  • My comment about does the phone have software problems. For me no I haven't noticed any software problems with apps or in general with Oreo 8.1 For me actually surprised how good the phone is, I believe it is an underated smartphone, until you have one in your hands to test it. You'll be very happy with owning one.

  • I've had no issues on Oreo 8.1 stock android on the Nubia red magic. No multi touch issues.

  • No I didn't pay any import customs chargers, because I bought it from a UK eBay seller. Because I am from the UK. Yes the seller whom bought it from on eBay had only 3 left in stock. I was one of the very lucky one's and I have no regrets on buying the Nubia red magic.

  • To say I'm not a camera phone enthusiastic. But I will say that the quality of the photos are very detailed. Great quality photos. I like on Nubia red magic how the screen rotates on the home screen not only in portrait but also in landscape mode. Go and buy one... If you do, buy the international version. This phone is awesome and easily as good as any other flagship phone on the market. You'll be impressed with the build quality, the feel to the phone is aluminium, high quality in the hand. I have had no issues or problems with using this phone since bought mine.

  • This is my first ZTE smartphone, Nubia red magic. (International Version) I received mine today, the black version 128gb 8gb of ram. I'm exceptionally pleased. Build quality is excellent, the strip lights on back of phone look cool the phone is fast and flaunt. I haven't experienced any heat from the phone playing intensive games like asphalt 9. Also the phone comes preinstalled with stock android Oreo 8.1. All Google apps and Google play store present. This cost me £330 quid. It's worth every penny. The phone as the Qualcomm Snapdragon sd835 and I don't see much difference between sd835 and the sd845. I honestly recommend this phone to anyone who doesn't want to pay outrageous prices for other flagship phones.

  • I have had the android test version which I purchased through Indiegogo. Anyone saying they bought this phone before that couldn't have as it's literally only been released as a test version to early backers since June 12th. The phone is extremely well made with a crystal clear display and plenty of Ram and storage to back it up. The phone has a novel cooling system using vents to get rid of warm air. Battery life is very good and the phone ships with vanilla Android Oreo. I'm currently a beta tester along with everyone else who bought the phone through Indiegogo and I have to say I love this phone. It may not have an OLED display but with image burn-in still being a regular occurrence on OLED screens I prefer LCD.

  • This phone is slow and it heats up, the battery lasts for 6 hours with minimal use, I can't even play games smoothly because it keeps crashing, it runs a custom Android firmware which is overloaded.dont buy this phone on the 3 day the rgb lighting stopped functioning..... Worst phone ever...

  • I just love how people complaining about why 835 and not 845. This phone is funded through indiegogo, mainly backup mostly buy people or consumer who love and invest in this phone. Just think as patreon or something. Since it's Nubia first "gaming" phone and they probably don't want to put too much stake and stress out the phone or customer. 835 is relatively cheaper so that Nubia can make it more competitive. Black Shark cost around 2.3k at my area while Red Magic cost around 1.6k a, a totally 700 difference. Plus, we just use it to play games only, not the whole day checking on the chipset benchmark. Use 845, good chipset but not budget at all, use 835 an average good chipset but a good budget. Anyway, it's your call in the end.

  • I had this nubia and the black shark and I tried both of them a lot and I can say that nubia is much better! Cause first of all the shark get hot very fast(you can see the reviews online) and is so weird cause it has the liquid system for get cold but really doesn't work at all!!when you download or play get hot all around and in the bottom. The camera of the shark is shit!! Cause shark is not xiaomi at all! Xiaomi payed and help this new company but is not a xiaomi phone and the camera is a low class camera. So nubia has a better screen also and a better camera(good photos also in the night) and doesn't get hot and you can play a lot and the phone is lighter than the shark and more confortable in the hand. :)

  • A lot of negative views without anyone really knowing. The phone hasn't officially released but the specs look really good. Yes it has last year's flagship octa core processor which is still better than a new SD 660 or 630 paired with 8gb of ddr4 ram and 128gb ufs2.1 internal storage with a cooling system to keep the processor from throttling and four quad stereo speakers Even if they only release Android 8.1 and never updated it would still be an awesome device. ZTE is only a 49% owner of Nubia so they shouldn't be affected by the ban on ZTE. A good thing they have diversified. So updates shouldn't be a problem. I would like to see any phone with the same specs for under $400 new? US customers have to wait until July for officially released device but have two options. Buy a$9 voucher to get two codes, one to get launch price and another for$50 off accessories. Or purchase a testing device and get a test unit in May and then when the official release they will replace the test unit with a new one optimized for US customers. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me. I got the testing version for US customers and can't wait to see what it can do. The rgb strip on the back is totally useless but also fun. I think Nubia made the right choice. If they put the SD 845 it would cost too much for people to try. The SD 835 is not like the 820/21. Those 820 chips vs. 835 are way different vs. 845 is just clocked higher with some optimizations so it is not a huge difference from 835. Same architecture as well. When SD releases a 7nm chip then I would definitely want the upgrade.

  • all us companies are banned from selling components to ZTE for along period flagships like the Axon 9 which should come with a Snapdragon 845 may be scrapped or delayed due to a redesign if ZTE decides to switch to a Samsung processor or MediaTek chipset the processor part is just half of its problems. The US Department of Commerce also banned the export of software which means.... its devices may not come with Google Play services or receive updates ZTE nubia Z18 mini its good choice for me but now everything is change & not as like as the past soon zte will force to down the price of own devices

  • Looks decent but unfortunately ZTE doesn't have a bright future ahead of them. USA has banned them from using Qualcomm chips, which means that all future ZTE phones will likely come with a Mediatek processor instead, which aren't very good... Unless if ZTE can sign a deal with Samsung or Huawei for their Exynos/Kirin chips which are very competitive.

  • It looks outstanding! Is so aggressive and stylish at the same time. And the specs are killer, especially the camera and the DAC. This is exactly what the Razer Phone should have been, an RGB-filled beast. Kinda disappointing that it doesnt have stereo speakers, but easly fixable through an "aftermarket" mod from XDA.

  • Nice device, specs and looks. Very nice design of the back. When I first saw the back of the smartphone instantly I thought of SF movies, space ships and stuff. Good job. Very good price for the specs also. Too bad they are not represented so well in all the EU contries. Same as Xiaomi.
