alcatel 7 - User Reviews

  • I've had EXACTLY the same experience! I could've written that review. I'm glad it's not just me.

  • This is the worse phone I have ever had, I absolutely hate this phone. Constantly freezes, it's extremely slow at any task. If I had to call 911 in an emergency I'd die waiting for the phone screen to appear. Everything is slow, slow, slow. Also goes to an app by itself when you're using a different app or just goes black for a minute and boots you out of whatever you're doing. Wish I stuck to Samsung. When I get to buy a new phone I will take great pleasure in smashing the shit out of this one.

  • I got this Alcatel 3 months ago and it's constantly freezing up, calling random people and overall it sucks. I would never recommend it to anyone

  • So I just found out the Revvl 2 Plus is actually called Alcatel 7. Couldn't find a site that had the phones specs until I went on Amazon and ordered a case. I'm like, cool haha. I was actually debating on ordering the Galaxy a50 until I compared the specs with the Alcatel 7. Good thing I'm stubborn because I would have spent $330 on a phone with slower performance. The Alcatel 7 is a really good budget phone.I wouldn't recommend it if you care about camera quality. The camera sucks. Overall, great phone.

  • people r entitled to express their opinions so stfu...seems like YOURE the one that needs some growing up

  • What phone is compatible with the Alcatel 7

  • I have had the Alcatel 7 and service with metro for about 3 weeks now. This is actually a replacement phone from the factory. The first one I got when I started service was defective and a black line appeared on the screen. This phone seems to be a decent phone for a budget Alcatel phone. The display is by far the most impressive thing about the phone with the battery life being a close second. I haven't taken many pictures yet but so far the pictures I have taken with the phone have been ok. Mind you I'm not a photographer so as long as the picture I took looks like whatever I took a picture of I'm happy. Lol. I have experienced forced kickout from apps and slow internet performance. But TBH I don't know if it's because of the phone, or if it's because METROs service just sucks ass. My guess would be its the latter. I went from a galaxy S7 to this phone and I gotta say I really can't complain about this phone. The s7 I was using was laggy as all hell and would freeze up on me all the time. And the battery was garbage. This phone, as long as the internet is working correctly, plays videos and games with no problems so far. All in all, considering this phone cost me 0 dollars, this phone is great! Being a metro customer on the otherhand, considering it cost me 107 to become one, the terrible internet service I get, having to deal with METROs customer service and answering system, and the lack of ANY corporate stores or contact information for them. Being a metro customer, way not worth it!

  • I really love this phone and I had it for almost a month a very great phone to have

  • I just got my new Alcatel 7 last night. I haven't really had the time to play with my phone as much as I would like to, but it seems like a pretty good phone so far. I've always had big phones and when my Blade Z Max crashed, this seems like a suitable replacement.

  • Well said!

  • A mobile company aren't allowed to exist because they don't make phones that are to YOUR liking? How about you 1) grow up, and 2) get out of this website, and take your childish, self-entitled, flippant attitude with you.

  • Wish this company would do the world a favor, and get out of the phone business.

  • I have a problem,my it blaster isn't working, and I just got the phone a few hours ago ,is there a problem I can do ,I need help please

  • It is not... 2.5GHz is good for A53 core!

  • Everyone is hating on the mediatek processor but fail to realise it's a hello. The Alcatel idol 5 runs an octacore mediatek with the hello p20 and it's raved as one of the best phones made by Alcatel. I love my 7. Yeah, it's cheap but you can't expect it to runs as good and as smooth as a s9 because it's not. It has it's problems but I have yet to have them happen to me. I love this thing and wasn't too bad to get it for free with port in.

  • Wow the processor is way too weak.

  • i love this

  • Very slow.....better after factory reset but still.....lol

  • "Hye", it's 2018 and not everyone plays games all day long on their phone. Android 8 and 9 work with 1G of RAM, and that's a fact.

  • Hye, its 2018 and your RAM needs to be at least 4GB. * drop mic *

  • Phone works pretty fast for me. Takes decent photos although with flash there's a little lag, nothing crazy. Battery life is incredible compared to my other phones. All day use at Disney World was proof. Only issue is the back screen turns off automatically after 15 seconds, no matter what setting it's on. Can anyone help? Do I have to get a separate app to manage this since it's pretty damn annoying.

  • I see a lot of ppl are displeased with the 7. I got the phone 2 weeks ago. Outside of Galaxy and punk ass I phone, Alcatel is a damn good phone. 130 dollars? Nigga plz, we winning. Only thing is the mute button. It's really in a bad spot. Other than that, you get what you pay for. To my surprise, I got a good phone hella cheap. Damn good phone... 1luv ppl

  • Terribly slow and laggy.

  • They say in it's spec's that they isn't any ir blaster, and on YouTube they say it have , and when I do a reach it has , what is really going

  • 4000mAh up time can depend on the chipset of the phone, screen size, what type of screen OLED vs LCD & finally what type of battery

  • Alcatel loves Mediatek

  • Just got this phone, better than I expected. I am waiting for root though.

  • I got the phone 5 days ago, It's been threw 2 Updates and about 2 reboots . this phone is so low budget fancy that it impresses me mostly. I havent found a stock phone 32 Gbs and over 10 megapixels with a 6 inch screen for around 130 rite out the Box Was more surprised that headphones or some other perk would be included . But all in all , doesn't glich to much between new pages ,best low budget phone I've come across in a good while.

  • This phone is garbage. I had the ZTE Zmax Pro before this and loved it. The Alcatel 7 boasts a bigger processor but freezes all the time changing between apps and force closes constantly. The claim to have the same size battery as the new Galaxy means nothing if it doesn't last the same amount of time, which is doesnt. Dies surprisingly fast for new phone. The 18:9 or 2:1

  • Just got this phone last week. The mute button is in a bad place, to easy to tap with face while talking. Battery dies kinda fast for a new phone. Speakers sound weird cause being at bottom. Some of the calls seem like a tunnel call. Too expensive for these problems. Cannot attach Gif to stock msgr messages. My pic was taken buying the phone by an Alcatel rep. Kinda wish it wasn't. Wishing I had waited.

  • It's $130

  • Mediatek MT6763T Helio P23 ??? Is it a joke ? If that phone has Snapdragon, I get it!!! Hum!!!!!!!!!
