I am using mi since 3 years i had remi note 3 which was great. Before 1 month on 18 oct 2019 i bought redmi k 20. Every thing was best and i watched video on youtube "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vk6i1JXn-gk" that if mobile is on charge that feel some kind of induction from the portion of camera and finally same thing happens to my phone on 30 oct 2019 just after some days after buying. taht time i root my phone anyhow but same thing happens after 3/4 days and i went to service center they also dont know the solution and blame to the cover given by company with mobile and they reboot it same way i did first time and my phone again start to work again nexr day my phone have same problem. And i hurry to the mi service center then they say leave mobile and come after some time its software problem and we will install software and your mobile will run properly. then i leave service center. then after some time i went to receive my phone they open my back cover and installing software. but its no need to open hardware for software problem. and all my data was gone. and i said if again such problem comes replace my phone and they said if problem happens we will replace. and again i start to use my phone. Today same problems happens just after one month of buying phone and i went to service center and request for change phone but they said we can only repair there is no exchange. New ""Redmi k20"" flagship killer mobile makes no use of my investment. Its not just about money there is data loss 2 times and time spend to go to xiomi service center. And I dont have to explain the functioning and use of repaired mobile. Its just Guilty to Buy Such Phone.

The battery life is very good. So don't worry about you loosing 1% in 15mins. Secondly, in 9hrs you lose 7%..what you think is that bad. Also check installed apps. In latest news WhatsApp is eating away huge batt. after the last update. So many reasons. In my opinion the batt like it's great on K20 Pro. I am using it for past 3 months

Hey ppl, I brought my k20pro 8gb one 2 days ago, I have a question regarding the battery, after 100% charging , it goes to 99% within 15 mins in idle mode (screen turned off), overnight 12am to 9am I lost like 7% of battery on idle , also On my last charge I got like 5 hours SOT for battery 100% to 25% (included 2 hours of call of duty , 1 hour YouTube , 1 hour video in MX player , and 1 hour general web browsing ) Is the battery usage normal ?

iam indian k20 pro user who bought the device in the first batch of sales. android 10 based miui 10 as well as miui 11, both update came early but backed out or vanished before me updating and it never came back and my k20 pro is still with 10.3.5 stable version. i have complained this to redmi and xiaomi via feedback app and all they do is raise ticket but neer addressed even after months. whats the point of have feedback and raising ticket if its not going to solved or atleast give some response. basically device is awesome, performance is good but update part and support is very lagging and not showing interest for customers voices. i still see most of the comments put said received miui11, when i am going to get..? i didnt go any flash or any rooting as well. basically updates are not reaching me and one more friend of mine with same device had same problem. why redmi backs out updates once its released.? if its not tested why its released in first place. #redmi #xiaomi #redmik20pro #k20pro #mi

After MIUI 11 update, this Redmi K20 Pro/Mi9T Pro can activate charge turbo with any compatible USB-PD PPS support charger, that is charging with 27W. However, full 27W only can charge while phone is switched off. If turn on the phone and charge, it will maintain at around 20W-22W

Because the mi9 has the same processor and the same camera but different results in the DXOmark for example.. Do they correct that ? Did you test the gcam 7.1 or 7.0 on it? I'm using K20Pro from two weeks in Vietnam and yesterday I got the update for Android 10 and MIUI 11. It's way better than MIUI 10. I like specially the option for screen animation for incoming notifications. The notification light on the camera most if the time was invisible for me.

It really depends on whether you prefer iOS or Android, but the iPhone is more than twice the price and has worse performance, battery life, and a WAY worse screen. It also has a notch while the K20 Pro has a Popup camera and no fingerprint scanner, but the iPhone has better cameras.

I think someone that disappointed with this smartphone for it's camera performance alone, please buy other brand. Xiaomi is not known to have the best camera in the industry. Then for one that complain about 48MP, the recommendation would be stick to 12MP mode, let the pixels binding works to improve the image quality rather than specifically just blame on it's 48MP camera is bad. The review already prove these clearly. I can't say Xiaomi will come out with updates to improve the camera quality, but at this price point, I would be nothing to complain about with this kind of performance, unless you are really picky, which want everything best at this price point, but cannot afford the much more expensive flagship like Huawei P30 Pro, Samsung Note 10 Plus, or even the iPhone 11 Pro. It is good to point out the weakness, but please be realistic as everything got it's pros and cons, especially when something is sold at almost 1/3 of the norm price.

I can understand why you are not happy with this phone from Xiaomi like most other average consumers who care very little about utilizing the phone and just want it to work right out of the box. When buying a Xiaomi phone, I think the most value it offers largely comes from the support from the community behind it (xda, reddit,..). Bad stock camera? You got google camera to replace it Not used to MIUI? Tons of roms to choose from since Xiaomi allows you to unlock the bootloader. Tons of mods to choose from (81hz display, semi-dual speaker, overclock kernel,...) If you willing to accept the support from the community behind it, then I bet the user experience is nothing short of what the $1000 flagships offer.

It has serious focussing issues for close up objects because unlike dual pixel technology it uses pdaf and pdaf is never fast and accurate,and by close up shots I mean actual close up shots and not something like shooting a flower ,laser focusing is a joke as it has limited range,night mode is supposed to get better pictures in night and in low light not when there is light around the night shots and it fails there,f2.2 with .8 microns for front camera ,are you serious? And that too with fixed focus

Why?,I did not pay money to use Google camera port on a phone,it's the job of xaiomi to improve camera software and deliver the services as per the price,this is probably the main reason why it can have all the bells and whistles of hardware but will never be able to match a properly optimised lower camera specs as of imx363 on several phones,when one is advertising it as flagship killer then get close to and beat flagships in some features which it fails in terms of camera at least,hell it can't even beat Nokia 8.1 in terms of picture quality both front and back

Nice to hear that U r happy with Ur K20pro...but my concern was genuine too. I have been a long term Samsung user starting frm S2, S3, Note3, S4, S6, S7, S8, S9 and now Note 10. Tried hands on these Chinese brands but after using Samsung I felt K20pro an inferior product. Specially their inbuilt apps, unwanted Ads (unless u disable it), image processing ..all are not upto mark. Xiaomi's Ad campaign for their products which highlights camera sensors, body construction & colors are seems to be marketing gimmicks. Over that prices of their phones keep on slashing every now and then with every festive season. Don't know how they sell at such low price, that's why I doubt their quality. They are going by quantity now. I had mix experience with Xiaomi products.

As I told you its not that bad, yes its selfi cam over exposes a bit but you can always dial down the exposure. You may have seen MKBHD video and sticked to his words alone. I am really happy with its performance. Noght time's image quality is not soooo great but they have hiven night mode for that and K20 pro has one of the fastest night mode. Anyway you had got the note 10 now. If you are satisfied with it then great. I sold my Galaxy S10 yesterday and am happy with my K20 pro.......

Wrong, front cam of K20pro is pathetic...gives overexposed & bright with less clarity images even in day light. Rear cam is very good in daylight but bad in low or indoors or less lighting rooms. Over that Xiaomi's marketing inbuilt apps..i hate them to use. Yes K20pro was fast, smooth, lagfree & crisp amoled display.

I am using both Galaxy S10 and K20 pro. I don't have any issu with the camera's. Infact I am thinking of selling my S10 and keeping the K20 pro. I had taken trip to Hong Kong last week and used camera's from both mobile. In daylight and also in artificial lighting there are hardly any differences in camera performance. But in night times yes there is a difference. Lack of OIS can be felt but not so much so, it can be discarded. You might have goten a faulty one. But Note 10 is a great device. Have a great time 👍

The curved corners cut some part of the screen in games don't they? (For example when using dolphin in full screen mode) From some gameplay videos in YouTube, I love how awesome fullscreen looks like without having a notch but no SD card and only 1 speaker? C'mon man... Oh 1 thing I have encountered issue to my device is that sometimes It disconnect to WiFi for long hours used. Hope after updating to Android 10 could fix that issue, overall performance is great.

I have it, and sadly it doesn't has 5g. While being a p/p champion, it suffer the same prob like other Mi flagship: Mono speakers at bottom. No water-resistant. Need global ROMs for the GPS to work properly outside of China. Don't expect the face recognition to be better than those have the Notch. Everything else is good, even the camera is better than Apple and on pair with Samsung. (compared to 7+/8+/Xs/Note 9 and S10).

So far this is the only thing I'm unimpressed with. The fingerprint sensor is pretty poor. Usually takes a few seconds and multiple presses to register. Pretty finicky. Everything else is great though. I would have preferred a finger print sensor on the back, much quicker.

actually the diffirence of this two is the NFC and RAM variant. in K20 Pro you will 8GB RAM and 128GB Storage variant whil in the Mi 9T Pro only 6GB RAM and 128GB Storage but it has NFC for global version while the K20 Pro doesn't have NFC only in China version.

ZTE have the Axon 10 Pro (yes I know this costs slightly more then the k20 pro) I'm well aware that both don't update their software as much as Xiaomi, but in the real world, it doesn't really matter. It's only an issue if the phone gets to the point that you can't do what you want to do with it because the software or security updates are too old. How often does this happen.? Probably very rarely. I place things like design, build quality, finishing, ergonomics, usage etc as high or higher then what parts or features make up the phone, but obviously everyone has different priorities.

I've no doubt this is a great phone, but GSM Arena don't review the many alternatives from the likes of ZTE Nubia, Meizu etc. Smartisan don't even have their models listed on here, and having recently bought a nut Pro 2 s to have a play around with for less then the price of a Pocophone F1 (which I currently use as my main phone) I'm not sure I would buy another Xiaomi phone after using over a dozen or so of their models for the last 5 years or so. I'm not saying that this site is biased towards Xiaomi in any way, but it's a bit much saying this is the best phone at the price without comparing it to all the alternatives.

No it wont the bands are locked at hardware encoding level so a different room won't unlock it unless you have specific tools to access the chips software (hardware NV ram)

Yes keep the folder but delete the content as the next time when you want to download it will check for the same path. If by mistake you delete the folder, create one more folder with the same name on the file manager.

Same here buddy, bad Selfie experience. In broad daylight selfies are over exposed/bright with average details and in low or dim light conditions K20pro gives poor selfies. So sad, repenting on decision of buying this mobile instead of pixel 3a.

A big yes, especially if the light is low then it will be a lot granier and blurred, no matter what setting you choose, the problem is with that narrow aperture,2.2 it just doesn't take enough light, and yes it makes a difference ether on mobile or DSLR, some people hear have said that aperture on mobile phones is no concern but this handset is an excellent example of bad low light or even dim light selfie photos, due to it, day light shots have next to none dynamic range in the photos if you are outside shades,I am still confused if I have a defective handset even after confirming with 3 same phones at different places, it's that bad

If you were to convert China xiaomi to International/global Rom & vice versa it'll break the OTA updates and all sorts of software problems arises.

I am writing this review after one month. I can straight away say that this is one of the best smartphone available in the market for the price. If you can live with few compromises then you will never regret buying this. Pros: 1. Gorgeous display, no obstructions or hindrances in viewing experience. 2. Great Battery life. 3. Snappy performance with default POCO launcher 2. 4. Great Camera performance throughout the optics range. 5. Great gaming experience and no over heating issue. (Honestly I am not a heavy gamer but played pubg and other games for testing purpose) 6. Great Cellular reception. 7. No connectivity issue whatsoever. 8. Great GPS accuracy due to dual band gps. 9. Loud speaker output is great but could have given a stereo setup. 10. Headphone output is superb. 11. Great memory management(using 8gb varient) 12. Great built quality and looks (glacier blue). 13. Charging speed is also pretty great with default charger. 14. Fast fingerprint sensor. There are few thing which leave us desiring for more. 1. OIS for main camera. 2. Proper IP rating. 3. Hybrid expandable slot would have been great to have. 4. Stereo speakers would have been a great treat. Overall I am very happy to have bought this. No matter the shortfalls this is still an absolutely beast of a mobile. I am selling my Galaxy S10e now and will keep this device. Go for it guys you will not regret. I know there are other great device and you have to pay almost double the amount to get them, infact I am using one of them and now will sell it off. Hope this will help few of you who are looking or thinking to buy this. This is strictly my opinion and you mave have a different one. It is a common issue with all the amoled displays. Don't worry. You will only be able to notice if the background is black. I even have it on my primary device Galaxy S10. Which by the way costs twice as this device. I have had the same issue with all my previous amoled display devices also. Go for it without second thought. It's a great device for the price. It even excells in lot of areas for the price we are paying.

Well global rom would usually be the global EU Miui from Xiaomi & Global version is the global unit of the K20 Pro being the Xiaomi 9T pro ( if youre buying from Aliexpress Global rom is still the chinese rom however it has gapps installed)

For anyone wondering if this phone overheats and if it throttles at all with a constant heavy load, the answer is simply no. Look up on youtube a 4 minute video called: Redmi K20 Pro heating test feat iPhone XS - Stress Test | 4K Ultra HD He compares it to the iPhone 10 and the iPhone 10 heats up a lot and drops almost 30% in performance while the k20 pro stays cool and dips about 1-2% in performance. Network Speeds dpend more on the network you are using rather then the device itself. Device ofcourse plays a role but network plays a bigger role. As for comparison between Oneplus 7(Not Pro) and K20 Pro( I happen to have both). well when I have tested the two of them at the same location with Jio 4G+ Ihave had nearly the same speeds and signal strength. When testin the Oneplus 7 with Vodafone 4G the speeds Plummet by nearly 80% at the same location and same time. And signal strength is also barely adequate. But all this is at my location. At another location when I tested the same things Jio had good signal but could barely cross 1mbps speeds and vodafone was giving 3-4 mbps speeds. But one thing i will say is It doesnt matter is data speeds are nearly zero, If you have strong signal, Jio voice calls will be better then Vodafone any time...

It's a great phone for the price although you do have to make some sacrifices like the bad ui and mediocre speaker but otherwise it's a solid phone and i suggest using the gcam application as it gives much better shots and a superb night mode aka night sight.

One plus pro is definitely better as it costs almost twice as that of K20pro (k20 pro - 31k for 8GB, 1 + 7 Pro - 58k for 12GB). In case of 8GB model, difference is 21000, for which another k20 can be bought! One plus is placing itself as a more premium brand. The strategy may be passing the budget brand image to others under same hood such as Realme (In case you don't know - Oppo, Vivo, Realme and One plus are subsidiaries of BBK Electronics). At this price point, K20 series(especially pro) is a steal. One plus have it's pros, but at VFM perspective, it is not gonna stand a chance with Mi's budget beasts.

That isn't good. It has extra heatsink compare to 9T we should not expect heat issue. May I ask if it's just warm or hotter for pubg. Warm a bit should be fine even Honor View 10 and Honor 10 do get slightly warm playing games but I don't really play graphic intensive games like pubg. So far for me only Waze can overheat Honor, Lenovo and Moto phones. That isn't hot that is overheat until about 2 phones actually shut down. I had to disble 3d or something to stop it.

Oneplus 7 is a better device yes. But k20 pro is better in many ways..... I have tried both hands on before buying K20 pro. And I can say that K20 pro is definately value for money. If you want a better software experience with faster update go with OP 7. My brother still gets regular updates and bug fixes on his OP 6 even now also. K20 pro is also having much better software optimization than other Redmi devices. Poco launcher is really great. But Still a step behind Oneplus. PS: I am using Galaxy s10e as my primary device and K20 pro performs better in many ways. Still its not as premium a brand as Samsung or oneplus.

Compared my OP7 to the spec of K20 pro, i can say my OP7 is better than K20 pro, i bought it for usd 453, ram 8 gb and rom 256 gb, not so different with K20 pro, decent battery and excellent charging time, stereo speaker and the sound quality dolby atmos using wired headset (yes...just buy a usd 4 dongle for crying out loud) is AMAZING..... And no need to speak about the speed and the fluidness of OxygenOS. Camera is quite good, front and back, i can live with that.

Personally I think the quick charge thing is overrated. I usually charge he it overnight so I would rather it charge slowly. In China package the 27w charger option is 20 rmb extra so it is not excessive. But I would not bother. maybe a 27w charger will fully charge it in one and half hours while a 18w will do it in 2. Display is great, HDR looks brilliant (miss the S7's PPI levels though) Battery is phenomenal (8+ hrs for my usage pattern, where I used to get 4 hrs on my S7 is outstanding). Other than that, the OS is nice, feature rich and is quite snappy. Fingerprint scanner is quick and has 90+% success rate. Sound quality is above average but its loud. (Would have loved a stereo setup)

When you do a factory reset it doesn't touch the internal storage partition where your music resides. I have a oneplus 2 still, no micro SD slot. I do a new update to my custom Rom every month. I just wipe the system and data in twrp custom recovery. I don't touch the internal storage. All my downloads are still there

i have used this phone 10 days. everything is just amazing . the display is very eye catchy and vibrant, touch latency is too fast like sometimes it work even without touching :) . battery is just like beast, app opening is just like storm, the ultra wide lens is very useful. these are the pros. the cons are - heavy phone, lack of OIS, low quality telephoto lens, EIS is only for 1080p not for 4k, very low quality night mode, and the MUI. after having so many features the MUI makes the phone less premium. during gaming it produces heat even having liquid cooling. The vibration motor is not up to the mark. so i switched to oneplus 7. now satisfied. but truly missing the ultra wide lens and headphone jack.

My umidigi F1 play has figured out a clever way around this. It has a screen fill light application which kicks in and can be used almost the same as the infrared reader in dark to allow face unlock to work in the dark. It's pretty good and I will be surprised if it's not something that is introduced either as a third party app or built in the system settings on other devices that don't have the infrared reader built in.

That said, I loved the pocophone f1. I sold it last week and it was like saying goodbye to a good friend lol. I actually really miss it. Yes but that 256gb model is pretty darn expensive. I have gone for the 128gb model. I think that should be more than enough. All my photos and videos are on Google drive. I only need WhatsApp, Facebook, BBC sport, my curling hd game, AliExpress, geek, wish, banking app, Amazon, Netflix, eBay, messenger, the my Vodafone app and the talksport radio app. I posted negatively about the lack of the SD card slot, but if people are clever about it, even 64gb can be enough with a bit to spare. Not necessarily. On my xiaomi mi 8 and previous pocophone f1, it gives you the option to opt out of personalized adverts. It's also in the additional settings once the phone is up and running. The first time I set up the pocophone f1, I ignored all that and was getting adverts even in settings pages and I had only installed WhatsApp and bbc sport. Xiaomi operate an advertising program similar to Google. It's not just purely app related.

It's a great naming mistake by Xiaomi. I am sure. K20 Pro should be named as Mi 9T and Mi 9T is to be K20 Pro. Why this should be happened like that... this is a thing almost everyone should understand. Mi9 is a SD855 flagship. So after adding pop-up selfie flash and full display features this Mi9 should usually be named as Mi9T. But unfortunately they did not do that. Why? Intentionally done??

I went for k20 pro. Why? Full screen. More gb rom and ram. If you prefer to have a headphone jack, K20 pro has it. I don't really mind, since I bought the Jabra Elite 65t (I have had redmi note 4 for 150$ for two years now) but some people prefer the jack. For me the full screen was number one decision. You must know why are you buying a phone and assess your logical decisions.

That's a pretty dumb comment. Nonsense. It's not cheap for one thing but the phone has recorded an antutu score of 388000. That's higher than the OnePlus 7 Pro. It's actually one of the highest recorded scores ever. I believe only the nubia red magic 3 has scored higher. The specs are very similar. OnePlus has a bigger screen with a 90hz refresh rate and a 4000mah with 30 watt fast charging. The k20 pro has 27w fast charging with a 4000mah battery and doesn't have the 90hz refresh rate. Would you pay an extra 300 quid for that? Really? Lol. Both have super amoled screens, NFC, fast charging, latest gorilla glass, . premium build quality, huge 4000mah batteries, Snapdragon 855 chipsets (exact same CPU), in display fingerprint scanner and neither has an sd card slot. The redmi does however have two useful features in the headphone jack and FM radio that the OnePlus has omitted. Neither support wireless charging. Do you actually know that much about technology? You're comment is incredibly naive and simply inaccurate. It's not a cheap phone. Even the 64gb model is close to 400. The OnePlus is simply overpriced for probably marginal gains in esthetics. The k20 pro is a superb quality phone and it's a flagship.

Chinese networks are different , as they have developed their own equipment to sidestep patents, thus resulting in phones that only work eider partialy or not at all on networks that use regular international equipment. I remember that one of the networks in china (China unicom i belief) had some weird bands and a Mi 4 that i got my hands on years ago only worked on 2G or 4G here, my networks didn't have 2G so the phone was useless as you could not make any calls or texts since those used the 3G part of the network. There was no VoLTE back then or it was non existent here :D

Infrared sensor for face recognition is still a less secured unlocking features. Even with it you still need fingerprint scanner to make payments and all, so it's pretty much useless and only a gimmick even tho you can use it in dark and all... like wireless charging, it is still slower and ages the battery more than wired charging, so in the end people seldom use wireless charging due to time constraint and safer wired charging with auto disconnect cable feature and etc.

I am in the same boat. My Xiaomi mi 6 shattered completely, a month ago. And in all my research for my next phone, I couldn't find a phone with better specs at the price point of the Mi 9t pro. But from the looks of all the rumors, the 9t pro either won't release globally at all, or just won't be available for a long time. I am not sure how long I can go without a phone if I decide to wait. If it comes down to it, I could bite the bullet and buy the non-pro Mi9t from Dubai, or something. But that feels like a big downgrade in the processor department. The mi 6 even had a stronger processor than the non-pro.

Further info for this, Xiaomi Malaysia just revealed that the earliest they can launch the Mi 9T Pro is late August. Xiaomi India also confirms that they will only bring in the Redmi K20 during July launch, and sadly no K20 pro for India. Expected launch of k20 pro is also late August for india. The only choice for those who can't wait for 2 months, is to buy the bloatware-full China version K20 pro with only a few number of units left available.. Then again, I suggest you guys look at other phones. By the time k20 pro or the Mi 9T pro launch globally, there will be a number of other flagship killer that surpass it's specs. Just like what happened to poco f1. Guys I have a bad news for you. Apparently, someone in Xiaomi revealed that Redmi K20 pro or the Mi 9T pro won't be launch globally, not in Jun nor July. Why? Because they ran out of stock. Qualcomm cannot meet with the heavy demand of phone manufacturers that wants their SD855 chips, and this affect Xiaomi that relies on high number of sales to cover for profit. This all happened because Xiaomi sold over 200 000 units of K20 pro on the 1st day of their launch and now, they only have few left.. manufacturing more to meet the global demand would require 2 months at least and thats why the probability of this k20 pro to launch globally in July is slim.. if there is any, there would only be the lowest version, 6gb ram and 64/128gb rom. I know it sucks. So for those who cannot wait, just buy something else. K20 pro is not worth the wait.

Talking about flash for selfie. Actually it is quite simple. I do not know about other phone, oppo k1 has flash option with the front camera. When turned on, the screen light up, just like in torch mode and it works quite decent. Clever! Any phone can activate that easily.

Yeah there's a very tiny and dim light on the right side of the top speaker. It blinks when notification comes in and gone as soon as I unlock phone. It's there but a bit hard to notice sometimes. There's also an option to switch it on or off in settings.

idk why people complaining about SD card, but nowadays cloud storage is getting more common than 3 years ago when Xiaomi released Redmi Note 3 and Mi 5--even Mi 5 doesn't have SD card. For real, 64GB is just more than enough for a smartphone even for gaming phone. Theoritically, 64GB could mount about 20 - 30 games with average 1,5GB game in it, while average game capacity is less than 1 GB--for some relatively simple game. As I mentioned before, cloud computing--including cloud storage system is more common from previous year. You can backup your files from that by using Google Drive and Google Photos ( Google Photos got unlimited storage for Pixel users ). It's easy to use too. Just connect to wifi, select your important data--music and photo is common thing to backup, and you safe. For contacts, messanging app, call history, you can use the phone local backup. If there is no backup facility to backup contact, call, and messange in your phone, that's a bad phone. IR blaster is quite useful if you have any electronics as a backup. Personally, it's a quite big dealbreaker for me, but in terms of frequency in usage is worth to ditch IR Blaster. Responsiness is a problem and compatibility that makes me got lazy to use it. Frustating too.

The issue my man is that internal memory are prone to failure, imagine you can't access anymore your 256gb for whatever reason that internal memory fails, it happened to me before and I only got safe because I had my MicroSD slot and pulled the SD card and inserted into a new phone. The old just gone to garbage cause the memory corrupted and smartphone doesn't even start, only bootlooped.

I personally believe that, if this phone were to compete with other phones at this $300-$400 category, then I think they should add these three things: 1) IR blaster 2) SD card slot (most phones at this price have one) 3)Stereo speakers (cause I heard that the K20 series doesn't have one) These are things that I just feel that should have been added to the phone to really separate it from the competition and make it special. But, even if we go to the forums and beg them to add these afore mentioned things (especially 2), which made a lot of people angry) I wouldn't mind using this phone without them. I really love the K20 Pro and I can't wait for the global release. I just thought that the phone would be better with them. Otherwise, I okay with it.

Same bro. Even though you just wanna save photos or videos on an sd card, you can just transfer it using an otg for sd card. It is indirectly of course where it takes a bit of time of transferring, but this is what you get for the price. Having an sd card feature is good and all with the extra storage, but it slows your phone's battery and processor power trying to load it, read and write, it takes some toll. So, thats where google drive comes in.

lest put it this way... your in a boat island hopping taking pictures lots of pictures and your planning to transfer file when you get back to hotel or what ever...and then suddenly accident happen u drop the phone on the water or whatever accident that can break the phone to the point that you can't use it anymore... you're phone die before getting back to hotel all pictures and memory gone forever dude...thats why sd cards are important...

If you'll be asking me, I probably use the K20 or K20 Pro. It's feature ahead with Redmi Note 7 Pro. One Plus is the same Xiaomi Mi9's quality.

Wow.. many people are crazy over the no micro sd card feature and some also hated the k20 pro did not have IR blaster.. okay listen, why do you even need an SD card when this phone supports otg, where you can just buy an otg pendrive to transfer any important things such as you blued video collection? Micro sd card will never be as fast or faster than ufs 2.1 storage, so if xiaomi keeps the sd card feature on k20 pro, it would slow it down especially when trying to load your 128gb worth of your blued video collections. The the IR blaster. Man, haven't you heard? There are 3.5mm jack compatible external IR blaster that can be bought under 5 bucks, and it only hurts to have about 2mm bump on your 3.5mm jack. You can buy this if you think using your smartphone as a remote controller is a must. Please, be creative and think further, dont stuck in 2018 anymore...
