Maybe you have the same problem as I, my mi note lte keep turning on and off by itself because it has a problem with battery. Go check your battery, bring your phone to the service center..

I just got a problem....i was trying to update my mi note 4 beta rom and accidentally deleted the os and system folder...mine was 64 gb verient ..then installed the os from a service center not from mi service center...after fixing my phone i got another problem the internal storage has reduced to 2 gb..how can fix this what i have to do

In 2018, and i dnt have any problem with my phone.. It run very well for me. Except, i have litle bit problem with battry & main camera.. Just that, and no more problem.. One thing, i get updated to miui 9 too.. And its work.

Good day mates, I have a simple question here and it would be GREAT if anyone could provide me the answer. I'm really dying to know this. I just got myself a new(original) Mi Note Lte recently as my secondary phone. I want to know what is the best (Bass) headphone for this phone. I'm searching for all round good sound, rock acoustic edm etc with a satisfying Bass. Bass that really bashes the brain but still Mantain the all round qualities, not killing it. I tried the Mi earphones like the pro hd, pistons and I can't really accept what it offers. I also noticed that the loudness of the headphone sound is not really high. So far, I have tried Sennheiser's CX series, IE 80 series, Sony Bass buds and quite a few more. But I truly feel that, the sound produced by those earphones in mi note is not it's fullest potential. Like something is always missing. Most of the times, it's the loudness. And the punchy Bass. So I thought, maybe theres a earphones out there which is the True fit for my mi and it offers what I need. So, if anyone, Anyone at all, could tell me that or suggest to me the best bud for my mi, I will be in your debt man. For real. I will truly appreciate it. Thanks, V.V R

Please check your battery, it happened to me also. Most of these phones battery last up to 3 years, so you might consider changing the battery. Good luck

yes, I like this function but now my phone not able to select both sim to be active together. Once I set the internet to sim2, sim 1 auto deactivated....Can only used 1 sim at a time, don't know what happen....

Yes i know that. What i meant is that you need to set the default SIM slot to use for internet. Refer to Setting > SIM cards & mobile networks -->> Default settings, at the bottom. This is a nice features as like i insert my prepaid SIM to slot 2 & the Postpaid SIM to slot 1. This is to avoid accidentally turn on the mobile data, which prepaid data is very expensive if i did not buy any data plan. Check it out!

It has volume wake up, but no double tap to wake up which is not really bothersome to me, I am running android 6.0 , my redmi note 2 is running 5.0, but both are running MIUI 8.0

This phone is one of the best buys you can get, 386ppi is clear and it doesn't really bother me coming from a LG G3 with over 500ppi, you can't really tell, camera is really good, esp manual settings, light photography...loudspeaker is very loud and very clear, higher than my redmi note 2...and I'm running android marshmellow. Unlike Huawei, I had a mate 7, there was no customer support from them and I was stuck on android kit kat, uptil now there is still no software updates, stick with Xiaomi and you will never go wrong.

I need advise cause i'm considering buying this phone but am a bit surprise that the price didn't drop that much after 1year as what I'm anticipating based on Mi4, which drop significantly. Could anyone let me know does it support volume wake up? or double tab to wake up without needing to root and install the software separately? And also, what is the latest android version? does it stay at 4.4.4 even though i believe MIUI will be updated to the latest version which I think should be 8? Reason i ask is because some of the apps or games that I will install usually required android 5 and above. Just want to make sure before I buy and regret later. Thanks and hoping to hear from Mi note users.

Both have 4G and mobile data, But only 1 SIM is acceptable for 4G &or Internet. But you need to identify which SIM slot for 4G and mobile data. Setting -> SIM cards & mobile networks at the bottom, at "DEFAULT SETTINGS" you need to specify which SIM to use.

From China FOR China use only. This is your mistake. On which Online shop that you made your purchase It is not fake, more likely other parallel importer include most malware preloaded apps. But don't worry, i did bought one "Xiaomi Redmi Note" that come with malware apps. I did manage to remove all malware apps and install Xiaomi apps & all Google apps. Go to (and sign up in forum, depend on country/region) Seek help form the forum and do some reading. Xiaomi phones are able to "Root", that was how i manage to remove all malware apps. You can try to check this from Xiaomi forum. I did not test it, as i am able to know what it fake or not. You are required to download "Google Installer" and install ALL Google apps in order to run as Android. Also available in MIUI forum &or website. Thats when the problems started, Firstly only one sim works at a time, when you have two sims inserted onlt recognises one, does not matter which sim it is in ? And yet my other fone the Redmi 2 , works fine with both sims, totaly confused how Xiaomi thinks this is okay. Now when i press on my contacts a message appears 'unfortunately the process .android.process.acore has stopped working' And every time you answer a txt or email, a new screen appears asking you to install 'Cm security app. Or Wi fi master key or numerous others, totally useless when you are just wanting to use your fone as how it was intended. Summary, beatiful looking fone, but totally useless as a dual sim and really annoying, i have contacted Xiaomi, who are totally useless, so anyone in the UK buy a different fone as this is crap

Phone is good but Disappointed. I purchased it from China and all apps and games in Chinese. Store in Mumbai cannot help no software to change app. just about to be a year and it fell and got cracked near the camera behind And since then battery draining very fast whole day charging. Good battery backup, idle time battery drain is less than 2% and stand around 1 n half days 5. Game play is awesome & graphics are well detailed, i played Asphalt 8, real racing & Modern combat5 6. No heating issues, even when playing intense games like above itz under 35-40 degree only. Con's 1. Only white colour is available, but a BLACK would have been beautiful & dirt free 2. Little slippery though have to handle it with both the hands always 3. No headphones with the retail pack, so if u wanna enjoy Hi-Fi get a 3rd party headset 4. Would have been good if pack had a bumper case or a back case like Moto X Style 5. MiUi 7 is still in Android Kitkat 4.4, when other manufacturers are updating to Android 6, Xiaomi z still 2 years back

Go for Mi Note. Just bought the second Note with 64GB. My first one is 8GB bought last month. The first one came with pre-loaded apps which are virus. Found a way to "root" (Xiaomi phone are able to root) and now, just get the 64GB online. Unless you find the phone too big 5.7". 4i is 5".

I got mine Xiaomi Mi Note almost 3 months ago and works perfectly. It is really fast and has no signs of slowing down as time goes by. Also battery life is really good. It lasts around 36hrs of normal use (My wifi and momile data is always turned on, and is sometimes connected to my Mi band wich connects via bloetooth), and I am surfing a lot. I absolutely love MIUI which is so slick and customizable. I fell in love with it as I had it as custom ROM on my Samsung Galaxy 4. Also, too bad there are no shops with xiaomi products, but there are a lot of online retailers such as honourbuy, dealexreme or gearbest that ship worldwide. I am a hugfe fan of xiaomi, and I also have Xiaoyi sport camera and Mi band. I am super happy with these products as well. I think that this is great product, expecially concerning its price.

I've been using xiaomi mi note lte 64gb since 14 june 2015. Till now everything ok. Battery life is good. It can stand all they long, altought it always connect to mi band and sometimes with cookoo watch (which is always use bluetooth), and often connect to wifi in public area. About the design, so exclusive and lux I think. Hehehe. The 64gb internal memory is big enough. So there is no problem with no external storage slot. If your memory almost full, just plug otg usb. But the only thing make me uncomfort is: if we use the front camera, the cell phone become hot, too hot to put on ear. But, overall, I love this cell phone.

Do you know brother, everything uses in Mobile's- battery, display, body comes from china. But you know samsung that is the reputed brand thats why you are saying that. But check inside the mobile phone, every part from China. You say it modernization to have a such type of mobiles but i think Mobile company makes us fool. At least Xiaomi mi comes from China and we know this fact. But samsung, LG, Micromex, Lenovo ect. hide this fact.

Yes you will regret as Mi Note currently selling in Singapore is China specs unit, not meant for global market, the band might not suitable for your country, the google apps also sude loaded, the firmware might still in Chinese, official MiNote for global market not yet launch, try wait a little bit longer for official global specs.

As I have been impressed by the Note, I now have the Note Pro. I will post review about it in the Note Pro thread. One great thing on Pro is that both sims are now 4G/LTE capable and working with both Globe and Smart 4G networks in the Philippines.

what they say about the smoothness of the surface is very true tho - it has literally slid off a table a couple of times so far before! The good news is, the gorilla glass is really quite strong. After falling a few times from waist height, the only sign of any damage is a thin line (i wouldn't call it a crack) on the side of the screen. Back looks ok. But if you want to get this, should consider a cover to 'unsmooth' it!

Let's get the bad things out of the way. It is not a natural android phone. It is best experienced as a Chinese phone in China. There are some challenges with getting google contacts synced, Good technology, etc. The similarities with the iPhone 6 plus are staggering - all in a good sense. A very similar great screen, the same high quality build and buttery smooth operations. Two important differences with the 6 plus. First, it allows dual sim cards. Very valuable for travels. Second, it is almost exactly half the price. If you're an Android user like me, its a no brainer. If you're an IOS guy, then you have to think about the switching cost. GSMarena has given it a very low battery life score. This simply isn't consistent with the specs (3000 mah battery with just a full HD screen) and my experience. After using it from 7am till 830 pm, I have 35% battery life left. This is after using it very intensely - texting, Bloomberg, watching videos, taking photos. In particular, the standby battery life is impressive - the battery hardly drops when you're not using it, even with Bloomberg and all the chats updating in the background. In comparison, my previous LG G2 Pro got a better battery score on this site but would be below 20% well before night. I almost didn't buy this phone because of a fear of a bad battery life. I'm glad I did more research and came to my own conclusions. Just one more thing: I'd seriously consider paying up for the 64gb version. It is about $80 more than the 16gb but you don't have to worry ever again about what you download or which video you take and keep. That freedom of mind is worth every cent!

I agree with what this guy is saying... In all the videos which show the back of the phone at an angle one can CLEARLY see that there is a large and uneven gap on the left where the rear curved glass meets the side metal. It's present in all video reviews from whichever site. On the right hand side the gap is smaller but still it's there. This shows that Xiaomi hasn't perfected this difficult design and they will have to redo the dies/manufacturing lines to rectify this problem. Otherwise it will be present in ALL sets just to a varying degree (ie. more on some less in others but present nevertheless)

i don't know why people give such a hi rating on this phone , i believe because e of its Spec i guess, but trust me i used this phone and the bottom line is build quality of this phone is not that good. even one plus is far more better than this one. for such a hi price of this phone they should build it much more stronger. if you look carefully you can see clearly the gap between the pack part and the main body which is bad because if you keep it in a tight pocket it can create more gap and even your sweet goes inside. and rain the is far away from the question.

I'm living in China and I use a Xiaomi phone. you can download using any browser through Google search. there's even an international version of the Xiaomi OS called MUIU from the official website, Www.mi.com you can select an OS for any Major country and language. you can even install this most user friendly OS to non-Xiaomi phones .

It is good and I love it. The only issue is that it has not had International ROM and the current one is only for China at this moment. Adding Google Framework does have some issues compared with real international ROM. Just wait for the ROM deployment and it is indeed a great phone. I love it.

That's not true. I own one and the battery easily lasts 24hours with normal use.lets say it's comparable to the Samsung galaxy note 4. They tweaked it with stellar software to reduce the battery usage

Checked if the SMS centre no is filled in. Messages - Settings - advanced settings - SMS Center No. Had same problem when I 1st had my redmi. Can received not sending. Tried entering the message centre# but it get deleted as I exit from the menu. Sent my phone to service centre for repair but they couldn't figure it out why. Took it to my network provider, they register it on diff phone, and reinsert the SIM card into my redmi. And voila! It works.

I have been using this phone for a month. It's awesome. The specs truly live up to expectations. Only downside is that it's slippery since the back is also glass. Battery lasts for 2 days. That's both data and wifi switched on. Sync is also on. You don't need extra storage for the 64gb model Camera is fantastic and better than Samsung Note 3. Love the age showing when doing a selfie. Processing is flawless due to the snapdragon power and 3gb memory. Lte works with Globe and not with Smart. It's dual sim so not a problem. Agai, aawesome phone.

1. Easy to install Google apps / Play Store 2. Simple to switch language to English. MIUI is a great ROM with constant updates and a worldwide support base in terms of languages. I have to say, side-by-side with my Note 4, this thing really does hold its own. Yes, there's no removable battery nor S-Pen which are killer Samsung features but that's the price premium you decide on (or not).

Managed to get one today despite them selling out ridiculously fast in the flash sales (resellers with bots buying stock). Although this isn't the Pro 2k version, next to my Note 4, it still looks and performs really well. I actually prefer the 1080p display as to many 3D games lag on the Note 4 after 5 minutes of gameplay. Need much better GPU and software optimisation before 2K is smooth. And 386ppi is hardly low-res. Simply put, at 43% cost of a Note 4 or 40% of a 6 Plus, lots of people will forgo a heart rate sensor and fingerprint scanner.

Hello guys, I have the phone for several days already and I can tell you - it is an amazing masterpiece from Xiaomi. This is their best quality product - I have a Hongmi, Mi2s, Mi3 and MiPad, but that one is the very best. The screen is first class, better than any display I've seen on a smartphone, processor and RAM are more than enough, front camera is the best ever and the back one is very capable too - even at night photos, very very thin and elegant design and the battery life is more that I expected. Sound quality is hi-end also. I can tell you this is the best phone ever. I've got the 16GB version which has 12.54GB free storage after first boot. Everything about the phone is just great.

The next Xiaomi phone that will launch in India (after the 64gb version of Mi4) is most likely the Redmi 2 since they have discontinued the redmi and need some other model to fill the less than 10k Rs segment (since they don't have any phn less than 9999 rs presently). It is also likely they will launch the 1gb/8gb version of the redmi first instead of directly launching the 2gb/16gb version since they have cultivated a habit of fleecing Indian customers. 16gb/2gb version might launch at 8k with the 8gb/1gb version at the usual 6k mark.

Most likely a very long period of time, XiaoMi is always having a hard time making their phones officially out of their mainland. Mi4 was released in India nearly a year after it was released in China, so you can't really expect the Mi Note to be launched in India instantly after it's launch in China.

I think Xiaomi not as cheap as people think. They only reduce some of the things in specifications or components so that the price can be cheaper. Unlike major brands like Samsung, Sony, LG, or HTC that provides a comprehensive specifications. That's why major brands are always more expensive.
