Being a OAP, this was the perfect phone for me. It was elegent and easy to use, plus it had VGA camera so I could take pictures while on my holidays abroad with my friends. It does all the things you want a good phone to do, call and text. Thats all you need, I mean all these silly puffy techy computerized phone with WEB acces and electronic mail are all money making scams and seem to break easily anyway. Overall a excellent basic phone. Perfect!

I had this phone and it was really good for the basics. It was small and easy to slip in your pocket although mine got the blue screen of death (the screen goes a blue and it wont turn off)

I used to have this phone but bought a brand new LG Viewty in silver. I was right be doing that as this phone is total garbage. The colour screen is terrible and the ringtones are dreadfull, I had loads of trouble finding one I like. The games were OK but were not good enough so I purcesd the sims 2 for fiver! Overall this phone is bad in featues but is good for old perople as it's simple and easy to operate.

Yeah, one more thing. By ringtone, I mean a ringtone that you can CHOOSE, example: go on google, type in "pizza pie lyrics" and then ontop of the lyrics it says "make this your ringtone", can you do that with the KG LG 225?

i dont know anything bout this fne the only thing i know is that our sales trainer whose name is jopskee gave me the task to do research bout this lg kg225 i based my report from all those opinions that ive read and almost 60% of it is negative hehehehe specially bout the battery hehehe but i think the fne is gud it's the only non nokia fne that is user friendly it fits for all ages..this came from the 40% wu posted positive feedbacks

Mine has completely run out of battery, and I'm finding it very difficult to recharge it. I turn it on, it has the short welcome message type thing, then it says 'battery low' and turns itself off before I even have time to plug it into the charger. And it doesn't even turn on every time I try. Help please!!

worst phone ever. seriously, dont even bother buying it. awful reception when you're in a call, and hangs up by itself. it freezes. internet doesn't work, & yes, i've contacted my service provider to get it fixed. - it didnt work. When i first bought it, i put it on the charger, and it didnt work at all, i had to take it back to where i bought it from for a new one. poor camera quality. buttons are hard to press. when you're texting, it doesn't always put down what you want to say, if i wanted to put in 'ABC' it would probably come up 'AC' when in ABC text. tiny screen. there's nothing good about this phone.

This phone is crap! I've had it 4 two years and there has been nothin but problems. I would rate it 4/10 Pros- Small Battery Lasts Strong Cons- Shit camera quality Keypads hard to use Slow with texting Not enough good ringtones Internet connection Not enough games Hard to flip up It's just crap all together really. I though it was going to be an awesome phone, but its turned out crap. If you're thinking about getting this phone then think again!

TERRIBLE! Endless problems. Phone intermittently says its switched off when receiving calls. Phone was replaced but same problem occurred again. Hard to use. Camera is poor quality. Program is illogical. Keys are hard to press. Strongly recommend not to buy.

hey guys, I own one of these phones, but for some random reason when i turn it on, all i get is a blue screen. but when i dial a number and press call, the other phone rings..which makes me think its just a screen and speaker problem or something. i'd like to replace it, but the problem is, all my contacts are saved to the phone memory. i was wondering if anyone would be able to post up the key sequence i need to press to transfer my contacts to my sim card. any help would be great! thanks d

Nan has this and its a great entry-level performer! She paid $129 and now its down to $60 AUD in Australia, but thats over 15 months so it's been doing great :) Easy to use as well

Laura: This LG has com connectivity, so you should theoretically be able to hook it up to a com port and it should somehow work. Also i have seen usb cables on eBay, but i'm not sure how it suposed to work, when phone clearly does not support USB connectivity. You can always send a thing to any other phone via mms.

Phone is well built, just dropped it by accident, one scratch and no other signs of waste-age :) good. BTW... if you want to take a photo by yourself a proper digital camera not a mobile, if you can't afford one, don't complain that phone worth A$80 can't take a family photo...

my god dont buy this! its crappy it feels light and flimsy camera is not good and after you use it for a while photo taking becomes blury buttons and screen feel too small and it is only available in one colour! The polyphonic ringtones are crap and the games suck i mean whats so good about suduko and haloween fever so thats 7 reasons not to buy a $79 phone lg could have done better im very ashamed with them :(

My parents got it. It is easy to use, sleek, made of good quality plastic, does not squeek or give the impression that it is going to fall appart. Phone is really nice. Buttons are a bit small, but the click feedback is ok, screen is bright, speaker is loud, but it should have separate speaker when the phone is closed. Phone camera is ok, nothing special. A... and in black coulour (maybe in others too) you can see a glitter shining - really nice :) Good phone.

this seemed like a good phone for the price, however after 3 days I have had problems with the phone freezing and then taking some time to reestablish connection to the network. I am wondering if anyone else has had similar problems?

I've had this phone for a couple of days now and so far so good. The design is sleek and compact and does indeed look as small as in the advertised pictures. The screen is quite small compared to the samsung ones in particular. Battery seems to be lasting admirably. The phone is as basic as one would expect but the menues are logical and the camera is surprisingly good. The only problem people might have with the phone is that the soft key buttons at the very top of the phone can sometimes be difficult to hit correctly. Would recommend this phone to people that want a basic cheap but small and good looking phone.

No offense intended but if you work with mobiles, I have no idea why you would be interested in an lg to start with, this is a basic entry level that looks good for users who dont want features....although their latest handsets have up to date features and far better firmware...LG is definately making tracks in the right direction, not only do the supply for the lower end but or extremely advanced in high end handsets as seen in korea and the likes there

looks like the Moto PEBL with no screen at the front. Overall a good low class entry phone for everyday phone users.
