HTC One mini 2 - User Reviews

  • Bought this phone last 2014 in Africa; got snatched during traffic jam 😁 bought another one, my 4 yo nephew bit the screen and it craked 😁 But I liked the phone so much, good performance. I enjoyed using it..

  • Whats the battery life like on your htc one mini 2

  • Just recently bought a htc one mini 2 . Battery is good. Good specs for £38.

  • After 2 years battery charged very slow, I suspected battery fault. Bought battery, tear down all, broke ribbon cable of lower speaker and usb port. Bought the board, replace both battery and board. Charge normal again. Then Im not sure the problem are battery or usb port corroded. Broke antenna on upper speaker cover. Still normal. RAM was main problem here, as only 200Mb left. Make it really slow. But this phone was beauty. Love design and size.

  • It's a great phone, never had problems, until today when I've tried to download a health tracker app - says my device in not compatible. Company says phone is probably old version (!). Does this mean I have to upgrade to a new phone...???

  • Its an okay phone if all you're doing is basic stuff. It's extremely slow at opening apps and running them and it often overheats quite a lot. decent at running youtube videos but optimisation isn't very good.

  • I Have Mine It Oz In Good Condition Bt It Js Start Misbehaving,if I Switch It On,after Som Sec It Switchez Itslf Off.,.I Dnt Knw Wat To Do Nw,,,help Pliz

  • HTC is the best!!

  • Use earphones for privacy

  • The use of the phone is quite enjoying but it gets too hot to hold especially after a long use either for the internet or for games.

  • Own this phone for 2 years, tho. And have no problems with apps loading or smth like this. It works pretty fast, btw battery still doing it's job perfect, 2 days in typical daily mode: internet+music+calls. Also it has awesome sound using both speakers and external output and nice retina screen. Not an iphone 6, but it costs a fair price. Do not regret bought this one.

  • + 2 months after I bought the phone, the microphone wasn't working anymore and there was no solution to fix it. The only possibility was to speak on the speaker mode, which is quite incovenient tbh.

  • An overall poor phone with a small amount of RAM which makes it extremely slow. The phone takes a thousand years to open apps like Snapchat, which require the use of a camera. Videos on youtube are quiet good but the phone gets laggy after 1 to 2 years of use. I wouldn't recommend buying it unless you will just use it for basic stuff (calling, messaging etc). Moreover, without a protection, you will feel your fingers burning because of the battery overheating problem. It also has a major problem with water because a simple contact with it makes the phone bug. I bought the phone in 2014 and 6 months later, it started to freeze and even crash sometimes with no reason. There are also phenomen which can't be explained like the autocorrector turning on itself or the need to restart the phone because the Camera app cannot be opened. P.S: The battery removal is a pain in the a** because of the required number of tools to just open the phone and then disconnect all of the wires of the phone just to access the battery.

  • you make me laugh so good .... THANKS :)

  • ha ha ha

  • After a year it turnout to be the shities phone ever and i just want to smash it with a hammer till i wont be able to lift the hammer again.

  • Its camera is good... But ram is not sufficient.... Battery life also poor....don't wast your mony....

  • i have battery problem and heating issue also

  • What about the battery life?? Any issues with the camera??

  • yes.. you are right i love everything but the RAM if it had 2gb, would be my best phone ever

  • I underestimated this phone....but the only CON is its 1gb RAM, every other thing is awesome.

  • Honestly speaking, it's a decent phone with a nice display, small screen and first and foremost, what probably is the best stereo loudspeaker I've ever seen on a phone. That being said, though,it is,for the most part, a very flawed phone, with glaring cons such as: -Intense overheating in every season of the year(yes, even winter) -Short battery life -Performance similar to that of a 2011 flagship phone (plus one that people haven't really talked about at all,or it's only me) -The glass is terribly fragile(I only dropped the phone once from 1 meter height max and it cracked) You can still give it a shot, in case performance is not what you are looking for on a phone, but you would be better off buying any of the latest phones in Sony's E series or the newest Samsung A3.

  • Totally agree

  • I've had this phone for almost 2 years and I love it, no problem with reliability for me. Due an upgrade in a couple of months but will be keeping hold of this phone a bit longer as it's still in perfect working order and have no reason to change it. I'd definitely recommend

  • From what I heard I can say that the best about this phone is design and speakers and the worst is performance.

  • Wow that's a really big step up. It's about 7 times faster, way better camera, fingerprint scanner, newer OS (and updates for a long time). Congratulations :)

  • Absolute rubbish - don't buy it whatever you do. Unreliable, slow, overheating. I can't believe they are still selling them? A con from the very start. I threw mine away (I really did) and bought a Motorola G for half the price. Now that's a decent phone. Buy that! Shame on you HTC.

  • Worst phone ever. Bought this phone (2015 generation) to replace my Iphone4 (2010 generation) and now I'm regretting it. I'm missing my old Iphone because it was way faster!!! and stable. Sometimes I can't even answer a call on this piece of c&^p. Worse is when I have my data connection or wifi tuned off for a period (usualy at night). When turning internet on.....cannot use this phone for at least 10 minutes. I don't have strong opinions like pro-iphone or anti-iphone or whatever but I will buy an Iphone 5SE (I like small phones that's why I went for mini) to replace this htc junk. It's fantastic how a Iphone from 2010 cand move way faster than a 2015 htc. I've could never imagine

  • Had the phone for about 20 months. Sooooo sloooow. Doubles as a toaster it gets that warm. Just waiting for the Oneplus 3 to appear, there could well be a cheap HTC available.

  • Cool phone, have been using it over a yr now. But the power button is not working.

  • Great phone ! Awesome design, very good camera but poor battery life

  • Overheats & battery goes

  • i have been using the phone for a year and half and it is still cool, the only problem is its slow now and it overheats.

  • i read alomost all the reviews and i i think most of them were not fair .ive had this awsome phone since a year ago ann still i enjoy everything about it.the size, the design, thw quality , even the battery, i used to change phones once a month but now that i have this cute htc one mini2 ,it is hard for me to think about a new one.BTW, no lag, no heat , camera is just perfect both front and main camera .GooD LuCk

  • I've had the HTC One mini 2 for just over a year now. Biggest problem thus far has to be how ridiculously slow the phone has become and the battery. Randomly 6 months, the phone started to overheat on its own, becoming seriously hot that it was a cause for concern. This stopped after 5 months and now the battery is just pants, sometimes it doesn't charge, its charges slowly, it takes forever to get to 1% when charging from being completely dead. I'm just getting an iPhone next.

  • I just stumled over all bad reviews for the One mini2 and must say I´m surprised. I´ve had this phone for almost two years now and it just works. Build quality is awesome, the speakers are great and I have never experienced any lag when I use the phone. Can´t say I have problems with battery life either, it lasts long enough. The size is neat and together with the HTC flip cover it has survived a few drops to the ground without any scratches or dents.

  • I own this phone since November 2015 and it's a great phone. Just disappointed no Lollipop update.

  • Has a sleek design but that's it. Constantly adds some more languages to the keyboard by itself, constantly freezes, constantly puts autocorrect back on by itself, often the keyboard letters just become a black panel and you have to click to guess which is which, all in all is not worth half of it's price and the mess that it makes all by itself in a flash of eyelids is cringeworthy and spectacular.

  • Bought it in 2014. It has broken down 3 times and each time htc broke their own appalling SLA in fixing it. Crap phone with crap support, thank god the crap contract ends next month

  • Lol, Iphones are terrible you pay for the apple logo, the rest is some Chinese $200 phone that looks pretty

  • Crap phone. Apps open on their own randomly. Camera is naff. Needs more RAM. Way too slow. Save for an iPhone 6s instead.

  • Awesome phone,HTC is the best!

  • First of all. HTC company cheated his clients. They announced HTC will have an lollipop upgrade and this was not happening. Battery life is poor.

  • many of you talking about problems, but i love this phone...everything work fine! I am very surprised by such bad statements. Phone is OK! dont worry....

  • This phone is awful! Biggest regret! Totally not worth for the money, so many problems, apps going on and off without even touching the phone, problems with the charging, the battery is very bad, and problems with the microphone.

  • very classy mobile and practical , friendly software

  • I've this phone since its release it had lots of issues ... After 1.5 year the Mic issue appears the other side cannot hear me and the purple tint issue with the camera and the battery draining so fast .. too bad I've never had any issue with my old HTC desire x

  • If one phone fails then it doesn't mean that the whole company fails

  • What's up android version?

  • Without doubt the worst phone I have ever had. I bought into a contract of 5 phone, 3 have been replaced one other required full reset and lost everything on the phone. This has all been within 3 months of the phones being new. Can't believe i am a two year contract for this rubbish.

  • I can honesty say that the HTC One mini2 is the worst mobile I have ever had. Believe me I have had some! It is so slow and EE do not accept there is a problem. I have thrown it in the drawer now and have bought an HTC one S which is ten times better. I will use the S for the remaining year of my contract. I think EE didn't know what to say, he did not have my comment written on his card! They are as much rubbish as the mobiles they sell!

  • don't. Just don't get this phone - work well for 2-3 months then won't factory reset won't send emails won't sync with computer

  • I can't manage my files. When im on Settings> security>Install from storage> Internal storage. My stuff is greyed out! How can i make it workable?

  • At first I bought the htc one mini 2 in the hope that I'll be getting android 5.0 soon-esh...that was in the beginning of 2015 and 5.0 was pretty new, I knew it could take a few months and I had a good standing with htc in the past as my first phone was a htc device...that was in the beginning of the year...there is nothing wrong with the stock 4.4.2 kitkat ROM, but it was starting to get old, both from my fun of using it, it's looks and apps support, It is October and news of android 6.0 is buzzing around,( who knows maybe I'll get a surprise 6.0 update in the future) Other then that android update letdown, I really didn't find anything wrong, the large internal space is a nice feature as I haven't been able to fill it (without installing 50 apps I don't need) and the back camera takes OK pictures, I don't have a need for that selfie cam on front as it is a other story then the back camera, original battery live was good, lasting me 3 days without heavy use and a good 5 hours of ex-stream heavy use (the next paragraph is only for advanced users) Modding was a bit hard at the start, getting the phone rooted and stuff, but I did it. CM support is a bit lacking and the back side did heat up a fear bit in heavy use with custom roms, also if you like the start splash screen's clean look then kiss that good by after installing a custom rom as you will get a nice little notice in read letters telling you about that that build is for developer purposes only ect. Ok back to the stuff your normal android user would care about, first of all these phone is durable, apart from a few nicks and dents on the corners of these phone, it survived pretty well if you consider that I'm a bit of a clumsy person, cover hunting was...interesting...If you want a cover then I'll suggest online shopping...also be warned that I am pretty sure the back is used as a heat-sink as it can get pretty hot at times, perfect for heating your hands in the morning I suppose...

  • Excellent phone....

  • Worst phone I have had up to date! Do not recommend anybody to invest in it!! Have had software issues with it from the first day

  • Excellent superb . Don't update

  • Excellent smartfone

  • Anyone have any idea why my phone freezes randomly and then just turns off without any warning

  • when is release android 5 ????pls help and tell me

  • problem in speaker, charger, getting too much heat, slow worse phone ever i used

  • worse. phone. ever. Notifications don't show up. Slow. Unreliable. Randomly sets speaker on while talking on the phone. Already replaced phone once. Camera crashes. Try viewing the photo after taking it...... . .. s .. .l .. .o. . w.

  • HTC One Mini 2 is one of the best cell phone, perfect processing speed, outstanding result is front and back cam, at least two day's backup me.

  • Absolutely do not buy this phone. It is terribly unreliable and its performance is poor. Even HTC have given up bothering to update its software.

  • I have had one of these for 6 months and it has needed to be replaced 4 times. It looks and feels good, but clearly the money was spent on the packaging and the technology underneath is cheap, slow and unreliable. It's a real shame as the original HTC One was really good. This seems to be HTC cashing in on the One brand with a sub standard handset. Do yourselves a favour and DO NOT buy this phone.

  • This is the worst phone at this price .Entry level specifications for the moment of lanch.

  • The best android phone i've had so far. great features for the price and not too big for my girls hands. the camera is great, the screen is clear and bright. the phone itself is really good looking, no plastic and we like that. 3 minor things that annoy me though: when it's flat on a table it will tilt because its back is rounded (doesnt happen since it lives in a case full time) second, the battery life could really be improved. even when i dont touch it it doesnt last the day. it's annoying to charge it twice a day. but as i read on many reviews, it's normal and within the average of most android phone. must be apple that gave me high standards regarding battery life. the iphone 6 can last 2 days if you dont use it much. and third, there are not many custom roms out there for this phone. i found 2: cyanogen and liquidsmooth. and cyanogen was a nightly that was really bugged. fortunatly liquidsmooth runs perfectly fine and ive been using it for a couple months. i'll stick with it since i didnt even find a paranoid android or a aokp for it.

  • HTC mini 2,the most useless phone EVER don't buy this rubbish in less than 9 mounts stuck in a loop you cant switch On or Off over prised trash...... Good luck for those who've got or will buy this rubbish

  • Ignore its good looks. This is one of the worst phones I have ever used. In four months since upgrading, it has crashed three times and been considered beyond repair by my network provider resulting in repeated replacements. Do not make the mistake and get this useless handset. If you require a reliable phone, run away from this now.

  • This proves, once again, that there isn't much of a difference between manufactures and technologies used in phones nowadays and there is absolutely no reason any longer to pay the premium price for these overpriced "flagships" - and I'm not referring to HTC alone, but all of them "famous" names. There was a time when I would fork out the extra, only to have a good phone or other device (preferably HTC), but I've now realized that there are so many other quasi-anonymous phones out there that may last way better than these flagships, while costing a fraction of their price. My phone is such a device and I'm almost wishing it failed so that I would have a reason to buy a new phone, but it just wouldn't give up! :) My advice is stay away from "flagships" in the future, they are selling their name, not quality anymore. Get a 150 phone and you may be surprised. Besides, we're all changing them in a couple of years, so why invest too much in something that will become obsolete soon or you will just get bored with?

  • which update it is? where are your region? cause I don't have it yet

  • please i need urgent assistance, since yesterday my htc one mini 2 has been showing me mic and lock bar on screen whenever i want to unlock. i know my password.it is not showing me keyboard to type,if i restart it will only show me where to type my unlock code and ask me to speak now at first.what will i need do, i think i have mistakenly deleted the wrong application or software am so confused now. pls i need help on how to reset or format this phone tried several times no luck

  • didn't you face any problem while you can't update the Android? is it working well?

  • You really should buy this Phone, i have had it for like 1 year right now, and i havent had any problems with it yet.

  • Activated 4G from the mobile operator, but it doesn.t work, shit......

  • Hi! i'm planning to purchase this mobile, plz let me know shall i buy or not.

  • Have no problem with mine good everything and phone sized powerhouse.

  • U have the nfc but do the update first

  • Friends the nfc is available after the software update check it out

  • It can support a whole arm bro..lol

  • Can anyone tell me how many fingers does support in one mini 2???

  • they made hell of a money on each device.i wonder what will be the reaction of fellows who buy this MINI FLAGSHIP

  • i need hlp..i hv.. problem..htc one mini 2 hv pink issu

  • after 4 months of use, suddenly one afternoon while i was surfing, battery suddenly dropped from 80% to 15%. in the next 5 min phone got so hot i was afraid it might explode or something. screen was frozen. i could not open this to take battery out. it drained battery in the next 3 min. i sent it to service, and they charged me 150 euros for battery and circuit board. N E V E R .... TRUST H.T.C.........NEVER......!! If anyone doesn't believe me, contact me and i will prove it.

  • When i zoom the pictures,it seems blurring pictures,i think my invest of this mobile totally waste..htc u destroy my hopes..

  • I have seen worst camera ever..

  • I am using paragraphs in my comments but when they are published it's just one continuous paragraph??

  • Oh well dissatisfied with M9 so have ordered this. Give it a try but had to buy brand new from main phone store so I have some decent back up if all goes wrong. M9 was bit stuttery plus got hot just playing music which is not right,,ok get hot on 3g streaming or gaming I expect plus battery poor. I suppose battery just going in heat. Audio good but camera odd autofocus too slow and in low light video just not right. It is if M9 needs a good software overhaul it is gorgeous phone it really is and hope it gets put right so I can buy it again further down the line.

  • Yes

  • My friend go back to HTC and they will tell you that NFC is not available for some models. I wonder how HTC can makesame model with NFC enabled and some without. I think this phone is added another falier to HTC one family. Again. I think no update for android 5.0 will come .. it's officially announced. Sorry for whom cheated with this bad mini.

  • i need hlp..i hv.. problem..htc one mini 2 hv pink issu..(yes or no) tell me soon...

  • Not buying this now even though it ticks all the boxes,,do they not test phones anymore? I can fully understand how ultra complex these smartfones are but if you cannot do it right don't bother. So its m8 or m9 but m8 top audio but back to 4 mp cam which is ok,OR.m9 which has poor camera on every youtube techblog video I've watched. It is the same as 10 years ago every phone has a flaw,,some have many flaws,,big sigh.

  • Great front and back facing camera and speakers.

  • excellent phone

  • This is an absolutely miserable phone to repair the screen on. Requires full and entire disassemble, messing about with fragile and poorly-routed cables. On paper it looks like a great phone. It has nice weight and balance, and looks good. Look at the teardowns and you'll find a LOT of ribbon cables and tape. Yes, every phone has ribbon cables. The problem with these ones is that they are long, and simply held down by cheap tape. This increases the chances of damaging a cable when you repair it. In the US anyways, screen assemblies are very rare and incredibly expensive. You can buy the LCD and glass digitizer separate, but they almost always come from China, almost always take forever to arrive, and have questionable build quality. This is a nice phone if you treat it like a newborn infant. Its a terrible phone if you need to fix it.

  • Nice looking phone (on paper) but speaker problems 50% of you will have, that's all I have to say after 1 year and 3 replacements later

  • Good luck to us as a HTC mini2 owner, no update for lollipop as per HTC.

  • it was launched in in india for 35k,with lower midrange specs. they made hell of a money on each device.i wonder what will be the reaction of fellows who buy this MINI FLAGSHIP

  • Any news about the Mini 3 ?

  • Colour is subjective but i find they grey looks miserable so would have to go silver or gold. Gold could look cheap so I would perhaps go silver. I want a HTC for audio quality through headphones but EVERY model is either flawed or has too big a screen. This HTC one mini 2 is perfect but folk keep on about microphone issues. Really confused ATM. I think m7 is the better model, cheap second hand and camera at 4mp should do for 6 x 4 prints. Got to go away for a week training in 2 weeks so need a good smartphone soon.Arghhh .

  • Can u plz tell me in which color it looks more premium and graceful? I'm confused in b/w amber gold and grey. Thanks

  • While buying a used htc one mini 2 u can dial *#*#3424*#*#* and u can diagnose everything

  • Hi friend!can u plz tell me in which colour htc one mini 2 looks most premium and graceful.i'm confused in between amber gold and metallic grey.thanks

  • If you are in ANYWAY concerned about SAR you should NOT be using any mobile phone. Silly comment.

  • This model has problems with SAR

  • try to check the warranty, same happen to my mini2, first having issue on mic then they replaced it with new unit. And after several months, facing an overheat issue and the mini USB burnt and wont charge, i send it to service center and they replaced it again with new one. For less than a year, they replace my unit twice with new one. :)

  • Why the phones makers think that everybody want a big cow? 4.5" screen is not "MINI"! I have Galaxy S4 mini - 4.3" and it's the biggest screen I can/will accept. I wouldn't mind all the gizmos like fingerprint etc but I won't buy a phone that is bigger than S4 mini!

  • My phone case wasn't replaced by guarantee. They said that I damaged the phone but the true is that I left never dropped the phone. So I think that the guarantee is the worst.

  • Is their anybody who was able to set once succussfuly a HTC One mini 2 S-OFF??? If yes, it would be gracefuly, to deliver a tutorial! Many Thanks Fritzli

  • This phone was so badly built and fragile! No more HTC for me! Although the original package looked good and the screen had good resolution. inside 1 month the case cracked around the edges (common fault replaced under guarantee) then cracked again (no guarantee :( ) Then sadly I dropped it 60cm onto tarmac with a neoprene case on and the screen shattered. Awful phone

  • What should i look for when i'm buying the phone second-hand? can it be replica ? if yes how can i tell ?

  • Please tell me how to get a vedio call on my HTC one mini 2.not Skype

  • it has 4G also

  • I oiled Justin up in the weekend. From Lorenzo

  • Hello... I wana ask u that htc one mini2 3g or 4g....plz rply me

  • I have had this phone for a few months and I love it, it hasn't caused me any problems and its great for watching videos on. I couldn't be happier.

  • I like very much, I bought this phone and are pleased with it

  • I have this phone close to a month, but i am very happy with it. I use the O2 network if is any relevance. Is great phone and i would recommended to everyone.

  • It is a very good phone !

  • this is the worst phone i have ever used with in a month of getting this phone for vodaphone problems started the latest problem am having today now is that the battery went dead and after charging it the phone couldn't come up again, i know this phone is crap from the first day i found out that you can not open and see the battery. i can never ever touch this phone any more .

  • me thinks dis phone good be

  • Also available as pink

  • love it

  • Hello. I have a Nokia Lumia 735 and I want to know if it's a good idea to buy the HTC ONE MINI 2?

  • Sorry I would like to share your options screen to check out nfc option. I am sure there's no nfc, at least in my phone.

  • Good

  • best phone ever i used it never regret

  • Yes it is!

  • yes its good and price is also good in ur country. get it u will not regret

  • is this is m8 mini ??

  • Great price for a great phone!

  • In my country this phone now cost 350$ with contract of 24 mounts (13$ per month unlimited calls, sms, 6gb net). I want to buy it, is that price good ?

  • Does not have MHL Video Out. This is incorrect.

  • If you want the best 4" screen size android smartphone, go to Sony Xperia Z1 Compact or Z3 Compact

  • i need to save money

  • No 4G in the US with the international version..

  • Nfc is included and also you can upgraded to android 5 maybe after January 2015

  • Only size is good! Ram and display must be better. HTC one shouldn't be middle range, its a flagship phone, mini or not mini. Ram2 Super LCD 3

  • Will there be an upgrade to htc mini 2 in the next few months? Eager to have a htc one phone which will be compact and have specifications close to sony xperia z3 compact

  • The phone is basically the same as the previous htc one mini. its also has 1gb ram the same graphics processing unit the adreno 305. you can expand the one mini using a small otg sd card reader thats supports up to 64 gb so no need for a built in sd card. the processors of both are qualcomm snapdragon 400 but the mini 2 is a bit faster because quad vs dual core. the previous one mini is much cheaper now. the 4 ultrapixel camera vs the 13 megapixel is the same because for every ultra pixel there are 3 extra mega pixels so 4 times 3 is 12. no difference. my htc one mini runs all the latest games no lag. the screen is also 720p no difference. in my opinion go for the first htc one mini. you will be saving much more money.

  • Sadly, I was expecting more from this phone. Disappointed as some features mentioned its included but after I purchased I found that NFC and IR is not included. Also, no upgrade plan to android 5.0. Comparing to price with other brands it's expensive with such price you can get better specs. My first experience with HTC failed. I'll get back to IPHONE. Sorry HTC , but I feel cheated with this mobile.

  • The best Android I have ever had. No matter how many apps I load it still provides the same speed. Lives up to the battery performance. Fantastic camera performance. The gorilla glass is not as good as claimed

  • hi everyone i need ur help i recently bought asian variant of this device: Product:htc_asia_tw. Board: MSM 8226 (if i'm not mistaken european variant with MSM 8926 supports 4G LTE). does anyone know whether it has support for 4G/LTE connections or not???

  • I bought this mobile on 29th Sept 2014 and from the day i bought have a mike problem, and then i went to the show room where i have purchased. They checked and exchange with a new mobile. New mobile was working fine but one problem was overheating. Two days back suddenly mobile got overheated and immediately charge got discharged, i though may be some problem with mobile and kept off from charging and allowed time to cool. After cooling i try to charge the mobile and it is not charging and it is totally dead. All my contacts and mails are in that mobile memory and now worried about to recovery of those documents. Today i took that mobile to service center and they was saying this entire type model have same type of issue. Friends mobile features and specification is very good but when using i found these problems. I recommend not getting this mobile until this issue need to sort out by HTC.

  • hey Khalid Pakistani!m8 and M8 mini are in luxury class and it's better that you don't speak about some thing you have no information about it.luxury prices are different and have no compare with other... look at vertu or some other luxury.htc makes a mini luxury with this price .if you don't like this phone you have to go for some cheap brands like samcheat,lg or sony.apple, htc ,blackberry and Motorola are for gentleman and expert people.not for every body.buy

  • dosnt have a mhl video out

  • well its not , there is iphone which .....

  • It Is Most Expensive Cell Phone With Such small Specs.HTC must review its Price Policy Which Is Shameful & ridiculous Khalid Mahmood Pakistan

  • can we change the equalizer in original music player?

  • Superb fone all round apart from the battery battery life. If you are doing anything processor or screen intense get yourself a power bank!

  • for sure.open music logo and in play page when song is playing tap the menu, then choose it and select what model you like.rock, pop, jazz or ... also you can fix it in user type and change the equalizer rocker by yourself.

  • can we change the music equalizer on this phone manually? thanks

  • guys can we change the equalizer on music player in one mini 2? thanks

  • I got this phone with problem you guys talking about, microphone was noisy on receiver side. i hope the dealer (Haddad) in Riyadh will replace it

  • yes i got same worst problem in my device . the (Haddad) service center in Riyadh also did not repair it .

  • I got this phone with problem you guys talking about, microphone was noisy on receiver side. then I got replacement and everything work perfectly fine. I like this good looking phone, even though the price a little bit overatted. It fit to used in one hand, size not too big, although reaching power button a little bit hard.

  • Ohh htc one mini 2 Costs 500$ then its OVERpriced as specs inferior snapdrgn 400 quad?u can get ones wth snapdrgn 800 or 801 at minor more bucks . 2=only 1gb ram .n. no metal chasis so not good deal to spend 500$or 30000 rupees it shoud big booom at above 300$+but not more even 50$ what actual criteria of this specification its simply considre above moto G or other snapdrgn 400 this is fact atleast htc should consider price it at its performance power

  • if peoples complin issues are rare about (5%) then its ok Its best if battry backup 8hrs how anyone compare it to moto G it has boom beats speaker and better cam...

  • if peoples complin issues are rare about (5%) then its ok Its best if battry backup 8hrs how anyone compare it to moto G it has boom beats speaker and better cam...

  • i want to root this phone! i can't ! help me please !

  • this is the superb in this class.. amazing performance compact and more over super battery back up.. im satisfied 100%.

  • imagine same with m8 SAR EU 0.42 W/kg (head) 0.22 W/kg (body)

  • way too costly for a specs similar to moto g(2013) with just improved camera.

  • Does anyone know the SAR of this smartphone? Thanks!

  • a mini phone specs with super huge dimension..

  • It's almost more body than screen. C'mon Htc!!!

  • It feels amazing in your hands, man HTC made some pretty good looking phone and sense makes android even better!

  • In may case, they replaced it with a new unit. so far it is working fine.

  • If you get no sound on the speaker switch off fast boot in settings and reboot the phone this sorted out the issue for me.

  • wr did u buyied

  • Hi,i bought this phone in Ireland,i can say that i am very dissapointed, right from the first call, the microphone is not working,i use the phone in Romania, the htc support says that the international warranty is not valid here, because the phone was sold with a software branded...anyway i cannot find a service that can replace the microphone without damages for the case.

  • I have the HTC one mini 2....Its really really nice phone and it have much higher specifications as compare to other famous phones.... i have no any complain about this phone....& i also recommend this phone to all.. i love this phone.

  • Sorry for delay, but I hope it will still help you. Please be aware with my issues I had with the service guys in Kuwait When they fixed my microphone, I got the phone back and the phone was not ringing in my pocket. I sent it back to them again and they resettled it. Now, the phone was ringing in my pocket but another four issues came up: - Blurry camera, - Phone goes silence by itself, - Volume button is destroyed (needs pressure to press it) - Front part where the front camera is goes out, So please please when you go to these guys make sure you check all these things. I was there more than 6 times and it cost me more than 30 KWD only taxi. Now I m no longer in Kuwait and the phone is in another service, still waiting for it, I never enjoyed my "new" phone! The address is below: TechnoCare Mobile Solutions Est Office No.10 Building No.6, Sector 214, P.O Box 5719, Al BadawiTower Opp. Al Othman Centre IBN Khaldoun Street Hawally, Kuwait Phone Number: 22646019 Care Center Timing 9:00AM to 8:00PM

  • I sent it to the service cause the place where I bought didn't return it back. The problem is that they fixed the microphone but the camera is blurry now, I have no idea what the service did. Since I bought this phone I didn't enjoy it at all, it's always in the service. I can't blame on HTC for this expect for microphone, it's service's fault.

  • Z1 compact is a superb phone if it has gorilla glass protection.. Htc mini2 better without micro phone problem

  • plzz friends i've the one mini 2 ... does anyone experinced a background noise while playing music ! it's so annoying and also when i charge my phone 100% but when i turn it on it's actually 97% not fully charged plzzzzz help!

  • how it work...with 1 gb ram

  • For these specs the price is ridiculous (in a bad way). I recommend checking Motorola Moto G variants. If a more premium device is desired, then the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact is a much better phone for a bit less. The Z3 Compact will be announced soon as well.

  • I bought the Htc one Mini 2 and right out of the box the microphone never worked. I could hear callers only through the speaker phone or using the head set. I went through over an hour of trouble shooting with htc's online support only for the agent to confirm that it was a hardware defect and the microphone didnt work. htc's solutions all included sending me back a refurbished phone to replace my brand new (never used, hardware defective) phone. Telling me it was their 'policy' even though it was evident that I bought their defective product. The phone itself is still good however I would hesitate to recommend the htc brand to anyone based on their ridiculous policy and this experience. I do not know how wide spread this microphone problem with this model phone but be warned. Htc will not replace your defective phone with a new one.

  • Mine never restart

  • After 15days of complaining from local store, they replaced it with the new one. It seems the microphone was a factory defect.

  • Compare the cameras bro

  • z1 and z1 compact are fail and don't come to compete with this amazing phone

  • how to enable English Language

  • God, it's expensive than Z1 & Z1 compact. No way HTC

  • How is nexus 5 battery??because I've heard it's aweful!!

  • hello i bought this phone last 10days before..me also same problem with mic.i want to give service center where should be there in Kuwait.

  • I want this phone in Japan Tokyo. From where can i buy this phone in Japan. Plz suggeste me .....,,.

  • Is this the mini version of M8?

  • Î have problems with my new HTC mini 2 bought 2 days ago. First, the phone restarts by itself quite often, especially when I get errors that can be sent to HTC. Second, after I get errors, the phone blocks out or I cannot use any more power but on to lock the screen. I want to know if someone have the same problems like I do , and if this problems are androids fault.

  • i used this phone 3 weeks ago no problem no issues at all excellent camera amazing design why all a prob with the microphone but my mini 2 has any problem maybe all these that comment here lie !!!

  • I bought the nexus 5 over the htc one mini 2 and I'm glad that I did they both cost 350 euros in Ireland the nexus 5 has way better specs if u can get over the bad speakers and the okay camera I think you'll b much happier with the nexus 5

  • forget about htc one mini 2, this phone has an issue with microphone.

  • Please somebody tell me, when will it be available in India? I am desperate to buy it.

  • hey i want to ask witch is better the z1 compact or the htc one mini 2 please replay me fast and thanks :D

  • hi,may i know, your microphone problem solve or not?because my one mini 2 have that problem..pls tell me?

  • Htc one mini2 best

  • @Mark Get the Z1 Compact. It's the best one out of the phones you listed.

  • i had the same problem with a noisy mic. The device was replaced and its good so far

  • Can you guys help me on what phone should i buy? Im really confused between Htc one mini 2 and z1 compact and the iphone 5. They are all LTE and have a great camera. Which one should i buy?

  • hi.. same problem with my new mini2, today i returned it to the store. hope they can fix it or replace with the new one.

  • Does the mic are really Noisy...?? i need an answer fast! and it is a good phone?

  • Is the HTC one mini 2 only working on Verizon or does it work on sprint / T- Mobile too ??

  • If you have a contract. You can replace it under warrenty

  • Great phone .HTC ONE thats' you are looking forward to own.

  • I don't know whats happening with HTC, my phone is in service after 5 day's of use. Microphone is broken. Incredible .... searched on net and we are a lot of people with this issue!

  • If I were you I would get the htc one m8 or m7

  • hi.. same problem with my new mini2, did you return it to store or they did replace it with new one? thanks.

  • nexus 5

  • I had that issue!!! It seems to be a defect with some early models . I replace mine and now it works fine :)

  • If PAYG, Then go for nexus 5 but if want a PAYM phone, this phone is cheaper... Hope this helps.. Tip. Quad core phone , even a A7 cortex, is still really snappy. Had it a month and only had one issue but that was the mic. I swapped phone with warrently. It anyway. Performance isn't bad despite what People say.

  • I'm planning to buy a phone, and can't decide about Htc one mini 2 or Lg Nexus 5, can you give some opinions ?

  • Yes. I have bought this phone and it has both of those features.

  • I bought this phone a week ago and I have problems with microphone (in calls and in voice recorder app, it makes noise. Now it is at service

  • thanks

  • Good choice

  • Does it have HTC zoe & slow motion video recording? I'm interested with the camera features.

  • There is a big sale right now on the HTC One M7, that is a much better phone. $399.99 at this link:

  • Yes. It supports USB OTG (I am using it)

  • I am planning to purchase HTC One Mini 2...right now I am using Galaxy SIII... can some advise me is it good to replace SIII with HTC One Mini 2 ????

  • Does it support usb otg?

  • Ha... 500 pound is equal to 850 dollar dude, how do you mean same price?

  • Why did you spend $500 on the mini version, in the UK you could probably pick up the flagship version for that price (well around £500 anyway)

  • This phonne I have (HTC mini 2) has hairline scratch on screen and Mic doesn't seem to work

  • which is better phone in htc device? 1.one 32gb 2.one mini2

  • I bought this phone a week ago in Kuwait (Alghanim shop) for 140KWD (around $500). Phone is good, I like it! The only problem is the microphone. When I make calls, the microphone creates a noise by itself and people are not able to hear me. To make sure that the problem is with microphone , I used the app "Voice Recorder", it was quiet in my room and again, it makes noise again! For people who wants to buy this phone I will suggest 2 things to test the microphone: - Make phone call and ask them if they can clearly hear you, - Use app "Voice Recorder" in a quiet place to record anything, then play it right away to see if there is any noise. Hope it will help you! Thanks,

  • so my friends direrences between htc one mini and htc one mini 2 for me it means:> does this mini 2 makes HAIRLANE CRACKS like htc one mini?? please answear me, thanx a lot

  • i like one mini2 this is my bajat an fully power full mob......

  • And what's mini about, it's "huge" phone

  • Old chipset, A7... why would you put something like this, on a brand new model... that`s stupid.

  • Why would anyone buy this? Exact same specs as the Moto G.

  • Is this phone released? I can't find it anywhere, not even on HTC site...

  • When is this phone coming to Malaysia ?

  • Its much better.. Better camera but lacking on more image sensor. I think they need to put BIS-CMOS sensor.. Not to put CCD anymore.. Front camera is much better in selfie than other cellphone. 5mp front is good when you do groupie. Front speaker is better but it tends to crackle at sometimes esp when you have 128bitrate.. I don't think that the S400 Chip. Can't take the phone for too long. QuadCore 1.2GHz A7 is such to small to function all the high specs of the phone, also, it has 720p screen that could lag the whole system....

  • k zoom is 4.8 and the htc mini 2 is 4.7, yet the mini2 is longer. laffing in hindi.

  • when will it arrive Egypt and what is the expected price ?

  • when will it comes in qatar ...................

  • S4 Mini, One Mini and z1 compact are all minis. If infrared is what you're looking for s4 mini, power+camera- z1 compact, sound quality (beats integration) - HTC One mini The size of the g2 mini is about as big as the HTC One (which btw includes infrared and some remarkable specs)

  • Was my option, but no infrared ... After not sell do not know why. I'll buy the LG G2 mini! okay

  • when the phone will launch in india? any idea

  • I need a dual sim, up to 4.5" Amoled with at least 2 GB RAM. Is it so hard to be made a such phone :-) I really don't understand why the phone factories are doing 5.5''. Do we need mini tablets in our pockets? There are normal people who wants to use a normal phone not a tablet :)

  • no 32GB internal storage ?

  • can't support with 2300Mhz Band 4G like in India.

  • Is it 4g compatible? ??

  • Absolutely you cannot

  • Buy the HTC One (m7)... it's the same size as this phone, but has bigger screen, 2gb RAM and it's slimmer. This is NOT a mini... How can you call this phone mini???

  • You can get it cheaper, at O2 it's £360, but you can get it at EE for £310 (the gold version with a £10 top-up).

  • In the UK, it's already on sale, and it's £360.

  • please it will be better if HTC will keep the price of the all their phones a little bit cheaper because its costly out of [email protected]

  • if its anything like the first HTC One mini, 350-400 euro

  • give us a clue about the price

  • HTC didn't cut the corners. They rounded them ;p

  • Are there by the Arabic language

  • 15 june

  • When will this phone arrive saudi Arabia

  • When will this phone arrive saudi Arabia

  • When will this phone arrive malaysia

  • When will this phone arrive t

  • True, I consider S4 as the most compact and most useful 5-inch screen phone.

  • if HTC ONE mini of 2013 would be upgraded to snapdragon 800 and 2gb of ram and micro sd card I rather prepare the first mini than this mini2

  • After release of sony z1 compact, the meanings of mini has completely changed. Though one can say z1c was not a mini, which is arguably true. Now everyone expect every mini to be comparable to z1c. In my openion this phone has nice specs, except its length i.e. 137mm. Anything below 130 mm would be good considering the screen size. Speakers could have been places on top and bottom sides like in nokia n73. Another point of argue is the price. When a phone is launched at appropriate price, it becomes bestseller, e.g. Nokia 520, Moto G, etc. HTC have a record of wrong price policy of launching phones at higher prices, which is the main reason of their failure. They should learn from Motorola how to do a come back ( by riding the success of Moto G).

  • Unfortunately, HTC make big phones. If you look at the Galaxy S4, it's the same size as HTC One Mini 2, but has a much much bigger screen.

  • Yes, like Z1 but with Amoled and it will be the perfect phone for 2014. Why I would someone buy a 5.1 inch? it's like a brick. I need it to fit in my pocket without effort :) It is so easy to make a such phone for a big company like Sony, Motorola, Samsung, LG and so on and you wont' see any. Everything is BIG and if it's "normal", it has 1 GB RAM...:)

  • i want to see Display Size 1080 x 1920 pixels, 6.0 inches (~471 ppi pixel density) Water resistant up to 3 meter and 24 hour Battery removable Li-Ion 5000 mAh Loudspeaker Voice 100dB // Ring 100dB iam waiting seen this details camera Primary 20.7 MP, 5248 х 3936 pixels, autofocus, LED flash

  • Quick question. If we take a picture in low light situation with a 13 megapixel camera like htc one mini 2 or galaxy s4 but with a higher exposure in the phone settings and then resize the picture to 4 MP can we get the same result with less noise like htc one m8 camera?????

  • Nice specs, better than its predecessor.

  • What a simple logic,I feel pity for you

  • The m8 is anything but a failure. The camera works perfectly fine for what it is, a camera. No one needs to see the coffee stains in your teeth.

  • Chinese quadcore and 1gb ram... There are phones less than 100USD with this specs. For now still sony Z1 compact for the mini market...

  • It's like they will never understand. They failed on the One M8 with the crappy 4 "ultra pixels lol" camera which really hurt the sells of the phone. Then they release the One Mini 2 with a crappy snapdragon 400 SoC, the same as the one in the One Mini released LAST YEAR. We don't want dumped down mini versions for fuck sake! Stop trying to cut corners HTC!!! Sony understood the compact thing. I just wish they had great speakers.

  • kind of expensive , i will not buy this phone sorry HTC

  • All good except poor processor and chipset...

  • 137 because of BoomSound !!

  • The main reason people get the One is because of those speakers.

  • The 2 mini One is too expensive for what it offers. In all the z1 xperia is better

  • length/width should be 2, or lower. for instance 130mm length / 65mm width = 2. Why ? Well, to get a ratio that is closer to beauty. The taiwanese here go wrong at the very start of its design. The speakers are to important i guess, to them. At 65 mm width, 125 mm height would have been super (or lower). 137 mm height is pathetic. In short; f**k the speakers.

  • z1 compact even better than this

  • HTC, remove the boomsound speaker, minimize the bezel, and keep everything else intact please (like the excellent snapper and audio quality). The One-series dimensions' a really big turn-off for me. :(

  • Disappointed with the job HTC did on this handset. Last year's one mini was actually a decent phone. This is not much of an upgrade at all.

  • It luks so nice. .bt the pricing . .! Htc's pricing usually too damn high . . If they release this phone under 20000₹ in india it will rock. . .!

  • It's sony Xperia Z1 compact for God sake -,-

  • i like it its good experience . its a good handset and very atractive.

  • Droid Mini, is still the best mini mobile phone!!!

  • The HTC service rep told it can be released in India but they are unable to comment on 4G specification, since its not released here.

  • i like very much this mobile htc mini one 2 plz tell me this mobile dual sim yes ans no tell me plz

  • i like this mobile to much . basically his features voice memo dial and his 12mega pic and front 5 mega pic and good speed .

  • Totally agree with you .. Never understood why manufacture even think of display greater than 4.5 inches ( 4.7 is limit).. A sweet phone would be 4.5 inch screen, 2 GB RAM , 2000mAh battery , > 8 MP camera , 720x1280 resolution, 2MP front camera.. a camera button .. small convex mirror at the back ..and nice build...

  • I was hoping to buy this phone as it is lovely looking, but at 137mm long with a 4.5" screen it isn't under any moniker a 'mini' phone. The only way I can see this phone being a success is if they price it at £330 or less. The Xperia compact costs £360.

  • Z1 compact?

  • In my country(India) I can get 4 'Moto G's instead of this hefty price tag phone, irony is both are having almost similar specs, of course Moto G lacks in build quality compared to mini 2 though G feels nice in the hands...come on htc, make the price reasonable else you will face even tougher financial years in future!! I personally feel htc is following BB with illogical pricing on its products......!!

  • Minor changes from last years model... why do they even bother? You don't release a new model without bumping up the specs, if you're gonna do it to the flagship device then you can do it to the mini version as well.

  • I would buy NOW a HTC one mini with 2 GB and AMOLED. In fact, this is what the most people need(I guess). 2 Ghz, 2 GB RAM,4.3 or 4.5 inch Amoled(being the best screen and I need it to fit in my pocket) and at least 2200 mAH battery. The rest of the feature it matters but not so much. I don't know why the phone companies do not make a product like that.

  • The only thing I hate about this phone is its expensive price. It's even more expensive than a Nexus 5, geez!

  • sony mobiles price range is never that attractive as expected often, its not for middle class guys. if the price range is affordable means the specifications are as stupid as expected. at least 1gb RAM & 4gb inbuilt with much needed more space for apps is general demand now a days by any national/international brands under 12K figure. And, this is key of success as well at present time for any smartphone manufacturer atleast in INDIA.

  • htc one mini 2 absoulutily very nice piece (handset). as soon as very high range but also costaly.

  • yes u can.......go to home screen and pinch, and a menu page will come about about widgets and stuff. You should see a turn off blink feed on the top left or the screen. Its that easy.

  • sony z1 compact better than this

  • need to lauch cdma+gsm version in india

  • As much as I wanted the mini 2 and love HTC. its a commercial disaster at the size. What were the team thinking. A mini bigger than the One X. It will cost them a lot of sales. The M8 good but this is not good as a mini. The mini design team should be put out to pasture. its a no brainer that its too big for its name sake.

  • You can. Every One has been able to turn it off since Sense 5.5.

  • If the price is too much, just wait until the price dropping down. Did HTC forced you to buy this phone? If you don't like this, no matter you can go for any phone you like.

  • I would rather pick the One Mini 2 And don't call me haters OK..? I'm just giving some opinion

  • I wonder if you can switch off blink feed?

  • You are thinking only about specs, first of all its price equal to Samsung s4 with the exact similar features of moto g .its better to go for moto g Dan dis bullshit phone.this HTC one mini 2 is also a shit phone like apple iPhone 5c

  • Sense 6 looks uglier than sense 5, it has thiis green overlay which makes it really. Ugly...

  • Just take a look at the previous year Z1 Compact. It's full of high specs with smaller design and low battery capacity. The end results of the high specs are over heating and battery drain problem. Z1 Compact user have been facing to these problems. This 720p display will balance the battery life efficiently. 1080p displays consume more power and GPU. Specs of the One Minni 2 are more than enough for do your day to day activities efficiently and smoothly.

  • LOL....S4 has 13MP Shooter. Straighten your facts (no offence).

  • Please do it 2gigs of ram to buy it at once

  • Hate those on screen buttons!

  • Thats true. Sense 6 is so fluid , HTC have proven high specs is not all. But I agree with many that the hardware should be a little better. I have the m8 , and to be honest I don't need these specs. I read mail, take some pictures, make calls and sometimes I play clash of clans. HTC one mini 2 is my next phone, gonna deliver back the m8 with 45 days policy we have in Norway

  • this mini 2 is not yet released right??? how come you are giving the feedback

  • The word "ultra pixel" is much hyped, my brother has one mini with 4ultra pixels & I've desire 600 with 8MP camera which takes much better shots than the one mini.

  • Thick nobs. This is the Mini version to the M8. Why are you wasting time over thinking on comparing size to the M7. Use your brains

  • this phone is too expensive for a mini version and those low specs ,470 euros for snapdragon 400 quadcore 1.2 ghz and only 1 gb ram ? really htc will end like blackberry very soon if they don't release a budget super phone like moto g or lg l90

  • Stupid HTC to have an on screen buttons. The screen though it is 4.5 inch its like just a 4 because of the on screen buttons. Htc one mini M7 is still better than mini 2. So HTC pls remove the on screen buttons!!!! Havibg the black bar with the htc logo doesnt have sense.. just a waste of space!!

  • men if you are calling the 4MP Ultrapixel camera a stupid i think you didn't see what that 4MP camera can do i advise you to take a look on comparaison between the 4MP Ultrapixel and the 8MP on the Galaxy S4 or the 13MP on LG G2 and you will see what really means this word " Ultrapixel " ;)

  • Calling this phone mini is calling the original htc one as mini, cause they both measure 137mm. And i'm sorry the internals are of almost low end standard and can't even cope up with year old midrangers. This is just waste of money and energy from htc's side. No sane person will consider to buy it with the asking premium.

  • htc should check the meaning of MINI in the dictionary. what a nonsense coming from a brand which produced great midrangers like one s in the past

  • I think it will be rocking.Main advantages of HTC phones are: Good hardware ,amazing camera ,perfect sense UI and reasonably good audio. It is a fact that HTC phones have huge price but if you use HTC phone once, you can see how it's performed well than its competitors.

  • I cant believe in these people. either a stupid 4 mega pixels on the M8 or a stupid 1 gb of ram on this almost perfect phone :(((

  • BFFF .... it has nothing to offer and it is a big phone only featuring 4.5" display , and I think it is very expensive in this price range and compared to the specs of this device , Z1 compact Rocks this phone down

  • with all my respect men your are out of your mind if you are comparing HTC to Motorola loooooooool Moto are begineers in smartphones world HTC are the best by the audience votes don't forget the best smartphone of the year 2013 is not Galaxy S4 or the Iphone 5 it's The One M7 ;) and the One M8 2014 is on his way to conserve that my friend :)

  • 1gb of ram is still good coz htc phone is almost no lag or not lag at all plus it has htc sense 6 am i right?

  • 4.5 Its the perfect size i agree. Its not to big and not to small.

  • 1 gig of ram ruined the phone.

  • these phone r d bomb

  • oh man! the display will be amazing. And 4.5 inch is a perfect size and fit my hands and pocket. I am going for this.

  • Same height than G2, crazy....and same price, double crazy !

  • I would recommend to go for Moto G with the same specs Only Cam having an issue in MOTO G. HTC mini 2 worst price 38000

  • The size is 4.5 inch... and they call it mini..

  • 1 gb ram seriously??

  • Buy boom sound speakers are :)

  • 4ultra pixeles 2.0bsi is much better camera than this and expensive also. Mpx arent all!

  • ur crazy, its not even worth Rs. 27k, it should be around Rs. 23k

  • I was hoping HTC could have trimmed the height of the phone down. I don't think phones branded "mini" should have total length more 5" (ideally 4.5") unless they have a very good reason. What it comes down to is this: do you want the best audio experience for your multimedia out of the box. HTC in this regard have no competition.

  • 470,- , more than 10mm and 1 GB ram?

  • You are still Better off with Motorola Moto G without LTE -- samespec and if you are going to spend a Little more than Motorola Moto G 4G is here with almost 100% equal specification. I dont know how much HTC sense is fluid, but I guarantee that Motorola is no way disappoint you with the budget tag. Software 5/5 Design & Build: 4.5/5 Durability: 5/5 Reliability 5/5 HTC is far away to overcome Motorola in this category of the smartphone.

  • It's tall and thick? Even thicker than flagship phones. Taller display with respect to its width is not good in browsing the internet specially if you want to view a desktop version in your phone. Turning landscape all the times is not good using in just one hand.

  • I don't see this phone as anything very different. Can somebody tell me why the high price tag.

  • Baaaaahhh,better stick with M7 or buy a new one,instead...looks good,but hardware is mediocre!

  • Yeah, HTC's phones is always overpriced. :)

  • babi.....htc wont do it...........i think this model will be a huge failer for htc if its price is more than Rs 27000 /-...(334)

  • True, because it regurgitates the same old Cortex A7 + Adreno 305 combo in a new body And if it doesn't....then it will remain sitting on the store shelves

  • Seems unlikely

  • 137mm ? That size for 5" screen

  • I'm sorry.. why the funk should I pay 470euros on this bs phone when I can buy a totally better phone that is 2 times cheaper??! - OnePlus One! Don't get me wrong, I love HTC. I own a Desire..

  • price should be below 15000 thousand....

  • If I was to choose a HTC phone, I will buy HTC One even with 20% less metal.

  • Price should be below 20k to grab the indian market.....

  • We should have some compact android phones which also have high specs... Like Xperia Z1 Compact.

  • Every Thing extremely perfect I was hoping it backed with 2GB Ram And this phone will be the best phone ever to me .

  • Wow, 2 times the price of Moto G and not a single advantage except for the camera maybe (and no, slippery and prone-to-scratches aluminium body is not an advantage).

  • What I hope as per HTC trends, its going to be launched around ₹35000, but at that price point anybody now can get HTC ONE DUAL version... which has every feature far better than this. So, this is just another flop MINI SHOW from HTC...

  • price should be under 20k otherwise just waste of money...

  • It is mini what you should expect? High end specs?

  • Same as Moto G.

  • it is disappointing... Such a shame... I was hoping HTC will go Sony way and release powerful mini version of its flagship.. Look at size of it! It is only slightly slimmer then original one! Same height and its ticker.. why its called mini? HTC I was really waiting for this one, I wanted to come back to Sense...

  • No gyro? also no dual SIM option? Is that correct?

  • nothing special at all, even the moto g lte is better than this, htc should release mini ones like sony released z1 compact. what should we do with 1gb of ram, make it at least 1.5 gb

  • Moto G 4G (^_^)

  • Such kind of phones must have atleast 1.5 GB RAM.

  • When this mobile is going release

  • Hopefully 13 mp camera of the One Mini 2 will be better than the M8. I'm currently using a HTC M8 and its camera is not quite good, but not too bad as well.

  • Yeah i totally agree with u bro..hope someone from htc knows whats our expectations are...if the m8 is a good phone, hope the mini 2 is the BEST for the price tag

  • well we hope that is the real htc mini but an NFC and image stabiliation components should be build in with a snapdragon 602a or better...we are tired of running cleaning apps to free the RAM!

  • Apps on any windows phone run smooth and render best interface experience, going through options in an app is always exciting, NOT BORING LIKE ANDROID IS. Windows is the best OS.

  • Yes, it works smooth with 512MB Ram, but the apps, the apps suck on WP. The apps are just badly ported, they suck. The apps ruins the WP OS. I'm a WP owner, and i know what I'm talking about... and I want to switch back to Android because of that reason.

  • no gpu???

  • Well if it is still 1gb of ram....at least put a snapdragon 602a in it...am i right guys????? Or even better put 1.5 gb ram with the 602a for more future proof...come on htc, its the marketing. True???

  • Android surely needs 2gb RAM, it works so slow in 1GB RAM, always hav to run app to clean memory and release RAM... and Windows phone works smooth even in 512 RAM

  • need 2gb ram

  • Instead of quadcore processor or 13 mp cam they could rather increase the RAM to 2GB. Android needs more RAM. If the official release has 2GB RAM then I am up for this phone ... looks much better than One 2 which is just ridiculously tall phone looking like a TV remote

  • As compared to the desire 816 the specs are almost same, this phone should be priced at 400$

  • Not exactly...kitkat needs less resources to work and sense 6...is as light as ever...of course the more the merrier...and going by htc,s philosophy of overpricing their phones..2gb should be there...

  • make 800 snapdragon chip, beats audio, temperature sensor and dual sim version too....

  • The specs are very impressive!! Can't wait for it to be released! Good job htc! I just hope the pricing is good :D

  • HTC should have gone for a 2gb RAM and then with a competitive price, this phone could have done wonders. 1 gb RAM is such a bummer :/

  • the only draw back of this phone is the 1gb ram which should be 2gb at least if the price decrease it would be a really good phone

  • True Sense 5 works great on my outdated Sensation, it outperforms GS5 in some lvls somehow. So Sense 6 must be even better.

  • o yeah.....WHO said that ??

  • Now give it... Full IRDA rx/tx Full FM rx/tx (yes transmitter too) POGO support with syncing NFC Fingerprint reader And barometric pressure sensor WITHOUT CHANGING THE SIZE! And we will finally have a device i want.

  • Now this appearance is more consistent upgrade. wish this was the One (M8)'s body.

  • Pricing this phone at anything above 350 would see it fail. The Z1 Compact can be bought for £370 and has much higher specs. The M8 mini looks nice but is a very average phone.

  • No nfc? Oh pls even xperia m have a nfc why this phone did not have ... epic failed

  • and you named phones with snap800 as a midrange or mini version???????!!!!!!!!! it is mini and every thing in mini range are excellent.even 1g of ram, because SENSE UI is the best and bug free and with no error.so 1 gig in htc works as 1.5 in other android phones.and other mini phones are like this. (please don't tell about z1,z1 compact is compact not mini).I appreciate htc for M8 mini, thats relay nice and amazing.

  • Doesnt it have beats enhancer??

  • Why not naming it HTC one m8ni?

  • this phone looks blessed but what is up with that long long outdated chipset, like at least snapdragon 800

  • we expecting......4.7 inch screen....and 4.7 gz quadcore prossessor

  • Am waiting for this phone...hope it will look nice as shown in picture...actually i want a beautiful phone with quality camera...When is it going to release??????

  • I think i will buy one specs ain't all that great but I'm sure it will be nice to have. I have a Samsung galaxy note 3 and this would be my secondary phone. I like the all metal design hope they keep it like the original M8. I like that it's going to have a 13mp camera that will be cool. It's gonna be my next phone if this is all true.

  • i dont think htc will follow low budget path here...i m sure it will be around 28k($500) :/

  • nice

  • I think The xperia Z1 Compact Killing it :) > But the design is better Than xperia Z1 Compact With aluminum body > but The xperia Z1 Compact So Great water prof & 2.2 GHs prosses & 20.7 MB camera Nice display Quality :) it's like a boss ♥

  • I prefer a 4" display android phone, and hTC can do it with its nice design. Mini should be mini not a larg one again.

  • for HTC 4.5 it is bad size because its gonna be like a 5" screen phone size. htc rule

  • It would be very nice, if it retains all the features of the M8 but in compact size, 4.5 inch is not a bad size.

  • cool phone will surely buy it but it should be less than 25k

  • I hope it will be smaller, something like Iphone5S, then you will have a beautiful phone in hand.

  • the htc one m8 is very large which make it ugly for my taste but this mini is very beautiful, and i think it is my next phone.

  • very nice and sexy phone like big brother

  • Then tell me why this crap will cost more then the Z1c? With it's flagship price tag HTC is definitely proclaiming it as a flagship.

  • yes its more resolutions, buts its still cheaper for htc than their ultra-pixel technology, and if it did't have anything for night images, its not gonna do well. But I hope this phone comes priced well

  • I think there is an error in the Htc Mini 2 specs, i mean Htc mini 2 will have a nano sim like the big brother

  • 1GB RAM is pathetic.

  • Actually this phones camera has a higher resouloution than its flagship, which means sharper quality images

  • Please don't demand too much. I know after sony launch the xperia z1c you think other smartphone manufacturer can impliment the mini version with same spec as their big brother. Nope. If you wanted mini flagship power go for z1c or just wait one mini 2 released. Okayyy. So be quite haters.

  • M8 is not compact and mediocre camera which I use for business purposes,I rather pick S5 than M8. M7 don't microSD slot and also poor camera with purple tint.

  • need snapdragon 600/800?? then get the m7 or m8 this is not a flagship phone..

  • Snapdragon 400 is the deal breaker.

  • Ultra pixels camera is better. NOT all are mpx.

  • The regular 13mpx cam is cheaper than ultrapixel tech camera. Check it.

  • Looks like a Moto G upgrade 3G -> 4G no microSD -> up to 64GB microSD 8GB internal memory -> 16GB Wifi b/g/n -> a/b/g/n/ac (dual band) Quad core 1.2Ghz -> 1.4 Ghz 5MP/1.3MP camera -> 13MP/5MP camera 720p video -> 1080p video mono speaker -> stereo Just wondering how much more expensive Mini 2 over Moto G.

  • Now that it has a 13 mp camera the price will be 699 DOllars without contract

  • it is preety good but what will be its price

  • You say all that , but yet htc sales is no where close to Samsung cheap boring design

  • HTC's is still a fresh and very beautiful design Samsung's is already dated, boring and cheap design no one is going to blame HTC here!

  • why not a 1.6ghz quad-core s. 400 and 1.5gb of ram?? i mean it's by no means slow but there's no future-proofing. other than that seems very interesting. hope it's initially priced below 400 euro.

  • I hope the dimension remains the same which kinda impossible :(

  • wow...amazing design

  • GPU? please...

  • shame on htc....same design. ...why peoples only blame samsung.

  • finaly,a 13 mpix snapper...

  • wow! nice design. I like it. :p
