alcatel OT-978 - User Reviews

  • does this have a front camera?

  • hey some's tell me that phone suport hdmi cable , its true?

  • I own the limited edition OT-979 - an identical phone but is the Hello Kitty style. It works fine and is quick, but the Android Market / Google Play application is missing. I hope to find a simple solution; I found a version of the app but it crashes. Otherwise, the other features are very good. I'll add that I've been an iPhone user for years, so my transition to Android isn't smooth, but once I get the Market app problem resolved, I'm sure things will be OK.

  • This phone is quite rare... my friend is good at rooting but hasn't found a software for this... I had my phine since October2012 for my bday..

  • Well...you can move the memory to your sd card... that's what I do and I have about 4 big apps Tweet Caster WATTPAD LINE KAKAOtalk And oh yes GO SMS Pro adobe reader :')

  • I haven't upgraded mine yet

  • Not dual core

  • are you able to root this device?

  • marketfix may solve not enough memory problem can be downloaded from google play or apk from net

  • still no updates... :(

  • got this phone 5 days ago. i only install 3 apps, then got msg that says low memory. and why i cnt make a video call from skype??? can anyone teach me...

  • got this phone for two days now.. I still have no clue how to root it after doing some extensive research... :(

  • Here's it's Specification this phone has the same type of HW as the Galaxy Y... The difference is, it is clocked to 1Ghz while the Galaxy y is 832Mhz... CPU: Armv6 BCM21553-Thunderbird 1Ghz (single core) Rom : 150Mb Ram : around 90mb used by the System and around 170 remaining for the user... by summing that up the RAM is about 260mb+... don't know why it didn't get an exact 256mb RAM :D Gpu: Broadcom VideoCore IV TouchScreen: up to five fingers Os: 2.3.7 Android ( Gingerbread) Just got the phone a couple of days ago... I still don't know if it is upgradeable to ics by reboot... 2.3 to 4.0 not possible using FOTA...

  • It's only 150 MB is usable as storage for apps?

  • Is it upgradeable to ics?

  • Does this have a dual-core or single only? What's the clock speed?
