alcatel Pop 7 LTE - User Reviews

  • Yes. If you read the specs, it also has a voice recorder & can place calls.

  • I purchased one that was refurbished to use as an entertainment hub...not trying to run NASA. Inserted a 32gb tf & working just fine. Watch tv, play music, play games & read the news. Not bad for $48. Not to mention, mine has an FM tuner, with the earbuds working as the antenna.

  • Does it av a microphone?

  • For a $150 tablet, you cannot expect much. But, it surpassed my expectation's

  • It's a $150 tablet... What do you expect? Lol

  • I can't get mine to work with any OTG devices either.

  • Does it do otg? I haven't been able to get it to do anything otg. I called Alcatel and they said it could, but I can't get it to work.

  • If you get the IME #, call or email TMobile. Ask them for the unlock code . When you receive it, take TMobiles Sim Card out, replace it with a valid ( maybe a friends Sim or a family member) Power it up, the screen will say invalid Simscard, and ask you to put a code in the space they give. And WHA-LA Put the code you received from TMobile and hita phone company you want.....P.S You will have to buy the Sim Card fromthenew guys, but it's only 5 .oo bucks...Good Luck

  • I kinda like the Pop7. It's not a 5.1.1 OS, where you can' t even upgrade or are so limited by what u do, because its outdated. So I downloaded google voice and dialer, put my phone number on voice and now I have a phabet or telecast, whatever. So, I am kinda Lovin Every Minute Of It! Anda it's FREE....Thank You T-Mobile. Now I just hope I like T Mobile..Or. In 3 months I,ll unlock it and go somewhere else. ( If U email TMobile and give your ime # and ask for the unlock code , it will unlock for you,,,,

  • The TN screen has horrible viewing angles in landscape, the processor makes for a anemic performance that's felt often, the tiny RAM makes for a crap multitasking experience and even detracts from single task performance, and the cameras perform horribly for their resolution. For its price, it's not a terrible buy if you know what you're getting into but I'd still strongly prefer something with a Snapdragon 410+, 2-4 GB of RAM, 16+ GB of storage, an IPS or amoled panel, and a AT LEAST a not garbage front facing camera for video chatting. Honestly, Alcatel could have delivered every one of my preferences in the same package at the same price and still made money.

  • Is this available anywhere unlocked? The Downtown Portland (OR) T-Mobile store told me I wouldn't be able to unlock unless I signed up for T-Mobile service and kept it for a minimum of 45 days. I'm trying to find a cellular tablet that I can use with my Google Project Fi account.

  • That time will come, just like most devices with 1GB RAM are sold at cheaper price now than how it was then. But you must realize there's also a market in which people doesn't demand much from the specs, but need a device right now. Samsung Tab 7" tablets are a typical example of that.

  • We are in 2016 and this phone has only 1 GB RAM and 5 MP rear camera. In today's technology life we need to have at lease 2 GB RAM and 13 MP rear camera.

  • 1gb RAM?? Wake up Alcatel !! It's 2016..
