This is my 4th year, i am using it and i love it a lot. I am almost dependent on it as i have saved more than 950 contacts in it. My display is almost 1 4th is gone but i am still using it, battery is in worst condition, it charges in 5 hours plus. I never able to us it via usb. The application is never run and i do not know why they design it like camera got fade within 1st six months as the camera glass always touch the base.

hi i have been using this phone from 15 months. it isn't good at battery backup, i had changed battery. but, there is no big difference in standby time. now the problem raised, to start my phone, on holding the power on button it shows 'ke770' start up and it starts the screen to go on and off, and it continues until the battery is over. what might be the problem? how can i again use this phone to its extinct? even, I lost my contacts in phone and couldn't retrieve them.. thanks.. This phone is one durable phone, I've drop it like every day and there's no major damage, just small dents (Which is okay with me). The reflective screen is nice and the slim profile is also. Buttons are easy to use but the bottom keys might start warping and stick out. Power, volume, and MP3/Camera button are all on the right side for easy access. The metal finish on the back is really nice. It fits easily in your pocket, but you might mistake it for an iPod. The screen is pretty tough even without the screen protector, it took me a good minute to get a decent scratch on it. Texting is easy once you have mastered T9, but the drawback on it is that you can't send messages containing pictures or music, and you can't receive them either, even though there's an option that says receive, T9 may also messes up when you try to type smilies, and when you try to type long words or words not in its dictionary, but you can add new words to the dictionary. Your inbox may messup sometimes and not display what is actually in the text in the preview, this also applies for drafts and outbox. The display on the phone is relatively small compared the the screen. Call quality is pretty good also when its one speaker, you can conference (3-way) too. Picture quality might not seem so great on the phone screen but once you upload it to your computer, its pretty decent (2MP), the album might take some time to load if you got a lot in there, the flash also serves as a great flashlight in dark areas. Video quality is alright, its not good, but its not terrible, sometimes the phone shuts off completely when you try to enter video mode, which is annoying, and once for me, all of my videos got corrupted (Video would only show one frame and play the audio of the video sped up) somehow but was fixed when I plugged it into my computer. The contacts list or phonebook can hold at least 90 people (Or that's just my SIM card), you can have a picture ID included but putting one on is a very complicated process. Your contacts may also messup when ever you receive a call or text (It will show the person's number, not their name, but I found that this can be solved by putting a 1 before typing in their number when you add a contact. It can hold a micro SD card, but I'm not sure what's the highest capacity it will recognize. Web browsing and related features won't work for me, probably because I don't have a plan for that. It seems to be that you can connect to different networks (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.) with the same SIM card, but I'm not sure if that works, I haven't tried it before. There are about ten languages that you can view the system software in; English, Chinese, French, Spanish (I think), and many more. Bluetooth works fine, but you can't send pictures to the phone (By computer), although you can send pictures to the computer. A simple but effective lock system appears after ten seconds (Default option), it requires you to press the left button then the right, the on-screen instructions make it seems more difficult that it is. Included ringtones are alright, but you would probably be better off with your own ringtones. Though you can change the ringtone, you can't change the message tone (The tone that plays whenever you receive a text), there are only four default ones. Included games are fun for a few minutes but get boring as you continue playing. Hope I helped with this review ^_^

I agree with Prash' PROS and CONS especially the camera and the sound on your headset. you'll get a decent picture if set to superfine and highest resolution. I got a good battery life. And the phone looked pretty cool. some cons i have experienced: When sending SMS, the phone sometimes doesn't display if the message is sent, and if sent, it doesn't register in the sent items. If failed, it doesn't register on your outbox. The phone sometimes stops receiving SMS. You have to restart your phone when you noticed it. If your keypad pops out, its very frustrating. Even a superglue doesn't work. 6/10

After having this phone for about a year: Pros: size, mirror screen, mp3, camera options Cons: always froze/turned off when I tried recording videos, texts in the inbox start appearing out of order and even multiple times when the sender only sent once, the up/volume up side button stopped working, slow to save new contacts I will probably not be buying any more LG phones after this one and after hearing friends' reviews of the LG Shine.

No offence, but ive had this phone for two years now And Im so relieved im getting an upgrade.... ITS A PIECE OF JUNK!!!!!! I must admit, at 1st i loved the phone, but that was just based on flashy looks. The hardware and interface is horrible! The internet is remarkably slow and the resolution sucks! Google fails to load 80% of the time and almost all apps ( even ones from sites made for the phone) crash or dont work in the 1st place.... Take it from me.... DONT BUY IT! YOU WILL regret it... i have this phone since a year and i don't have any problem with it, except for the signal. I went to Europe (and i live in america) with this phone without any problem. It's all good. I mean for my everyday use, it works really good, more than the old dinosaur nokia that takes crappy pictures. MP3 is good, sound is good, color is good. The only bad thing is the signals finders and the short battery lasting. I recommend this phone for people who only need it for everyday normal use. For those who need GPS,long lasting MP3 player, all options included, digital color - picture, games, super power keys for texting and so on and so on....well it's not for you cause you ll say that it s crap. (and it's not, it's just have all the basic options). You pay for the price heh.

The phone I have does not take my meomory card. Is there a big different between the transflash and a regular memory card for phone. Both are scan disc. In my stuff the extra memory under games is not there but when I first got it I tried to bring it up thinking that was where the memory card would show up and kept getting securtiy input. So I wrote 123 and now the extra memory is not there anymore. What did I do and how do I undo it? Thanks.

I just bought my KE770 like 2 weeks ago and it keeps turning on and off. Idk what happened. Ir won't even stay on for like a minute. And when it shows the display it keeps trying to go to factory settings it seems like. I have the warranty information but it's not in english. Can anyone help and let me know what to do or who to contact? LG offices in America won't help me. Or if there is anything I can do to the phone to make it stop this. Thanks Britta

OMG! Looks can be deceiving! I agree you can't signal at all... I have to use the earpiece all the time. Especially when there is all ways bad signal, I just put the earpiece in. I wish I would have seen this website earlier.!

Resetting your KE-770 Shine to Factory Default Setting 1.Turn on phone. 2.On home Screen 3.Type 2945#*# 4.ENG. Mode menu should appear. 5.Go Down to Factory Reset. Select it. May take a few minutes to reset! 6.This will reset the phone back to original setting. ( Warning! This will delete contacts stored in system memory, multimedia files and installed program not included in the factory default programs. Memory card will not be affected.) 7.The phone will automatically restart (the network logo at start up will not change). 8.The phone is now unlocked if locked and you can customize the setting as you like. 9.Default security and LMT code restored to 0000 Hope this may help to KE-770 user

u guys can't use 3 sim with this phone coz the network locked their sim to use with another phone. if u want to use, u have to call customer care to unlock ur sim to use with the phone.

LG KE770 is really nice and stylish phone, it has no problems while using various functions, but i don't like the quality of video capture, also it has low sound, but if you listen to the music in earphones, it has good quality. i really like this handset, it's nice. if you aren't interested in video capture like me, i can recomend it.

Well.., I�ve got this phone since july 2008, no problem at all, still working 100%, no screen problems, sounds or camera. The keyboard is ok even I�ve been playing soccer with it every day!!!. The only problem was the reception, not full everyday but I don�t have missing calls or problems for outbounds. It�s nice and works for me. It�s ok.

i would not recommend this phone! it was a complete waste of money. i bought the phone in may & it starting having problems within 2 months. i tried taking it back but they said the initial problems were just general wear & tear..like the buttons not working & the silver scratching off the body & the direction buttons. now i very rarely get reception. it can take up to 5 minutes to pick up reception & then if i move my phone i have to wait again. it doesn't help that the tiny little aerial hole is at the bottom of the phone where your hand sits when it's using the phone!! also i have to charge my phone everyday. it turns off whenever it feels like it. the mp3 player is useless, firstly because mine doesn't actually work & secondly because when it did it drained all the power. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!

I got a Lg Ke770 for my birthday in October and it's not working already. It started with the phone heating up at the back when charging, so I changed the battery. But the problem persists. I took it to a tech who said it was the mainboard that was damaged. Could that problem be fixed and what could have caused it?

I bought lg ke770 six month ago. now have sell it altough the guarantee is not expired yet. truly i really disappointed with this phone because: - the camera easy to broke and produce error lines. - camera shutter is very slow (5 seconds!), you may miss shot object - video recording very sluggish and blurry. only 5 frame rate per second! - Keypad 7,8,9 is is easy to broke and loose from body - battery life is very short. only last 1-2 days only - screen is small and low angle view - menu is not colorful, only red and blue. - output sound is low althougt the volume is max - Headset is poor bass and Treble. Only midrange can hear clearly - always ascending ringtone, you maybe not realize that the phone is ringging - only 4 sms alert only!, you can't customize it - picture id is very small, only appear if picture stored in phone memory The only good thing is slim design and metal body. Don't judge the phone by it's body! Now i have replace it with SE W660i and i'm very satisfied with SE. I'll never buy LG phone again. KE770 is waste of money!

this phone is pretty and had the features i needed, but for some reason it never got reception. I was constantly frusterated with not being able to make phone calls or send text messages. The antennae is located on the bottom of the phone so every time i would type a text message it would loose service because my hand was blocking the signal. this is a great mid-range phone. sturdy materials, cool colour options, well-functioning camera that out-performs its 2 Megapixel description, ridiculous ringtones, and SUPER slimness. i like the location of the "end" key too -very intuitive. it also comes with a black leather case that is ideal. it protects the phone and screen all the time. i loved it when i had it. unfortunately it got water damage, but that is my fault. i never experienced anything bad about this phone except for occasional reception problems. because of the leather case and dark metal finish, people thought i owned a really expensive luxury phone instead of a mid range one! i all you people stop whining about stupid things that don't greatly affect a cell phone's performance.

I got it about a week ago and its good, the design is great pretty neath the only problem is it gets hot by the ears when talking on it over 20 mins.That can be annoying.

yes u r right ana ! my sis uses this. this the worst phone costed Rs9000 in india. be care ful while putting in jeans because the key pad may remove.it happened for me. camera quality is awkward.thanks to flash(better than E6 naa) takes so much time to switch on my sis bought this dirty wen i was sleeping. other wise i used to refuse this me(n)tal phone. soud clarity is dirtiest i heard. y do lg makes this kind of pieces??? rokr E6 is faaaaaaaaaaarrrr better than this. the only advantage is that its thin.

some people are complaining about how their contacts name doesnt show when they call/text, all you have to do is save the number with a "1" infront of the area code for example my area code is "512" so you will save it as "1512xxxxxxx"..oh and i have a gold and silver of this phone, yes i got 2!!!..its a nice,very good looking and simple phone to use..cant expect more from a candy bar phone, its not a pda or mda so stop complaining

Ok, where to start... Well first off, I think this is easily the best phone that i have ever owned! For one, it is very good looking, and the metal effect makes it truly shine. To me, it has everything that a phone could have, i mean i don't use the web, or mp3s so I don't know about the problems with those things, but everything else is perfect. People complain about reception and loudness, but it works just fine for me, but maybe it's because im in a big city. I think its a great phone, and since you can find great prices for it online, i don't think there is a reason not to buy it!

I do no reccomend getting this phone. as it says numerous times, the reception is the worst I have ever seen or used on any phone. you cant get ringtunes, or connect to the internet. This phone can only use 4 built-in boring tones for assignment to incoming text messages. And these built-in tones are not loud enough for you to notice. You can't use MP3 files as incoming message tones. The screen also dims out every 5 seconds of no activity. Which means, if you are reading a long text message, or even a PDF file e-book, you'll need to annoyingly press any keys to re-light the screen. There is no way to change this screen-dimming timer.

This phone is HORRIBLE phone. Been using it for several months now and is by far one the worst phones I've ever had. I get absolutely no reception in places that I would normally get reception in with my other phones. My contacts names wont show when they call or text me even though I would save them and even have them on my speed dial. The sound is horrible, speaker phone does not work that well either. Can anyone help me regarding this question, I was bluetoothed a couple of AAC music files, I did receive them but cannot play them they have been received in my OTHERS file but when you press the option button there is only DELETE, SEND VIA, FILE or new folder ,so I am not to sure how to make these songs play, I do see under features that it does say MP3/AAC files can be played but again not to sure what to do, if anyone can help would be great.

camera of this mobile is excellent. you will have fantastic snaps. but the loudspeakers are not good. you cannot play mp3 player while doing some other task on the phone. phone gets really hot while making a call. gets scratches very easily.i am not satisfied with this phone. want to replace with nokia 3110 classic.

I recently upgraded from a Nokia 5000 to the LG KE770, and although I was reluctant to choose the LG above a Nokia 3120, I am happy I did. Not a big Nokia fan and always have stood by the likes of Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericsson rather, I am very immpressed with the LG. Small size, very good looks, solid build, good 2MP camera, also got the LG bluetooth headset with my handset which was an added bonus. Also have the "black mirror" version which looks better than the silver i think. Battery life average but then again not too important for me, same as my old Nokia 5000 if not better. Well done to LG.

To transfer songs to your KE770 Shine phone connect phone in Mass Data Storage Mode (Select from settings\connectivity\USB connection mode) then you see two new removable storage devices in your computer select first in it goto sounds then mp3 and place your song files (only mp3) when you place files in there you can able to play via mp3player(for minimize playing)

Bought this phone yesterday, and its awesome! The comments below have talked about the buttons being hard to press in, but just like any other phone it takes a little while to get used to then it's fine. Camera is good and takes good quality photo's. Menu's are clear and easy to follow. Video clips are good quality and audio is not bad. Got a 2GB micro SD card for it today and managed to load on 2 seasons of Family Guy as well as all my photo's and mp3's. Overall, cool phone, very happy with it! :) 9/10

go into profiles, then you can change the ringtone and message tone. to get songs onto the phone you have to bluetooth it, some computers have bluetooth so you can download it onto your computer then bluetooth it to the phone. hope this helps.

Some people hav been complaining that it turns on and off for no reason....maybe you just hav a phone from a dodgy batch coz mine is completely fine. I bought this phone today, and it isn't bad, but unless you just want a beautiful phone, its not really worth it. Hard to text with, no security keyboard, and the headset has to be connected by this other ridiculous looking thing. My phone keeps turning on and off when I'm Bluetoothing, and the battery isn't that great. I was wondering though, is it possible to change the (I'm not quite sure what you call them) quick buttons? Like if I press the right button immediately under the screen, it takes me BigPond. (This is in Australia) If I use the scroll buttons, they take me to my internet, a new message, phonebook and email inbox. Can I change it to say, my camera and my message inbox instead? There's nothing in the user manual about it. Also, my menu is in a grid view, but I want to rearrange the order that the icons are in. I don't think its possible, but I'm hoping someone will know and be able to tell me. Please, I'd really appreciate your help. Thank you.

I actually like the phone. The only setbacks are the constant dropped calls. I can't send MMS messages with pictures. I even called my carrier and they couldn't do anything about it. I did however, figure out, for all of you that want to hear music, in order to listen to the music stored on the phone it has to be either in AAC or MP3 format. How did I solve it? I went to my music software, you can use anyone that you like, but I have Zune. What i did was changed the format of my music, well at least the way that it was stored to my computer. I changed the format in the settings menu of zune and i located the music files I wanted which were now in MP3 format and I copy them to my memory card. I haven't had any problems since then. I can actuall use my mp3 songs as my ring tones. the only problem i have is the dropped calls. If anyone can solve that or help me set up my mms I would appreiciate it until then i'll keep trying to find it on the net.

I dissappointed bought this phone because: - only 4 sms tone! it can't use mp3 or wav - Keypad is hard and noisy (click) - Theme not supported - Camera shutter very slow in 2MB pixel - Ascending ringtone only, can't be normal - Picture ID is limited - Contact Name only accept 12 Character only! - Template only accept 70 character. - Small Screen etc The only good point: - Slim Design - Music & Sound very clear if using Headset - Fast SMS writing etc You'd better buy this phone! Better choose Nokia or SE in the same price

pros: metal steel case, very thin, takes decent pictures, plays MP3s fine cons: battery lasts about 3 hours or less when in use, signal is random. sometimes no service. sometimes 5 bars, my 2GB micro sd memory doesn't work half of the time. i have to keep reseting the phone.

Australia's largest telecommunication company Telstra launched the KE770Shine as a prepaid handset for only a mere AUD$199. It is a very easy to use phone and is comparable to Nokias or Samsungs. In Australian version we have no extra 'themes' or 'skins' only the generic black background contrasted with blue once you are in the menu section. Honestly I am not fussed by it as it is a rather pleasant cobination colour/aesthetics. It is a rather compact phone but not as anorexic as some of Samsung's model. Keypad are generously spaced and the KE770 dropped the scroller on this model. However it does not lived out to the Shine monicker, the screen is not as reflective as the slider sister namely KE970. The phone resolution is also slightly dissapointing, while it is bright and clear it still produce a slighly pixellised image of your wallpaper. MP3 volume are much louder and audible and ringtunes are alot louder. The 2MP camera takes rather good pictures. However while ringtunes are not bad-they do not have much choices, however with Bluetooth you can transfer them to your phone via your computer. The same can be said of your wallpaers. One thing that annoys me and which I think is outright bad design is the end conversation button (switch off button) is on the side of thephone (spine) so you need to get used to it- believe me, this is outright silly. If you play MP3 be prepared to recharge your phone the same night as you go to bed. While I am not a huge memorry hogger, I used a 128MB external memory drive just for that extra 1-2 songs that i downloaded from my computer. Overall if you have not used the slider KE Shine version you will be impressed, however having owned the slider and playing with the KE770 is slightly of a let down. Nevertheless for a Prepaid phone it is of acceptable and above average quality phone. A 8/10 from me. (Points being deducted for the inconvenientlly located End switch button and the slightly pixellised resolution)

Agree with above poster. Have been using this phone for half a year now. NAW! 1) Speaker super soft 2) Speaker phone practically useless. The other party hears you at a distance though you're already practically shouting 3) Buttons tend to drop (but can be replaced by LG for no charge) 4) Battery drains fast 5) MP3 player cannot have multiple playlists (or I don't know how, after using it for 6 months) so all your songs are mixed together 6) Cannot receive texts or calls when connected to computer via USB / Bluetooth 7) Rebuking someone else, you CAN connect with your PC using the bluetooth, quite fast too 8) Camera sucks big time 9) Games suck (very hard to find compatible games) 10) Image resizing as wallpaper VERY troublesome and ugly, I have to use photoshop to make my wallpaper perfect 11) Images load slow when viewing folder (common prob with many phones) 12) SMS memory quite limited 13) Very uncustomizable. 4 msg tones only, I use my own ringtone cutter, time and date stuck there as well as navis 14) VERY SOFT RINGTONE as it ascends -.- By the time i hear it the person hangs up. So I keep it close + on vibration GOOD! 10) Has document reader, quite useful 11) Good phone despite all these faults, functions PERFECTLY WELL as a normal practical phone 12) Usable functions 13) Texting DOESN'T LAG!!! :D 14) Calls without speakerphone can be solved by headset 15) Mirror screen is cool :) 16) Can connect to PC via bluetooth 17) Message ringtone very loud -.- If you're on a tight budget, this phone is all you need. I use it daily, but now I'm looking at LG Viewty. Nice outlook though for this phone, and the MP3 is fine using headset and if you don't mind mixing the songs a little (you can edit the names to make them next to each other). My findings are as follows: 1- USB: when connected with USB as Data service or Mass storage u cannot receive calls, even if you are not sending or receiving any data, just attached mode. 2- Battery: very quickly drain 3- Camera: Picture quality is very poor, cannot zoom on 1600*1200, while watching a movie u will feel that it is very slow. 4- Blue tooth: U cannot connect your PC with blue tooth and only option is USB cable 5-Contacts: Sending one SMS to multiple precipitants is trouble some. You cannot send SMS to group. 6-Sound: Sound & Body is cool. 7-Browsing: During browsing the images appear small. Post comments later after exploring.

Hey ppl !! I have got this phone a week before. No doubt its a wonderful cell phone in its price range. It has a comfortabble metal body with surprisingly light weight. The screen is medium siezed with a resoultion of 176x220. For a medium sized screen, this resoultion works well. All basic and some advance features are there. You cant set privacy password on floders (messages,videos, memory card etc). This privacy is only available in SAMSUNG cell phones. (SAMSUNG rocks in this feature) The camera result does not let you down, if you are competing with your friends cell phones. Decent pictures with natural colors. The video is ok...only provides 176x144 resolution...even its better than Nokia cell phones' 176x144 resolutioned videos. I mean better than Nokia 6300, 5310, 7500, 7900 videos. The keys are a bit hard to press, but in 2-3 days you ll get comfortable. I cant find the 'ENTER' key for shifting to below line. If anyone knows, let me know. While messaging, own T9 option is avilable and I added 20 own new words in its dictionery. So it is a helpful option.

Music player can't be put in the background for multitasking-it's either on or off. Great pics in bright lighting, music quality is awesome. Bluetooth means you can send pics and music between computer and phone w/o cords. Can't transfer WMA format. No radio. Cold good looks, non cutesy.

I have had one of these and it is excellent. Battery lasts for ages in standby mode. Lasts for over 3 hours (my longest ever call on it... to my telecom help desk). The only negative is that the battery gets hot on long calls. Almost but not quite uncomfortable. Plays MP3s for about 4 hours continuosly also. Much better that my previous phone. :)

I bought a KE770 phone from M/s Rajchandra Agencies, Dahisar who participated in ICE Exhibition at BKC(Invoice No.59156 dated 04.01.2008. I have an Airtel connection. The network go away very frequently. The battery does not last for even one day. The mobile gives auto ringing every 5 minutes.The mobile also go off very frequently. Do others face same problem. i bought this unit moreless 4 months ago and here's some of my opinion about this phone : 1. my first impression is this LG has a nice shape and looks very stylish 2. Never had problems with battery (as long as it used for normal conditions) because the usage of multimedia causing high battery consumption...my battery can last for 2-3 days (using for phone,sms and taking pictures (though is not to often), very rare for using MP3 and video) i think i shouldn't used this phone for listening music or videos because i already have iPod...and IMHO cell phones are better used to make a communication not an entertaining (though sometimes we need it) 3. true that it takes some time to open large size pictures...but that's why man created digital camera instead of using cell phone camera right? (so it's not a big problem to me) 4. Dear Oca, I used to hv a N70 before. It gave alot of problem. when i say alot, it's alot. It's very slow response to commands and made me to restart everytime before i need to make calls or even simple smses. i did cursed alot before. after that, i always N series phone as a Nogood series as it is in fact like that. i switched to this phone afterward and it does good job for me :) with this phone, i used to experience some difficulty accessing the mp3. i just need to give it a good shut off for a while, take out the battery, and it turn it back on again. problem solved! as for the 'taking long time to decode big picture' problem, please remember that it is a small phone. not a fancy multimedia phone. in my opinion, this phone just made for simple person that requires to make phone calls, smses and mp3s and want it to be slim also :) hope it helps.

i've bought this phone and have been using it for 6 months. it's a very slim phone. espc for ladies! i found it very practical for me. espc when i need to leave my handbag somewhere but need my phone, i'll just easily slip it in my tight jeans pocket! no fuss! just like dat! it's a very practical phone for those that only need to make phone calls, smses and even i can send smses while listening to the mp3 thru the headphones at the same times! it just great for me! The looks and the size (of course) never fails to make ppl to admire it whenever they see it. And, mine came with the tight fitting leather case also. It makes the phone even looks classier! BUT, the battery is only lasted for one day! Have to charge it every night! Yeah, the keypad is relatively hard to press, but, you'll get used to after a while :) and thanking that it is not a very overly sensitive creating problem and cursing maker touch keypads! overall, it's a simple and nice phone. Worth every penny you spend. And last, YES, it does born to shine!

My KE770 has many problems. When I download MP3s some can be played and some cannot. I have to switch it on and off before I can access the memory card and able to delete the rejected MP3 song. I don't have any problem with is on my Nokia Nseries. Is it a technical shortcoming or my unit is defective? It takes a long time to decode jpegs with big pixels but in my Nokia Nseries, this is just a breeze. No problem. I like the design but I think I'm gonna switch to Sony Ericsson or Nokia again. Hello all, I am about to purchase this phone for an older person. Before I buy this, I want to make sure that the keypad is NOT touch sensitive.. I NEED to makesure it's the general, typical keypad for this person. Good phone, the mp3 player can be minimised by pressing the camera/mp3 button on the side and will carry on running. Only problem i cant cure is with the phone book. I'm bought it new in singapore (probably malasian in origin)and have brought it back to the uk and i'm using it with a uk sim card (o2). when i get phone calls the number shown starts with a 0 which is correct for uk land lines and mobiles but when i get a text it starts with +44 which is the uk international code. If i save my contacts with +44 i only know who it is when i get texts and if i save mubers with a 0 i only know whos phoning me! The only way aroung it was to save all my contacts with 2 numbers the mobile number with 0 and office number (really mobile number again) with +44 to start. anyone know how to cure this? all my old phones could handle both formats of the number and didn't need it duplicated...

I dont know exactly but KE770 uses also a general text format. If you save your nokia contacts in text format, you can import it. Save 1 or two contact in KE770. Save these two contacts to HDD using the text format of KE770 in ordet to learn the properties of the format.

Yesterday i brought KE770, At first ITS LOOK is nice...But while hearing music without headset its output is very poor..the speaker is only vibrating..no quality output is producing..this also happends, while making MP3 as ring tones...But output through headset is good..flash light produces low level light...so night mode quality is low...as compared to others.. Normally camera out is good...

hi guys. i purchase LG shine KE770 yesterday only. It's a light weight, awsome beauty. I topped up my battery last night, have recived and made some 15 calls till now. so far all the battery 'sticks' are in tact. It has got all the cool features - except radio. Camera is awsome. LCD display is quite vivid. Keypad feels hi-tech. However, there are two drawbacks - 1) sound system is not great. if you take the vol to maximum, it's make jarring noise. (however, on earphone, it's soothing) 2.) It's very delicate. yeah, u have to be careful not to drop it too many times.. it aint no Nokia!

If same person calls several times, the phone shows time and date of the last missed call of that person. It does not show the date and time of the previous missed calls. However it shows how many times that person called. Is there any solution about that sux rule.

I get interest to store nice messages especially text message but there is a problem LG sets not store more than 60 message is which is a deficiency. There should be a feature of sharing memory of LG sets, definitly LG sets have excellent sound, very good results of its camera but there is a problem of storing message which not used shared memory or micro SD memory it is a deficiency. Problem: cant see the caller ID Setting the default memory as phone (from the menu 3.7.1) didnt solve the problem. Only if the person is recorded on the SIM card, it shows the caller ID. So, Why is there a phone memory? My old phone can use both of them.

I aquired this phone from a friend who went overseas. At first, I was throughly satisfied with it; it is quite small and looks amazing. However, after a few days of everyday use, I began to notice numerous flaws. Firstly, the call reception is mediocre. I noticed that many people I called complained that they couldn't hear me though my phone showed full bars of reception. Secondly, the speaker sound was very bad. Any song that I played past the midway volume point blared annoyingly and I stopped using the music on it because of the dismal quality. Finally, the buttons on the phone are placed quite awkwardly. For example, the end call button is very hard to push when using the supplied headset. If one is talking to someone on the headset or using some other function on the phone, it's hard to push the end button to stop the phone. I would give this phone an average of 6/10...if it didn't look as good as it does that would probably drop to a 4.

The phone is great, the design is this summer/fall's best candy bar... 1) the buttons are a bit stiff, but it's something you learn to get used to 2) the autofocus is a little slow, so when the image is actually taken, you really can't move, (it's a camera phone, and it has autofocus, don't expect it to be on par with today's digicameras) problem's i can't seem to figure out info: i am in the US, and i use T-mobile i am having trouble sending picture messages, where it says "There are no mms settings" - i'm not sure what to do can anyone shed some light on a possible solution?

hey everyone, got my LG prada today, i found that if you save all your contacts to your phone memory, delete the sim contacts and then restart the phone, it starts working with the names! if you dont restart it, it gives you the name problem where sometimes they don't come up! i hope it works, working so far for me..:) x

Anyone who is having trouble in message and calls that phone doesnot display the name of caller and sender please do following... Save your contacts in phone memory, select phone contacts as default contacts and delete all your sim contacts.It will not trouble you at all. This problem is due to same number added twice once in phone and then in sim so different names and same number cause this problem. Different names in sense phone can save upto 30 characters while in sim we can save on 14 or 15 characters.

Hello dear readers i just got this phone on thursday really a great phone but like always LG didnt add good features of their old phones... No auto focus in camera although 2MP yet not a great satisfing result as compared to sony ericsson k750. No zoom available for picutres over resolution 640 * 480.This is really bad althoug it was there in previous versions. No zoom in video recording and also mpeg-4 video recording not supported although it was there in kg 200 and kg 300. Again cant save equalizer for mp3 player it changes to general mode after the one song ends so we have to set it again and again. Light provided at back of cell not enough as it makes almost no difference.

Love the phone but having one problem in that the ring volume starts out very low and gradually increases in volume so by the time I hear it the caller has hung up or the call has diverted to message bank. I have set the phone back to default setting but the problem is still there. Any help would be appreciated.

In my last opinion posted to your site, I gave the first impression of the phone as nicely built phone. But after using it extensively for a week, I have captured its very important flaw. The signal quality of this phone is very weak. Speaker sound has druming effect. Voice wobles. Screen size is too small.

well I just bought it today 5 hrs ago. It looks sleek and sexy. The MP3 is loud (as loud as my SE W810). Sound of the call voice on speaker is also loud and clear. It really shines and the reflections falls on your face. Can see your face on the phone. It took couple on mins to have my fingerprints all over the phone and then it looks ugly, so better stick the protective sheet (front and back) provided in the box. If you guys (I mean-all gals) out there want a sexy phone to hang around your neck this is for you. All guys if you are tempted to buy, then buy it only if u have a GF or WIFE. This have only looks no punch. Rest of the functions are not worth talking.

Ok, I would really like to get this phone. It looks AWESOME, and has everything that i pretty much want. But... I was looking at the comments on the LG KE970 Shine.. and almost all of them said that they were having problems. "It scratchs way too easy" "IT has really bad signal" "The call sound is very low, even when all of the way up" Im worried about getting this one, thinking that it might have some of the same problems. The batterie life is really bad too, only 2.5 hourrs while talking. Well help me out hear!! How do you guys feel about this phone?!? Let me know if it is worth buying!!

It's slim but LG and Samsung both opted for 3G instead of FM Radio, and it's a BIG draw back! FM Radio is very popular and practical as I (or most people) travel by public transport, and that allows us to kill time by listening to our favaroute songs on Radio! 3G connectivity is nothing much of use for anything at the moment, and in some parts of the world, the usage charges are very high! That's why I opted for another new slim phone, that's the Nokia 6300 with radio!
