i using 3/32 gb redmi 3s. miui 10 global 9.3.28. very bad signal for simcard. it is just me got this problem? when calling, people cant hear my voice. need to change to "loudspeaker" . so this is not mic problem. other than this problem , anything is good. can play mobile legend just fine.

After latest MIUI update (10.2.1.0) my phone wont charge to 100%. Only goes to 76%, but after i reinsert usb then goes to fully charge. I have it for two years. Much bloatware, bad signal reception, bad sound quality. After a year, battery did crazy things. After update, battery fixed, but now people can´t hear me properly on calls. All of them are software issues. I won´t buy Xiaomi anymore. I recommend Motorola . And I'm going to try BQ x Pro

the manufacturer imlemented an advertise-app into the android os, that was annoying. In addition all background services are killed as soon as the app is not in foreground anymore. Hence lots of apps are not able to receive notifications at all. The advantage is the energy consumption, the process killing procedure saves battery and the phone has to be recharged every second day only.

I think you don't count on this, but every app that upgrade will need more RAM, since it'll have new features, planned for Android newest version. If you upgrade apps on ANY phone, your RAM usage will increase and the phone will be slower. You may not see this on phones of 8GB of RAM, but this one has only 2. Also, closing running apps will icrease its speed. This is really something you can't complain, since even bigger companies like Samsung have such problems, even without upgrading apps, and this phone, at its 140 dollars, can truelly do magic.

The camera is awesome, with lots of adjustments (HDR, saturation, sharpness, contrast, integrated QR reader in the camera app, age guesser, time stamp...) and quality is very good, except in panorama mode. Battery is endless. It lasts 2 days under heavy usage. Really love this phone, its materials are pure quality, despite the low price. Never gonna buy any other Huawei/Sony/Samsung.

it's a shame this phone does not allow you to move programs from internal storage to sd card because 16g gets used up fast considering the second space, and maps that are downloaded on mapping programs. if you are in any chat groups, then pictures and videos sent by those groups will fill up your rom fast. however, this phone has a decent camera for the price. the battery lasts long, and the second space is nice. but because i am unable to store programs on my memory card, i may have to buy a new phone as a result, and wasted my money buying this one

This phone is great for those who want an endurance phone which can long last more than a day, or for those who love playing games for a long time. (online games, perhaps) Other than that, this phone is just average. The sound recording quality of this phone is terrible, I have to flash some script thanks to the people in xda to fix this problem. I got the 2/16 version which really limits your option to installing apps since it only gives you around 10 gb free space (you can't move your apps to sd card), and really poor multitasking performance (thanks MIUI) Review based on my experience for a year using this phone

Hi All, If you are using Groupme don't buy this phone. In the current MIUI 8.5.3.0 it simply doesn't work. For non MIUI comms apps such as whatsapp, gmail etc please read the following article and comments as it will fix many of your problems: One thing it doesn't fix is that on the app icon for whatsapp I used to get a number which says how many unread messages I had. Now it doesn't appear there. Also status bar notifications largely don't work unless it is a native MIUI app. You will still get pull down status messages though. If you buy an MIUI phone which doesn't access a large addon memory microsd card then there may be an issue with MIUI less than the one mentioned above. Certainly for versions 7 and under. The larger memory cards use a format called exFAT which is not handled by versions of MIUI prior to one of the versions 8. The 8.5.3.0 version does work with the exFAT sdcard I bought for this phone. My phone came with MIUI 7 and didn't read the external card until I updated (note update takes more than one hour so be patient). This is true for all MIUI/Xiaomi phones as far as I can tell. I hope this saves heartache

It is an excellent phone, currently using Android 6.0.1 with the stable update of the MIUI 8.2.5 system customization, a very practical interface, I have not had any problems with its operation, and due to its features offers excellent performance, Has planned to upgrade to Android 7, very complete thanks to the sensors that includes, Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass and ambient light, the only thing you would need is NFC connectivity, in my case I do not find it indispensable, but includes infrared port , Can be used as a remote control, in general it is an excellent phone that I highly recommend.

Bought this last year (2016), surprisingly good for a low-cost phone. It never heats whenever I use it except for when I turn on hotspot, which is not a big deal because using a phone as a hotspot always makes the phone heat up easily (used Sony and Asus before too, same thing happened). The body of the phone is quite bad, it scratches so easily and the rim of the headphone jack got damaged too because I always listen to music using headset/headphone. I found that the camera is actually good. Took lots of pictures and I barely see noises appear (except low-light/night pictures). Because the processor is not even 2.0GHz, don't expect to play any demanding games. I can't play a Japanese game, Yokai Watch Puni Puni without experiencing any lag, but it works fine on my 1st gen MiPad (2.22GHz). I have no problem with the speaker. Sounds coming from the speaker are quite loud and satisfying.

If you want a mobile phone, works only for 1 year then yes you can go for MI phones. Its cheap and features are worth for the money spending but considering the durability it is very poor. MI phones are very sensitive and it may stop work any time. If you are looking for proof, just visit any of MI service center on a weekend at any time and see the rush there. I bought more than 4 phones for myself and for my family, because I was like “wow” after using the phone and I really felt it is worth for money. But now I regret because last day I received a software update and after that mobile started heating up and phone display stops working. Unfortunately it happened after warranty period and the sad part is service center technician said we cannot do anything other than replacing the LCD, and he was asking why you accepted software update request.. I talked many in the service center and observed many having one or other issues after software update and luckily they didn’t lose the display . Think twice before buying this phone, first impression you may feel yah this is worth for money but later you will regret.

Xiaomi redmi 3s is a good phone. I have been using it for since December 2016. The only problem is Google play is not official. Once you reset the phone you have to download it using a laptop or a 💻 💻. I have also installed icons pack from MEMI forum last velantaine day. Unfortunately I couldn't delete it. These are only minor issues. Otherwise it is a good budget phone.

Hi all. I've purchased redmi 3S and I am using bluetooth headset for answering calls. But for some reason voice is not clear in bluetooth headset. I googled and found that noise suppression is to be enabled in sound settings. But unfortunately I couldn't find such option in redmi 3S. FOR ALL Redmi 3S owners: Take a good look at your phone before buying it. Mine was a genuine phone with fake android. I had 2 viruses: file manager and weather apps. The phone was stuck on MIUI7.x, no updates available. The viruses can be detected with kaspersky antivirus (it's free, no account needed) I tried to unlock the bootloader, didn't work (stuck at 50%). I tried to update the system manually (from android and form recovery), no success. I managed to flash MIUI8 Global downloaded from official website using the flashing tool from Xiaomi by following tutorials from youtube. Now everything is ok, no viruses, recovery menu works, bootloader unlocked. Hope this information helps!

There is very little difference between note 3 and 3. But yes note 3 is better than redmi 3, better gpu and better processor. Keeping that in mind i would say the performance will be better on note 3. I have been using note 3 for about a yr. And i am happy with it. Though while using u wont notice that much diff, But on a technical aspect there will be a nano sec or a few nano sec difference... When we talk about processor speed, core usage and data handling capability of a processor. Since these are metal body phones there may be a lil heating (dont worry wont cause burns or bruises), which is normal. Overall rating a good phone in this price range.

This app is really cause problems when you put in phone in pocket when this feature is enabled it automatically opens the phone may unknowingly many apps will be open and some times dialled no too. Compared to Lenovo k5 plus redmi 3s/prime is beter because no official anouncement made by lenovo about volte. As of now the cost of k5 plus is 8500 no Volte no video call option no finger print sensor and battery only 2750 mah. Only good about k5 plus is full HD display with >400 ppi 3gb RAM and dedicated SD card slot. If u r using jio in k5 plus u should use jio4gvoice for voice as well as video calls that makes battery drain very fast and also internet should be always on prone to many virus. Pros 1) Volte supports slot 1 or slot 2 (after updating to miui 8, in miui 7 slot 1 supports volte sim slot 2 doesnt supports volte) and supports video calling without any third party software if using jio, jio4gvoice app not needed. 2) display clarity and color reproduction is good. 3) battery 4000 mah lasts for 1 day if we use Internet always 4g calling video calling battery last for 3 days if we attend only phone calls and for calling. 4) build quality design is very good. 5) phone is octa core no phone comes with this processsor in this range, performance of the phone touch response is good. Octa core processor always produce heat more than quad core processors so heating is not an issue till 42 degree Celsius if more than this phone has problem replacement is good option. 6) camera is good in day light for this range bad in low lights but am not putting this in cons because what and all can give for 7000 we can't expect phones camera quality of high range phones. Many people comparing with Samsung but for the same feature Samsung charging 16000 18000 that is j7 and j7 prime check the specification. 7) dual apps and second space make u feel like u r using 2 phones in single phone ex u can use all different apps in second space for 2 what'sapp 2 fb,2 twtr accounts in single phone. Dual apps also do the same. Cons 1) major disadvantage is hybrid slot user only gets 3 to 5 GB of memory if u install all needed apps and games. 2) in full network coverage area no problem either in (sim slot 1 or sim slot 2) that is a sim working in 4g net doesnot have any problem but other sim slot working in 2g have some network issues but only in less network coverage area it shows no service ,seems like a software bug in future updates this problem will be solved. Other than this problem I dint faced any other problems and a must buy for 7000 it's really fully loaded phone.

I did buy it on 5th december 2016, from day one (MIUI 7) I have been facing an issue . If you are on Miui7 then go to setting then sim cards and mobile networks in this select volte enabled after that volte shows on top i.e., notification bar... and when if you on Miui8 then HD shows in place of volte...

I have been using it for 2 months.There is no lag or hang even for multitasking. The only hang i found was while moving large files like 2gb. The camera is excellent for the price. The battery is very good also. The best part is it plays games like butter. I play Godfire, Mortal Kombat X, MMA Fighting and all of them ran very smoothly. I think we dnt take risk. First the phone launch on june month. And another thing is this phone is suggest my friend he is already bougt 2 week back. But he tell only for battery u buy da like that bcz it is 4000 mah . but when i see reviews in flipkart and here one thing is common that is every phone has face any one problemm . so i have a option to go and buy lenevo vibe p1m(2gb ram . rear 8 mp and 5 mp and 16 gb . 3900 mah)6999 or samsung galaxy o(1.5gb ram with 8gb internal and back 8mp and 5 mp)7590 only in flipkart . so pls sugest if u k with this idea or any other phone.my budjet is 7k - 7.5 k

It sarvice is very bad......its mother board prblem is continue from mi 2 prime to all mi phone....all time camra do not open....and when camra open then feed back can't connet to camera....and...in waranty when ta fon damage then its warranty is over.....it s a very big bad china product......people made a big fool from mi India.....and also a prblm...its sound recording quality very bad....other company very good quality.....over all it a bad product plz re correction then manufacture.

Service not provided by Mi Service center. i Bought Mi 3s @ 22-10-2016. i draw right pattern password but it show wrong pattern. when i visit Mi service center then they told that to resolve it need 8-10 day. after 10 day i again go to service center they told again for waiting 8-10 day. (they also to unlock you need to pay 300 rs but my mobile under warranty.)

Don't ever call service centre they will take months to repair your phone but still u can replace your phone within 10 days . & don't try to do engineering with your phone otherwise it will invalidate the replacement conditions and u will stuced with xiaomi service centre for many months

If you have problems regarding call with Jio sim you should first check and enable VoLTE options by tapping data connection option and make sure to insert the sim card in 1st sim slot

Hai ,there is no mobile for now which works 4g on both sims at a time, and about the memory no phone will get the memory that they said because partion table of memory and all take some space, and mobile os will take some space and apps and games that are installed takes some space ,so remaing is what you get , its common for any phone. About heating is considered my mobile is not heating that much

Plz provide what network your using.if you use jio sim it will drain the battery soon. If you think becoz of updating after miui 8 means wipe and reset your mobile and download miui 7 stable ROM version in miui.com and go back to the previous version.

Hi ram I saw your review you have mention that I cannot use both the sim and sd card at a time there is a option for that.put first sim as micro and we have to use some trick for second slot what is that means use nano sim for that heat the sim card and take the chip from take sim plastic and place it in the memory card and insert in the tray.thats all you can check this trick from YouTube for more details. Battery will drain if u not use the mobile and your data is in on si you have to off the data connection
