all these times, it was great eventhough it is outdated etc..etc..But recently, it jumped out of internet n back to homepage for no reason each time i opened an apps..Does anybody know how to overcome this? Pls....Or i've to buy a new tab..hu..hu..

I just replace the screen on one of these today. It is very easy, cheap from internet, and there is a video on Youtube.

i purchased an acer tablet. it was working fine but the kids broke the lcd screen. i can find NO ONE who can fix it, not even the acer people. bah humbug

so i have the Acer iconia tab B1 711 and i am enjoying it so much even though its gulps my data..... my main concern is voice calling or skyping at least a friend tried to call me so it rings and i'm able to swipe to answer but then neither one of us can hear anything on the line but there are some weird alien screeching sound when u actually hear someones talking and up up with disconnected calls, now i researched all opinions and answers but they are not at all related to my issue . and having trouble finding my music stored on my mem card please help. Regards

My husband uses this model and it's been great up till recently when it's started to throw you out of the Internet back to the home page for no reason. It's really frustrating! Does anyone have any suggestions of what we can try to stop this? Thanks.

it works well for my needs.. only thing i regret is that you cant plug a keyboard in the usb slot.. tried a lot of advices but failed. the performance is slow and sound outlet is weak. still is cheap and that mattered to me. thanks

Not my favorite android device. I have two Samsung devices, a cheap phone and the lowest of there low end tablets. I have been using them to test apps I'm making, recently I was given the Iconia tablet from a relative and it's only good for video chats at home. there is a few minutes of good battery life. it's got a bit of a strange touch sense to it and you have to smack the screen to get it to take your input. it's good if you have a keyboard and it plugged into the wall. it's not a friendly tablet. I was convinced with it's thicker profile it would have some guts when I first saw it but it's performance is only on par with the cheapest samsung tablet. I recall buying an asus as well but died during it's first hour in my hands and was quickly replaced. I don't blame the manufacturer. I lay blame on the electronic stores that would buckle to a quick sale. it's always hard work getting a quality product for cheap. the Samsung was a bit more expensive and hasn't gone on sale any where close to the acer, that should sort of tell you the expectations of the Iconia Tablet. i just took every thing i had off the acer, I'm not going to use it any more. I have a camera on my laptop, no need booting up the Iconia to watch the battery die during skype calls.

i bought this tab about three months from now it is really good tab it never lags with me but you can deal with it as a secondary you will need a smart phone i only bought it for games , video , reading and face book disadvantages , battery is n`t good also angle of vision is n`t so good and the camera but except that i like my tab it`s good

I think it's because it is a tablet and normally used for multimedia streaming and facetime apps like Skype mostly. Not a camera as such.

I have just bought the Acer Iconia B1-710 for my wifes birthday. She has downloaded what she wants but when it came to trying out the camera, well. All you can take is selfies. What on earth is the point of that!

The problem with Acer is that they do NOT provide OS upgrades ever, I know from experience. You'll be stuck with the obsolete and bugged Android 4.1, 4.2 or 4.3 Jelly bean forever.

I bought one of these for my mom recently and it seems to work fine for the most part. Not so sure if the battery lasts for 3.5 hours as it says but it last long enough. Also, when I just turned it on, the screen would not swivel so I had to reset it.
