Xiaomi Pocophone F1 - User Reviews

  • Use google camera mod. You will love it

  • So my camera on Poco F1 went crazy. On night mode it switched to front camera( cant change it). If you try to go on portrait/ slow motion it gets camera error. Plus the video and photo quality went to shit. Had this problem once before and system reset fixed it, but now it doesnt help. Anyone experienced this problem and know how to fix it?

  • Never had any problem with mine. Its a January 2019 build. Can't remember what screen, but you can't find that info now, but it's not the original panel these phones came with. I didn't realise this problem still existed?

  • The latest browser version is horrible. How can I go back to an older one? Trying to download older APK do not work.

  • couldn't agree more! performance is snappy...

  • they are both flasgship phone..i got my Poco 10months ago..Well sometimes i got issues just a little bit regarding with the updates..But overallabout perfromace its Pretty cool, i tried already BETA then i go back to Stable for MIUI 11..There is a big difference about the updates. Mi8 is a good phone you better choose the 8gbRAM/128gb storage variant..I mean its really looks premium build than poco. (Although we all know about the secret of transparent back case of mi8..heheh)

  • This device is impressive just because of it's Sock & battery. I bought it last year in August on 1st flash sale. There was no issue until Feb 2019 but by my mistake the display got broken and the replacement display had ghost touch issue and again the only solution was to replace the screen again. So I had to replace display for three times but no complaints.

  • Same with me. The Snapdragon 845 is really unbeatable by any device a the price. I also bought my device last month after long research and I am happy with it.

  • when the device comes out, many users were crying about it. But at the price, it offers so high performance that for me it is not an issue at all. Yes, I have the device, but I have not seen any such bleeding. The only thing bleeds is my enemies in "Call of duty: Mobile". When I shoot them with my Assult Rifle. Regards.

  • If you want 4 back cameras and your main need is photography, then Mi Note 8 is the best for you. you can easily go for the 6GB/128 variant. But if you need performance or a gamer just like me, then F1 is the better choice. I have bought the 6 GB/128 GB variant almost one month ago to start some serious game streaming as an alternate hobby and money flowing source. Though it is a one-year-old model, still the snapdragon 845 SoC is giant and it renders every game at high to very high settings. "Call Of duty; Mobile" which is my passion now renders so well, I mean shadows, lens flare, blood spitting, smoke, water reflection, etc looks so beautiful and convincing, I played this game on the J7 Prime 2 and it felt like a game, but in F1 it is like a real movie. Anyway, I will go for the Redmi 8 Note in February or next summer to replace my J7 Prime 2. I am impressed by the quad back camera set up of it and it will be a perfect device for mobile photography. Regards and respect.

  • Mi 8 or Pocophone F1?? I'm in dilemma choosing these 2 phones..

  • I have not faced any such issue. And i am also not sure how it what app your using. I will advice your to reset the device. Anyway it is always a good idea to to a factory reset after a new OS upgrade.

  • Follow these steps. 1. Remove all unused apps. Keep only the one which you uses. 2. Disable "Second space" unless you want a different set up for office use. 3. Using a big memory card such as 128/256 GB also consumes battery. I dony use any memory card with my F1 as i have 2 SiMs and 128 GB built in memory is enough for me. 4. Try to use your device smart way, e.g keep the device silent in night, or use auto on/off when you are sleep, or disable every unused sensor not in use etc 5. Use only a authentic charger, don't use any other. I hope my tips helps. As for me I am getting a typical one day with medium gaming with call of duty and NFS No Limit.

  • Poco F1 is not popular for camera, but it's Snapdragon 845 SoC and performance. It is the best gaming device under 300$. I bought one myself last month for playing call of duty and PUBG last month. As for camera, you can try Redmi Note 8 at 10k or about 150$ which has 4 camera in back. Or you may try new Moto zoom, One or action, even Moto G8+ has very good camera.

  • Just bought the 6/64 one at 170usd only🙀 Black Friday deals, updated to miui 11 and the phone is super awesome!!!! Butter smooth...🔥🔥🔥🔥

  • I recently bought pocophone F1. Everything is fine and snappy and I loving this phone! But one issue, I have little display bleeding issue bottom of my display.... Is everyone have the same problem?

  • you can install lineageos on your poco if don't like miui

  • You can buy Huawei p30 lite or Mi A3 or Galaxy A50

  • Is there any smartphone that is having a better camera and cheaper than poco f1?

  • battery quickly draining.... nd poco f1 not upgradble to android 10 ? any one know pls make a reply thanks :)

  • It's not the video streaming as I rarely video stream. I'll still buy it because of The memory, the SoC (SD845 is still great). Plastic, but sturdy construction. 3.5 Audio Jack. FM Radio. And most important of all is the expandability. That's one of my main reasons why I'm so obsessed with this phone. Even though it has 2018 flagship specs It's good enough for me to buy at the end of 2019.

  • Has facing problem in automatically reading mode after the miui 11 update in Indian variant.. Most of the notification are disappeared from notification panel in the apps secured by applock. Poco developer should work on in it n request to bring android q update soon

  • After MiUI 11, the phone is even better. Buttery smooth performance, most bugs have vanished and overall feels like a new phone. I was planning to replace my F1 with the Mi Note 10, but after the last update it will stick around for a while.

  • After one year, still working perfectly, even better with MIUI 11. Fyi, the Pocophone F1 is also compatible with Galileo system.

  • My 4G connection isn't working anymore after the miui 11 update tips are welcome

  • Finger print option vanished from my poco F1.... please help me

  • Best phone I've ever owned hands down. Notifications are now permanent in MIUI 11 which is great. Installed gcam and the camera is simply amazing.

  • Both OPPO Reno Ace, Realme X2 Pro doesn't have micro SD slot. However, these have 90hz display but dew drop notch, latest 855+, also have Super Fast Charging of 65W and 50W. But for price wise, you may find the latest K20 Pro Premium might still priced cheaper than those, despite no 90hz display, also only support 27W charging speed.

  • Miui 11 has improved speed of the phone and a sound bug from miui 10 is gone,, i am liking the dark mode on it. This is definitely the best phone i have ever owed. Hope we receive the android 10 update

  • Poco F2 is the Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro / Xiaomi Mi9T Pro there won't be a Poco F2

  • Still got no update for MIUI on my phone. Anyways, did it improve any phone performance? Thank you.

  • Good phone overall but the notification issue is a huge turn off. hope miui 11 fixes this.

  • Im still waiting for poco f2 but in the meantime I have my eyes on oppo reno ace...it also has sd car...

  • Got Miui 11 update two days ago and it's amazing and most importantly battery life improved

  • I got an update miui 11, all of a sudden the update disappeared, I checked for update in settings but it was no longer there

  • You should get realme x2 pro, amazing phone...waiting till it will arive to europe.

  • It was pulled out by the dev and you have to wait for a week or two to have it appear again. If you want to update it now you can do it manually by downloading the rom separately and install it via updater

  • So guys any news about Poco F2 or should I just give up? :(

  • I got MIUI 11 update and i download it then option shows to rebot the phone then disappear the rebot option...and when i check for update theres no update now.Has anyone experience this?

  • Yes I have MIUI 11 since yesterday

  • Still Best

  • Is anyone got the miui 11 stable OTA update on pocophone f1 global?

  • Does anyone else experiencing sound issues after miui 10.3.8 update Low volume and crackling sound when phone is ringing

  • Less than 200 quid now got Mi8 and Mi Mix 2S at my country, also can get Honor View 20. Around 300 quid, definitely can get K20 Pro/Mi9T Pro, and Mi9. I would still recommend spend a little bit more and get Mi9T Pro, evem can consider getting Oneplus 7 at around the same price. These comes with better build, AMOLED screen, NFC. 1 year is already considered long for a smartphone. Smartphone technology get renewed almost as fast for half year period.

  • The Poco was released just over a year ago, so hardly old. Most people wouldnt even notice the difference between a snapdragon 845 and 855. I could go on, but for 200 odd quid, it's still an excellent smartphone to buy.

  • Except one of the most important bits, which is the software. Obviously fine if you like the Meizu offering, but I don't, and miui works well for me

  • poco f1 is getting miui 11 now. But still in android pie. I think they will add android 10 next stable update.

  • Yes, Meizu 16T is definitely the next cheapest SD855 smartphone, no doubt about that. All smartphone launch later definitely will be better. I don't even recommend this Pocophone F1 right now. If Meizu doesn't launch the Meizu 16T, will recommend getting K20 Pro or Mi9T Pro instead. My point is you should go compare with K20 Pro or Mi9T, or even Mi9, Oneplus 7, not this old Pocophone F1.

  • Except those phones you mentioned are more expensive than Meizu 16T, and still don't have better specs! I am not going to prefer to buy pocophone F1 or those that you listed over Meizu 16T, and the different date of release of pocophone doesn't change that. Late 2020 phones may be better than Meizu 16T in the same price range, but they are not here yet. So for someone who buys a phone now, they are not available. So we compare with what's here, and not with what's not here. I have yet to see the camera quality of Meizu 16T. But judging from their previous models, the camera and sound might just be great.

  • Please could someone tell me where the Quick pane screen has gone? It used to be to the left of the Home screen, but seems to have disappeared. Has it been discontinued in a recent firmware update, or have I turned it off accidently?

  • Comparing a 2019 smartphone with a 2018 smartphone? If everyone is comparing just like this way, then I can say any flagship smartphone launch in year 2020 confirm is much better than the Meizu 16T in every way. You should compare Meizu 16T to Redmi Mi9T Pro/ K20 Pro, not this Pocophone F1.

  • with a silicone case and tempered glass many times and it havent broke yet thank god A++

  • Many times,still going strong

  • All my videos have good sound.

  • For those that own this phone how many times have you dropped it? and has it broken?

  • Yeah Meizu 16T is price about the same, but better specs. Can't wait for it to come out.

  • This phone is inferior to Meizu 16T in almost every way. And let's not forget Xiaomi's famous terrible sound when recording videos. I don't know if it's present in this phone, but I am not risking it.

  • After using this phone for 1 year, I'm really satisfied with it. I know, every smartphone has issues, but this phone is what it is, the cheapest SD845 smartphone that you can buy at that time, with cut corners. It is for it's intended market, for it's intended user, who appreciate it's performance it brings at low price. Yes, it doesn't comparable to smartphone that is higher price, but it is good at it's selling price.

  • Here is the 2 edges answer. I think any smartphone with type C port support the so called QC4.0, QC4+, as it is actually USB-PD. The only thing differ would be the charging speed, the voltage and ampere drawn. I have tested a lot of them, this Poco F1 charge at 9V 1.6A, around 15W with QC4.0/QC4+ charger, is actually a bit slower than when using QC3.0, which operate at 6V 3A, 18W. However, both charge full at around the same time, from 0 to 100% around 2 hours. So, my advise is, you no need look for QC4.0/QC4+ charger for this Pocophone F1, as it doesn't increase the charging speed than QC3.0. Using quick charge is quite difficult to say will affect battery life time. It is depend on the quality of battery, not really direct related to quick charge itself. However, every battery will degrade no matter if you use quick charge or not.

  • Now it is my long term review, after one year: It is all the good things you hear about it, non of the bad .... at first it had one or two issues and now even those are gone(still none of them were like what i was hearing around the time...they were minor and never made me restart my phone) ..... from day one till now it only once got out of power and even that was due to overnight downloading ... so no restarts due to crash or getting out of power for me only due to occasional updates. while back camera is above average(infact in very good category) but about front camera because of lack of autofocus in front facing camera it is not what you really want... it is still very nice for Instagram but if quality of selfies really matters to you don't buy this phone.

  • Xiaomi has gotten so many quality issues in the past few years. The frame allows more customization while there will be more bugs. OV obviously beats Xiaomi in $300 - $400 market this year.

  • You hanged a Snapdragon 845 SoC in your F1? What do you run? I just bought a new one and even PUBG runs smooth on HD without heating/hanging. And Call of Duty looks absolutely stunning. I am pretty happy with it. If anyone needs performance, then this one is the best under 20k. Other then that go for Nubia Magic 3S which is the coolest device for now.

  • I am using Poco f1 since 9 months & its a dud in front of oneplus 7. Pocofone has many issues like hanging midway, other glitches etc. no comparison even between pocofone & oneplus 7.

  • Always buy the latest tech product dude. 7T/7T pro is a better pick. Oppo Reno Ace also a good choice.

  • Op7 is a joke!

  • Not yet, Anyone Else?

  • Miui 11 enyone?

  • Oneplus 7 is better than Pocophone F1. Also consider Redmi Note 8 pro

  • I have decided to start own game streaming as serious hobby for now. And decided to go for a 6GB/128GB model under 20K with snapdragon SoC. Last year it could have been only F1, but today it is very hard as so many models are there. So, I decided to do research and finally chose F1. Bought it from a local store, cost me about few 1k more, but at least they checked the device and I set up it on this shop. Anyway come to device. My review: 1. Build quality is solid, feels very premium. I have used the A50 and A70 in family and this device is as per them. 2. Display, it is also good, not as bright as Amoled (which has too bright colors). 3. Camera is also enough for casual photos. Took some selfie and night shots, they are good. But I need some note say to tweak the settings in the camera app. 4. U.I.is fast, neat and clean. The poco launcher is super cool with themes and cuatomization. The device comes with very few apps like Mi and google one. No annoying Microsoft apps or Samsung apps (I am galaxy user). 5. Performance. This is my most favorite part. I palyed the "Call of duty: Mobile" in high settings and it looks amazing. I mean the shadows, blood effect, blast effect, smoke eveything looks so convincing. Same with PUBG, It started with HD settings, I palyed my first game on "Miramar" as solo mode and won my first game as everything is so crsytel clear. 5. The battery life is also very good. It lasts long for one day with moderate use. Overall I am pretty happy and satisfied with the device. At near 15K.it is the best considering the snapdragon 845 SoC. last but not least the "Game booster" app which is best to run the games. Today I got some major ans minor OS/security patch updates which made the device run faster.

  • 1+

  • I'm planning to buy a phone next month. I'm choosing between Poco F1 and OnePlus 7. Which one is better? Performance, security and camera is important for me. Thank you.

  • Nopes. Waiting on it.. Redmi K20 is getting it seems but no news on POCO.

  • nice phone

  • I bought the kevlar version, as I don't really like larger phones, and putting a case on the Poco, even a thin one makes it too wide, bulky and heavy for me. It's stood up well with six months use. Decent amount of grip in the hand. Have got a screen protector on though....

  • anybody here have miui 11 already?

  • It's antutu 8.0, and that upgrade got higher scores

  • Damn't, after updating my antutu benchmark application, now my poco has been score up to 447581

  • Is poco compatible with qc 4.0+ because some people say this but they also talk about pd adapters and something that I don't understand . plz tell me do I can use any charger or a special one also does using the qc 4.0 or qc 4+ affect the battery life or it is like any other phone with the qc 4

  • This is unrelated but what happened to the >2000 -

  • Can't downland the update Android Security Patch Stable 158M on my Pocophone F1, global version, even after multiple attempts. Repeatedly says, "Can't download. Something went wrong. Try again." Reported the problem to support.xiaomi couple of weeks back, but no response so far. Anybody facing the same problem!?

  • 440 ppi.. Not 403 ppi

  • poco is a super durable little evil. just wear it with a nice screeen protector, and a SPIGEN case and you will be a happy user. I loved these things on this phone: 1. the 2 days battery 2. ultra high speed fingerprint 3. durability

  • Would you guys recommend the Poco or the LG V30 provided the LG is $100AU cheaper.

  • How is everybody Pocophone going in terms of durability? Have you used a case? Has the screen broken easily?

  • yea it a great phone and taking a good picture also but do poco still have a issues with ghost touch/ screen burning. i have a issues with that on my poco 6/128Gb (Global) and almost user Poco have a same issue as i but now i'm swtich phone to other brand and i hope their a chance To make a Poco F2 without any issues .. poco sometimes playing pubg or Ros some button will touch by it self (Ghost touch issues) and missed touching.

  • If you want performance Poco F1 definitely

  • Poco f1

  • Yes

  • What is more worth it to buy right now? Pocophone F1 or Redmi Note 8 Pro? I'm looking for the one that performs better.

  • You're wrong. I disabled dev. opt., and it's off now.

  • Beware, once you enabled Developer Options, it will not actually turn off! Even if you switched it to off, it is oddly still enabled (visual indicator of the switch lied to me)! Played a game called FGO (it has very good anti-hack measures), it detects that your phone is in developer mode (hackers are usually in this mode to modify their phones) even after you switched the mode off. The only fix is to, sadly, hard reset your phone, yeah, Factory Reset...

  • when so many newer phones are in the market why r u hung up on this one ? there are streaming video issues also....

  • hi all is the mate 10 good phone ?? it cost 250$ now , did you recommended it ??

  • It's not a fake poco. The global phlocophone was launched in India as Poco. It's the exact same phone by Xiaomi

  • 46 More days and I'll get this. Hopefully there will still be stocks of this phone at the end of November. Aiming for 256gb ROM/8gb RAM armored edition but realistic purchase will be 128gb ROM/6gb RAM Rosso Red. Still want to go with 128gb ROM/6gb RAM Armored edition though. Crossing fingers until 11/30/19...

  • beware from the fake poco from india. better go for global version pocophone

  • i dont have problem too

  • It's dual LTE support or not ? Poco f 2 come or not in india?

  • I got no problem on my poco. Maybe your apps got problem. Try reinstall.

  • Would they release android 10 for this device?

  • Touch issue's while playing pubg. Couldn't scope in properly.

  • poco has better camera and better battery backup. also it has microsd card support and liqid cooling. but 2s is a stylish phone and its screen is attractive

  • i love my poco. using poco f1 256gb 8gb ram.

  • hey guys let me know which better between pocophone f1 and mi mix 2s both are close same price

  • f1 better

  • Are you joking or what? I type/text a lot on phone...

  • dont byu it...when you type it make errors

  • is now poco f1 upgrade ?

  • F2

  • hey, i have one of the pocophones if you care about headphone jack , memory slot ,and dont mind the plastic go for poco the mi 8 has a better build quality , nicer screen , lighter as for battery life they're basically the same as one use IPS panel and the other uses AMOLED for me i cant have a phone without headphone jack

  • I need help, can't decide which one to buy. Xiaomi Mi 8 or Pocophone F1, both cost same in my country (new). Or wait for Pocophone F2?

  • Yes pocophone f1 still has a more powerful chipset than Mi 9t but camera and display isn't comparable to Mi 9t. Pocophone f1 also has stereo speakers and IR Face unlock which Mi 9t doesn't have

  • One month use totally dissatisfied experience performance and display don't buy 😥

  • Had it for 9 months at first it keeps on rebooting itself before the phone switched off itself and won't restart and wont charge (white led charging inducator off) Sent for check and technician not able to detect problem. Since changed cracked screen earlier warranty not covered. Wasted money on this phone

  • I own both phones , I can say that the k20 has a better display.

  • Yes. Still using the phone no complains at all

  • 1 word, F A S T !!!

  • Hi , Can we update the kernel over base miui, do we need to unlock the bootloader for it ?

  • does poco f1 is still wise/great to buy at this time? as i know poco f1 is low cost than mi 9t and mi 9t pro.. thank you.

  • Go for mo 9t pro.

  • Deffo the 9T pro - In my country (UK) it's currently 20% cheaper than the plain 9. It seems to have everything you'd want out of a gaming machine including a 2019 flagship chipset, gaming-orientated cooling etc. Pay a little more, get a lot more. I've got the F1, it was a surprise (especially the camera - not lying when I say nearly all results just looked better than my Mate 10 Pro), but I'd expect the 9T Pro to spank it. Price difference is currently minimal too between the 9T Pro and F1 in this country (although I got my F1 in a flash sale 33% off, a month or so ago).

  • Both f1 and 9t pro are quite similar on terms of gaming, there´s not a lot of games actually that use all the improvement´s on both gpus, however the adreno 640 on the 9t pro is about 20 percent more efficient on energy

  • hi, anyone help me to choose between poco f1, mi 9t or mi 9t pro? which is better? i am mid-gamer user. thank you..

  • bro i only got the version before that one which is 7 not 8 , so do you know when will it become available for download ?

  • Ghost touch bleeding come on man just take it

  • by 100 miles Pocophone kills it!!

  • got this beast international variant 64gb. have to say its the best value for money phone with rock solid performance. Samsung A50 and others dont come close to its performance. snapdragon 845 and the battery 4000mah lasts 24hrs+ easy. pubg performance is awesome too. Go for it in a heartbeat ;-)

  • All I can say is that you have to test one yourself either through a friend on in retail shop. Hard to find it in retail it's almost 100% online sold only. Best idea would be pretend you want to buy a used one and ask the seller if you can test it shortly, tell him you are unsure if you like the model and test it if he agrees look at screen bleeding and test touch.

  • I am confused between this and the A50, i know this has better CPU/GPU/RAM but i am worried about screen as almost all issues reported are about ghost touch or bleeding. what do y'all think?

  • poco f1

  • Redmi note 8 pro or Pocophone F1 is better?

  • go for the legendary pocophone f1. no regrets!

  • Lol, this is not a problem, its like that with any phone.

  • Hey bro, just update your miui to the latest firmware which is miui 10.3.8.0. Touch issue was already resolve with this update. Im using FTS screen. Hope it helps.

  • Just update your miui to the latest firmware which is miui 10.3.8.0. Touch issue was already resolved with this update. Im using FTS screen.

  • This phone has ghost touch..dont buy this phone.. save your money

  • I've been using this device close to a year now and I'm Happy With the device Still. It does what I expect from it. No Lags, After a year I only found only one problem. The Mobile Data will be Switched off when receiving a phone call. That's it. An also I'm liking The MIUI as well. Recommend this device to anyone(although it's Lil bit old now) and Looking Forward to Poco F2 as well.

  • Pocophone F1 or Honor play is better? Mostly for gaming, youtube and whatapp

  • Not an argument. just speaking my mind off. :)

  • I'm just quoting GSMArena. If you have an argument about what they said, take it up with them.

  • I already replace my fts-ts screen to nvt-ts, but my phone still have ghost touch issues. Any advice ??

  • In theory yes but you are better off with PD chargers - as it also supports those as well - than with the official (Redmi K20 Pro and such) 27w charger.

  • My panel is fts and 0 issues dude, update the latest firmware and do factory reset.Problem solved.I even overclocked my panel from 60-65 hz rate with Seshstation kernel.

  • Dude I got fts_ts panel ,I dont have any issue and I overclocked my panel at 65 hz refresh rate.It was just related to software issue

  • I like poco f1 perfect phone for most budget gaming phone ever i wish they make poco f2 more amzing and please dont remove the memory slot for my opinion its amazing to have a extra memory for my old pic n vid

  • Founder of Poco brend resigned, so there will be no f2. Redmi is the budget now deys, look for k20 pro, or weit next year...

  • Too nice... Using from about one year but still in a position to beat high end phones...love it.. I'll go for Pocophone F2..

  • been a poco user for a year now and still no problem best budget flagship phone..this unit can still keep up in a year or two so money saved waiting for poco f2 ^^,

  • I want to buy poco f1 should I buy it or I should go for some another phone... please comment 😟😟

  • so im kinda lucky umm :) will use it for 2 more yrs atleast. its a flagship grade as well as most expensive phonne that i hve bought. ill see when there is a substantial upgrade wud b available in the future not just 2 o 3 version. till then i will enjoy it to the fullest.:)

  • Used 1 year, till now no problems

  • most of the screen having a gt is the fts few from nvt...when poco f2 comes out ill buy it as long as it has 3.5 jack and sd slot amoled screen os just a bonus for me so yeah im still waiting...

  • Yes

  • is it. just checked i hv nvt. bought on 20 Sept. 2018

  • I dnt think so bcz poco is itself a brand and xiaomi will make sure to bring a substantial upgrade in poco f2. it all dependent on makt and market isnt ready for poco f2. so next year with some unique snapdragon proc. and featurs it will show up. poco users are no hurry in replacing their f1. i hv been using it since launch and its working quite cool and fast. im waiting for dark mode update and miui 11. that's it

  • it may get future support as sd 845 supports it

  • The Pocophone supports Quick Charge 4.0?

  • as per GSMArena, the Redmi K20 Pro is 'the Spiritual Successor' of the Pocophone F1. I'll get the Poco F1 instead...

  • we are waiting bro

  • So there's no Pocophone F2?

  • Okay bro , this ph is actually reall good for its price, but for the fts panel users it is just a horrible ph to use

  • u have internet issue buddy

  • This phone is excellent in every function and performance. No word to describe really, its awsome like 24 carat GOLD. pz dont believe in rumors.

  • I have the same story , fts panel just sucks , i ordered a new one from aliexpress , maybe it will be nvt and no problems at all , otherwise my poco is 4months old , but I alredy decided to change that sh.t ASAP

  • just swap it to Samsung A50 this phone build quality is shjt

  • change your lcd screen to nvt because i think your panel is fts thats why u have ghost touch issue...most phone with fts panels have the same problem GT issue...and most of nvt panel have no issue at all

  • I have a global version of pocophone F1. And have ghost touch problem in muli touch. Specially in PUBG its on my nerves. xda topic for this problem: try it yourself by this app: Things that i tried and not solve issue for me: 1. MIUI Global 10.3.4 stable 2. MIUI Global 10.3.5 stable. 3. MIUI Global 10.3.6 stable 4. MIUI Global 10.3.7 stable 5. xiaomi.eu_multi_V10.3.6.0 stable 6. xiaomi.eu_multi_V10.3.7.0 stable 7. MALAKAS KERNEL r189 [GCC10][UPDATED❯ *9-8-13* 8. MALAKAS KERNEL r187 [GCC10][UPDATED❯ *9-8-5 9. turning off 3 fingers screenshot 10. Disable “Turn on MIUI optimization” in “Developer options” 11. Change screen protector glass twice 12. Even with no screen protector 13. Custom ROM Pixel Experience [2019/08/23] I got this phone 6 months ago. But experienced this problem only in last 40 days. My friend have a poco f1 india version. And haven't any problem in PUBG Anyone have any other tips?

  • Please stop misleading People, I play Fortnite on epic graphics and get many victory royales without any problems and I play PUBG on the highest settings for hours without problems and I've been using this amazing smartphone for almost a year and no hardware or software problems at all, no screen issues like ghost touch etc, battery life is still great and very good cameras using Gcam so overall I recommend this phone to everyone.

  • its playable my friend w/o fps drops ang no lag in my poco, i played an hour w/out problem.

  • what???? how come its not playable😁 im playing an hour wt out lag and no fps drop on my poco.

  • try to watch in youtube.. there are many videos of indian techreviewer who already exposed what are new in MIUI 11:)

  • pls give a new update for changes all other mobile operating systems to seeing ( NEED - MIUI 11 OS )

  • Yes it will receive android Q update

  • It's not possible. I tried it many times but after 5 or 10 seconds, it would log you out from the game.

  • its not aluminum, it is polycarbonate(hard plastic).. the finish is just great that it looks like metal alum:)

  • Is it possible to play Fortnite on Poco?

  • Do you think Poco will receive Android Q update?

  • i just want to share my toughts. i think pocophone is just a xiaomi's trial if the consumer will love their ideas of having a flagship in a mid range segment. and it clicked. what they really want is to adopt this in their Redmi Sub brand. as you can see, the specs that must be in POCO F2 was already implemented in the Redmi K20 series. Pocophone was just another xiaomi name. Redmi is like the Honor brand of Huawei.. I think no more Poco f series will be release. BTW, i am a proud pocophone f1 user😊😊😊

  • What the phone back is completely plastic

  • Of course Poco. it has SD 845, which means higher performance and framerate in pubg.

  • I dont think this is a valid comment as I have been using a Poco F1 for almost 7 months, never found a latency.

  • Pocophone is not plastic body at all It's from metal ( alominium ) How you do this mistake ??

  • *k20 pro

  • i bought poco f1 when it was announced. I think in September. The only issue i had with this phone due to which i had to sell it off is its poor digitiser/touch screen. 1) very high touch latency 2) overly sensitive touch screen, smells not only just ur finger but anything u throw at it. 3) Bad for Pubg due to touch issues. 4) cannot type fast with accuracy Overall it is still a valuable phone, you may buy it for other daily tasks but not for texting/gaming.

  • shall i buy poco or samsung a50 when it comes to playing pubg?

  • this phone is a legendary

  • I just bought this POCO, and it's quite normal. Also there are too many functions that I found useless. The only thing I can't handle is make the clock AM/PM on Lock and Home screens. In appears like 9:24 without am or pm. Please reply if there any suggestion

  • K20 is the new f2. go for it

  • Just wait little more and buy redmi note 8 pro, mid range for gaming spec

  • this phone is a legendary

  • pls give a new update for changes all other mobile operating systems to seeing ( NEED - MIUI 11 OS )

  • Go for real me x

  • 2g option (vital for phone) lost in pie update. No dark mode anywhere, contrary to posts (something I’ve had for at least 5 years with Lumia & Microsoft.) Camera colour rendition deeply flawed, however you try to tweak. Radio sound quality awful, equaliser makes no difference (grado headphones.) A few other things, these you could probably live with. So much promise, sadly being returned. Can’t recommend.

  • Dysfunctional and unusable. Serious touch screen problems a few months after using it. Cant play games normally, swiping to receive calls are hard and many other functions are rendered useless cause of the touch screen

  • Should I buy this phone, or vivo z1 pro? some suggestion please

  • Meh... Glass back - pop up camera - in-display fingerprint even the Amoled display. I don't necessarily need those things (which are significantly cost effective and I'd argue they're gimmicks). I just want a screen with less bazels - 855 - slightly better cameras... And literally anything else.

  • Don't buy it. After using 5 months it seems to me waste of my money coz I actually buy it for use as a phone and play pubg mobile game, now it's touch have some problem when I play game, also when use it for other application, it hang when I play game.

  • Same here bro it feels lng poco f2 is not coming...and i still can't find a phone with a good spec and price...like poco f1

  • Xiaomi k20pro is next pocco f1

  • It is a good choice if you want raw performance..It's an allrounder

  • They have got u a better phone than that...The Redmi K20 pro...Check that..

  • Erm.. I've been waiting for Poco F2 for quite some time now but it feels like it's not coming out, So what's the best phone that's similar to Poco F2?

  • pls give a new update for changes all other mobile operating systems to seeing

  • Which one is good? Though they're both good phone but i need to choose one, Poco f1 or Mi 9t? Pls help me.

  • Hello, i want to buy this F1 to replacing my s9 exynos. Its that a good idea? Thank you in advance.

  • I love this phone honestly...but it's been a year since it released and i dont want to gamble on it.. Is it worth to buy this phone at this point of time?

  • I am having this phone. Not necessary any comments. The only comment is in one word "EXCELLENT". It comes under list of flagship Phone of the world as regards it's performance in all respects. Thanks to all Love to all.

  • Yes, you should buy it. You will never get regret once on your hand. This phone superspeed processor, good battery life, satisfied gaming high graphic without any lag. Internet surfing also smooth. Only camera and the durabilities of this phone is a bit low.

  • Still no news for poco f2 oh comon! Is it dead or what?...

  • Does anyone see that the phone's magnetometer has a problem. After the 10.3.6 update. When looking at a 360 degrees photo, always photo is turning left continuously. Also in maps direction of yours always turning around. In compass app, direction of north turning around like crazy???

  • Camera is among things u don't like ? Come on man, seriously !!!! Have u tried Google Camera ? In normal mode, in portrait and night sight mode It is brilliant for crying out loud

  • Yes my friend, battery life gets affected with every update on this phone. There are many who have reported this. But surprisingly the power saver mode works pretty good. It will save your battery throughout the day. try it out

  • Thanks for your advice. I have updated to the latest software and currently it seems to have cured the freezing issue. However the battery life has taken a big hit, which is what I had heard and tried to avoid.

  • Which one to go with ? Pocophone F1 or Mi8 ? Please suggest with sound reason

  • I just realise this main phone camera doesnt have OIS

  • you should buy this is best

  • The coming of Android Q is not new for poco gestures haha

  • Yep. Wise choice.

  • been poco f1 user from sep 2018. my phone before was sammy S1 to S8. my review are as below: What i like 1. cheap price 2. speed 3. battery life 4. cheap spare part 5. 3.5 mm jack 6. fast charging 7. 2 speaker 8. fast finger print what i hate: 1, no IR blaster 2. camera 3. LCD screen 4. ghost touch sometime happen 5. finger print near camera. make my photo blur sometimes Overall I'm satisfied with poco f1. bang for buck.

  • not

  • Hi I am planning to buy this mobile now. Even though many phones are available in market i liked this phone for Snapdragon 845 processor for around 18k. Please suggest me is it ok or not? Thank you

  • On certain countries, I guess.

  • Update you phone, and if you still face this issue when the screen freezes just touch the finger print scanner at the back and you don't need to lock and unlock.

  • Used it for a year with no problems. One of the smoothest experience ever. And it has all the features you would expect, like a 3.5mm headphone jack. Hinthint

  • Is it true that Poco F1 already stop selling? any news about this

  • First update your phone to latest software then reboot that should solve all issues.

  • Have a pocophone since 3 months....never had problems....i don't understand what so many people have problems with this phantastic Phone . pocophone f1 flagship killer master of speed

  • I'm using poco f1 from last three months...I'm not a gamer person...All day calling, messenger , social media...I like the speed of this mobile thank you pocophone f1 , master of speed respect from tunisia

  • Install notch third party application.

  • It Can support SDXC 400GB XDA Devolpers.com

  • no because we aleays update so not to see those issues. and who said that updates have problems in them? they always update so we can have no problem with the phone. until now i didnt have any problems with the phone and am using it for 10 month already. i change phones alot but until now couldnt find any phone which can have specs and battery life like poco f1 so still using it. but for second phone im planning to buy k20 pro

  • After always buying Samsung phones for over 10 years, I decided to replace my S7 Edge by going Sim-free with the Poco F1. Although the screen and build quality are not a patch on the S7, the speed and battery life were amazing, and I enjoyed the flexibility that the MIUI firmware allowed. I have avoided all the recent firmware updates as they all seemed to cause more problems than they solved. All was well for about 4 months until I got hit by the screen freezing issue about a month ago. Despite many attempts to adjust settings and research on the internet, I have not been able to find a solution. It is so frustrating to have to keep turning the phone on and off to resolve the frozen screen. As no solution has been forthcoming from Xiaomi I am considering returning to Samsung, especially as the latest F2 (aka K20 Pro) is now released, and they will be concentrating on that instead. Has anyone managed to find a solution to the freezing issue that doesn't involve rooting, etc?

  • who said that. i have pocophone and from first day im using 400gb sandisk microsd card

  • if the update doesn't work out for ghost touch u need to replace the lcd with nvts screen...

  • there is a new and stable update, hope they solve the ghost touch issue

  • Unfortunately no, Pocophone F1 can only support upto 256GB SD card

  • Can it handle 1TB micro sd?

  • can we get this as the most popular phone by fans??

  • me too but on lenovoK8+ ,on jio sim, which SIM r u using?

  • After the recent updates, there is a new problem during calling, you can hear their voices but can't send yours to them. Anyone

  • My experience so far with this phone from November 2018: 1. No touch delay. Seriously, i tried real drum/deemo/hi3/nfs no limit/asphalt 8&9/modern combat/pubg/ark survival and no single delay on my end. 2. No screen bleed. I've tested it out with backlight bleed test and no bleeding. 3. Ghost touch. Testes with multi touch app and got none at all. 4. Battery is great. 2 days light usage. 4-6 hrs to drain the battery to 5%. 5.performance is great. Cmon, it's sd 845. 6. Heat. This phone isn't the coolest phone that i ever use when playing. It's still reaching 42°c when playing pubg (keep in mind im in equator where the weather is about 30-35°c). BUT, this phone is fast to cool down (took me like 3 mins to drop from 42 to 34). And the temp is never reach 44°c the liquid cool system is doing it's job properly. 7. No ir blaster which kinda a bummer since for me its xiaomi Signature feature. 8. Sd card expansions which is great. Tho im using the 128gb version so im not prolly gonna use it anytime soon. 9. Plastic body. I don't know about you guys, but i like "sleeper phone" If that s a real term. Love to troll people. 10.i got mine for $270 11. Notch. Not a fan of notch but i don't hate it either. And for this phone they use it properly (face detector etc). And not a fan of moving part in the phone. That's based on my experience. Cheers.

  • Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with such clarity! Hope it will educate new smartphone buyers.

  • did you see the new about poco f2 guys what you think is it real? it has water drop notch which is cool for me unlike pop up cam more vulnerable...and it has AMOLED display dang! i hope they will keep sd cars and 3.5 jack

  • Well said!

  • Sadly after 8 months of use with my pocophone, mine has screen retention when watching FB livestream for about 1-2 hrs with 50-60% brightness. Too early to show signs of retention since I dont use my poco that much because I have a backup phone. My Zenfone 3 max showed screen retention after almost 3 yrs with excessive use. Still love using my pocophone but I think xiaomi compromised on a low quality LCD panel to lower the price of the pocophone. Overall performance is a beast. But will I still recommend pocophone for now? Nah. Go for the new phones in the market. Why would I not recommend it now? Too many issues to gamble for this phone.

  • You have to get to know how to use modern phone or smartphone and how to maintain it. It goes for any, not just Xiaomi. Find- how to charge and what to do with charger, how to maintain software etc. Easy info to find

  • *sd 845

  • Poco F1 is 10x times better and fastre with liquid cooling and sd 855

  • this phone is indeed gorgeous and amazing fast...why? less gimmick no pop up cam no nfc which most people really don't use it... for the price like this phone its amazing u have radio camera is back is really good if u use manual and front cam is good too you get 3.5 jck and most important the HOLLY SD card speaker is not bad at all...i just hope that they sell lots of 256gb variant.. because 256gb now is no where to be found it rare...

  • Direct sun light visibility is not that great at full brightness...

  • I had this phone for a year now. At the beginning it was all sweet and smooth. I was really happy I bought that phone and for about ten months I didn't have any problems. Unfortunately after that time my phone slowed down (apps freezing, long switching on and off time, clock on home screen failed to refresh, some apps stopped to work etc.). I reset it to factory settings and reinstalled apps but it didn't help. Also it started to be difficult to charge it. Charger supplied with the phone is not as efficient as it was on the beginning. Charging from 5% to 100% used to be about 90 min now it takes about 4 hours (tested on different chargers). It probably is just my phone (as I haven't find other opinions like mine) but after a year I feel disappointed and I started to look for a new phone - most likely not like this one anymore. I don't want to give it a bad opinion. I still think it is a very good value for money but I look for something that lasts longer than a year.

  • LOL. You think that you can just click and go in lowlight?

  • Got the Pocophone social media 3 o 4 accounts, messages and Android P, normal usage no gaming battery lasts at least 2 days putting on airplane mode at nights while sleep. Saludos from Mexico.

  • I like your opinion...

  • K20 Pro has a similar price with a better SoC

  • That's just right.

  • poco

  • poco f1 or realme x for better camera?

  • buy it already. no need concerns. its has the best price for the best performing phone.

  • anyone pocophone F1 user here? have any big problems? how is battery life? when update android 9.0 then this phone running smooth? I need a smartphone, need good battery life and good processor

  • That's surprising, because I find the low-light capability astounding.

  • How much if 8gb RAM and 256 ROM?

  • I fully agree with you. I actually like this Pocophone F1, I owned it almost on early release around September 2018. When I bought it, I already know what it is. That comment is just being objective, not try to overstate a smartphone with 1/3 of price tag of a premium smartphone from last year is going to kill any other more expensive smartphone. Yes, we get 1/3 of priced smartphone with some comparable specs, but with cut corners. I just want to state clearly what this smartphone is really all about. It is for those who really want saving, who doesn't fancy for metal/glass cosmetic body, doesn't fancy wireless charging, NFC, water resistant, AMOLED, OIS, best camera. Yet, I cannot make everyone agree with me, because there are people really buying these ideas for a premium smartphone, so I only can say if budget allowed, why not just go for those smartphone that they like, instead they just hiding here and blame this smartphone doesn't has this and that. It is nature of human greedy nature who want everything from a smartphone that is priced 1/3 from the norm. Many smartphone manufacturer just want buyer to go for their most premium smartphone by offering shit specs on their midrange and entry level smartphone. Only Xiaomi, Honor, ASUS are brave enough to offer something else, where their midrange smartphone is equipped with high end SoC. Because I prefer Snapdragon SoC more than Huawei Kirin's SoC for the apps compatibility concern, so my only choice for cheap yet high end Android smartphone would only left Xiaomi and ASUS. I can't say the same to Oneplus anymore as their smartphone is no longer the most budget friendly.

  • Night camera is terrible believe me

  • Can the F1 play 10 bit (Main 10) H265 videos? Cheers

  • Pocophone F2 canceled along with any future pocophones. News just coming in stay tuned.

  • Yes, it's fine. I play games while charging.

  • The mi 9t (k20). If you don't want xiaomi anymore get OnePlus 6t. Also if software is your concern get an Android one phone like mi a3.

  • Not only it is high spec and cheap but it got all the good utilitarian features - the SD card slot and 3.5 mm jack. Also FM radio.

  • i dont really like the newest update on poco especially on how they change the old game booster with the new one, well it has some good points but i really liked the old one where you can easily boost or record by touching the pop up button where the new one you need to slide and sometimes it didn't even work efficiently

  • is poco gonna shut down? i was planning to buy this phone coz many people suggests me this phone for gaming

  • Planning to replace my old phone but I can decide between pocophonef1 and redmi mi 9T. pocophone is a lot cheaper and has better SD than Mi 9T but i read a lot of issues with pocophone f1 lately. Mi 9t is OLED and is android Pie on the box already.

  • Poco also supports Gallileo satellites

  • Does Pocophone F1 camera equipped with wide Angle?

  • I heard about all the issues about f1 having ghost touch etc. Even max pro m2 has its own problems too. Headache wise which is still better?

  • How is this - "it lacks NFC" and this "no wireless charging", and this "it use LCD instead of AMOLED", and of course this "use plastic material for body instead if metal frame and glass body" - a drawback or something negative? NFC has been around since 2006 and as a normal person i don't see any use case for it if you don't have apps that can take advantage of it(blame google/development community). Wireless charging is also a gimmick, i am yet to find a group of people where you're unable to find a usb to usb-c or usb to micro usb cable, plus wireless charging is either slow af or at the best case give you a nasty burn and worst case be a fire hazard. LCD vs AMOLED - it's not a ducking +43inch screen, plus amoled has a permanent burn in issue and i personally want to have at least one fallback phone in the drawer. If you'd give me an argument of LCD vs QLED then yes, i agree, LCD is a problem, but amoled - let it die along with the omnia series. And for my most loved part - plastic vs glass/metal. Here's a fact i've had 3 glass screened touch smartphones with plastic bodies, two of which have had a removable back(i9300 and nokia x6) and one has a plastic back with a sheet metal for that metal feel (redmi note 3). I've also had one phone featuring a unibody design (nokia 7 plus) i've dropped all my plastic phones be it on purpose or accidental about every 2 to 4 weeks and none of them have had a broken screen, not even a cracked one. But when my unibody phone decided to drop it broke it's screen on the 4 time i dropped it. Worst part is that it was in a tpu case and a i slowed the fall with my foot(ouch). So unless you're gonna be keeping your phone in a drawer or in a non gravitational field i don't think it will survive proper use. Plastic is fantastic, because it's flexible and even though it doesn't feel expensive you don't care, because the point of a phone is not to compensate for status, but to be there when you need that one good song or pas those 5 min, or take that picture of the mint age of Hitler Merc, or call an ambulance when you've fallen of your bike and broke your arm/leg.

  • Go aosp.

  • How is that even a question. F1 ofc.

  • pocophone f1 or zenfone max pro m2?

  • My pocophone suddenly blanked out after under 6 months of use. I sent it off to gearbest for repair and they claim to not be able to fix it! The worst part was when they said they couldn't send the phone back they had LOST the phone in the repair center!!! I'm reluctant to buy the same phone again, does anyone know any good similar phones in that same price bracket?

  • poco is numbawan for me sad i can't see the light of poco f2...

  • there is pocophone f2 now

  • For battery efficiency, 10-15% battery left.

  • This was a geat phone when I bought it 6 months ago. It was super fast and no lag at all, everything very smooth. However recent updates from Xiaomi downgraded the experience to a mid range phone. Now going to the home screen from an app is 2 seconds. Battery life is also badly affected at least 30% worse than before, I hope Xiaomi fixes this mess soon because it is turning into a disappointment.

  • I've used this phone for past 6 months, there is no problem on performance side that everything is on top notch and smooth. But there are few big problems which I've found. First major problem is display touch issue, there are few games on the playstore which have been greatly affected with this like (dream league , hill climb & even in pub g) coz it can't resolve multiple touch at a times and also there is high touch latency. 2nd problem is heating issue while playing games like pub g. After few minutes of gaming & I usually play on smooth/extreme setting & even at that setting it starts to throttle coz of heating issue. 3rd is call drop problem :; I use dual SIM at a time, whenever I call someone it automatically stops sending voice over your receiver side, you can hear their voice but can't send yours to them which really really sucks. You may be thinking it could be a cellular signalling problem from the sim provider but it's not coz I've tested with other phones & they do perfectly fine. There are few other problems as well but I've found these 3 most annoying to me. Hope they'll fix it asap. I don't think Poco really is that much of good purchase for now coz it has so many problems which really ruins your mood.

  • is it ok to charge the phone even when it is not yet low battery? thanks for the reply

  • Can a Poco user tell me is the phone screen visible in outdoor lighting under the sun if you turn on autobrightness? It has quite a low rating in the review, i have a phone with a 3.50 rating of visibility and i still struggle to see in the sun, Poco is 3

  • Does Poco F1 supports QC 4.0 Plus. Recently Xiaomi launched 27w charger in India. Could anyone confirm does Poco F1 supports 27w charging.

  • definitely not normal bro

  • Please, can someone answer my question... My nephew had hold onto my charger thats come stock with my pocophone f1 and he threw it on the ground. And now when I shake the charger I hear somewhat bits of plastics inside. Is it normal? The charger model btw is Xiaomi MDY-08-E. Response is much appreciated. Thank you.

  • cc9 is indeed gorgeous but it doesn't have a SD855 chip...if they made a cc9 pro and it has sd855 and good camera like poco or better and the battery is good ill buy it whiteout questions...

  • nothing to be worry about for im not a fan of pop up cam and no sd card slot...and phone signal is not a problem for me because i use wifi not data...i use a low end phone for my primary use like tx and call thats all i use... my poco for games and picture only....and other related to internet usage like fb messenger ect...

  • im a gamer bro i use poco f1 cc9 is good but it doesn't have 855 chip and the only reason im hoping for poco f2 is AMOLED screen and thats all for mi poco f1 is amazing because it has good back camera face unlock although i don't use it...SD card support SD845 4000mah type c, liquid cool feature its incredible almost perfect it would be gorgeous if it has AMOLED screen...and poco is a less gimmick phone that's why i love this phone good for gaming and picture taking...i just hope poco f2 doesn't come up with pop up camera water drop notch is good or on screen camera as long as it doesn't pop up...

  • You guys are waiting for Poco F2? It's basicly K20pro.. just careful with europe... no B20 for 4g. Mi9t=K20 for europe... Super amoled, 855, pop-up, sony 586 48mp camera etc...

  • Whom among here experience ghost touch issue almost 4 months of using this phone? Realtalk guys, ghost touch issue is worse in poco, you can't play smoothly with it. Hope Xiaomi could fix this.

  • If you are not a gamer, I think xiaomi mi cc9 would be perfect, I hope they will come up with a unit just like the cc9 with snapdragon 855, then that would become the next poco f2

  • So when is the next plastic king coming out? My redmi note 3 is tired of waiting and wants to go out to pension. If it's not coming out in august-september then i'm buying this thing and f you guys with your glasstue signaling.

  • same bro im still hoping for f2 if there is f2 should have AMOLED screen no pop up camera water drop is good enough 4000mah or 4500mah batt im ok with no nfc or ir blast memory slot hybrid or dual sim whatever liquid cool and good camera SD 855 im ok with no water froof or wireless charging because less feature less compromise and dual speaker...

  • I want Pocofone F2.

  • is it true no poco f2 is coming?...

  • how about the battery drain and low speaker volume that were previously reported last (may to june miui 10.3.5.0) update?

  • Just had the 10.3.5 stable popup and updated, one major thing i noticed is the Wifi calling now works without issue

  • The price though

  • This is the flagship killer smartphone of year 2018. Being a killer at almost 1/3 of the price of some flagship, it lack NFC, no water resistant, no wireless charging. Cut corners wise, it use LCD instead of AMOLED, use plastic material for body instead if metal frame and glass body. Camera has no OIS. Plus side, it has liquid cooling, infra red face unlock, 4000mah battery, 3.5mm jack, and Micro SD slot. Again, before say this smartphone is not as good as some smartphone, please check the specs and price again. Direct replacement for this smartphone would be Redmi K20 Pro.

  • Asus zenfone 6

  • Yeah, just for double price..

  • Xiaomi black shark 2 If you're a gamer

  • if you are not a gamer.i think mi 9 se is better.

  • As you said it is a epidemic issue between manufacturers so if you need loudness use a bt or wired speakr! It is Not poco problem!

  • Xiaomi black shark 2 If you're a gamer

  • Nope! I play to 0 percentage of battery for about 7 hours without any problem. Update your miui! Maybe your problem be solved or check your device with a hardware specialist

  • I have 5s+ and poco f1 and my cusins has mi max 2 and couple of other models. We had never faced such a stupid error. There might be a problem with your cellphone or a problem with pubg becoz I hadn't ever heard about this problem. This poco f1 is one of the best after black shark2 undoubtedly...

  • What is best between pocophone vs mi 9 se?I'm not a heavy gamer

  • that's why don't use the phone in havy activity while the phone is charging because phone will heat up and the battery too the results will be battery degrade and Shortened the battery life span...

  • it is a great phone- i accept. It has high radiation while speaking on cellular calls. I cant even speak for a minute holding phone in my hand putting it on ear. this device manual itself says don't use this phone without wired or low power bt earphones for making calls. so please mention in the spec list or somewhere else in the product description about its radiation rating, say its good or bad or normal. i trust gsmarena, because you people provide every spec , even u update it. so, please consider my wordds.

  • Poco F1 is still very good phone, bought it in august 2018 and still unbeatable.

  • To truly know your real battery capacity you need application like "AccuBattery"

  • yeah now gps sometimes not working.thinking of oneplus 6@6t@7 now.

  • How did your phone get stolen?

  • Poco f1 is still very good phone, bought it in august 2018 and still unbeatable.

  • My Poco F1 was stolen after 4 months of usage... Was a good phone. Then my uncle just bought me Huawei P30 lite for my bday while I was planning to buy K20 pro myself. Sad...

  • Hi bro saw your question that after one hour play of Pubg it exit automatically. Bro this issue i have faced in only in xiaomi redmi mi phones. Pubg gets closed automatically after one hour as your phone gets it will be common becoz when mi phone mi a1 gets only 5 months this pubg application closing problem started so i sold my mi a1. Dont use xiaomi phones for Pubg becoz at first few months it will work fine and after that all problems will come together trust me. Better collect your money then you can go for oneplus6 8gb ram.

  • I've been using Poco as well for 6 months but haven't seen any degrade on battery. I use my phone for gaming e.i MOBA, PUBG, MMORPG. But I dont use my phone while charging cz it will greatly affect the battery

  • does anyone having trouble automatically forced exit when playing pubg for about 1hour++? before this im using mate 20 and note 9 for pubg playing hours till empty not having problem at all. thinking of changing if this keeps happening.

  • Goodbye My Nokia Lumia 920 it's been a long journey since 2013 now it's time for android i just got my Pocophone F1 and it's the best

  • This website is basically full of wasteful consumerists who just change phones every 6 months for the sake of 1 pointless feature or performance increase. We are doomed. What a complete waste of resources.

  • what about not upgrading at all? 8 months isn't that long ago and this specs is still good for mid-rangers nowadays but if you're so eager to waste around 300 euro for a little upgrade here's some alternatives: 1.patiently wait for mi 9t pro that "supposedly" sold at €350 2.go for mi 9, in my country it's already around €370 for the cheapest version but still have notch that might look outdated soon 3.pick asus zenfone 6 for €500. cool design, better UI, unique camera mechanism. the IPS and rear fingerprint could outdated soon but not as an eyesore as notch. on a side note, with that price you might as well stretc your budget and upgrade to OP7 pro instead

  • Changing from Apply and iOS device and system was a huge difference and challenging especially with Android. I actually bought this device specifically because Apple's reducible price range. Anyhow, the mobile built material is good, shape is fine though the size is a bit annoying for me, i prefer smaller size for ease of use. The internal hardware and specs are very good, the mobile is fast with no lags switching between apps and i am facing no problems except with the OS. Too many useless update requests for the apps and no change was noticed. The Android system keeps crashing the apps and a bit confusing and way steps required to make any move than in Apple OS. All in all, as average user, i would recommend this device over Samsung and Huawei mobile phones. The mobile phone compared to the price is a good offer you wouldn't refuse.

  • Warning! After using this smartphone for 8 months I can tell you that this Pocophone is a trap! I can't decide which smartphone to upgrade to, if I went for the Galaxy A70 I'll have to deal with the SD675 which is not good enough for heavy gaming when compared to SD845 and If I wanted to upgrade to a flagship like the iPhone xs max or S10 plus or OnePlus 7 pro I can't justify the high price, so all in all this is a great value for money smartphone with amazing battery life and awesome gaming performance but I want to upgrade to another smartphone for a change, any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • if specs go for K20 Pro..if price go for Poco F1 Poco F1 actually is quite good enough, i've been using Poco F1 for 8 months. Performance not bad, fast charge, stereo speakers... Snapdragon 845 with 6GB RAM, wise design. Good job Xiaomi!

  • Poco f1 or redmi k20 pro?

  • For opinion wise, I actually wish smartphone speaker to sound as loud as possible, but on the other hand, manufacturer choose to reduce the speaker loudness to protect the speaker. So, it is a gray area decision to reduce the speaker maximum loudness, both sides of the coin will have people agree and disagree. Then, of course, Pocophone F1 is not the smartphone with very good and loud speaker to start with, it is ok for normal use, but not the loudest.

  • it happens when u use the phone gaming while its charging battery life span and capacity decrease...

  • good point and i strongly agree...just like u bro i don't use phone speaker this phone for me has a good quality sounds but i don't use it full blast cause it may crack the speaker and have a bad quality sounds in the long run so i use portable speaker...

  • Sorry for the bad joke for scammer. Here is the thing, when speaker too loud, causing speaker become short life time, manufacturer then reduce the volume, then get complain again for adjusting the volume become low. Personally I don't use phone, not just smartphone to listen to music, but as a speaker phone is ok, don't want comment on speaker quality as it is a small speaker, won't produce any good sound. Yes, some sound better than the others, but no magic here, won't replace any Bluetooth speakers, won't replace any good speaker. So, this is a good, and also a bad thing. You can complain to their forum, and see if they want to adjust back the volume or not.

  • Go change a new one. All smartphone manufacturer are scammer.

  • after the update to MIUI 10.3.5 the speaker sound because very low. please help to solve the isuue. what i will do? regards,

  • Go for F1, has a far more better specs, than the 11 Pro, not to mention the SD 845 Chipset.

  • Pocophone F1 or Oppo f11 pro fir the design and specs? Help

  • Here it is, the cheapest SD845 Android smartphone of 2018. Let's be honest, no other smartphone can beat it's value when this smartphone is launched last year. I have been using it for 9 months, doesn't give me any major issue. Well, my unit has screen bleed issue, but that's is ok for me, it doesn't affect usability. I only see it as a phone that lack NFC. It got all the ingredient of a flagship smartphone, except it is being cut corners on all the parts until it's price is so low, but remain the functionality. Major complain from most user is it screen, ghost touch, lose touch response from gaming, I think it is the main problem on this phone. I am not a heavy mobile gamer, I can't judge how lose touch when aiming while playing PUBG and Mobile Legend, these 2 game is not on my gaming list. For the rest, it is an ok phone to own, if you can look past it's low quality screen, plastic body, no NFC. The rest might nitpick no wireless charging, no IP rating, no AMOLED, camera no OIS. But for it's asking price, this is the best you can get, it retain 3.5mm jack, 4000mah big battery, class leading IR face unlock, and also Micro SD slot. Of course for people who favor for AMOLED, NFC, Xiaomi Mi8 is the better choice out there, but not a fair comparison to be a better phone than Pocophone F1, where Mi8 lack 3.5mm jack, no Micro SD slot, smaller 3400mah battery.

  • Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro

  • the only good about samsung A50 is "Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen" the poco f1 have a cheap display i know it's fast but i think the A50 is better, But Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro is more than better.

  • Where can i donwload GCAM app for POCO F1? any link? thanks

  • Is there any one who has a noise to the caller at the other end during voice calls??? This is not the call echo issue which is on stage. As I remember this issue came after the MIUI 10.3.4 update. Still I haven't updated to MIUI 10.3.5.

  • received the update 16/06/2019. so far no issues. no battery bug; i still am able to manage up to 10 hours of screen on time from one full charge. i had to recalibrate my screen for touch lag though. the only things i have noticed in the update are the customization of the lockscreen clock and new charging animation ala mi 8. the change log talks about fix for dual apps bug wherein the second instance of the app disappers after reboot; i couldn't confirm that because i have never used dual apps. lastly, it brought security patch level to may 2019.

  • Poco f1 ot samsung a50

  • After 6 months my battery in Poco f1 went from 4000mAh to 3500 mAh what about other users?? I use AccuBattery for Measurement

  • I use "BAGT" on pubg getting 60 fps HDR High Resolution also I use "GAME TURBO" make the game never lag. But the main problem is "PING" if it 200 ping very bad, the less the ping the better, I recommend 20. And I personally prefer no joystick for mobile experience.

  • i use this phone for about 6 month. because of pubg. setting on smooth/extreme fps. the ugly things is i can see a trace of finger on screen. and it cannot be clean. for pubg joystick, not all can fit on poco. very hard to find 1

  • I wouldn't buy the Realme X. It has a lower processor and smaller battery. The camera looks good (resolution), but since it pops up, it could be easily damaged. I have a Poco F1 and after 7 months it still roars. Up to you.

  • Downgrade to Miui 9

  • how to fix screen freeze issue

  • Any news on 10.3.5?? I am on beta annd moving to that stable build as soon as release

  • Check if your network setting is set to 3G only. If it is not, then part of the problem is from Telco. On 9 months of usage, mine doesn't drop to H+ on it's own, even now I'm on latest MIUI 10.3.5.0, no network drop, no call drop, no WiFi disconnection. Use it everyday as daily driver.

  • The most possible advise is test use with both phone at store only you can know which one is suitable for you. Do remember there is no best smartphone, only have suitable phone that suit your need. I can only say both Realme X and Pocophone F1 have their own pros and cons, no point if keep saying one is better than the others.

  • In my country the poco f1 and the realme X have the same price. what is the best to choose, Any advice.

  • Who receive the updates on 10.3.5? any changes?

  • It is not downgrades, it is "you get what you paid" concept. Of course, most people don't buy this concept, just keep pinpoint it's flaws that is due to it's cut costing. Well, at least now people has choices to choose to go full high end but with expensive price, or go with partially high end at a fraction of the cost as long as the phone works, that compromise the outlook of the smartphone, no NFC, no IP rating, no wireless charging, but with a real justifiable selling price that can justify why they cut out these feature by selling it much cheaper.

  • its not going to be Poco f2 it will remain redmi k20 pro when it release in India beside i don't like k20 pro for not having sd card slot...

  • I have this problem, Usually my network is LTE but recently it drop to H+ or H, and i can't connect to the internet.

  • In my country the poco f1 and the realme X have the same price. what is the best to choose, Any advice

  • Got update 10.3.5 today after a gap of 2.5 month.Nothing new except May security patch & improved lock screen.

  • Does the Poco F1 support 24-bit/192kHz audio in its internal DAC ?

  • Really good phone for 300€, i have it for like about 3 months and its great.

  • Thanks for advice. I chose India region and it works.

  • You can enable the battery percentage in the settings.

  • there already is! the redmi k20 / pro in china. it's called the mi 9 T in europe and i believe it will be called the pocophone f2 in india. it is called different but it is the succesor of the pocophone f1.

  • Can anybody tell me when will poco f2 going to launch.. I'm waiting eagerly. That would be a great killer budget phone. I would have buy poco f1. But I hate that big notch. Xiaomi please release poco f2 as fast as possible.

  • powerful phone at its price, I like the speed, but I am feel blur with notification and battery percentage not show up on home screen. It's ok waiting for f2.

  • is poco f1 gives 60fps in pubg?

  • no wait for 5G mobiles, unless its very urgent

  • You may find some answers in Youtube.

  • No

  • Is it still a good purchase these days, what do you think??

  • Hi,can Poco F1 use wireless charging

  • please help me I cant download the latest rom(10.3.4) someone has it too? help please

  • The Poco F1 had a huge shoutout in the tech world. It is an amazing phone for its price point. But, all phones are not perfect. The Poco had a few downgrades too, like its a IPS LCD screen instead of an OLED panel, the camera does not have OIS and the back is plastic. Still you can cope up with these little things because it is a very good IPS panel as the blacks look quite deep and the camera can take awesome pics during the day and even during the night due to that f1.9 bright IMX363 12mp sensor. It can shoot videos up to 2160@60 fps which the Pixel 3XL or even the Mate 20 Pro couldn't take and slow motions upto a mind blowing 960fps at this price point. I know that the Realme 3pro can also take 960fps slow mo's but it has many downgrades.

  • Hi, Is it supports 4G VoLTE and 4G LTE networks. Please...

  • yeah but make sure to put skin on your poco or else it ur poco will become ugly...

  • Its not religion but region

  • my f1 is working normal and fine, great phone

  • What is you religion? Because some religion make don't have face id and you need to change your religion to India or Malaysia to get access the face id etc.

  • Your pocophone F1 have issues? Or still working normally.

  • You need to update your poco first.

  • Change your region to india

  • why are you so prone to dropping phones though , u shud buy a nokia 3310 instead or a military grade satellite phone......haha

  • check the seting

  • well in camera that one is better but for other things thats why i sold a50 the first day i boight it and still stick to my pocophone which is 8 month old. will only change it after poco f2 released

  • yeah i bought that too and not only it protects well but also look stylisb

  • Hei. I just bought a new Poco F1 but can not found Face id in menu. Or I need to download somethink from Googlestore?

  • Ringke Fusion X case for pocophone is best case/cover out there.

  • A50 is no way near to poco's power .. A50 can barely run games .. also slow F-scanner .. just stick to oled screen .. lol

  • This is the best phone overall money can buy, If plastic body is a problem go get Spigen case !

  • a50 has better camera unless you dont want to use wideangle one. wideangle photos are teriible. in batterylife poco is a bitbetter

  • .If you only focus camera maybe a50 is better, but poco f1 have better processing power compare to a50. I prefer f1 as they have the same battery 4000mah

  • I want to buy a phone, and I'm thinking about poco or samsung a50...a little help...I don't play games that much, I'm using camera a lot, and maybe some app for editing. What about battery?...if someone can tell me which one is better

  • me to. screen glass is strong, i drop it 5 times. im use autofocuse case

  • Try to update your Poco, Go to setting>search the Region>change it to india>go back to settings and go to updater and update to latest MIUI.

  • So i just bought a new Poco F1 2 week ago and i have a issue with flashlight it can't turn on. Sometimes my play store crash saying error servers. But i love the performance of this phone. My miui was global 10.2.3.0|stable .

  • How do you use/apply lineageOS on this?

  • Is it still worth buying this phone today? Are there still problems with the touch, or those only happen in the indian version? What about the notifications? Are they permanently appearing?

  • sometime does happened to me. once a day atleast.

  • All really? Cause mine almost drop every week and still doesn't have any crack just have scracth . Don't be a dick

  • I am more than satisfied wroth the performance of the phone. Mine Is also 8-9 months old.

  • I'm 1+ 6 user, just wanted to know from poco user if u r satisfied with performance of ur phone at present, coz 8 months back i had to make a choice between these phones and now i am curious if i made right choice or not.

  • Ghost touch issue still there or not?

  • The IR blaster was not added so that you are shocked. Guess it served its purpose.

  • Poco has done a great job in this phone.. but a small thing.. y no IR blaster? Shocked yaar

  • You dont lose warranty on xiaomi for installing custom roms actually

  • I had Mi Max 2 and its glass was undestructible (I`ve droped it so many times. From 2nd floor once). I bought 2 months ago F1 and it`s really good and power phone. But i droped it once on the floor and display is broken as hell. It`s really terrible. It have really bad glass :((

  • Good phone. Got mine three days ago and I'm impressed.

  • Started using this device, this the best phone for value of money. Waiting for F2

  • This Phone Is MEGA.. The only problem I have is with the notifications! I hope they iron it out soon and don't make me install a custom rom and jeopardize my 2-year warranty... Camera is super. Using gcam I even have raw files to edit. Speed is Great! I don't play games but in those I did, I didn't have any touch sensitivity issues (although I bought it from the Greek official provider with Greek manual, etc)

  • I just update my poco f1 and I think its still the same.

  • can anyone tell me how good is battery life in 10.3.4 global uptade because im scared to updtae

  • Nice approach for them ..... looks like if someone wants to sell to us they block them in all the world .... i think Toyota is next one.

  • No Because xiaomi does not sell phones in us.they uses snapdragon processors and.huawei was banned because it is the leader in telecommunication and 5g infrastructure same goes for zte while xiaomi is not a telecom company

  • Hi. does anyone encountered pink link when using selfie camera? it will be okay once it has good lighting at background. when lowlight then its started to give pink line. already try using gcam still the issue there. maybe its the camera issue or just the software itself? currently using MIUI 10.3 and the issue already happen in MIUi 10.2

  • With the recent news about Huawei getting disconnected from Google as due it is from China, will there be possibilities Xiaomi getting banned too in the future?

  • hey, i'm new to this, so any advice on Pocophone f1? i know that it has touch delay and screen bleeding, but is it worth is on may 2019, by the end of this month i am going to buy a phone but i don't know what, and one more thing does screen bleeding spread? abit worried because if i pick Pocophone its gonna be with me for a long term (sorry bad english)

  • Facing battery drainage in MIUI 10.3.4.0, earlier it was great. Anyone facing this problem???? How to fix it??????

  • Is this available in PH?

  • Before this im using redmi note 5 and overall is smooth for me. Then i fall in love with poco f1 because this device more cheap and have a good processor for gaming, pakiu all

  • Depend where you come from, all have no problem on the internet, even doesn't has issue with apps as all are Android smartphone, then if you want to have huge download, you can pick a Micro SD card. The main difference here would be screen. AMOLED on Samsung A50 ans A70 would be better for video wiewing. But with A70, you might consider the getting Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus for much better performance and also features. For A50, you might want to top up to get Mi8 and Mi9, which also have AMOLED screen, but with much better performance.

  • poco is my choice, bought mine last week

  • I ask for a break from personal experience, now I have Xiaomi rows notes 4, 3/32 and I need a solid cell phone for the following: 1.Live IPTV 2.You tube 3.Download video with camera, 4.Internet therefore for who is better than these Poco F1 phones, Samsung A50, Samsung A70.You have realistic recommendations.

  • It is not just for Indian market, it is for Asia market, where it is targeted for market segment for low cost smartphone but high end specs. I am at South East Asian, the phone works great on these country, works perfectly on South Korea too when I have a working trip there. Yes, it only made compatible with the 4G network on these country. This is common Xiaomi practice, they only target their phone on these market.

  • what miui version you at?

  • when it comes on gamming Poco F1 win but when it comes to Camera A7 2018 with even using Gcam on the Poco. I compare it so don't ask for more :)

  • hello all, can you please assist me in downloading Gcam on my Poco. I got the phone 2 days ago and it is super fast. thank you in advance.

  • Yes!

  • i work for a cellular company in germany for the last 7 years CONGRATS! i bought a poco for myself with Gcam it has the best camera and except being a bit heavy- it is perfect! loads of aftermarket support, roms, hacks, cases and protectors because of vast popularity. it is still top notch in may 2019!

  • Bro if u wanna good phone like Samsung or iPhone u you go for it . poco phone is extra even there is some problems and if u want phone like Samsung and iPhone for gaming there is the phone name black shark 2. Xiaomi made this phone for Indian market and from there they are getting lots of profit and even they are giving them updates what ever they want like L1 certificated game turbo 4k 60 fps and other updates are also coming .

  • poco

  • Wondering if Xiaomi put better effort to build Poco F2. Amoled and no defective screens, etc. Even lowend Sammy have Amoled.

  • Hey guys. F1 or Honor 10?

  • A50 processor is middlerange and cant even be compared with SD845.. be serious.. antutu score is 150000 of A50 vs 290000 points in behalf of poco.. agree display is much better on samsung. but for gaming, A50 is poor..

  • Is it worth it for usd 320?

  • A50 has sAMOLED,an under display fp, and is way cooler than poco. If you are not a hardcore gamer A50 is the best choice.

  • This phone has it flaws and no phone is perfect but the pocophone f1 is so amazing for its price and its definitely a flag ship killer I love it so that I would use it for ever but am mind blown by one plus 7 pro , mi Max 4/pro4 and mi 9/lite/x

  • Fix that screen freeze, this phone is 9 months old!

  • How to use camera flash below 15 percent of battery ,oppo does not allow users to use flash below 15 percent of battery 😶 although xiaomi does

  • This phone has it flaws and no phone is perfect but the pocophone f1 is so amazing for its price and its definitely a flag ship killer I love it so that I would use it for ever but am mind blown by one plus 7 pro , mi Max 4/pro4 and mi 9/lite/x

  • Lol you think so well sorry to say but it beat the Samsung Galaxy s9 in speed and rival against the iPhone x in speed

  • I only agree partially where the camera, screen quality, sound, outlook does loose to Samsung flagship and latest iPhone due to low pricing. But functionality wise, it only lack NFC. It's speed and performance is matching these high end phone. It even got IR face unlock, liquid cooling system. UI is a personal thing, I found it's MIUI is much more responsive and much more useful than Samsung UI, I got no issue on it's MIUI. You may also say it doesn't have IP68 rating and wireless charging as well, this is due to cost cutting as well. All in all, it is a fully functional smartphone that has processor that match Samsung flagship and latest iPhone.

  • Actually nothing in this phone can fight Galaxy series or iPhones. From the display to the sound and software. You get what u paid.

  • Please what is the name of the game been played during the review

  • Not all poco f1 is like that there is no any single issue on my phone i play pubg and pes19 no any issue if i use metal cover i can feel the heat but and there is no lag on my phone using other apps like Facebook, messenger, you tube or other third party apps happy to have this phone in this price which can fight with other flagship phone.

  • thanks man i did what you said and it work thanks for your advice.

  • Phone with many problems... Screen freeze and lag, low brightness display, etc. Price tells everything. Still no fix for screen freeze? Xiaomi is low end u all must remember that.

  • in phone settings no need to travel lol

  • Honestly who would travel to another country just to get a software update? Just wait for it to be out in your region

  • Go to India region. You will get the update

  • guys i didn't receive any update till now my phone is still in 10.2.3.0 so just want to know that are you all have same 10.2.3.0 or you get update and what i have to do to get the new update . please reply

  • go to beta version it's superb

  • I like your review about Poco F1 . This is the best flagship phone with flagship processor ever.

  • Facing battery drainage from last few days. It automatically drain 10-15% battery during night. I think after 10.3.4.0 update its battery is draining fast even last update was good. Plz friends give me suggestions.

  • You can also use GCam for better pics. Get from celsoazevedo. : )

  • Mi9 has twice the price 3/4 the battery And 0 headphone jack

  • Mi9 is better looking...

  • Poco is the best phone!I own it for 8 months now and works superb. It isn t the most beautiful phone,it s plastic, but the photos are good, and works without any delay.Really best phone I owned!Super satisfied with it and waiting for poco F2 what will be changed...

  • you're wrong. there is only one bottom-firing speaker and one of those two grilles at the bottom actually have the primary microphone. the earpiece on the notch is the second speaker used for "stereo" sound. i really find the setup quite unbalanced as the earpiece speaker sounds tinny and lacks low frequencies, while the bottom one has all the dynamics. it is still pretty good, actually, when compared to even flagships. however, not as good and loud as the ones on the razer phone 1 and 2- which are front-firing, individually amplified, covers wide dynamics, bassy, and dolby atmos certified.

  • I am experiencing the same problem, infact in just so fed up

  • Ofc if you have budget go for mi9. Both are good. mi9 is better.

  • Go for poco you will be able to save some money and also you will get ir face detection

  • ofc xiaomi mi 9

  • Mi9 latest specs, but price is higher

  • pocophone f1 or xiaomi mi9?

  • i owmed a50 too. thats a good and stylish phome unless you dont want to play high graphic games. but still i love my poco f1 and waiting for poco f2

  • There are just two stereo speakers at the bottom of the cell phone as they are, whether they have bass and low tones or garbage.

  • Very Fast, 6G RAM, good cameras, very good battery, robust contrutcion, good display. Im Brasil for R$ 1.400 (330 US$). You can´t go wrong with POCO

  • pocophone f1. brought for my wife and she thanks me for it everyday day. this change was after s7 edge to poco f1

  • Dont worry Poco I will buy you today . After reseaching and making comparing all midrange phone , you are always a beast until now. Your opponent is only A50 but the comparison is far better for Poco. You will always be my loved,Poco. Long live Pocoooooo.

  • Pocof1, better than mi8

  • Please ask who Poco let you describe what it's like to watch a video of quality, such as watching live stream Iptv, you tube and finally how much he uses the battery in this mode and warming up. What's up to the Xiaomia update on this mob. Thanks.

  • there is no comparison between A50 & Poco F1..... in simple words poco f1 is far ahead than a50 even A70 snapdargon 845 vs 675 hell alot difference between them

  • I'm in doubt between A50 and Poco F1 so my use of the phone is in the following order: 1.IPTV stream, 2.You tube, 3.Video player mix, 4.Internet, 5.Mp3 play, 6.therefore in this order is imperative. Which of these two cell phones is better for everything. Write all the deficiencies and disadvantages realistically.

  • It is like this, for Samsung phone, only can consider their most expensive flagship as that is the one that truly worth buying, the only problem is with the pricing. I means if someone can buy a Samsung S10 Plus, then just go for that and don't look back. For affordable price smartphone with flagship specs, Xiaomi is the one to look for, or you might consider Huawei's Honor brand if your country have that. Judgement for Samsung A50, it is a midrange phone with midrange specs. Only thing it is superior is it's AMOLED display. So, expectation should set right, it only can perform as midrange, which for normal usage is perfectly fine. The only question is do you really need flagship performance, that Poco F1 can offer, with little price gap, but almost double the performance. For sure if just normal usage, then both Poco F1 and A50 would satisfy you. But if you really into high performance, need some really good processor for high end gaming, then Poco F1 currently is the only choice, or can choose Mi Mix 2S if your country have that. Yet at my country, the price difference between Samsung A50 128GB and Xiaomi Mi9 64GB actually also very small. For me to choose, I definitely go for Xiaomi Mi9, only thing I miss would be 3.5mm jack, no Micro SD slot, might be subjectively 3300mah smaller battery, and also have the smaller 64GB internal storage. But performance wise, definitely Mi9 beat A50 by a lot.

  • You are absolutely right dude... Before this Poco i had Galaxy A6 plus... After long research i found that Galaxy A6 plus has old part such as Ram DDR3 which is MHz 800, Storage emmc 5.1 which is Slow than UHS 2.1, also wifi module is old etc.. only sAmoled display this one thing better than Poco. Otherwise poco has DDR4x Ram with 1866 MHz, UHS 2.1 High speed storage, and obviously High Speed Processor, USB type C, And also i like so much its camera with Sony IMX363 lens.

  • (contd) After updating the phone to the latest version, factory reset once again. That is it.

  • I bought this phone on the first sale (128/6GB model). From that time till March 2nd, I have been using the preloaded software i.e. miui 9 with Oreo 8.0. Then I took the leap of faith and updated it to miui 10.3.4. Here are my observations, 1.) All the promised features are added and work very good. Widevine L1, 4K 60fps, Game turbo, all are here. 2.) Option of hiding the notch is back (I heard it was gone in some previous update). It works a little differently. Instead of just hiding the notch, it pushes the display area below the notch. It results in a more symmetrical view imo. 3.) Battery life is as good as before. I didn't notice any abnormal battery drain during my usage. There is no idle drain either. After 8 hrs during the night, when I wake up, only 2% is depleted. This is a big update. So you definitely need to factory reset your phone. First backup your data to a PC. Then before updating, factory reset once. This will ensure there are no left over files. Then hit the update button. After

  • same here. i only have had the phone for 3 months, but i have really never been this satisfied with a phone's performance per price since oneplus one. i never had those issues with the early batches and so far my complaints are the screen being prone to burn ins and the "stereo speakers" not having balanced quality/loudness (the bottom firing speaker has more dynamics and is significantly louder than the earpiece speaker, resulting in unbalanced stereo sound).

  • For me in Croatia Poco F1 4/64 gb can be bought for 310 euros and Samsung A50 6/128 gb. for 300 euros. Someone wrote that in the A50 were built older parts from other phones and only a good display to attract customer attention. The two between A50 and Poco f1 and or maybe Remi note 7 4 / 64. What do you think of what to choose.

  • Similar experience after 8 months of use. Very happy with the phone.

  • They don't operate in the US, and for good reasons.

  • Mi 8 without a doubt

  • obviously poco better as a50 has old parts

  • does this hsve the NFC feature

  • A50 is very slow phone. Poco F1 is monster for A50. 1 thing only is better in A50 - screen. All other, POCO.

  • My dilemma is between note 9 and this f1 Its half price!!

  • I'm in the dilemma of buying a mobile phone between the Samsung A50 6/128 GB or the Xiaomi Poco F1 6/64 GB. Only for real and honest answers.

  • At my region, this phone with 128GB/6GB RAM is currently sold less than 20k, still no other phone beat it around that price range with such kind of feature offering. Maybe after 8 months, you can say not worth it because there are newer model such as Mi9, but it is definitely worth it when it is first launched.

  • This phone as compare to other phones are best in some of the features which cannot be compared at all. however this phone has some inbuilt problems which cannot be ignored. For at a price point of 28k this phone is not worth i believe only the memory of the phone is increase rest there is no difference in the 16k and 28 k phone.

  • In my country, due to stupid taxes this phone and mi 8 are same price. My two main priorities are video recording and battery life. Mi 8 has OIS so it is supposed to be better but people say with gcam pocophone is great. Do you think I should buy poco because it has better battery with expendable storage? On the other hand Mi 8 has amoled display... I'm so confused. Any suggestions pls?

  • Another receive question, why don't you ask why telco in each part of the world use different 4G band and standard? Why these telco can't provide more band support? The clear answer of course it is not free to implement. Bigger picture is there is poor standardization on 4G band.

  • Not all smartphone version works globally. Only recently many big brand start to implement more LTE bands. Open all LTE band at no cost? I don't think this is the case. Clearly extra cost is added to fit in more workable LTE band, meaning add in more LTE modem. It is seemless to add, as it is already a wafer level chip kind of modem, but it is not free of charge.

  • not true because Samsung s7, s8 and s9 work all over the world and all bands are open , my question was that xiaomi could have opened all bands with no cost to them

  • I don't get how some people complain about this beast, I've been using it for 4 months now and no issues at all, playing PUBG at smooth and extreme settings and battery life is outstanding, great camera ( use Gcam) and edit videos, play for 4 or 5 hours straight without a hiccup, call quality is great, for me Xiaomi destroyed the mid-range segment with this awesome phone and notice that I bought it for 420 dollars in my country not 300 and still this is the best value for money smartphone.I can buy any flagship smartphone but I just don't see why when this phone exists.

  • Depend how you define it as bugs or as an annoying UI implementation. I have updated to MIUI 10.3.4.0 for more than 1 month, I don't encounter any bugs, but that is just for me. For here, I list down some of the thing that might get annoyed, but not exactly are bugs. 1. Notification Icon. This one being one of the most elaborated issue, there is no permanent notification icon on the latest MIUI. The icon is there on the top left, but just flashed for a few second then it gone forever. From my past usage from 7 months, I get used to it, that it, not a big issue for me, but need extra step to swipe down to view the full notification. Also need to swipe down to view if the phone is on fast charging, and also GPS. 2. Ghost sensitive touch. After much reading on internet, this is related to the default keyboard of Pocophone F1. I use Swipe as my keyboard apps, just need to change the keyboard size bigger then have less issue on this. 3. Loose touch while gaming. I read that this is something to do if you playing game while charging. It is an electrostatic issue which will cause miss fire or miss navigate while playing PUBG. Don't charge the phone while gaming is the way to go, or buying a high quality charger and type C cable that has good grounding will solve the issue. As the default screen glass is not oleophobic, meaning it is not very smooth if you swipe on the screen, sticking a good quality screen protector also help to reduce this effect. 4. Screen bleed. My unit actually has very small screen bleed, but I get used to it as it is rarely seen at the bottom of the screen. It is an issue with low quality LCD, which I seen a lot on Xiaomi device especially on the Redmi series. I get used to it as well, it doesn't affect any of the functionality. 5. Notch hiding feature. It does come back on MIUI 10.3.4.0, but is not the way it hide the notch as from Android 8.0. It doesn't filled with black bars, but it directly shrink the whole screen. I get used to have notch anyway, doesn't bother much to me as well. All in all, it does depend on personal level where you whether like the way the MIUI behave or just hate it because it doesn't behave as what you expected. I just seen this as a cheap high end phone that lack on NFC, but it doesn't compromise on functionality. On latest MIUI 10.3.4.0, the much anticipated Widevine L1 support is finally here, where you can finally stream Netflix in HD on Pocophone F1. For those who do not receive OTA update want the update, the update package is at official MIUI website, need to download manually and update manually.

  • They didn't stop the 10.3.4.0 MIUI updates, but for some region, there are issues via OTA updates. You can visit their official english version of MIUI website and download the update package from there, then learn how to manually update it. At system update page, you need to tap the MIUI 10 logo for 10 times, so that you have the "Choose Update Package" option selectable for doing the manual updates.

  • Update 10.3.4 is not pushed OTA probably because it has a lot of bugs. Again, MIUI cannot be bug free. Xiaomi can be No1 if they fix annoying software.

  • Hi Guys, Does the xiaomi has paused the MIUI 10.3 update for sevaral regions??? I'm from Sri Lanka and still I haven't received it. Also still I have the security patch for 01.02.2019...

  • You need to change your phone region to other country to make it works. Suggest India? China?

  • Just need to manually download from it's official ROM side or force it to search for OTA update. If you don't know how to manual download, search at Google for help.

  • It is clearly not a global phone. Even Samsung also didn't open all the bands, you only get the region specific version that support that region band. So, a Samsung phone that work properly in the US might not work at other country. At US, you better stick to the Oneplus brand that is intended for the US market. However, the Pocophone F1 that is intended for it's target market and region do work perfectly.

  • Send for warranty. Mine has been used for the past 7 months, no issue on these, indeed it is pretty fast.

  • Would it be so hard for Xiaomi to add IR face unlock to Europe?

  • All that you can find in a Pocophone F1... but you pay 500u$s more for the camera... you could buy a pro camera with better zoom and a Pocophone f1

  • soooooooooooooo stupid of Xiaomi because it did not open all the bands for the us and other world countries which is so easy for them to do but I don't why they didn't implement all LTE bands

  • Someone got MIUI 10.3? How is it?

  • Does it receive monthly security patches in India?

  • Hey.my poco always just lags and some times the screen goes black and then all apps dont work and freeze

  • With that price on that processor, they don't give NFC. Literally every smarthphone can have NFC, just like Bluetooth, but because of cost cutting, they don't install it, and you cannot get it at low price, unless you willing go to old model which has been price cut drastically.

  • I wish every phone is unique with their own custom UI.

  • Agreed. MiUI is shit. Bloatware, dumb setting placement etc I wish every phone would just use Android One.

  • With that processor and where is it the NFC ?

  • This phone is amazing..... IF you flash a custom rom on it. In my opinion MIUI is terrabad, it is clunky as heck and the settings are all in the wrong categories. I flashed LOS(LineageOs) on this one and the experience is top notch, many options to make it look like you and some very nifty features like privacy guard. Performance is phenomenal, right up there with the big boys, camera improved with the gcam port and that stock android feel and look is a must have. Battery life seems to have improved a bit by flashing LOS Yes it can be a pain in the ass to get started with unlocking the bootloader and installing everything manually, but it is so worth it in the end. Check out Linustechtips for a tutorial if you don't know what you are doing. Also, it is worth a mention that a youtuber named Munchy(an indian guy doing tutorials and reviews) has a good tutorial also. 4/5 because of MIUI.

  • Go for the Pocophone F1. I think the first batch of POCO F1 only has the screen bleeding issue. I got the Armored Edition.

  • I would personally recommend the Pocophone F1. Better chipset, has a card slot, stereo speakers, and a huge 4000 mAh battery.

  • There is an option to turn it off.

  • I'm from Bangladesh and using this phone for about 5 months. I had a battery bump just after 3 months of buying. But still couldn't find the battery anywhere in the country. Undoubtedly it's an awesome phone regarding it's features. But it's difficult to find accessories and service here in Bangladesh. Don't know about other countries.

  • i am from the philippines as well and have the global version of pocophone f1, and i never had ads from the start. i am not sure about other xiaomi phones though. my wife has a redmi s2 (y2) and it does have ads and there is no option to turn it off, however the ads are not that too intrusive and only comes to parts of the settings that doesn't have lots of items on the menu.

  • Ofcourse Poco F1

  • One plus 5t.

  • F1 is snapdragon 845 while 5T is snapdragon 835 Well if you want camera and display go to 5T but if you want performance and much latest go to F1

  • Poco F1 or OnePlus 5T which is better value for money? Both have same prices in my country.

  • Don't buy this smartphone, it's a trap. I've been using this master of speed since it came out and now I can't think of another smartphone that is a better value than this one, it does everything I need , great gaming experience, great cameras with Gcam installed, up-to-date software, excellent battery life etc. I can afford any flagship smartphone but I can't find a reason to upgrade and just waste money, this smartphone is awesome and I don't have any touch issues or screen bleeding or any of the problems people mention about this awesome phone.

  • No, it doesn't have any ADS at all

  • maybe it was targeted mainly for Indian market. Even their launch event is in India

  • Hi guys..it,s regard dual sim installed.Izzit really no need to shift sim to another tray when prefer to go for another network?mine always prompt to shift to another tray...advise needed n really appreciate...tx in adv

  • Not all the pocophone have a screen bleeding issue. Sometime the smartphone will have a problem but is depend whether u get defect unit or not. I wouldn't recommend to get a used iphone 7 since if some people used it for few years, battery won't be that good anymore. I would suggest to go for poco since its running with a snapdragon 845 processor. Already used for 6 month and so far i have no problem with it

  • Thanks FYI, but isn't it against the rules to give update to specific country only?

  • Does the MIUI has too many ads? I live in the Philippines and I was thinking of getting a Xiaomi phone. Thanks.

  • Please someone help me. . Is network signal is strong. .. or it is weak

  • Glad to know that I am not alone. I've been through 5 phones in the past 8 years. And every phone always decreases battery life & loss of certain functions on each update till you're forced to carry a powerbank. I will maintain the factory firmware as it is. Everything is working fine. The touch issue thst you've mentioned, may I suggest to clean your screen thoroughly after switching it off first. See it it might help. The theory is that the gorilla glass 3 on Pocophone F1 is relatively thick compared to it's body. So when you hold it in both hands like during pubg, the 4 corners come into contact with your skin inputting a false signal which results in ghost touch.

  • I still have the same apps and everything 2 Months ago till now. Also, fix your grammar before posting your comment. I had a hard time understanding it

  • true bro true i got my Poco September 18 2019 and my phone is first batch lucky for me it has no screen bleeding issue but i in counter some issue when typing...but i didn't not updated because its not big issue till now im on 9.6.14 version and phone is great i charge the phone every other day on normal use tx call surf game for less than an hour...i got 6 hours straight pubg game smooth graphics high frame rate...new update got new features but its useless if my battery will drain fast

  • I have pocophone ...only samsung flagships are better than pocophone... Im not talking about P30, lg thinq,or maybe xs iphone ...(because this are newest than poco) The price is fantastic for great phone ...

  • Hi Everyone ! I need a very honest opinion because i am so confused between Pocophone F1 or Xiaomi Mi 8 or Used Iphone 7 Plus.Which one i go for ? I heard Pocophone have few problems such as screen bleeding issue and i not want to buy pocophone but its so powerful phone

  • 2 months ago? if you put some apps your score in antutu will becomes low common sense when using antutu benchmark, its computing also memory and ram.. kindly read and study before commenting this.

  • FYI : Lots of people simply updating their phones thinking it is the norm. It is actually not. If it works the first time, don't update your phone. Each update is designed to send more data to google or to the phonemaker. Since every single update will send more data to them hence this will increase battery consumption. No update is worth it if it decreases your battery life. Some people said that nothing bad happened to their phone after update, but remember, at the end of the day, it's your phone that's gonna suffer.

  • My Pocophone scored 299k on antutu before ( 2 months ago ) and now i tested it again and it score 286k only , this is a sign that this will definitely slow down cause its cheap

  • try change your region to india and check for update. I get the 10.3.4.0 update on its first day of release. (I'm from Malaysia btw) pocophone f1 and poco f1 are the same in update.

  • By the way , I saw somewhere that there is already a new system update for this phone the MIUI 10.3.4 ( i am still 10.2) Was that for the Poco ( Indian version ) only caused I keep checking for updates on my Pocophone ( Global Version ) and it keeps telling me that MIUI 10.2 is the latest

  • What do u think ?? I said "Pocophone" right ? Which logically means it was the global version and obviously China made. I don't have touch issue and this piece of trash's system is always up to date. I am at 99.9% of ripping this shit ( or breaking it open to see the internals by a tear down )

  • Can pocophone camera compare to oppo f11 after using gcam and what about signal strength in weak network coverage areas .

  • Don't buy used iPhones they have known battery problems and replacing them is big investment with your time and money. Of you y options are only those two just buy f1 or if you don't mind not having headphones jack (iPhone 7) there is mi 8 a superior phone if you spend a little extra.

  • 2 questions : 1. Where is your F1 made? India or China? This is due to your touch issue. Mine's a china made 128/6 july'18 model. No heat or touch issues while playing pubg at highest settings. 41'C average in tropical Malaysia. 2. Did you always update? What's your current firmware?

  • the iphone 7 plus is an excellent but the pocofone is far superior. no doubt buy the pocophone

  • My Pocophone F1 was purchased 4 months ago and now honestly I'm starting to notice these issues ( probably some of u won't mind but I do ) 1. I am used on playing games on this phone with max graphics and the temperature never gets too hot even for long gamong sessions ( I am playing world of tanks blitz ) then after a month of playing games like that the phone starts to heat up up to 44°C and boy that's so uncomfortable to the touch 2. I am able to play youtube ( or stream ) videos before using mobile data inside my house but now i cant even load Facebook pictures and the stupendous data connection always stay at H and then goes 4G after I close the app ( like fb ) and u know that it is so freaking frustrating 3. This poco keyboard , i have enough of it. This opinion I am posting right now took me a while to type because the keyboard just interchange the letters and I have to type very slow to get the correct one. I still love this thing but it is in the verge of being torn to pieces or being " intentionally " ripped apart.

  • Which one I go for, Pocophone f1 or used Iphone 7 plus ?

  • Guys is that new pocophone f2 going to come soon. Or should I buy pocophone f1.

  • New unit doesn't have it

  • Does screen bleeding issue is a big problem ?

  • i got no problem in PUBG max setting. Oversensitive touch i guess you mean in keyboard i solve it mine by installing other keyboard well i guess their keyboard is a little buggy for me. Typing with auto correct on pe to ep i guess. go install other keyboard on playstore. ^^ Note: i dont feel lag in any games at all at version 10.3 stable update. except if i open their newest update in that version the game boost. some of my game become buggy like mislocate buttons in ppsspp.

  • No any single problem with my Poco.... everything is working fine Poco is far better than Galaxy a50... Excellent Performance without any doubt... After last update miui 10.3.4 my Poco benchmark score is 296821... isn't best score.? Also Camera is great than A50... Bcoz in Poco Slow motion, super slow motion,4k video recording at 60 fps, Dual pixel, etc. Liquid cooling system is working fine... I play Fortnite and Pubg on very high settings without any lag and heating issue. IR Face unlock is more and more secure and unlock your phone even in darkest room within 0.4 sec... Other best features you will get in Poco not in A50.... A50 has Only Amoled screen and beautiful built quality and nothing more

  • Is there any different bugs between India version and Indonesia version? Since I did not see anybody from india have bugs like indonesia version.

  • i get 8 hours sot when i game alot, then 10 hours sot with average use. game alot- about half of the screen on time (4hrs) is with games (usually high graphics), and then half on social media and video streaming apps. average use- about 2 hours of the same high graphics games, and the rest is social media, news app, and video streaming.

  • This was my second pocophone f1. Im using mi 8 lite its also a great phone and sold it to my sister. For me nothing beat the pocophone f1. One of the best phone ive ever had. The master of speed!!!

  • don't worry about touch issue, i'm using poco f1 with lastest firmware, there was no touch issue.

  • This Ph an all time great best phone i've ever had for its price you can do many many things is very fast. although im not a phone gamer i have few games installed and they play smooth this phone is for not conventional people if you come from a higher price phone i will not recommend it to you stick to the price you can pay but if you willing to have the best phone for its prince then do it try it out is an all time phone.

  • Everything good with mine no issues.

  • i have the phone for 8 month and yes i can play pubg for about 7 hours and still i can have 30% of battery after that. i think you should check to the seller you bought it from

  • i had a50 and sold yesterday because of these peoblems. 1: fingerprint is a headache. you should touch the screen several times to recognize. 2: main camera is not that good even with a small shake in your hand the photo will be blurry and unreal. 3: signal strenth is not that good. 4: gpu of the phone is not good and powerful for high graphic games like pubg or fortnight

  • i dont have problem in pubg at all like you do. and about keyboard maybe you use original keyboard. change to swiftkey like me and your problem will be solved

  • if you know how to change the roms of the phone, touch issue will be gone. according to some post i saw, a50's performance cannot beat pocophone's performance.

  • So, I bought this phone soon after its release, probably in second batch. However, I'm shocked to see this phone hitting #2 on this website as the most favorite phone despite many issues/bugs it comes along with. 1# You cannot play PUBG without noticing touch input lag. The digitizer is below par. 2# Oversensitive touch 3# Typing with full of errors try it your self by typing 'pe' the outcome will be 'ep' I hope they improvise it and recall my unit.

  • Dear friends, please help me, it is my hard earn money. I have heared some screen touch issue on poco f1..is it solved? also heared some connection issue. should I invest Rs.19000 on poco f1 or galaxy A50?...I need a good camera phone with good performance and battery.

  • Hey guys. What on screen time do you get on your pocof1? I get around 7 hours and I think it's not good, i don't play games, settings for battery saving are set up fine, I do use Instagram alot, but I've been reading that people play games and everything and still get from 8 to 10 hours screen time. Does anyone have similar experience? Any suggestions? (Phone is 1week old) no pubg or any games played yet, Just Instagram...

  • Damn, after all the updates and fixes and still doesn't show notifications... This phone is a bug fest.

  • Does this Support 2TB external Hard Drive NTFS, i tried my 2tb and 500GB with dual partition but it said need to format but i tested it on my Huawei 2 year old phone the 2 TB still detected with files inside.

  • got my same issue here. that notch on new update.if you run your ragnarok from your homescreen, then the notch from your homescreen will still remain on the ragnarok screen. also an issue on fb messenger, if you landscape then you put your messenger on the right side you cant click it properly.. does anyone can help us with this..

  • Same issue with me on ragnarok. that fcking notch are always there with your last screen (if you run Ragnarok on your home then the notch from your home will remain. , also the FB Messenger, when u put it on the right side (if your on a landscape) messenger is not working properly specially when u click it and drag drag it anywhere. the fck.

  • Can someone confirm that the app notifications stay in the status bar with the latest updates?

  • First it freezes like hell and they fixed it . Now unfortunately my battery drains fast in the new update . Very disappointed

  • I didn't have high expectations regarding this decides yet it just doesn't cease to amaze me, everything is working flawlessly, performance is flying and the overall experience is great. There are however some software quirks that trigger me, like not being able to switch into another app when you get a call that you don't want to reply to, not being able to dismiss WhatsApp notifications while playing a game and a minor volume control bug in which the volume control pop up persists till you touch somewhere else. Other than that, the phone is perfect and I'm loving it.

  • Off course Poco is far better than Galaxy a50...

  • It has EIS, quite stable in video recording.

  • Same here, I have experienced none of these purported issues. I went from S8+ to Pocophone and it's a big improvement.

  • I'm confused between Poco F1, Galaxy A50 and iPhone 7 (used). I'm getting a good used iPhone 7, condition is clean and the battery is fine too. Which one should I buy? My priority is gaming, camera and I want a good UI which doesn't lags. I need a phone which I can use for next 1-2 year(s). Thank you

  • Hi guys having issue with the newest update with Ragnarok mobile there is a notch on the side of the game, anyone having this issue? how to fix thanks!

  • after i saw this comment, i suddenly check my box and i think im still safe Nov. 2018 ^^

  • Got Mine. 1st time user of XIaomi here, honestly i did not expect it. the camera is not that good bad not that really bad and after the update from android 8 to android 9, the video record become better. gaming experience is insane. video playback is a little bit slower after i do fast forward than my Huawei honor 8 but still finding a way to make it fast. audio is normal for me. mic not tested yet. Plastic back. well i dont care about that i always use casing anyway. Outdated glass? atleast its Gorilla glass 3, well im always using tempered glass just to maintain its Main glass looks new like on my old phones.

  • Try to manually download the update. Just search the legit link on the web.

  • Pocophone will be better as it packs with snapdragon 845 which is way better than A50's exynos 9610 and is still gonna be one of the high end processor for the next two years . It also have liquid cooling technology to improve overheating issue. Software issues can be fixed or improved by software updates from MIUI. On the other hand, A50 will have a better viewing experience due to super amoled display. other than that it is still a normal mid end phone

  • im from Indonesia and i got an India version,. ya poco f1., there's any different with global ver?

  • pocophone would be a better choice for gaming because it is packed with 845 processor and compared to the a50 exynos 9610. While A50 is better for viewing experience due to its super amoled screen. PocoPhone software issues could be fixed in the future with all the MIUI updates.

  • A50 is no match for pocophone

  • camera on the a50 does suck per reviews i have already read and watched. i have not seen one in action nor held one in my hand though, so i really cannot vouch for this one. on the other hand, i currently am using a pocophone f1 (althought as a spare as i have returned to using my razer phone 2 as my daily driver) and have not experienced any of the issues people have been reporting. apparently, these issues were only present in the earlier batches of manufacturing. per forums about the pocophone f1 i have read, the batches that are free from these issues were those manufactured between october 2018 to february 2019. my unit was manufactured february 2019. everything has been topnotch with the pocophone, except of course for the build. the only reason i got back to using my razer phone 2 is the front firing stereo speakers- there is just nothing out there that can match the speakers on both the razer phone 1 and 2.

  • no

  • Don't worry, I has been 9 month to use this pocophone for my daily activity, everything is good and amazing, I'm samsung user before, I'm very statisfied to use this phone. this best phone for price, amazing

  • never had any of these complaints in almost 7 months. camera is not great as standard but when you install gcam it suddenly is a million times better, especially with dark shots

  • Hello everyone. I need a very honest opinion. I'm torn between A50 and Pocophone. Really would like to buy Poco but with some reviews saying that it got lag, ghost issues, touch sensitivity problem, it gives me doubt shall i buy this Poco right away ? All the issues happened, can it be fix ? Im drawn to Poco due to its processor that will give me amazing speed in surfing internet.. im not a heavy gamer.. Drawn to A50 due to it's camera.. it got triple camera but still some said the camera sucks.. I really am confuse now..

  • Does it permanently show notification icons (whatsapp, for example) in the status bar on the last MIUI 10 + Pie?

  • yes, with a-gps, glonass, bds

  • Very strange. I recently received notification that the update to 10.3.4 was available for download. As I've delayed updating to 10.2.3 until I know that the latest update has solved the few issues on 10.2.3, I've suddenly found that my notification for updating has gone back down to 10.2.3. Does that mean that the latest update has been withdrawn?

  • No errors or battery drain on me. Everything's better and new features added after 10.3.4.

  • It's $300... That missing feature is perfectly fine.

  • it doesnt have ois and not all smartphone has ois. the f1 does have eis instead.

  • I wondered why this smartphone doesn't have an OIS or any built-in stabilization for its camera. why didn't they included it? I strongly believed that smartphones should have built-in stabilization.

  • You referenced MKBHD; that's like citing Rudy Giuliani as a source of information on Technical Security. Only people with their heads in the sand respect either of these guys' opinions

  • I've had this phone for over 6 months, best phone I've ever had. I don't have to worry about the stupid glass back, the plastic is very durable. The performance is outstanding, and I'm comparing it with the Note 9. The battery is just perfect, almost 12 hours of Screen On Time, with fast charging. Cameras are very good for the average user, a manual HDR option gave me accurate colors. MIUI is just a better version of stock android, adding all the necessary stuff. It's the most satisfying experience i've ever had with a phone. The only downside is that there are no notification icons on the statusbar anymore, but I can live with that!

  • Aftet latest stable update 10.3.4 still notifications icons do not stay in status bar after 2-3 seconds

  • Does screen bleeding issue is a big problem ?

  • I do not face any issues, but you can install google camera to override any camera bugs.

  • I'm experiencing focusing problems in the back camera, pictures are blurred. Has any one experienced this? what is the solution?

  • The software updates are 2 edges sword. When no update, you can't enjoy the new features or any other bug fixs. When updated, it might bring new bugs or unstablility at some areas. It is your choice.

  • Thanks. I'm still on MIUI 9 Oreo. I don't want to deal with bugs at the moment but at the same time I want to update to MIUI 10 Pie too.

  • Only after you updated to MIUI 10.3.4.0 will know how stable or how worse it is. I found it usable anyway, the only non-perfect implementation is the new notch hiding feature, not my cup of tea. All other improvements are very welcome.

  • How stable is the MIUI 10.3.4.0 update? I've heard about the battery drain in the earlier version. Just want to make sure the update is stable before I move onto the new Pie ROM :)

  • Latest Pocophone F1 MIUI 10.3.4.0 updates bring Widewine L1 support for Netflix HD streaming, Face Unlock now works on all region, and 4K 60fps video recording.

  • Will there really be no 1080p 60FPS recording? Because they just added 60FPS to the 2160p one and the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite which is a lot cheaper can even go up to 120FPS in 1080p.

  • With the L1 certification , the netflix 1080p problem has been fixed. Update your phone now.

  • no. base model is 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM.

  • is there any 4gb ram variant in poco f1

  • 4k is fake news...

  • Audio effects do not work on Bluetooth headset

  • No itsn't

  • The new MIUI update is here, it brings many fixes and improvements like 4k 60 FPS video recording, Game turbo etc.

  • Any option to connect Pocofone with wifi using WPS? Thanks

  • So does the pocophone have ads ?

  • all installed apps in Poco goes in the App Drawer and doesnt show up on the homescreen. You have to drag it out of the app drawer into the homescreen to show there. Its how they make it to be. Not a bug.

  • I need small help. When I install some apk they didn't show on screen. Some idea?

  • Is touch responsive issue solved by update?

  • Talking about performance... yes!

  • Pocophone has P2i certification (splash resistant) and support Quick Charge 4.0. He is full of surprises.

  • good points. people forget this is a budget phone!

  • mi8 is better but it does not have 3.5 mm Jack. So be warned.

  • I can stream netflix in 1080 on my version? Maybe you could sideload an alternative netflix apk

  • Is poco better than mi 8? Cuz my friend said xiaomi sucks but I don't think so

  • Thank you for mentioning that, I didn't know either, HDR videos look awesome

  • i got mine ... after reading off the latest OTA update did make the handset overheat and battery drain became awful ... i did update ... restarted the phone (complete shutdown and start) manually and ... eh? no issues? oh well, as usual the issue is in the head of the negative reviewer (professional or not) as for the phone ... well it's the best for the money asked (i took the graphite 6gb/128gb) and no concurrent reach it (even from Xiaomi, which is literally funny ) Q:SDM845, but there is the SDM855 already! A: not really caring, the SDM845 is more than plenty for anything you do with that phone Q: polycarbonate and plastic feel cheap and not premium A: well ... most of the glass Phone from certain known brand feel cheaper (Sa***** not looking at you ... but almost ... ) and cost 3 time the price ... (and will break fast enough even in a case) and the polycarbonate back doesn't feel cheap at all ... a contrario: comfy. Q: 1. camera has less mPix, 2. the screen is IPS, 3. it's not 1440/2160p, 4. the notch and chin are ugly 5. doesn't have all LTE band coverage and 6. IR Unlock doesn't work in my country! A: 1. it still take beautiful pictures, eh? 2. no burn in? im' in! 3. 1080p is enough up to 8" above is gimmick 4. you get used to it, i used to be a notch hater ... not anymore and the chin is practical in the end, 5. still cover all the bands in my country (Switzerland), 6. in my country it doesn't work either ... just change your location setting to a country that work (i.e.: for me unluckily it's France)

  • I didn't know Poco supports HDR videos from YouTube. And it looks so f stunning. That's unbelievable for a smartphone costing below 300 dollars :)

  • yeah can you name some in this price range?? surely you cant. and what do you want to play. its a phone not playstation. i played almost everything on it. if you see a lag with snapfragon 845 and liquid cooling thrn i think its not the problem of poco f1. you should complaint qualcomm

  • After 6 month of usage i can say this phone is best in performance and battery life in this price the camera is good with google camera app its great give great night shots the only thing that i dont like is design and screen the screen its not bad at all but i dont like highly recommend and dont listen to indian they always complain about touch screen i dont have any issue sins day one just got global version

  • Still. One of the best phone of Xiaomi where you can run Ragnarok M Eternal Love in split screen without any lags. Considering the price, The only cons is screen display, sounds, and unable to stream 1080p on Netflix (which will be repaired via system update as per Xiaomi). With only those cons, I would suggest it is a worthy phone.

  • Name some?

  • Hahahaha right on

  • Then buy a flagship then for $1,000.

  • At the same price ?.

  • One of the ugliest phone design I’ve ever seen including the worst IPS LCD screen that comes with crappy touchscreen. Sorry to say that, but after used the phon and when it comes to gaming performance there’s lot of flagship phones offer that even better the poco phone.

  • no issue for about 3 months now Recommended!

  • Is there a Xiaomi phone with same hardware (or better) but smaller screen ( max 5.8")?

  • My poco has no issue(s) with display. Got it in first flash sale in india. All seems fine till now

  • Not really, eu(china) version, have far better display, so no white edges but fine and solid display (not excelent, but definetly okay)

  • i sold my poco f1 due to very bad display you can really notice at the edges when you keep an white wallpaper at the bottom you get marks hardware is excellent but display is equally bad like how famous the hardware is

  • my poco f1 iis scroll laggy

  • Im both xiaomi and samsung user, currently own note 9,s8+, s7 edge, a2, redmi5, note 3pro, mi4s, redmi note 6 pro. I dont understand why did people keep comparing that 2 brand together, no offense, but its only in our dream that samsung would be better on xiaomi on the same price range, again its only on our dream!! Even my s8+ wont be much better than my a2 which have alot of diff in price even at today it was like 500usd vs 180usd and yet the almost similiar in performance even the camera just slightly better why dont a50 user post their benchmark's score and see how much diff between them for performance of their combination of disk+proc+vga.? The only thing that xiaomi wont ever win from samsung would be their screen but for this case both are 403 ppi so they are close ro each other. And for the camera itself u guys are using an auto for their settings its really depend on which setting the app will use for ur picture when its taken, even my a2 can win from my s8+ when the apps of my s8 choose the wrong setting and im using an manual on my a2, so please dont use thr auto settings for camera as the refferences, use the manual, with same setting and same lighting condition to compare them. But the only thing i can vouch for ssmsung after using quite alot of both of samsung's and xiaomi's device, is their durable including tge proc, ram, disk, housing which xiaomi wont ever last longer than samsung (doesnt inlcude the factory faulting) For example my s7 edge still able to run quite well until now with slightly drop in performance while the housing it self are not considered as good since year ago But for most of my xiaomi including the mi4s which was their flagship at that time its already drop like hell after a year on performance. Fyi im an expert user, so dont tell me that i might ruin my own phone due to virus, overloaded etc etc. And yes both phone are working in the hell, gaming, vr, running on 50-70celcius for couple of hours you name it. Even my mi4s rubbrt for its volume button melt down after a months lol, well the rubber for my s7 edge also have the same fate after 2years but still the durable for samsung is quite diff for this both brands, well what u pay is what u get, there is no magic in here to get everything better on the lower price

  • Yes, I have used the A9, which is the top model in the A series and much more expensive than A50. It has terrible cameras.

  • Sorry just noticed your question : Oct 2018.

  • I don't know why you guys keep on insulting the specs of this phone mainly its camera quality. Well it has an awesome specs for its price, well duh cuz it is a budget phone. You can't expect more without a fallback.

  • hmm... not sure about that. mine actually got more efficient. well, i had nothing to compare to because soon as i was setting it up still it was updated to pie. per my usage- casual gaming/moderate social media/high usage for media streaming/mobile data always on/bluetooth always on/using mostly lte- i get up to 10 hours of screen-on-time. that translates to 2 days for me as i limit my usage to around 5 hours a day. on standby the phone barely uses battery even if it polls every after so many minutes information from my fitness band. one thing i do by the way after every update is to clear cache then reboot the phone one more time.

  • Wow thank you man for sharing your experience with pocophone. I'm still on the factory firmware. Guess I will not be updating my phone because this is my gaming phone & I really need every bit of juice from the battery to last me throughout the day.

  • The fix is try to factory reset the phone yeah it sucks that after the pie update the battery drain so fast regretting that i updated it.

  • Manufacturing month of ur phone?

  • This is missleading, pocophone has good to great camera, dependant on how tech sawy it's user is ( it needs some tampering ). After instalation of gcam it can hang in there with the majority of flagships ( proven by MKBHD and his twitter cellphone camera battle thingie in which users graded cameras of cellphones and poco finnished 2nd, just behind honor mate 20 pro ). The things that pocophone lacks are water ressistance and amoled display, and you won't be able to notice how good or bad it's screen actually is unless you put it next to devices that have amoled displays.

  • Just bought this pocophone F1 as a gaming a phone and it is definitely worth it. 4 hours straight of pubg on the highest setting and I still have 40% left. No other phone can do that!! The phone temperature throughout the 4 hours of pubg is never more than 41'C. This pocophone F1 is a certified beast!

  • I tried A50 camera at a store, i`m sorry to say that it took really worst photos & selfies. I think the things are good on A50 are Amoled and UI. But for performance poco beats every mid ranger & only comparable with flagships. And with Gcam poco is way better in camera department also. Personal Experience..

  • Samsung Galaxy A50 is much better as it has a nice design, better camera and ram management, in display fingerprint, android pie with one ui and much more. It is a bit slower than poco f1. But both phones give smooth performance while gaming.

  • I read somewhere that Poco f1 was made into 3 batches.1st batch(march_july) having freeze, lag, bleed issue. 2nd batch(august_sep manufacturing date) having youch lag issue. 3rd manufacturing batch (oct _feb 2019) No issues. Is it true?

  • What's the name of the seller in Shoppee? Anyways I tried leaving a comment for you on the longer term review of the pocophone F1 man hoping you can answer those questions.

  • Rheasourus, I am thinking about the same. The A50 is probably better if you are a normal phone user. I will probably buy the Poco but i will have to root it and install custom ROM because the stock ROM sucks! So if you are skilled in phones you can try Poco but the A50 is better out of the box in my opinion.

  • After pie update battery is draining so fast. Anyone facing the same issue??

  • Which is better overall and has more advantage/features? Samsung Galaxy A50 or the Pocophone F1?

  • stick with mi8 with similar spec and 4000ma battery also drain very quickly playing PUBG

  • Thanks for your reply. I think the problem with my Bluetooth connection is when the F1 and Galaxy watch are separated and lose their connection, they do not then automatically reconnect when within range again, and it has to be done manually.

  • i don't have a galaxy watch and as such i am not able to say if it is the phone or your watch that's having problem staying connected. then again i also use my f1's bluetooth connection with several other bluetooth devices like my mi band, 2 headsets,3 home hi-fi systems, and my car's audio system but i never had any disconnections so far. i am running the latest os version.

  • I have recently bought the Poco F1 but I'm having problems with it regularly losing Bluetooth contact with my Galaxy watch. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm currently holding off the firmware update to Android Pie due to poor feedback. Would that sort my problem?

  • shopee is currently having a sale for pocophone f1. i got mine from a similar sale more than 2 months ago for PhP12,400. i think the sale price at the moment is PhP14,500. it is the same seller i got my unit from and they delivered mine within 24 hours.

  • ok. thanks for the suggestion. it only happened twice and the last time was about a week ago. i got the update with the security patch for february about the same time it happened, so i am not sure if it has anything to do with that.

  • amazing phone at this price

  • It is available in Shoppee at xiaomi's official store.

  • The calendar 3x3 widget doesn't update the date each day.

  • when will be this going on stock here in Philippines?

  • Being using it since 31st Aug 2018. Still on original factory firmware, never updated. Use dark/black as homescreen for the past 5 years and 3 phones. Happily to report that I experience no such moment. May I suggest that you try a different dark theme image, just to be sure. If it still persist then perhaps it is the source file itself.

  • 2 months using the phone and have developed this little issue. it is not that much to bother me but i just thought i may ask anyway as it seems to be no one has posted this here before. there were 2 instances wherein a faint image of the previous app stayed on the screen for like half an hour. it is similar to a burn in or ghosting, but very faint to almost unnoticeable. i always use dark wallpapers. it only happened twice- like a week apart. i thought it was impossible that the wallpaper is responsible but i changed wallpapers anyway. the ghosting stayed even after numerous wallpaper changes and it lasted for around 30 minutes. again, it is very faint that it is almost unnoticeable even as i use other apps. i have tried clearing cache and ram, but it wouldn't help. i am just curious if anybody here have had this issue?

  • No it's just Pocophone F1 is called Poco F1 in India that's all

  • Thanks.

  • New security patch of February and updated GPU drivers for better performance in games

  • Get your phone for warranty for repair. I agree not all batch are made with equal quality, but get for repair is the only way to solve your problem. At least mine as everyday usage doesn't stuck and lag.

  • Second generations of Galaxy Watch or Gear onwards are compatible to all Android smartphone, just need to install the Galaxy Wearable apps, then you will able to paired and works with Galaxy Watch and Gear.

  • Did anyone try to use galaxy watch or gear watches with pocophone?

  • Which version your poco 64 or 128 ? So touch screen on mi8 is more responsive than poco ?

  • sorry for you sir because my phone still works fine.. n i think im using it almost 4 months now

  • whats the new feature in poco 10.2.3?

  • Its the same phone

  • Yes you can. This also have Google Camera integration inbuilt in its main camera. And Battery is too good. Also the camera now supports 960 super slo-mo.

  • Smartphone are never designed for long period of gaming. For high demand games such as PUBG, battery will drain very fast. I think a Qualcomm QC3.0 supported power pack or power bank is your ultimate solution for long period gaming. Optionally, you can buy Qualcomm QC3.0 car charger, where if you are passenger, you can charge your phone, else when you are driving, you can charge your phone as well to replenish the battery.

  • Oh! Thank info guys! ^_^

  • For all that concern on PUBG playability, due to ghost touch, lose touch or hang on Pocophone F1, it is part of PUBG issue. Do remember when playing high demand game such as PUBG, it demand more CPU and GPU resources. If you install many bloated apps such as FB, and any other small apps that also use the same CPU resource, then you will feel this kind of hang. I won't say smartphone gaming are long way to go, but it is just like those gaming PC, there are mileage different between different processor, different graphic card, different motherboard, different keyboard, different mouse, and also different OS, such as in between Windows 7 and Windows 10. These games, unlike those PS4 and XBOX game that has to make sure to tune the playability to match the console performance, simply PC has no such tuning. They just mention the minimum requirements, then the rest is up to player to upgrade their system for maximum performance, that involve how much cost you can invest, and certainly these hardware get outdated very fast. So, stop saying when other lower end SoC will play better games. For latest games experience, always the latest most powerful SoC is the best choice.

  • Is there any different between poco f1 or pocophone f1 ?

  • Its very ridiculous phone i have ever seen by mi. Its keep lagging again and again most of the times keyboard get stuck and even most of the times when I play pubg it freeze on wrong time even i was using mi a2 before this phone that phone was really awesome and it didnt worth any money. Wasted my 20k on this phone pathetic service even i went to mi service centre they tried to fix it and they said we will change manual harware and i said okay and when i went again they said we changed it and whn i took the phone it woking fine and after 2 hrs it again doing the same thng even now when i m typing it keep freezing. Pathetic MI pocophone.

  • It's true. I am using it. It's significantly better then stock app. Latest gcam for Poco.

  • Wait for Poco F2

  • Thanks for the info. I'm not a heavy user though so the other stuff is quite more than enough for me. Just one more question is it true that the you can download the Google Camera App to this phone?

  • sure.without any thought

  • Yes it is. No screen bleeding, no touch problems. Flagship experience on budget. 302k on Antutu. If you are heavy user then this phone is for you. You will get flagship cpu/gpu, camera, battery, infrared face recognition and fingerprint and mid-range display and body.

  • I'm planning to get this phone but was in doubt due to the issues that I've here. Is anyone can enough to tell me if this is still a good phone to buy?

  • Not yet in my country. Hahaha already cleared my doubt. Guess will saving this time, maybe waiting for new "Poco" or Black Shark. Thanks for helping here :)

  • I have problem from 1day have no speaker volume in ringing and notification with the new update.

  • could be by specific region my country doesn't support one n im okay with it

  • I thought PUBG got banned.

  • any error ?

  • So sir, are u suggesting me to stick with my current Mi 8? I don't know anything about pocophone, except about its specification is same with Mi 8 but with more battery. That's why I want to buy pocophone @ black shark as my 2nd phone for gaming purpose only (not serious gaming, just playing PUBG and Mobile Legends only)

  • This is the cheapest gaming phone i've ever seen, this one is worth it buying.

  • In may

  • I believe this phone is quite cheap due to it;s display style and bulkiness. Mi8 is ver stylish but yes this phone has better battery but mi8 seems to be more efficient

  • I'm using it since more than 6 months

  • same here

  • from how long you are using poco f1 ????

  • Mine works without any issue. MIUI 10.2.3.0, Android 9, 6GB/128GB. Connected to Samaung F6500W Bluray Home Theater System. Connected via 2.4Ghz WiFi, then connect Ethernet cable to the Miracast device.

  • When are we expecting Poco F2

  • I'm in dilema, should I buy this one or Blackshark. I already have a Mi 8, but the battery is small. Please suggest

  • Doesn't seem a devices fault. My friend has screen frreze issues on his galaxy s8, which i siluppose is due to the poor internet or switching between 3g to 4g in auto mode. This problem persists only on pubg mobile though. I played pubg mobile for few days and my network supports only 4g, thus faced no issues

  • Yes my phone displays 4G+ sign

  • SGD529 online price. For offline it may differ.

  • where are you from , 4,5G?

  • Is this still a good phone to get?

  • Yes its totally worth if you can be okay with the little drawbacks of the phone...in this price point it is the only one to offer so much..so totally worth a go.

  • Can it support 4.5g?

  • Thanks for your response n info...

  • After pie update face lock option not showing in my phone..

  • After MIUI 10.0 update in POCO F1, the Miracast screen mirroring feature didn't work.

  • In my nearest xiaomi store the price was RM 1300++, so with the money exchange rates it'll be five to four to five hundred plus Singapore dollars I guess.

  • There is some wrong information there, here it is: THE CAMERA CANNOT CAPTURE 960FPS -- it is converted to 940fps via software using the 240fps mode, motion interpolation is used. And this mode is only available after you update to android 9. You also lose the ability to hide the notch, unfortunately.. I had no screen bleeding issue, according to xiaomi, only 0.5% of all users had this issue. I actually had an issue regarding to the SIM activation, since xiaomi collects quite a lot of data, i tried to turn it off as much as i could, no rooting used, just built-in options. The issue was that i could not put a sim card in the phone, it would keep restarting. When i first used the phone, didnt put the sim card immediatly, i started using and configuring it without the SIM. I solved the issue by doing a hard reset on the device though, if you dont want this issue, then place your sim card in the phone before changing system configs.

  • Does anyone know what's the price of the phone in Singapore? Going on a trip there in a couple of weeks and will be buying the Poco there.

  • out of the box

  • Hi poco-ghosttouch-phone, Where 8gb RAM variant? :D

  • U can try one+ 6T

  • People r saying that they r facing screen issue. These issue start after update or out of the box phone condition?

  • As a POCO F1 user I during a month i was using this phone i had no problem at all about 2 or 3 times it froze in instagram app.. but everything else was working so i just closed the app and lunched it again and everything was fine. just one thing, when i use mobile data or a day or a long time, when i switch to wifi , it does not recognize wifi networks and i have to restart it.. other than this ... You will Love it

  • Never happened to me.

  • There is no perfect phone at this price point, even the Pocophone F1 is being said of having lower grade of LCD screen, and no AMOLED. But for everything else, Pocophone F1 beats Honor Play and Samsung A50, because it got performance and stability, big RAM, it's LCD can be used from day to day usage, despite not AMOLED, LCD is more durable than AMOLED. Honor Play actually comes as second best choice, maybe also can consider Honor View 10, and also Honor 10, mainly because Kirin 970 still perform far better than Exynos 9610. Of course if can spend a little bit more, ASUS Zenfone 5z and Xiaomi Mi8 are also good choices. At top of budget phone, maybe a little more expensive can also consider Oneplus 6T, LG G7, Honor View 20.

  • i've already done the updates. but there are still times that there are touch glitches.

  • yeah sure

  • Is it still worth it to buy a Poco?

  • I hope this works. I'm experiencing screen freeze while playing games.

  • I've not encountered and if the issues you mentioned. Been using it for e few months. I think the issues are prevalent in early models.

  • I am planning to get this, are the issues still there such as touch lag and screen bleeding? If the issues are still there, I would just go for Nokia 6.1 Plus..

  • No lag issues and good battery performance. Recommended!

  • waiting for poco f2. hope they will keep the ips screen and 3,5 jack.

  • Just bought this phone global version in Lithuania, this phone is lethal, screen on time I got over 7 hours, dual stereo speakers quite good quality, screen is perfect even it is LCD,fast charging, just for its price it is remarkable phone

  • Please help me to choose a phone my requirements are little bit abnormal, I have more then 1000 of whatsapp groups which is related to my business and i keep on adding many daily. i need a phone which does not hangs and have great ram management battery life, performance, display currently my mind is set to SamsungA50, Poco F1, Honor Play please let me know which will be best and if you have a better option let me know. I really need a stable good performance and good battery device with nice display.

  • Try updating your device. It was also happening when I first got mine. But it got resolved once I updated it.

  • I just got my Poco F1 a few days ago and let me tell you something, this phone is a beast! The screen bleeding issue was already resolved and that I believe the the issue with the first batches of the phone. Touch sensitivity issue was already resolved by the software update. :) Battery life is remarkable, I tell you that! Hope this helps!

  • Not really. I have been using the Pocophone since it launched in Oct 2018 and im pretty happy with it considering the mere RM1200+ i paid for it. Its the best smartphone in the market you can buy at this price currently. The only downside to it is that Xiaomi phone's screen tend to crack easily so i would recommend you to get a good screen protector to prevent that. Hope this helps :)

  • Pro tip, if you're facing ghost touch or screen freezing issues, got to settings and turn off full screen navigation and also turn off three fingers swipe for screenshot. It's a software bug that will hopefully be fixed with the upcoming update.

  • Is there anu issue about video recording? or something noise.

  • i planned to buy this phone, is there any issue about this phone?

  • i bought it on 1st march & from very 1st day i didn,t face any issue. i have global version

  • I planned to but poco but here people are saying that users r facing some sceen issues. Is it right?? Plz tell honest opinions otherwisw my money will be waste

  • mine has issues. i bought it last feb 7. most of the time i cant click anything on the screen and I have to click the lock the button for it to function again. can someone please help me. thank you in advance.

  • Camera is not stable

  • No, it doesn't.

  • No, but it has tap to wake.

  • Does this phone have an always-on display?

  • I get about 287k, try reboot the phone then run Antutu.

  • Same here, no touch issues

  • Its because they are using custom kernel and rom it depends on what is running on your pocophone if it is stock kernel and android pie then it will be just around220k

  • Xiomi don't want this phone to compete against their flagship phones. It's business move.

  • you do you. But those phones are kind of difficult to get and are kind of obsolete and it's prices are not what we call budget.

  • If I was getting a budget phone, I would just get an older flagship (from 2016 or older) instead of phones like this. Just what I would do.

  • So yeah how good is this phone

  • I don't know why it is abs plastic

  • and one more if you're going to use manual setting u neet a tripod phone must not moving when taking shots...

  • I have question why is my pocophone unit only gets around 220.000 score on Antutu? is this normal? i have seen other units with score of 285.000 and above My pocophone is update on Android Pie

  • camera is superb at low light condition if you know how to use manual...i have low light shot no flas just a bit of light...and the pics that i take is clear and no or maybe a little gray scale...the trouble is it the shots take a bit longer...

  • how's the camera performance - going from a nexus 6p?

  • guys, any reccommended Qaulcomm certified Quick Charge 4.0 wall charger to buy?

  • i have 128gb version and so far after 7 month i havent seen any issues

  • Yeah there are no issues same here.

  • I've been using the phone for 4 months. Haven't seen or felt the issues yet?

  • What do u mean by firmware? How do u not update it?

  • I believe the touch issue only arises after updating your firmware. If you maintain the original firmware you wouldn't have such problems.

  • I had touch delay and screen issues on 128GB version. That's the reason I returned it.

  • i am planning to buy Pocophone F1 - but if it has OS issues then i dont wish to even buy it - i need it for my bsuiness......pls advise what to do or is there a solution to this problem? i cant afford to be without a phone even for 1 hour......

  • oh no what will u do now then ?

  • im using 64gb variant and i have same issue, my friend using 128gb variant and didnt have this problem.. did xiaomi give replacement set for you?

  • I have been using the pocophone f1 for 2 weeks now and since the update on MIUI 10.2.2.0 stable the phone is not working well when I go to the service center i found out other users of pocophone having the same issue screen touch delay and worst of all screen freezing and we bought the same model the 64GB variant of pocophone f1. I also asked my friend who has the pocophone f1 128GB variant if he has the same issues he said he didnt have the same issue I also ask the guy who has the same variant if he has a friend who have the pocophone f1 128GB he said that he has a friend who have the pocophone 128GB and he said that he has no screen freeze issue.

  • Now this phone gets Widevine L1 support in latest MIUI beta.

  • Good: Great feeling in hands. It's plastic but very quality one and it's not slippery like most metal phones. Not overheating and mostly fast. Bad: Big notch but I already knew that before I brought it. Little bit of display bleeding. Touch sometimes not working. Because of those last two things I mentioned I returned it and got Mi8 for $60 more. I don't regret because Mi8 is so much better than Poco and it works perfectly all the time.

  • The authorised company store confirmed to me that yes both of the Sims support VOLTE.

  • Many Android phones exists with issues, mostly its software based. May times updates solve those issues. I bought 2, its a good phone to get

  • maybe its your SD card use the sd card with U3 class 10 64gb and up...mine i use 128gb u3 class10 use a high quality or good brand sd card bro...i didn't face any issue with SD CARD and Also if you're copying file from internal storage to sd card use the pre installed file manager app...

  • it has some issue like my cousin touch issue but after updating to pie its fix now and lucky for him he didn't got screen bleeding issue...im also poco users i got the phone on October 9.6.14 version no screen bleeding no touch issue works perfectly and im still on my old version cuz its work perfect for me...poco is more powerful than honor play...but its up to you if you're willing to play with pocos wheel of Fortune...

  • I’m planning to buy this. But upon seeing some reviews, it looks like there are some problems. Should I buy this over honor play?

  • Maybe spend a little extra and upgrade the cheap, slow SD card you are using ?.

  • yeah, my had that issue as well

  • I am having an issue with my pocophone camera. The camera application is lagging too much. It takes almost 4-5 seconds to take a picture and even more to time to make a video. Also to view the captured picture or video from phone it takes 5-7seconds. I have cleared the camera memory from the settings. Phone software is up-to-date. Any suggestions please guide me

  • Im poco user, i wanna ask, are there any user have problem with touch screen. Its not ghos touch, sometime the screen cant touch, if u touch nothing will happen, i touch it multiple time nothing happen for 5-8 seconds sometimes longer. When im playing pubg, if this happen, i need to turn off my screen and on again, then it will function normally. I have this problem with pubg and insta.. i hope its not hardware issie.

  • if u have lot of money go black shark,if not go poco f1

  • Hello guys???can you help me to pick which is better on gamings on XIAOMI???

  • mi9 really? no 3.5 jack, 3300mah battery , no card slot?... sure mi9 runs on 855 power efficient they say but i dont know if its True...its nice however its nice to have big Battery

  • I get about 2.5 days on a charge, keep in mind I am not a gamer, so mostly web, messenger, calls and texting

  • I get about 2.5 days on a charge, keep in mind I am not a gamer, so mostly web, messenger, calls and texting

  • It better be for $200 more. This however doesn't change the fact that the F1 is an ugly, plastic phone with a big notch. The OP is on a budget and the current market offers very few handsets with the A2 performance for it's price range, The F1 is also very limited in terms of "global market usages, since it lacks some very important bands, like B4 / AWS. Sometimes gaming performance is not the leading factor in ppl choice of handsets.

  • Use custom rom. Learn it from u tube.

  • almost a month using it now and so far, so good. well, a little not so good. although this was already mentioned in the review, i only got to test it a few days ago- the unbalanced "stereo" speakers. because one of the stereo channels is routed to the earpiece speaker, it does sound alot weaker than the bottom firing one. after renting "bohemian rhapsody" online, i decided to fire up the song. comes the "galileo" part, the voice is shuffled between the left and right channel and the part that goes to the earpiece speaker is barely audible, making for an unbalanced stereo.

  • One thing I forgot to you, it also has night sight through Google camera which is super awesome. You get the best value for money flagship if you for poco f1.

  • Poco f1 is much better than A2 in every aspect, and with the Google camera the poco f1 is miles ahead of A2. Sorry if I hurt your feelings, but that's the truth.

  • Bro u must go for Poco. As Asus max prp M2 battry is sure for 5000 maH but it not work like 5000 mah.

  • Have you bought the phone yet? If not, I recommend you to wait and get Xiaomi Mi 9. TOTALLY 1000000% no regret. Trust me.

  • Don't play mobile legends.

  • how's the battery life bro on a2

  • Ghost touch still an issue on the phone, how to fix it? T-T

  • I am planning to upgrade my Honor 8 phone. But I am confused between Asus zenfone 5z and Poco F1. I am more into listening music and watching videos plus battery and camera is my priority. Someone please help me

  • Stupid ghost touch issue. Not worth buying. It's hardware problem not software problem, so don't get fooled by Xiaomi telling you they gonna release an update to fix the problem... Trash phone

  • if you are more considered about games and speed definitely poco is the choice if you are more into camera and looks then mi . however my opinion would be poco it has better battery life and specs

  • do you know any other flagship these days that has removable battery???

  • Hi All - The Great techie's - Need a small help. I wish to buy POCO F1, but do have few queries related to it:- 1. Are both of the SIM slots compatible of Volte. 2. To which all Android versions the OS will be upgraded or till how many years the Xiaomi commit to upgrade the Android version, likewise in Android One, Google commit to give OS upgrade for at least 2 Years. 3. Which Corning Gorilla Glass version it has on the screen. 4. How much internal space the POCO OS occupies and how much space the Android One OS occupies.

  • Pocophone

  • One terrible flaw: Non removable battery

  • I went with the A2 and saved about $200- No regrets, no bloatware, No skin, The SD660 is plenty fast and battery life is good too. It has an awesome camera, front flash, OTG, 4K Video, etc. Oh and no notch! I am writing this on my A2, Go for it mate!

  • my dear no one match the speed camera battery and performance of Poco F1 Go with it without any fear

  • I have the android 1 mia2, and regret not getting the poco everyday

  • poco f1

  • Can't decide what to buy between PocoF1 and Mi A2(Android One). I have limited budget, but still I want to have the better/best. Help me choose.

  • I have zero hardware problems so far. The big curved chin is not the best looking, but I get used to it now.

  • All ready to rush out and buy one.... because it has EVERYTHING until I read the specs and found one massive omission... NFC. Once you have used a phone with NFC you will never want one without it. My hunt continues.

  • I wanna buy this guy but use custom rom, oxygen os. Do you have hardware problems? Is the bezels ugly?

  • nice story bro. i think poco should consider to release a teaser with same story

  • Have you seen the game rendered better on other phones with SD845? I think it is the game poor optimization issue rather than because of SD845.

  • This is good gaming and flagship mobile in India.

  • You can download an app called Nacho Notch from Playstore. It will add itself to the toggles at the top notification area where you an enable / disable the notch at will.

  • how thick is the chin on this phone??

  • Pocophone F1 can help you save your money. You don't need a 1000 dollars phone. All you need is a pocophone & some extra cash.

  • “Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements , could stop them. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar, an airbender named Poco, and although his airbending skills are great, he still has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe Poco can save the world.” - Xiaomi 2018

  • Nice phone tho and almost no lag when gaming and it’s charge realy quick

  • why the Pocophone f1 snapdragon 845 ugly graphics blurred to nba 2k19

  • this is best price phone i try it

  • A huge selection of various wallpapers, and very beautiful landscape wallpapers.

  • Yes, almost all the top camera phones use Sony sensors, and IMX363 on this Pocophone is one of their best sensors.

  • Agree, using GCam and it's better for night photos.

  • No hide notch option after updating to 9.0 Pie.. Can I hide the notch??

  • is there anyone here experiencing an issue where sometimes after you unlock your phone, a setting pops up and it is in different language like russian maybe or more of a symbol letters? it's really annoying.

  • I recently bought Huawei Y7 pro (2019) for 179 $ ,not satisfied with camera, itz very poor quality. So I thought to exchange that with Pocophone F1 for 307 $ doest it worth buying it now in 2019 Feb coz Xiaomi about release poco F2 in early 2019? & is there still any display issues ?

  • No

  • Does the pocophone work well with the network in the caribbean?

  • Use the phone update

  • Does poco F1 support volte on idea sim?

  • Guys my phone doesn't vibrate when my call is answered .. although vibration is on in the settings please help

  • Same :(

  • Yes, I'm using GCam too, top notch camera hardware combined with top software gets good results.

  • The notification bar can be drag down on home screen by performing any swipe down gesture on middle of the screen, the most common way of course is swipe down from top of the screen. Mine with latest MIUI 10.2.2.0 doesn't face this issue, in fact is pretty fast, as I always check if the phone is charging with QC3.0 charging speed.

  • Well said & thank you

  • i haven't experienced this. but then i am new and no more than a month with this phone.

  • are you sure? do you know exactly what screen on time is? 22-24 hours of screen on time is only possible with batteries over 10,000 mAh. i think you are talking about the phone's endurance between charges? if this is the case i can easily get up to a week without charging if i use my pocophone only lightly. screen on time is the number of hours you are actually using and interacting with the screen of the phone, hence- "screen ON time", meaning the screen is on. anyways, to update, i previously said i can get up to 8 hours of screen on time and still have 25% juice left; the other day i tested it 'til the battery is totally drained and i got 10.44 hours of screen on time. so, roughly 10% per hour? my usage is anything from social media, video streaming, local videos, light to moderate gaming (about 1-2 hours with 25% at least on a high graphics games), and about 2 hours of using my djing apps with an external controller. all throughout i have my display birghtness on auto. as they say, your mileage may vary. i have used alot of smartphones from sony to samsung (this is the first one i have used of a chinese brand) since 2008 (windows powered xperia x1), and every single one of them i'm stressed out by the battery drain once i unplug from the charger. with the pocophone though, i never have to be mindful of the battery percentage that i have set the notification to display only the graphic representation for the battery.

  • Hi! anyone here having a hard time dragging down the notification bar? Im having difficulties dragging it down I have to drag it several times. Will appreciate your feedback

  • Goodbye Moto, hello Poco

  • ok. but no need to reset before upgrading right? and one more thing i don't know the diffrence between factory reseting and flashing

  • Just let the update do his thing and you will have android 9.0 pie installed in no time...you don't have to flash

  • After any major upgrade, like going from Oreo to Pie, is recommended a factory reset.

  • guys i just bought the poco f1 and i want to update to android pie but i was wondering since i just bought it and haven't used it (didn't install any apps or anything. just unboxed it and turned it on) i don't still have to flash the phone before updating, do i? can i just download the update from system setting and let it install?

  • right mate.

  • 1st of all, this Poco F1 is employing a poor LCD screen, with poor contrast, very less saturated color, and poor viewing angle. The screen bleed is part of the poor LCD viewing angle issue. If you comes from AMOLED or any better LCD screen, simply you will hate this screen. The screen bleed is visible at night where at low light environment, it is very visible. You should hand-on one unit to see it for yourself before buying.

  • Is screen bleed issue a big deal here? I like poco but I'm bothered by it's screen bleed issue. Can you give me an advice about it?

  • I never said this device is good or bad, I said it is all down to personal expectations and preferences. For sure those from Indian and PH just bash this device without considering the price point, seems like with this low price, it should beat the budget king like Oneplus 6/6T, or simply must beat Samsung Note 9, Huawei Mate 20 Pro, simply this Pocophone F1 is not, and many proper reviewer did mention that. Good or bad? I think at this price point, it is the most value for money. The only thing I saw missing is NFC, some might say it lack Widewine L1 support for Netflix HD, then some complain the touchscreen issue, screen bleed issue, GPS issue. Out of all these, I only bothered by it's touchscreen, mine are over sensitive, no loose touch, but I get used to it. Screen bleed become non-issue for me as it only happen on small lower part of the screen, which actually goes unnoticeable almost 5 months of usage. Then I don't watch Netflix, I only watch Youtube. I also doesn't use NFC, not because I don't want to use it, but really at my region, NFC payment almost cease to 0 usage. I also does not face the GPS issue. I don't use my smartphone under water either. I also don't against it's MIUI either, I am the one who can adapt to any UI usage pattern, as long as I can Whatapps, Wechat, Facebook, gaming, and web browsing, I just doesn't care it's UI, just need some time to get used to it. You see, certainly this phone has it's own flaws and not everyone can accept these flaws. Those who bash are mostly because they wish this phone will works just like the expensive phone that they bought before, but got disappointed when it isn't, because when people already get used to better expensive product, they can't look back at those product that is lower grade. Not try to convince you to buy this phone, but you should made up your mind before considering.

  • I dont think this device is good because i read a lot of bad experience about this phone on PH groups and indian group .

  • That is pretty much the reason why most all manufacturers use Sony sensors. For example, the phone with the best camera ( Pixel 3) uses the Sony IMX355

  • Please ignore those basher post. Yes, Sony's camera sensors are among the more favorable OEM sensors brand, not just smartphone camera sensors, but industrial camera sensors as well. However, in smartphone, camera lens and camera post-processing are equally important for better image quality, this is where on some smartphone it can achieve better results, Google GCam proof that by their algorithm calculations, an image captured by smartphone camera can be improved vastly. So, these smartphone brand takes the post-processing and lenses with different approaches, which result in different outcomes. Of course for average consumers, we doesn't matter all these technical stuff, we only care by the end, which smartphone camera give better image quality.

  • Really depend what game you are playing for. If you play high graphic demand game such as PUBG, 4 hours straight considered normal in these day, unless the battery life start to degrade from time to time usage. Also depend if you install many apps or just installing a single game, every installed apps might run in the background. The other thing will depend on optimization where some game will drain more battery while playing, given it is using LCD also will drain more battery than AMOLED on certain occasion. You will realize despite latest processor already made with 7nm process, but it doesn't mean goes more power efficient compared to 10nm processor, because simply 7nm would also means manufacturer can cram in more transistor gate for making a processor more powerful, that in turn also will use similar power consumption on full scale high demand process.

  • Please check that you understand what is SOT and overall battery life before charging. He mentioned 6 hours SOT doesn't means after 6 hours the phone need to charge, it does means overall maybe in 24 hours or more than 1 day time before charging uses a combined 6 hours of "Screen On Time". Only the endurance king such as Lenovo P2 with Full HD AMOLED screen, 5100mah battery combined with SD625 14nm processor can nearly achieve 24 hour SOT. But this is also only theoretical as smartphone do run many background process on apps, consume battery on cellular network more than WiFi, so it will reduce close to half in real life usage.

  • Sony is the best in mobile camera sensors. For example, Huawei P20 Pro and Mate 20 Pro use Sony IMX 600 sensor.

  • is it true that u can game on this phone for 4 hours straight? ive bought honor play a month ago and it drains battery a lot if playing games for 4 hours straight.. hmm.. only the battery issue makes me unhappy with it.. should i switch to poco then?

  • I have the regular mate 20 and I can get 22-24 hours of screen time. Maybe because mine is just an lcd not the amoled one. I'm also using 2 sims. Before with 1 sim I rarely charge my phone every other day. So maybe there's something wrong with your brother's mate 20 pro cause mine has good battery. I can screenshot the proof.

  • Seems like you really try hard to bash this phone. No phone is perfect, it is just personal preference. It is normal for average users to support and become fans on the smartphone that they are currently using, so to make them feel proud on using it, or also can become the total opposite that hate this phone so much. All in all, it is down to every individual expectation on what a cheap high specs smartphone can be. Different people of course has different expectation, and certainly majority want everything at this low price, which is impossible, that is typical human greediness.

  • hi. the selfie camera has fixed focus, and this is the same with all other smartphones with fixed focus selfie cameras.

  • Actually ur poco is overrted in price even fans and become similer to undertale fandom Overheat seen in my first time i tested pocophone in dolphin emulator and smart ppl acctped the truth and they saying pocophone camera better than TV shows camera

  • Well said & thank you

  • Mate 10 and mate 10 pro are simply an oven due to Kirin 970 overheating problems and if you don't like the Pocophone why are you spamming posts here? Go and enjoy your phone without forcing your opinion on others, some people are smart and they buy the best value for money smartphone that gives flagship performance , stays cool, big battery and awesome camera

  • before note 5 arrive not 4 first so basically it came from note 4 lol again...wow glass back whats the use can u tell me? my girlfriend has s9+ but i really don't get the point if u don't put case when phone accidentally drop high chance of getting the glass will crack...so she put back case guess what I can't see the glass anymore bro where's the glass now? whats the use?...

  • wow lol now you're talking about the built quality...yah yah its strong built quality and thats it... u can show off the built quality all day as u like but the specs i bet u can't lol...super lol

  • How thick are the chin and bezels?

  • Actually mate 10 DESIGN was from note 5 and mixed with other mobiles in 2017 after all mate10 had gorillaclass 5 from the back with qHD screen even unlike ur super alien Technology phone Pocophone had used old plastic seen in the orgianl GBA 2000 back and screen less quailty than s5 screen y

  • Actually mate 10 stronger than pocophone and Honor play even and u know that lol

  • F1 was ok to me.but the problem is while taking selfies it capture front face clearly and rest faces are blurry while capturing in normal mode not portrait.any one can suggest.i am running oreo version.

  • wow really your matte 10 is cooler and faster with pie update good for you... while mine is literally cooler than your matte 10 thanks to liquid cooling system but wait there's more it's also faster even im not updating yet to pie...i wonder whats gonna happen if i update to pie i bet it will be more faster...and i really don't feel the phone is come from 2013 because of the specs...what about bad DESIGN you say? I can't notice it because im using a armmor case...and copying the iPhone x from 2017 lol how about your matte 10 it looks like Samsung note 4 from 2014 haha every one is copying design is it still shock you? for real? you are a total LOL...hahaha

  • Please elaborate who or what is everything?

  • You know why hiz price better

  • Hey can't compare the price range is huge obvio one plus is gonna stand out superioir

  • how can i see it if it is fake?

  • Actually some Chinese queilty better than japs Because u can see it on huawei or other things after all Pocophone F1 is fake

  • Haha exactly!

  • OV is a Chinese supplier that makes cheap camera sensors, they're not owned by Huawei, and obviously not better than Sony.

  • Actually play had camera from huawei Pocophone F1 is like hicopy mobile everything made from others pls sony v is losing to against note9 camera or p20

  • One plus win before pocophone F1 come The company is everything

  • on gsma's review of the honor play- "Xiaomi did the same thing with the Pocophone experiment and, well, it did it better. The Pocophone, where available, is cheaper, yet more powerful, has better all-around camera experience, and more features such as stereo speakers and FM radio." i have the two compared as well side by side and honor play couldn't touch the f1 with a ten foot pole.

  • On actual real-life usage and performance which selfie and rear camera phones of the Pocophone F1 and the OnePlus 6: 1. A selfie camera with image stabilization, fast autofocus, wide angle lens, great in low-light and the overall sharpness/natural colour/dynamic range. 2. A front camera with image and video stabilization, great in low light, wide angle lens, fast autofocus, natural colours, great dynamic range, high audio bitrate in video. 3. Google Lens built-in camera app? 4. More optimized portrait shots (w/ background blur or defocus)?

  • I said I used both phones in real life, even compared their cameras side-by-side, and Pocophone has much better cameras. This shouldn't come as a surprise to someone who knows the hardware. Pocophone has flagship level sensor: Sony IMX363 with f/1.9 aperture. Honor Play has a no-name sensor: OV16B10 with f/2.2 aperture.

  • Or someone made and made account similer to my name just for GBA 2018 If you care about Snapdragon 845 just go to sony The mobile is not plastic with fake camera and the price similer to ur Pedophonef1

  • Actually huawei beat xiamoi in everything not just a GBA with Sim card Play Resident evil 4 on huawei mate20 and its full speed Unlike Resident Evil 4 its more lagg in the two Giant BOSSES part Kirin 980 and exynos 9 stronger than snapdragon 845

  • Mate 10 gets 9 hours and i play wii emulators ( Resident evil the darksiad) in Android Pie Pocophone gets 6-7 hours When i play scelar gamegube

  • Stop making other channels for making nonsenes stuff Huawei and samsung are real companies after all they made phones with warrnty unlike ur xiaomi its fake with fake cameras and fake quailty and this why xiaomi mobiles cheaper than alctel and motorola

  • yes, my Samsung phone lags after few months of usage. My Oppo, which is older than Samsung, works as fast as the way it was working initially.

  • Great phone. Fast, snappy great camera (especially with the gcam .apk) only one complaint. The fm radio app is awful (bad reception and crashes sometimes).

  • Avoid Huawei phone their software-hardware optimisations are bad- that means afwul performance,so laggy(simmilar to Samsungs performance) and it will also slow down and become more laggy in time- very bad in long terms of usage. When u buy a machine(car, phone, whatever) the most important thing is that machine works(performes) properly. In every way Xiaomi is better, camera of Poco is much better now then it was in time the phone was realised because its improved by software upgrades, battery is better on Xiaomi, everything is better on Xiaomi.

  • Mine's $293 here.

  • Actually 970 still can do 86% of Snapdragon 845 do Pls i don't care about mobile getting huge 3DMARK number because real life is everything Nokia 8.1 is weak in 3DMARK but in real life he did better than pocophone and one plus6

  • There's other mobiles had Snapdragon 845 with price similer to pocophone Today sonySD845 cheaper than pocophone i most of asian countries pocophone F1 is 400$, honor play and Z2SD845 are 266$

  • just search on xda- they have a hub there for gcam ports for mi8, and it works also for the f1. manual mode and night sight (although i don't get the idea of taking a picture in a dark environment but make it look like it is in a bright environment) are simply amazing manyfolds compared to the inbuilt camera app.

  • easily get 8 hours of screen on time with 25% battery left, while my cousin's flagship mate with 4200mah only get 6 hours screen on time with totally drained battery. yes, the plastic build feels cheap indeed, but you can simply put on a case. what is important is real-life performance, in which the f1 razes the competition including the mate flagships.

  • 'Cheap's not a word I want to say, sorry. I mean, the phone is high end and great value for money,

  • talking about battery life- real-life performance of the f1's 4000mah gives me up to 8 hours of screen on time with still 25% battery left. whereas my cousin's huawei mate 20 pro that has 4200mah battery only can manage 6 hours of screen on time and totally drained. huawei can't simply beat the pocophone f1 on performance and endurance in any of their current flagships if based on actual usage. huawei have been caught before cheating in benchmarks.

  • Someone is very upset with his selection it seems.. hahahaha.. The one and only reason where poco is down is its build quality and yes, considering the price point we cant demand more. Poco is the best in every other aspect.. There is clearly no competition with Honor whatsoever... Camera, Liquid Cooling, IR detection that unlocks in pitch darkness... Poco is a feel dude... You wont understand... Your intention is clear when you say s5, 2013 etc... No one cares 😂😂😂

  • I don't want to tell my previous phone experience. Anyway, Pocophone may not be a completely perfect phone. But, its price and specs makes a lot of its quirks and niggles easier to live with than they would have been if it had been priced like most flagships nowadays. Besides, I don't care the design. All I need is a budget phone with high specs. That's why I chose it. Now, it's really great for me.

  • Somebody can help me how to install the google camera on my phone ?

  • I do hope your Premium Build quality helps your Kirin 970 performs better than SD845

  • Its error on my key board i actually said even mate 8 better than pocophone Body queilty and screen and longer bettery life

  • Exactly! Couldn't have said it better.

  • Read this Maybe huawei is the number 1 now In Sales m.gadgetsnow.com/mobiles/huawei-is-beating-samsung-in-its-own-game-heres-how/amp_articleshow/66819682.cms

  • Nice joke kid I had mate 10 and its become cooler and faster in Android Pie update, mobile with cheap plastic and DESIGN makes u feel u are back in 2013 and this why Pocophone F1 copied from IPhone x touch screen but other problem pocophone copied GBA plastic from the back

  • We know pocophone F1 fans mading more than one channels for saying pocophone F1 is made by aliens Technology can beat huawei mate 66 from the futur but the truth even s5 better because s5 is a mobile had ramoved bettery life unlike pocophone is GBA with Snapdragon 845

  • Replacing my Samsung Galaxy S5 with Pocophone. The best ever phone for me. Really love it.

  • the only good in honor play is built quality thats it.a phone that will make u piss after a month because after you enjoy its built quality you will start thinking about the specs and then u will start thinking that u should go for poco in the first place and then start blaming poco because poco make u realize that you made a big mistake for choosing HP...just like what your doing right now trolling because you made a BIG mistake...super LOL HAHAHA...

  • I did not know it. Is it really that?? 🤣😂

  • Actually the bettery life in honor play longer than pocophone, Snapdragon 845 is made for going and this why 4000stil law bettery life in SD pocophone F1 need 5000 bettery life

  • Everybody know that xiamoi is like alctel it can be better than huawei, huawei is the only good Chinese company made stuff similer to IPhone and samsung

  • Cool story bro in your logic p2 better quailty than ps4

  • well i think yours is faulty. mine is 128gb and also have sandisk 400gb on it and saw no problem its always is 4g

  • can you give us the source which said about oneplus and xiaomi. if its your idea only its nonsense but if you have any source please post it here

  • honor play has worst batterylife. if you want for gaming forget honor play. also snapdragon 845 is far better than kirin in honor play

  • Since you're asked this in the pocophone thread of course you're gonna get the expected answer. Try asking in honor play thread, you will get the same expected answer : pocophone F1

  • U take about pocophone her The Audio in pocophone is like nokia 8 2009 In fact any android in 2015 to 2019 better than pocophone in fact pocophone F1 shbe made in 2012 not this year pls pocophone used plastic from GBA

  • HonorPlay for better DESIGN and camera even warrnty Pocophone F1 had more problem

  • Pocophone F1 or Honor Play ? I am confused

  • Agreed huawei and samsung better

  • The plastic is plastic u cant made pocophone body more powerfull than the strongist mobile in the histroy mate10 watch?v=rh8PcMQd3DM&t=9s

  • Absolutely. Never buy from xiaomi again.

  • Absolutely. Same issue and never buy again xiaomi

  • Probably u are using the honor play without updating to android 9 as hand-held night mode comes with the update...

  • 2 weeks using the phone and still rocking solid. don't mind the criticisms about the plastic build as it is easily resolved by a case. i was able to compare it with a friend's iphone xs and huawei p20 pro, and i can say the measly prices pocophone is at par with the 2's performance- it's blazingly fast! even the camera is blowing the competition out of the water; i have installed a gcam port for pocophone f1 and it makes the camera even better; night shift is incredible. the battery last me the whole day with enough juice for up to 8 hours of screen-on-time. yes, it doesn't have ip rating nor wireless charging, but you can't beat its value for your money. i haven't had any of the issues being reported by users here such as screen bleeding nor ghost touches. perhaps my only complaint is the pretty quiet volume on headsets.

  • There is a kevlar edition which is much more resistant to heat

  • Gcam not that changed its like any normal app the camera can’t changed by app but it can be changed by other phone

  • Nova 3 have warrnty Pocophone F1 is Plastic is soluble from the heat of the sun

  • This like saying ps2 better than ps4 The ps2 is pocophone the plastic The ps4 is platmy the gorillaclass matel 20k or 40k we see the truth in the eyes pocophone camera is very poor and fake oh and the worse thing ever his name is child (pocophone) sounds like pokemon or something made for kids unlike HonorPlay or mate 10 they are a true mobiles, pocophone F1 overrted because pokemon and gaming fans only but in real life he is bad mobile in everything the green coloers in the dark is missed up, gcam will never make it like camera made by aliens

  • You said you have it in the net but in real most of ppl said that play camera better, pls huawei is still the number 2 after samsung in mobiles quailty even one plus mobiles more powerfull than xiaomi

  • Choose Pocophone F1 blindly it's an insane value for money and it's gonna be just as fast after 2 years because of the flagship chipset. Huawei Nova 3 is bad when it comes to gaming because they use Kirin 970 chipset which overheats easily and the speaker is cheap quity and has bad audio through speakers and headphones. The Pocophone has a bigger battery, cooling system and is way better than Nova 3

  • You are comparing POCO with Huawei high end phone? Have you lost your mind? 20k phone comparing with double rate of phone 40k lol and expecting so much,

  • Pocophone f1 Huawei nova 3 Which one should I get? The criteria for my phone : smooth using experience, able to stay fast after 2 years

  • My problem is suddenly power failure when working on poco f1 . please gave me a suggestion

  • install gcam, solve everything

  • Its not that nly your phone my friend on A7 have same situatiin I think its optional check FB app settings

  • If they cant fix the screen freeze and multi touch problem they should give us a full refund

  • You said you have it in the net but in real most of ppl said that play camera better, pls huawei is still the number 2 after samsung in mobiles quailty even one plus mobiles more powerfull than xiaomi

  • Chip is nothing to do with camera quailt Nokia 8.1 is 20m with Snapdragon 710 and the camera stronger than samsung note 9 Snapdragon 845 Edition I make test btween pocophone and mate 10 camera and i see mate was better in more times and they other problem in pocophone When u used sd card the mobile become 3g and some times the net data closed the company her self Recognized the existence of technical errors

  • Go to settings and set the equaliser to youth earbuds and the volume will improve a lot.

  • When it comes to gameplay, its having low volume through headphones. Only issue that i have as of now.. Apart from rooting or a third party, is there a solution for this !?

  • I hope the pocophone f2 doesnt have a notch..

  • does anyone here having an issue on the latest security patch of January? everytime I use facebook when I turn off my data coz im at work my friends and family will pm me why am I online and they know that we are not allowed to use mobile phone at work. Even though im already logged out for about a few hours already. I also observe that i never left my data on before i go back to work as well as i kill all apps before leaving my phone on my bag. I also check the devices logged in on facebook settings and all i saw is jst my poco. Its kinda creepy and weird

  • I've used both, and Pocophone's camera is much better especially in low light. Honor Play's camera is not even better than Redmi Note 5.

  • So dont buy ps5 if you don't care about futur Technology because mate10 or honor are futur mobiles pocophone F1 is mobile should be in 2013 plastic mobiles ars old

  • Pocophone F1 is better than Honor play in every way no matter what you say. It rhymes huh? Better battery, camera, SD 845 is on another level and can't be compared with Kirin 970 which simply a throttling machine , liquid cooling etc the only argument Honor fans has is the build quality and I don't mind plastic if I'm gonna get epic performance. Buy what you want but don't try to misguide people.

  • What kind of issues? The phone is great and I'm not facing any issues.

  • You will lose the privilege of getting ripped off by the most profitable company in the world.

  • Nope back to time with old nokia with 45 mega camera in real is weaker than galaxy s2 12m camera HonorPlay is 16 mega and had details better Honor play had good quailty in the night pocophone F1 had green coloers in more times and i test that on my arts pls pocophone had more problems in screen and sim in fact pocophone price was made for Snapdragon 845 other things is very bad pls in most android games Snapdragon 845 and k970 similer Snapdragon 845 better in demonps2 only

  • Thanks bossku. Can't wait to buy this phone

  • Dear Xiaomi, Please release F2 with Android One...I'll buy your phone again right now I'm facing a lot of issues software related with F1

  • u get around 55gb+ after installing updates

  • I was using iphone 7 , last week i bought a poco f1 , now this poco is my primary phone . dis poco is legendary phone , super fast fingerprint scanner , superfast face unlock even in extreme dark and that phone in general is veryy fast , i know iphone users dont like androyed phone very much , i also didnt like dat but dis poco phone changed my mind .

  • i don't see any loss with switching from ios to android, especially if coming from older ios devices such as your iphone 5s.

  • lol yeah???? stop talking trash... better camera quality? my brother has the PLAY and mind you the quality on its camera sucks he even borrow my phone for taking pictures on his tarpaulin business since the camera on his PLAY cannot salvage enough details and not to mention GCAM... PLAYING GAMES??? PUBG at high frame rate the PLAY can do it but not for long period of time since the game starts to stutter whenever the heating will be present on PLAY and for POCO you can drain the battery smoothly without heating the phone though.... and this is a FACT

  • If you feel like trying out Android phones, the Pocophone might be a cheaper way to start. its got all the punch you need; its super fast, has a nice battery with 4K video recording and a large display. the best part of it is that its very cheap. about 300 dollars. its worth checking out.

  • I'm extensive PUBG Player. I know this phone can handle PUBG but how good is the touch screen quality? My current phone (Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1) has got a lower grade touch panel which ruins the gameplay for me. While throwing grenade or scoping in, the touch flickers and the aim moves to somewhere else. This is very frustrating. How is the touchscreen quality of this phone? Is it flagship grade like super sensitive and responsive?

  • How much space left if i were to buy 64gb variant? Considering lots of bloatwares installed in xiaomi phone

  • Bought this yesterday. Very nice phone!

  • Your privacy and security

  • I am using iphone 5s. Is it worth it to buy pocophone? In what aspect i will lose as i am from iphone user? Thank you

  • i would agree with lower contrast but not the lower saturation. i mean, it may be for some, but then what is important is realistic color rendering; the over-saturation of AMOLED panels does make the objects on the screen appear punchy, but the ultimate goal for media consumption is being closer to real colors and not clownishly over-saturated colors. coming from the razer phone, i would say indeed that the LCD on the Pocophone F1 is of lower quality, but then that was a 120Hz panel. so, i have compared its screen with others in its price-range and has LCD also, and i can say that the Pocophone F1 is still better than most in its price range.

  • Lol really ? SD 845 is just for emulators? Let me give a stress test for your Honor play, try playing Fortnite at epic settings you can't? Alright Kirin 970 doesn't support that and try playing it at high settings and watch how hot it gets. You don't get full visual effects on Asphalt 9 or playing shadowgun legends at ultra high 60 FPS settings because it will overheat and lag like crazy so please don't compare SD 845 to Kirin 970 and the few problems with screen bleeding affected only 3 percent of users so Poco is loco at this price nothing can beat it.

  • Honor Play is better screen camera queilty and body pocophone like a mobile without warrnty and its had more problem in hardware more than softwar Snapdragon 845 is just for emulators

  • Finally someone agree that the IPS LCD screen of Poco F1 is of lower grade, lower contrast, and lower saturation. Yes, no perfect phone out there.

  • haven't had the issue. only 1 week of using the phone.

  • As a mobile gaming junky I love the Pocophone so much, the performance is outstanding but and this is a huge but, the screen quality is not good enough, coming from Nokia 7 plus I enjoyed the screen on the Nokia way more in terms of quality and colours, the speaker is not bad but also not what I expected from a claimed stereo speaker even the single speaker on Nokia 7 plus sounds richer and fuller, I don't mind the build quality because I care most about the performance but I'll get used to these downsides because man SD 845 is a beast and I miss stock Android but miui is not that bad so overall I love this phone but for a multimedia junky too I expected better audio quality and a better or an equally good IPS display as my previous Nokia 7 plus but I guess you can't have a perfect phone.

  • Anybody use pocof1 do u face multi touch or ghost touch when typing and playing pubg after new updated. As I am consider to buy this phone.

  • I'll wait Poco F2

  • If it's for the same price as the poco f1 and you don't mind it having the last generation sd835 then its worth it imo.

  • Does anyone experience screen freeze / ghost touch issues when navigating? This is my first month to use and usually it is flawless. But sometimes has screen navigation issues I took it to Xiaomi store in Megamall Phils and they said it is bcoz of Pie update, bugs of the update. Any news if this will be fixed?

  • I saw the shadow of lumia at the back

  • So today I bought the master of speed and it's totally worth it.

  • yes you can just install the apk that u can get on Google.. its not stable but u can give it a try...

  • no problem bro hipe u like it...
