It’s not true. I can do nearly almost everything on my ipxr. I can download everything by using Documents app plus there are so many apps and games are only available on ios such as BurnInLab,fly and many more. Also I can use pages an keynote to do my assignments on the go without my laptop and it’s all for free without any limitations in editing, not only that I can convert them to pdf and other files with ease. Next, iphones have best video recording than any smartphone because all things will be recorded so smooth

The 9th clause and the 4th clause are the same in your list. Apple actually just come close to other phones in the clauses you wrote. It is apple now that is following in android phones' footsteps. The time has changed. The other phones have easily noticeable narrower bezels around the screen and some of them are even notchless. Apple should have fixed these two too before asking for this price. Also the other phones have much faster charge speed that Apple's is considered a normal speed nowadays. I mean you pay the most for a phone but it still has shortcomings when compared to other phones in the market. I accept that Apple is unbeatable in the performance of its chips. But still ios is a cropped down OS when compared to the capability of Android by using which you can do everything. But it has always been like this. Apple phones have higher performance but the things you can do are limited. So the higher performance just does not justify the shortcomings and the price. If I can buy nearly 3 Xiaomi flagships with the same price, people just should not expect for iphone pro models to be sold.

You didn't say that iphone 11 pro max was one of the examples. You didn't even say that nobody would buy it at the launch of iphone 11 sales. If you know the trade in program. You know that you can trade your old iphone for a new iphone. Of course it's not available on launch yet because apple hasn't even started the program! If you think apple didn't innovate. The battery life of 11 pro max is incredible. It lost for me 2 days. I am using it for the past 3 weeks from the day 1 of launch in india. The camera is also incredible.

I don't own max, but normal pro. Battery life is incredible, lot better than my old X. System performance top notch, no lags, super smooth, no heating issues. Camera is crazy good, best in the business, even in low light it makes really detailed and sharp photos, i was really surprised by the results from low light and things would only get better with deep fusion.

oled isnt more efficent, it uses so much more enegry when displaying whites but perhaps when watching videos or films or just using the phone, on average the apl wont be so high that the oled efficency will be close to lcd

I am not an iOS or Android fan. I just want to be objective. But this will actually let you know how iPhone fares with other Android phones and vice versa if they actually have the same amount of RAM. If iPhone 11 Pro Max right now has 4gb of RAM and its already this good, imagine if it has 12 gb of RAM now? What do you think? If Any Android phone right now has 12gb of RAM and its this good, imagine it running with 4gb of RAM now? So if you put the two having the same amount of RAM, iOS trumps Android. It may be not in reality, but I am just giving you a good picture if the playing field is the same. My point here is you cannot compare an iPhone with any other Android device, companies just made them to be different in some ways. Apple sucks at not giving us more RAM to run more tasks in the background. And I HATE them about it. But saying that Android is better because it has more RAM is a joke. Had to turn on and off airplane mode then internet is up on my iphone, this is really annoying and a bit frustrating. You make me laugh funboy, that thing only matter if you got huge panel let say more then 1m so you can compare 1080 to 4k and 8k but for such small device 5-6 inch putting 4k display and 90hz powerful soc and graphics will drain the battery in 30 min, why p30 pro is using 1080 resolution? I got the Note 10+ and this one as an upgrade from my XS Max. Visual changes on the iphone are hardly noticeable especially having the phone on a case. But, the extra camera, better photography options and especially the noticeably increased battery life did it for me. Samsung has a more pleasing - aesthetically - result but still Android OS is behind in terms of OS applications and apps. Apple has locked a lot of its consumers because of the iOS, the polished environment iOS offers and exclusive iOS apps like Omnifocus that develop around the Apple environment.

I do not care about marketing. I have seen many 500+ ppi phones in my life, and it is easy to pick up individual pixels on most of them, partly because of the subpixel arrangement they are using. If that quote about 4K really is from displaymate, then they lose all credibility anyway. 4K has about 4 times as many details as Full HD. Many phones are able to record in 4K, but it is impossible to watch all of the detail in the video on a non-4K phone. Claiming that there would be no visual benefit in 4K is ridiculous. Obviously displaymate is not independent and they are biased.

No, it is not. First of all, as far as I know, displaymate barely reviews any smartphone screens apart from iPhones and Samsung, what makes their display rankings kinda ridiculous since iPhone 11 Pro Max screen is manufactured by Samsung aswell anyway. Secondly, I do not care what they say because obviously the iPhone 11 Pro Max display is not the best. There is a huge notch. You can easily pick up individual pixels with your eyes because of low ppi. It is impossible to watch videos in legit 1440p because of low resolution. Moreover, the colors look washed-out when compared with the competition, meaning that the iPhone 11 Pro Max is in my opinion not really taking advantage of OLED technology, yet still the screen is suffering from PenTile matrix arrangement and pulse width modulation. For me, the three best displays on the market right now are: Sony Xperia 1 (4K resolution, 10 bit equivalent color depth) OnePlus 7 Pro (1440p resolution, 90Hz screen refresh rate) Asus ROG Phone II (1080p resolution, 120Hz screen refresh rate)

The best phone currently you can get is the Iphone 11 pro max, the display is really gorgeous and the processor A13 will remain the fastest, the battery is really good for me as very heavy user can’t manage to drain in one day, speed charge is more than enough 18w is perfect, for the maximum performance of the battery the slowest impulse charging is the best, more speed lowering battery life that’s proven, ios is the king with ram management and everything just works, the camera is really improved over previous models really good photos and video is simply uncomparable to any phone. In my country Galaxy note 10 plus 256gb is 880€ while iphone 11 pro max 256gb is 1600€, All the people saying bad things probably never used iphone, try it for a week and let me know if you still want android.

If you think iPhones slow down after 2 years it's clear you've never used one. iPhone 6S, a 2015 phone, has the latest iOS version and is still very speedy. The closest thing on Android would be the OG Pixel and Pixel XL from 2016 that got the update to Android 10. To match the 6S, assuming it'll get iOS 14 which history shows it probably will, the OG Pixel would need to be updated Android 12. It's pretty obvious that won't happen given what Google said about the length of their software support. Literally the only case when iPhones noticeably slowed down after an update was when iPhone 4S got iOS 8. I'd like to remind you that it was a 2011 phone, a time when any not-flagship Android phone was so slow it was borderline unusable. Even then the non-Nexus/Pixel flagships got maybe a year of updates way after the new Android version launched. Something which still hasn't changed with few exceptions e.g. OnePlus, Essential and Nokia which seem the ONLY Android OEMs interested in relatively fast updates and supporting older models. If you're referring to the slowdown due to battery voltage deteriorating - they can't really fix that with a software update. Shame on Apple for not letting the user choose not to be throttled but they changed their policy after people voiced their concerns so they slightly redeemed themselves.

The notch is what it is. Yes it could be smaller, I think everyone can agree on that. What I will say though is I had the iPhone X which was the first Apple handset with the notch and it took a few weeks to get used to but generally you don't notice it with every day use to be honest. I now have this handset and again, i'm used to the notch and don't really notice it at all.

I don't buy into the whole apple eco system thing but I know and appreciate when a technology is good and likes to acknowledge it. Now having said that, I don't think the price is justified. Good God so much hate for iPhones. i am lifelong samsung user but got an XS Max last year as a gift and then i just fell in love with apple ecosystem. poeple saying it should have 12 gigs of ram must go and see performance benchmarks. its OS is so optimized with its hardware that 4 gigs of ram performs better than 8 or 12 gigs of Android. i have note 10+ as my daily driver but just bought the latest iPhone since the apple watch, airpods and iphone integration is immpossible to match by any company and i use apple pay since i leave all my bank cards at home and my wallet is lot thinner because of it. Dont hate on a brand if you dont have it or cant buy it. start from an older iPhone and m sure most of you will change their opinions about iPhones.

Thats your opinion. I got the 11 Pro 512GB but a relative bought the 11 Pro Max 64GB because he never used more than half the storage on his old iphone which had 128GB storage. PROS: ( comparing to XS max) ——— - Faster download speeds comparing to iPhone XS MAX and even 1.6 times faster in download speed than on galaxy s10plus , based on 10 simultaneous tests on T-Mobile network using this phone an my friend's galaxy s10 plus. - Much faster catching LTE signal when going from no signal to signal zone like from subway tunnel to a station ( takes on average 3 seconds to catch a signal ). Finally the same like Samsung. - Faster in opening phone menus even when windows are closed (finally !) - Some apps open much faster and pages within those apps load much faster , but only some apps. Regardless, this is probably attributed to iOS 13 ( will have to see if XS max with iOS 13 opens those apps faster or not )

I got gifted the iphone 11 pro, it costed way too much i can agree on that, i visited this site to see if there were some opinions about it backed with some knowledge, didn't find any but still i wasn't disappointed. You guys are very funny, most people comments the features of the phone without having ever touched one of them, it is blatant, people talking about fingerprint scan on a phone that has 3 front cameras to give you a face id that now works finally flawlessly and way quicker than the fingerprint sensor, but you guys got no idea about that, talking about ram when you have no idea how much the two os behave differently on memory management, or about battery when you don't consider oled and 7 nm technology behind the soc or once again the os that doesn't strobe evry 5 seconds for signal draining battery and seriously kills or halts background processes going on, but you guys don't know that, or do not consider that, and this makes you very naive on the operative system which is leaps ahead of android in terms of stability and resource management. I upgraded from an iphone 6s that was still on point in terms of performance, lasted 1 day with half the battery of the 11 and without ever changing it personally i wouldn't have updated if i could have chosen, but this doesn't mean that i find the new phones disgusting. They are pricey, we can repeat that altogether for years and agree on that, but if you want to know my personal opinion if i had 800 euros to spend on a phone i would buy the 11 myself, not the pro version, but the base 11 version price tag IS still pricey we agree on that but not as much as you guys might think. I've never been an Apple fan, but this phone is exceptional in so many ways. Its display is among the best in the market in 2019 and so are its cameras and build quality. Its CPU, GPU and battery performance is the absolute best in any 2019 phone so far. The large notch will always remain the same eyesore as in the times of the iPhone X, and the camera arrangement on the back is definitely not the best looking. However, these are nitty-gritties and one can live with them just fine. This is the first iPhone to take its potential owners so seriously.

I was and I'm still an android fanboy because of the customization and the fact that you can do whatever you want to. For example, I got the camera app from Pixel phones and I have night sight (which works AMAZING, it looks like I have a new phone) + that great enhanced HDR. Btw, my phone is Samsung Galaxy S8 exynos model. I like it and it works like a charm, is basically as fast as it was when I got it and the display is A M A Z I N G, one of the best out here but I hate the fact that we get only 2 android versions and not all the features from the next year flagship phone. For example, my stock camera doesn't have night mode, while M30 (a s**t low end phone) have that feature...anyway, I think I will move to the apple eco system. Yeah, I know...no customization...and what? the performance is amazing and it gets better and better after every IOS update. A little expensive though but apple is moving in the right direction. Congrats!

from my point of view Apple lost its edge this year with iphone 11 and 11pro: - no USB-C - no G5 - no real improvement in durability (IP68 rating, fall protection) - really heavy in comparison to Galaxy S10 (ca 150g) - no real improvement of display dpi - I really dislike the design of the backside (protruding lenses, massive unsymmetric, no flat surface) I really hope Apple presents more attractive and competitive phones next year...

The thing is Apple is more optimized. While more RAM, CPU speed, etc. will definitely help Android phones with future-proofing, iOS is just so optimized that it doesn't need that much stuff. Benchmarks are a more accurate way of telling performance, but specs are good for future-proofing.

Apple don't know the meaning of the word Innovation - 4GB of RAM :D - 3500mAh battery. (I don't care that iOS has great efficiency because however good it is it still can't compete with a phone that has 500mAh+ more) - still big notch, and no QHD display (you might say that the notch has all the technology for the Face ID so ok, but i don't think it's worth it considering almost every other 2019 flagship has a close to bezel-less display). - And of course, even though it has all of these faults, it's still the most expensive phone of 2019 (Exluding folding phones, that's something completely different) Please don't reply to this saying, oh why do you hate Apple so much, because i know i'm an Android fan and this is what i do :)

I'm sorry, but the iPhone notch is HIDEOUS. The first time I saw the iPhone X, I couldn't believe they would release something so damn ugly. Now it is 2 generations later and that damn notch is still ever present. I tried to like it. I used an iPhone XS for 2 months and I just couldn't get over how jarring and ugly it looked everytime I picked up the phone. As so many other brands have shown, it is entirely possible to release a phone without a huge hideous notch, so the fact that Apple, the company that used to lead the way in design and innovation, is releasing such ugly designs and charging premium prices for it really baffles the mind. Guess people will just buy anything with an Apple name on it. Watch them release an iPhone 12 with no notch and you will be remarking about how beautiful the phone is. Everyone knows it will come eventually, this is just Apple cashing in on outdated designs as they always do for as long as they possibly can.

Now that the rear glass doesn't take a $600 repair to fix it's unfair to say Samsung is more reliable. To be honest. I think GSM is wrong. They are saying the 11 has 4GB and the Pro has 4GB. It has never been the case. The biggest model always had 1GB or 2GB more. So it might be 6GB. We probably will not know until the benchmark tests come or someone takes the actual thing apart.

If they had included a fully functioning MacOS system similar to the Samsung Dex kind of thing, it would have been their last chance to kind of have a chance on the smartphone market. But without micro-SD card slot, without bluetooth sharing among different phone devices, with(in) including an ugly notch, without enough storing-space like the Note 10+ has (1.5TB), it's like they dug their own grave. I think Jony Ive, Apple's main designer leaving Apple to form a new company could have been a distraction resulting in this ugly iPhone. Though I am a Samsung phone owner, I rarely found any phone that could compare to the beauty of Apple phones. This time I am just disappointed. It was always a treat to look at apple products. Dim, I honestly I agree with everything you've said. Back when the iPhone X came out, the design was "revolutionary", and many loved it. But that was back then. Since then, Apple hasn't changed the design of their phone designs for years. In 2019, some of the designs are totally unacceptable. Apple is still keeping the massive notch when most phones have moved onto flip/under screen cameras, and Apple hasn't done anything about their notch for years. The new camera layout is hideous. Apple is getting memed for all their product designs, like the Mac and Cheese grater computer and their $999 monitor stand. And now this hideous camera desgin. Apple has gone downhill since the Iphone Xr, and I think this trend is yet to continue

Could not believe What Apple Announced. First week I was waiting for lower weight. The Iphone Max own is 208 gram but now new one even more 226 gram. It seems like Apple go in one direction every year up and up. They not focusing like others to lower the weight. The Max package look much nicer than iPhone Pro. I own a Note 10+ but I will say that Apple has never competed in the "specs" game (beside's their cameras). The thing is we need to remember that the ios operating system is MUCH lighter/smaller trimmed down code in comparison to Android. So the iPhone has never needed as much "power" as Android devices to run their software efficiently.

I boughtbiphone since 5s, 6s. Passed the 7 and 8, becasue the design is look like the same as 6. And then i bought the X. When came the XS and XS max, the design is also the same as the X. And then came the 11, 11 pro, 11 max pro. Only added one camera, and the design still looks like the X. I dont find any reason to upgrade to 11. So i wont upgrade my iphone untill 2021 when 5g is a stable network. Note that i also android user: mi 5, mi 6, mi mix 2s. Galaxy S6 Active, S7edge, Note 8, S9, Note 9 and S10+. Although Apple has dwindled (or even recessed) in the hardware department, Apple seems to be focusing more on the software side for the iPhone. I think Apple is using its physical appearance to keep things look new while the software is what really changes between each generation of iPhone.

Others that came after it perfected it by removing the notch and the camera pops up or flips up but we must care about the first one. This is Apple we're talking about. The very Apple that created basically a Mini XBOX Kinect on a phone that is comparable to a ToF camera. That big module and the strive for an all-screen look is the reason why a notch is there. So why are you so angry? Just don’t get it. The notch has clear purpose and is well integrated into the system unlike any of androids version. All my banking apps unlock with just a glance, whereas due to androids fragmentation some don’t even offer fingerprint scanning and asks for passwords...how antiquated is that? Passwords also populate by just looking at the screen. Its all part of the customer experience. This is what iOS is all about, it all just works.

Hahaha..there's nothing wrong in buying products PURELY to show off their social status. Apple is not only a PREMIUM product it is a LUXURY product. No they're not in the same league as those ghastly looking Android Vertu phones which are crap in gold wrapping, since in the end they use the same OS as some of the cheapest smartphone on the market. iOS is LUXURY as they only cater for the higher end market. notch is necessary. There's no camera on that side only. There's a lot of sensors. Also the pop up camera looks very cheap.. Im an android user but I like it.. 240 fps video recording.. Its super. You can make wonderful slow motion videos.

Amazing device but the huge notch in 2019 is unacceptable for a $1200 flagship. iOS is superior to Android in every way but I'd still rather get the 7T Pro for half the price and truly bezel-less design when it releases this month. But if Apple went with pop up camera or a small punch hole like Note 10 and a under display fingerprint scanner the 11 Pro Max would easily be the beast device of 2019.

This phone has yet to be announced or released, but if this phone is exactly what these specs make it out to be, this phone will be utterly disappointing. Compare this phone to the iPhone X released 2 years ago, and the specs will speak for themselves. Aside from the chipset, a bigger battery, and an ultrawide camera lense, what else does this phone offer that can justify the price gap between a $600 iPhone X (probably $500 after iPhone 11 release) and the estimated $1100 - $1400 price tag of the iPhone 11 Pro Max. And that's just a comparison to another iPhone. Put this phone against Android phones such as the OnePlus 7 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 9T, Galaxy Note 10+, etc. and it will continue to be torn apart by these phones. I honestly can't understand how the Apple ecosystem can even excuse this phone's lack of quality/content. I'm not bashing this phone, I just don't want consumers to settle for less just because it has an Apple logo on the back and it's a "new" phone. I hope this phone becomes more than what the specs make it out be because at $1100 - $1400, that's robbery and people deserve more in 2019 going into 2020. You can do better, Apple.

I'll be annoyed at Apple fanatics who know pretty much nothing about their favourite brand which is a majority of them. They're gonna call it the 11, not the XI, did people (including Apple) forget how roman numerals are supposed to be pronounced. I cringe when people say X, XS and XR as the letters themselves.
