I still have this phone since December 2014! It's definitely a great phone but now I get problems with the battery. Another downside is updating the phone, probably because it's too old. I've a custom rom installed with nougat and it runs smoothly however this rom gets no updates anymore...

Had this phone for about 2 years. For the price I couldnt wish for nothing more than what I get from this one. Cant complain much, only cons are battery life which can be better and also battery is not very good. Had to change it for new one after few months. Other problem is... My phone wont charge anymore. I think charging port is broken. And last think which was annoying me on this phone is that never ending chinese intro. But after all, I was quite happy with this phone. Best price - value ratio

Terrible camera! Can't focus properly indoor, not even in low light.......focus is often off, even tried MX camera which works the best on this phone over the built in camera app. I always have to overexpose 1 stop for outdoor to get normal lit images, else they are too dark. Compared to my Xiaomi camera, the Xiaomi camera is way way better, focuses much faster and accurate at a much lower price. Very disappointed! I already sent it back to the Aliexpress seller, but they said nothing was wrong, even I sent them the same pics taken with the Xiaomi. I never again buy a phone online without testing

The result: ALL VIDEOS (only mp4 format) HAD AWFUL AND ORRIBLE SOUND, impossible to heard, the video was ok but the sound was only noise and scratched sound! (for lucky, my girlfriend recorded song with his Huawei G700 and was perfect videos..). You can surely buy Nubia z7 max, but it costs nearly 21000 and has only 3 additional features - 1. 5.5 inch screen 2. 2.3 ghz processor instead of 2.0 3. Ir remote control. remaining things are almost same. I ve chosen z7 mini because for me 5 inch is sufficient, and merely diff between 2.3 ghz & 2.0 ghz. It only scores more in antutu. Now regarding your queries - 1. Battery - 2300 mah Li.po battery is sufficient for heavy work for 1 day. I ve connected my phone to wifi and downloaded movies via utorrent, it gave me around 10 hours. One day usage may be 2hours gaming, 3 hours video watching, 2 hours calling, 3 hrs wifi or net. 2. Yes like others phone it get wormed up, but not heated. Max temp checked via droidinfo apps is 36°c. 3. Camera of 13 mp & 5 mp is awesome. You will surely amazed by the performance. Flash is so powerfull like nexus. 4. Yes it has 16 gb of which you can get only 13 gb. Apps can be moved to SD also.

Overall: Great! But i have found some issues: -I ordered mine through a online store, shipped and delivered quickly. -I paid for it to come pre-ROOTed DON'T!!! All my issues thus far have come derived from there. the software mod came with a Chinese only language re-boot screen. (so i had great trouble updating rom's) After weeks of frustraion i eventually managed to load another ROM based on updated software(fixed by users) with a few tweaks and all my service and 4G related issues were fixed. some of the 3rd party ROM's are fantastic. Much better than the ZTE Official. As they are slow to be released. -I only have 1 issue left with this phone now and that is Youtube not working.(havent checked for further solutions yet) -Otherwise it is Lovely, Fast, Reasonable battery life, Good specs, Good Camera and Screen. Dual Sim Works Great. 4G is fast and reliable. Other Phones To Consider: Ellephone p6000/3000s (Near Half the price)

This mobile phone is really a bad purchase. Please, if you are thinking in buying one, think about it twice. I have had a very bad experience with it. Some examples: screen lock works very bad, if you click twice the button to unlock you will have to wait a lot in order to get it showing the content. It does not decide well when you want to have the screen black, for example, if you want to introduce a phone extension, sometimes you will not be able because the scree will be black while holding a phone call. Tethering does not work. A lot of apps crash without further notice. My previous phone had been a Motorola Moto G and I feel really disappointed with my change. This is not a mobile phone to pay 200-250�. I would not pay more than 100�. Please Nubia manufacters, if you are reading this, update the software as quick as possible because every day I get more angry with this mobile phone.

I had the same problem, you likely have to type in the APN (Access Point Name) of your provider.....in settings, go to Msim Settings. Click the SIM data card you want to use for your internet connection. Click on 'Access Point Names', at the bottom click on + 'New APN', then type in your provider internet APN under 'Name' and 'APN'

Almost all bands in mainland China you mean? Because otherwise it's very thin (yes it has band 7 unlike most Chinese phones but it's still not that impressive). It's a feature that you must root the phone, lose the warranty and risk bricking the phone just to have more than 1.5GB applications? It's really ret**ed that it's partitioned with an "internal sd card". Although it's even worse on the Z7 Max where you have 1.8GB free space for applications out of the 32GB space. That was not OK even in 2012. ZTE are really bad at software, Huawei and Lenovo are far ahead, almost everyting except maybe the photo software is crap and makes these phones not worth getting. Which is unfortunate since the specs are good even if the build quality is not top notch.

This phone is absolutely phenomenal. Almost all bands supported, 4G works on avg 10-15, with 41 MAX. Dual sim, FUll HD 5", great touch responsiveness, awesome camera software, possibility to repartition your internal memory so you have 7GB for applications, plus internal and external SD, not to mention OTB. It scores around 36,000 in antutu and it simply FLIES. The only HUGE disadvantage is the fact the battery cannot be removed (WHO THE HELL thought this one through????) but I do use it immensly so realistically 8HRs is max, of course NOT including playing games which BTW look awesome but then again, this is a top notch phone for half the price of HTC ONE M8 for example. I'm always picky about phones and this one is still awesome to me, I just wished the battery was removable but that's it. Highly Recommended!

This is a good phone. It is probably not possible to find a better phone without paying the double price. Battery time is good even if using the phone much. Camera takes good photos and has many options. WiFi connection works without problems. I use it all the time when having access. LTE 4G has good signal and works fine. Both sim cards can be used at same time. You choose in settings witch you want to use for surfing so you can switch fast. SD card gives extra space and works fast. The phone also has OTG. The file browser is easy to use moving files from one place to another. Firmware updates is coming thru air regularily. The sound gets very clear when using the phone as dictaphone or to record calls. GPS is very fast and finds signals easy. System has many choices and it is possible to change resolution on the screen, loudness and bass for the sound, split screen, change return key from right to left, dubble tab settings and more. LCD screen has good contrast. Fast CPU (can play Asphalt). Many choices for system language. User guide only in chinese. Plastic phone, but feels very nice to hold in the hand. In this price range it is a very good phone.

I have to say i am disappointed in this phone. I had high expectations for it but was let down. Interface: Apart from grammatical errors I came across in various menus and trying to open few some of the settings the processes just crash it is rather smooth while navigating. WLAN and Signal: Poor. Signal constantly disappears and handset needs to be re-booted to get the signal back. This is based on testing 2 ZTE handsets, so it would not be a bad SIM, as the SIM is currently used in OPO without any issues. WLAN receiver appears to be above average (the question is how long before it fails?) I am happy with the camera performance though. :D I honestly cannot write a decent review about this phone as I am really disappointed. I will however provide a decent review on One Plus One. Final Mark: 6/10

Am I the only one with a slow tranfert speed with micro sd problem ? I tried several micro sd cards, copying files to the card is very slow (300 ko/s for class 4) but copying files from the sd card is normal speed. Also, moving files from internal to micro sd card using the phone is normal speed. I also tried 2 cables to connect the phone...

Received my Mini on Monday. What an awesome phone, couldn't be happier. The only thing that worried me was battery life. After the first charge, the battery was draining VERY quickly. It used more than half the battery during only the morning and I didn't think it was going to last until the end of the day - very disappointing!! BUT I then uninstalled all the bloatware and system apps I didn't need/use plus I installed Greenify and WOW, what a difference! My battery now lasts TWO DAYS with moderate use, phone calls and internet browsing. Now it's the perfect phone!

I lol'd when I saw this question. Bought both at the same time. Loved both phones but ended up keeping the z7 mini. Why? Well this phone is much better looking. Also, the cell bands aren't supported that great in the US. Only got edge speeds with the honor 6 where the z7 can get lte here in the states. Also the features are much more rich and useful on the z7. And spec wise both are monsters. If u care about gaming the adreno 330 comes out on top over the Mali on the honor. Then there's the camera, both phones are excellent, loved my cam on my ascend p6, yet the z7 mini has more options plus OIS. So to me that wins. Z7 mini is my favorite phone I've had all year and I probably buy at least one New phone every 3 months.

Hello, How is this phone? Because my M8 is getting boring, i need some new stuff. So i have sold my M8 but dont want to spend alot of money anymore. In the past i had some quite xiaomi's phones/ oneplus one etc. So i know a little bit of the chines brands. Xiaomi is 3th biggest sellingcompany of phones of the world, so they are doing great. But because they dont support 4G FDD-LTE in the 1st batches. So thats why i dont chosen Xiaomi MI4. And the second option was Meizu MX4 , but its to big. I need a max-screensize of 5.0'' with great performance. so i foud the ZTE NUBIA Z7 MINI, but dont have experience with it. How is the build quality/performance/OS ? Because the build quality of the M8 is in my opinion the best build quality(premium) phone ever, but i know the Z7 mini is a plastic phone so know that but overal how does it feel in your hands? And the OS? MIUIV5/6 are great Android roms, but is NUBIA great with there support to???? are there community sites like Xiaomi/oneplus one haves. Or not???

Great dual sim phone with good performance and high quality. I got mine from chinese e-shop with they custom rom (unlocked rooted with google apps and added languages) everything is ok and working realy good only one little problem - the CWM recovery is chinese (with chinese signs which i dont understand and is difficult to translate). GPS module on this phone is realy fast - less than 5 second for getting fix inside building! :-)

I have it for 2 weeks and its awesome. I wont write here all the pros because they are unbelievable, especially the Camera and the phone Performance are top notch (also battery and game performance). It gets 38k on Antutu (tested more than a Galaxy S5) Downside is: I can't update the firmware (it says error) and I don't like the UI so I installed Nova but I had to install also dialer. It doesn't have NFC, and call quality is not very good (maybe it's the microphone or it just needs the firmware update).

There no glove mode for both max and mini, and dont think there any clone yet for these models. As for colonnello77, did you upgrade your firmware to the latest 1.42? The new firmware should improve the screen sensitivity part. I had no problem with my Max sensitivity

I guess you wont have much choice on the options, as if bought from sites such like oppomart or ali express, the phone is most likely an open package where most likely come with gapps and rooted Which unless you bought you phone directly from china site such like tmall, taobao, like I bought my Z7 Max, then you could look for sealed package, which you could choose to install gapps yourself through root or without root.

From OPPOMART it comes rooted. It also already has Google apps installed. As for being compatible in India I would assume so. It pretty much has all the major gsm bands and lte. Check with your provider what bands it supports. Thats how you find out!

I've had the phone a week now and its fantastic, great all around phone. Performance, screen, camera, design aesthetic all exceeded my expectations. The battery has been lasting a day and a half with heavy to normal use. I'm thinking the 801's power saving ability has definetly improved upon since the 800. I'm putting my Mi3 on the shelf. The phone is probably the 'smallest' 5incher I've owned and its extremely pocketable and hand friendly. As far as the stock UI I wasn't to fond of so I went with Nova Launcher which I normally do anymore. The features are what I like too, screen knock on, split screen, gestures yada yada. Def a solid device. Camera is fast and overall features and picture quality is some of the best.

I ordered mine from OPPOMART.com it came rooted and with Google apps. Great phone. Zte did a sweet job here, all the elements come together perfectly to make a flagship device. Some neat gesture features as well. I'm on day 3 of having this phone and because of overall style and performance I'm going to be putting my mi3 on the shelf for a while.

I personally dont own P7 so no idea of its sim layout design, but if its a dual sim phone, it should have work with dual sim with sd card if there a sd card slot. Majority phones sold in China are unlocked, unless certain operator tied phone, which usually is also unlocked, just network not supported. Phone sold in China will usually have few variants, which is TD (China Mobile), FDD/WCDMA (China Unicom) and CDMA (China Telecom). All phones sold in China by default wont have GAPPS installed, as you know yourself Google service is being ban such like playstore, which still could be access through VPN. If you bought your phone from shop, there chance seller already install GAPPS for you, unless you confirm that the phone package you bought is sealed. Good thing of Z7 series is it supports all 3 operators in China, which is why there no TD or WCDMA version like other phones such like Honor 6

Battery lasts for about one and half day of above average usage (whole time first SIM on 3G netowrk, checkign of e-mails, facebook, reading news). In normal usage I think it would last 2 days.

I actually travel to China about once every two months and the Huawei P7 I bought was bought in China directly from China Unicom. Completely unlocked and works flawlessly with Google Play Store "outside" of China. In China, and using this phone, the "network" doesn't let you access Google Store or Gmail. I have bought many phones in and out of China and my issue with the Z7 mini is the first of its kind. My only complaint about the P7 is that the dual SIM slot doubles as a memory card slot. So you can either have a memory card expansion or you can have two SIMs/numbers on the phone. Not a huge deal also is that the second dual SIM slot is a nano-SIM vs. a Micro SIM in the first slot, so I had to change one of my SIM cards.

Which show how limited you know bout chinese phone. Dont compare the P7 you bought outside of china to the same P7 sold in China as the 1 sold in China also wont have gapps preinstalled. And getting gapps install is kinda easy without even needed to root the phone

I does seem quite clear that they locked the phone and there doesn't seem to be a work around. However, I would say that this is limited to ZTEs sold in China. I bought a dual sim Huawei P7 as well, and have been using that instead. I have to say that the P7 is light, fast, flawless (so far), very cool in style and setup, right processors and camera etc etc. A very good option if someone is looking for a solid dual sim phone.

Keep googling till there is an official fix. For now i guess you have to use an alternate email app and get your apps via third party websites through your stock browser. Sorry to hear bro.

Tried everything! It simply saying that process com.google.process.location has stopped or play store has stopped and repeats and asks if you want to send a report. I may be crazy but it seems that ZTE locked it out of play store in China. I've had many phone in my time and many Android phones so I'm not a total newbie, trust me this is strange.
