I agree with the author who earlier said:"depending on the network the phone was intended for". As for the battery, mine lasted me an amazing 5 years & if I could use this battery for my new smartphone I'd transplant it like a alcoholic transplanting a new kidney!!! This battery in my Alcatel 1touch fierce 2 was by far the best I ever had ever. There are enough promotional freebie/s out there whereby you can praise the phone like it was smarter than the critic who "paid" for theirs! B4 u write off the phone listen to the author who penned the best statement 4 it earlier... The compensation is never evident at the time is it?

My Alcatel one touch Fierce 2 was my 1rst smartphone. It looked just like a Galaxy S4 & up but it worked 5 full years! The "memory warnings" came up but Google's Assistant rid the excess media apps or other unwanted,not needed apps that bombarded me with adds of more crap I didn't need...AOTF2 is the longest lasting phone that worked pretty much always. The battery charger portal would no longer accept a charge so I settled for a Moto E4 which has incredible features for a cheap price. I'm told cordless chargers are available if I could find compatible chargers that could adapt to my Alcatel. I found this info out "after" I purchased my Moto; isn't that always the case? The more expensive phones are almost a complete ripoff. You get the best deal with a $50-70 prepaid at almost any electronics store but if you have the extra cash and want to spend more for disproportionate extra features after around $120 then im not gonna judge.

Theres no way to stop the battery from draining. If th battery isnt calibrated properly in the phone's system software somtimes the battery meter will show an incorrect percentage because the phone calculats it by the voltage level over a period of time, so an older batery might need o be drained to almost 0 percent then fully charged a few times.. This should result in a more accurate reading. There are apps that can help with this but it might require rooting your phone. It depends on the phone model and software that came preloaded from factory.. This shoul not be a reason to write a bad review on this phone though. Especially since you dont specify any problems other than software availability. Maybe some software you used on your old phone wasnt included in google play as being compatible with your new phone. The way play store determines compatibility is dependant on several parameters most likely but i havent looked into it much lately so not sure

I had this phone it was very good at the time. The only thing that I see that goes wrong with them is the charging port. I used it for a couple of months and sent the phone overseas.

Internal memory is 4 GB but it is divided into 2GB for the android system and 2 GB for the user , so all those applications that do not use do delete or if can not be erased, then do disable . also you can do'' factory data reset'' and returns the phone software as it was new, but first save all your data , (pictures, mp3 etc.) to the pc or sd card , then remove the sd card and sim card and do factory data reset. will operate as a new

This is possibly the worst phone out there. I bought this about a year ago at T-Mobile. I don't think they even sell this in their stores anymore. I'm about to turn 14 in two months and this phone is a nightmare, so I'm getting the iPhone 6s for my birthday because of its far superior quality. In addition to this, the camera is phenomenal and the color options are amazing as well. Personally I cannot wait to discard this horrid device.

It sucks ,I used a iPhone 6 noticed big difference , and its geekbench 3 are terrible for 120$ ,and 300-320 for single core , 1000-1050ish for muilt core

I absolutely do not understand WHY the microphone ICON suddenly disappeared!! It was there approximately 2 months after I purchased the Alcatel One Touch Fierce 2, SUDDENLY.....GONE ! ! ! I have exhausted every person, places of business including METRO PCS, read dozens of FAQ's and NO HELP. Yes, I have Swyped, checked EVERY setting possible. I have not had any other issues with this phone whatsoever. Would love to know the solution to this FRUSTRATING ISSUE as I truly like this phone and refuse to purchase another phone over something that can be resolved by the one person that has the knowledge. Wow 10.0 on performance. AND I must say I agree. For the low cost this phone delivers. And for performance is almost half of what keeps me satifisfied. Memory, Looks, and battery life are also key. The battery life is not amazing, the looks are fairly decent and memory for the low cost is more then fair accompanied with a sd card slot. Nice Work.. thx
