz

  • I still haven't understood even while looking at reviews if there's a camera bump or not and how much annoying it is. This is like the most important thing in a phone, what's the point of making a cool and slim phone if the moment you get it, you slap a disgusting cover that only makes it ugly looking...

  • Like the 256GB is not enough omg you are so funny.

  • Man jack is 150 years old ancient technology noone needs it noone wants it.

  • Man as long as you cant run any game from an SD Card slot the Micro SD is completely useless and obsollete.

  • Man its a gaming phone you know??? Which game can be run from SD card??? Noone. And which game requie jack to use to play??? Noone. So obsiollete and useless things were removed.

  • The screen is the same!

  • Design is the best part of the Black Shark

  • I prefer to wait for ZTE Nubia Red Magic 3

  • IQOO has wide angle camera vs the telephoto on the Black Shark, with subjectively better design. The Black Shark probably has better software and speakers and more accesories, if youre into mobile gaming. I'd go with the Xiaomi, if the design doesn't bother you

  • i like! very good

  • i think u are asking for higher price

  • Nobody needs those ancient features. We are in 2019 right now...

  • maybe type-c earphone?

  • No need Jack. Just use type C converter

  • Xiaomi black shark is a gaming mobile It give best performance and high graphics

  • IQOO or this?

  • It doesn't really bother me because I been getting rid of the use of headphone jack ever since Note II. It does sucks to be headphone jack users though. And No I don't use crappy headphones with built-in BT. I'm using BT amp with headphone jack and two of them because of battery life. Holding the phone is an issue having one but depends how they position the headphone jack like Asus Rog Phone with attachment because its not in the way when you hold it. It would be nice to have charging port and headphone jack one side but if they want gaming phone they should look into Asus RoG Phone. In case you need headphone amp when the time comes. Search EarStudio ES100

  • the box comes with usb type c - 3.5mm jack adapter....

  • A gaming phone without a headphone jack is a joke!! Don't bring it to India. No one is buying it !!.

  • a gamer phone without jack 3.5mm ? the best joke on 2019

  • Totally Agree with you. If the pads includes the jack, it could pass that issue since we can replace the pads, but not the jack.

  • One of the few line-ups from Xiaomi that will never succeed on the market. -The camera is the same one from 1st generation, slapped on and no innovation. That 48 mp is basically 4 pics together same as on the Redmi 7 -Different chipset (this is already well known by Xiaomi using the latest chipset so no big deal),ngl even the 835 is still amazing. -Increased screen size (as everyone is doing it these days) -Same battery.Same USB type, still no water resistance, same protection, still no 3.5,still no NFC. And if i really want a cool gamer phone i'd rather get Poco F1 or wait for F2.At least they are super worth the price and F1 gets updated almost every few weeks. I know this is a gamer phone and some things aren't needed. But Xiaomi's lack of any kind of innovation isn't going to get anyone's attention except the Chinese players. The phone here costs around 500 Euroes which is equal to Samsung S9 or LG's V40 and i would honestly buy a completed phone with all modern day features than this copy pasted waste.

  • It needs NFC and Jack at least to be good

  • This looks really poor compared to Razer and Asus ROG.

  • Reminds me meizu 16

  • no NFC, NO infraport, no wide angle camera, no wireless charging.. hmm thats missing much.. and at least no headphone jack and sd cards (again after all)

  • No SD Slot can kinda pass on me, but no headphone jack... I'm a Gamer, and a Headphone Jack, is a MUST for me.

  • gaming phone without 3.5 mm jack? no way

  • I'm having the same view as the other guys here... An SD card slot would be important for those who move their SD cards filled with custom songs for gaming; and of course the relatively lower input lag of wired earphones during gameplay compared to wireless is a must I'm kinda bummed why these guys waste so much space on these phones while their competitiors can put more dedicated features AND make them smaller

  • This news is disappointing for gamers who use headphones like me.

  • And USB 2.0 when there's 3.0 and 3.1.. But the major no-no is the lack of the SD card slot..

  • Best processor and GPU BUT UNFORTUNATELY No SD card. No headphone jack.

  • Hope the fast charge has Quickcharge capability and wireless charging
