I haven't had that problem with my s9 plus. But my galaxy tab A is having that problem. When I press to update all apps it comes up download pending and keeps pending until I stop it and try it again. I had to update one app at a time. So l did what you did and now it's working fine:)

Right! I'm having problems on both so plus and s10 plus. I have to keep downloading my themes, wallpapers and icons pack it started happening yestr again. I'm get really annoyed with this problem. I've went through my apps to check if they are causing the problem. Now il have to bring both phones to Samsung centre again. They reinstalled software in so plus months ago. Now it's happening again. I rang them today and they said to bring both phones down to get them to reinstall software in both phones. I've tried googling about this problem. But can't find anything. I have to keep clearing caches in galaxy themes. Works for a while then starts again. PF !

So recently i cant able to update & download the apps in play store from a week, I tried to update/download apps even through Wifi but It couldnt work, it's just shows download pending, Even I cleared the cache and I allowed all the permissions to the play store and tried to reboot/switch off my phone still no progress. Then I decided to the disable the play store and enable it again then finally it worked:)

In my case it was very different as my phone came with Android 8.0 Oreo and i waited for like 2-3 days to receive a One UI update notification and it said nothing apart from the "Software up to date" . So as i've already mentioned i did the following and installed it but now it says "Unsupported OS , visit a service centre" . One dude said that his s7edge was the same even in a worse condition as it came into the service centre with a blue screen , so i'll tell them that sth with the update got wrong , show them my warranty and hope that everytning will be fine .

I like rose platinum simplicity at it's best, and the other one is rose gold & diamonds that is legit with heart insignia. I remember I used themes when I I bought my first phone nokia 5233 I used to download different type of themes one of my favs were harley davidson's original logo and other one Corvette C6 racing edition, I even created my own customized themes online that time but after step in android my love wallpapers get increased:)

Goodness so many. One of my favourite ones I use alot is called rose gold diamonds ( video Edition) there a free one I first got with s7 edge called rose platinum. But I've so many others. I like Lilac chrome video edition which goes with my lilac s9 plus. Few more Lilac ones. I like to change my themes every week:)

Sorry s10 plus is fine now. Its s9 plus got problem with my themes uninstalling. They are all my paid themes that I bought. I can see them all. Just have to keep downloading them. So I'm gona have to take it down 2moro again. They said it could be software cliche problem. Last time they reinstalled firmware. But once updates for apps came through the problem started again. I don't know..... it's very annoying...

Since updating my s9 plus to pie all my paid themes keep uninstalling. I keep having to go in and download them all over again including wallpapers and icons every day.. I rang samsung centre to explained to them about this problem and they said to bring it down as it could be firmware problem. So il pop down on monday to get this problem solved. Now few days ago the same thing has started on s10 plus. But not as bad as s9 plus. Its baffling as to why this is happening.....

Like I said the technician whom I showed my s7edge used the Odin for installing software infront of me and when he failed to do so then I took my s7 edge to service center and I told them that by mistake I made a hard reset my phone without removing my biometrics and Google id, they took my phone, fixed it and upgrade into nougat as well so it worked in my case. Yes kies is also good medium to update the phone.

By using Odin you have void your warranty. So they will charge you. Why didn't you check for update using smartswitch or kies? Or just wait as not everyone gets monthly updates same time. Some get it quicker than others.

Showing to the unauthorized technician was my mistake it was a lesson for me since then I always trust the samsung service center and let me tell you one more thing there are some people including me who didnt get the September update, all we did was wait and then finally we got our update on October so it's better be safe then sorry.

I also have official warranty and I hope they'll make the same comprise with mine and i won't pay as well . Okay let me tell you about my experience, when I bought s7 edge, I wanted to reset my phone due to some reason but i made a blunder i didnt removed my biometrics and google ID before doing hard reset. When I did hard reset then I noticed then my phone messed up and I cant able to make google I'd again i showed my phone to an unauthorized technician and he tried through Odin to install the software but he failed then I took it to Samsung service center my phone was under warranty that time and they install and update my software into nougat without a penny.

Ok but in my case as i've already mentioned i have downloaded the software from inthernet via Odin . I heard that downloading from inthernet voids your warranty . I have a 2 - year official warranty . Will the service centre make a problem and for example make me pay the repairs and if yes wil it cost a lot ?

S9 plus recently release the security patch and it is available now for everyone, if you cant download the update manually then you should show your phone to the authorized Samsung center if it's under warranty they will do it for free in a minutes, Dont try other things which gives you nothing but regret

So long story short - I've recently bought a S9+ but it couldn't update to the newest version of Android , it said "Software up to date" so i've decided to download the latest Android Pie from SamMobile with Odin and the download was succesfull . The phone works fine but when i went to check the "Update Software" section from settings it said "Current version isn't supported . Visit a service centre" Does anybody have an idea what to do ? I was thinking of sending it to a authorised Samsung service centre but i'm not quite sure about it ...

For me changing wallpapers is like decorating the phone from inside so that it looks good and gives you positivity, I love collect wallpapers and I have right now I have over 10k wallpapers(I know sounds crazy) and all are amazing and have high resolution landscape, abstract, paintings, beaches, sunsets, cars, spiritual and what not every picture has it's own value

I can completely understand your frustration you bought a theme and when there is another version of android comes those themes won't work and the designer dont even help you or give you any solution, all you do is to uninstall that thing and buy the same updated theme again which is not legit..but it's okay if people gives you a strange expression about your themes coz there are few people who dont even change any theme or wallpaper since they bought their phone

That's very true. I totally agree with your comment. I thought they would have give me a voucher for the themes they cant fix. But they wouldn't do it. I've sent emails. Some answer and some don't. So I've stopped following some of these designers. I've some lovely themes that are now useless. I've emailed for update for them. Get no answer. I'm a girl. I like rose gold themes. Pink etc. That's just my personal preference. But yes they should keep them updated. I've had to buy the same themes as they are selling the same themes but they are updated. But wont update the same themes that I bought of them. Confusing?... Just frustrating I'm not talking a few themes. I'm talking over a hundred themes. I know some would say why? But like I said I like to change themes and live wallpapers every week.

My apps I'm using get updated. But the paid themes take months to update to work on new android upgrade. I've apps from nougat also and they have been updated. But frew didn't and they were useless. Some wouldn't work. Yes I agree When I buy themes it's up to the designers to update them. But some wont do it. So I've lost them after paying for them and cant get refund. They don't do refund which is very annoyingl. So I'm gona have them same problems with android 10 coming out. I know they are only themes. But I like to customize my phones.

The way you gaved your phone to your friend seems that Samsung went under your skin, I feel that if you paid for themes or other applications then it's the responsibility of the app developer to provide you updates on time so that you app won't glitch after new android update, in my case I bought an app on play store when I was in nougat and till now my app works fine coz they roll out the updates on time so that it work smooth

Some difference between the two. S10 plus less bezels. Slightly bigger screen. Lighter to hold. Three camera's. Good for selfie and taking photos. More camera features. Got update for s10 plus. Added slow motion in selfie. Power sharing which I like. Comes in handy if s9 plus battery is low. 8gb ram. S9 plus I still like. But s10 plus is good to. Nice display. Never notice the selfie camera on screen. I know it's hard to believe. No led notification . Have to use edge lighting for emails, mgs, whattsapp etc. So I don't miss led notification. Performance faster at opening apps. Go on YouTube and compare the two.

No. I.wont try beta. My phone will be ruined. I tried it with s9 plus and was awful. Had to end up buying another s9 plus and give the one with beta pie to a friend. But I didn't know at the time samsung would put oreo back into it until official pie update came out. But all my paid themes which I have a lot of didn't work. Had to wait until they got updated and some were rendered useless.

I turned brightness to 75%, no need for freezer anymore, but colors are messed up, but when I play an mp4 video, brightness and colors are normal and great, same with jpg pictures all great. Only with the phone UI (user interface), whatsapp and similar things, colors are messed up and brightness is low. Very strange issue.

My Samsung Galaxy S9+ is dead, or almost. Not an overheating problem, and rebooting changes nothing. The screen comes to life for 1/2 a second and goes black, except for a few lines on top of the screen. Get this, when I put the phone for 5 minutes in the fridge freezer, yes the freezer, the phone works normally with the screen all lit normally for 2 minutes then the screen goes black again. The screen is not the problem, and I don't think it is overheating because 2 or 3 minutes after I take it out of the freezer, screen goes dark and the phone is still quite cold to the touch. Very strange situation indeed! Anybody experienced this with their S9+ and is there a fix or should I send my phone for repair? Thanks.

The phone will be 2 years old in March next year and so i think it will get monthly patches till then atleast and android 10. ALTHOUGH this was their first device with project Treble which makes updates easier so Samsung should try for android 11 as well as that would improve it's reputation of small support cycles as compared to iPhones

Not happy with the phone, it is advertised as IP67 but I have to wrap it in a paper towel and place it in a plastic bag when I take a bike ride. Otherwise the condensation or sweat that gets on the phone causes it to go into a reboot cycle for a few days. I contacted Samsung about this and they had noting to say. I also have an Gear s3 frontier and found that the Bluetooth needs to be disabled before tracking a ride. If it is not disabled the watch tries to connect to the phone and when the signal is lost the tracking fails. Samsung uses pictures of people excising, but after a year of using the phone the only test it must pass is the couch potato test.

Thats not true. It will continue to get monthly updates and with s9 plus getting android 10 it will still to get monthly updates. Why would they downgrade s9 plus with it only being not even two yrs old. 2018 til 2019 is 1 year. Ive only owned it since 29th november 2018. That doesnt make sense.

According to Samsung upgrade policy they might have downgraded S9+ monthly security update policy to quarterly update policy. I may be wrong, but if S9 plus not get October security update, then may be we will get update policy on quarterly basis. Apart from above Android 10 update is in place for this device

No it hasnt happened on s10+ after update.it was my video player needed updated. Only s9 plus some users are having few problems after september update. S10+ no problems with september update! At least s10+ got september update with extra features in camera. Unlike my s9 plus still no update. But after reading about it i would rather wait until its stable for s9 plus. I guess it was coz of the bug there in chrome update which cause you inconvenience but maybe they will fix that by issuing next update for chrome, and also I dont agree if someone said that it occurred coz of new camera update patch its irrelevant but anyhow glad to hear that it worked for you.

Thank you for your advice. Found out what was causing it. It was chrome update. Once i uninstalled updates it fixed the problem. But il update it again today and if the problem starts again then il t have to take it to samsung service centre in town. . Some say the update for the camera features is causing it. I dont know.... But if it persists like i said il take it to service centre. Thanks again.

Talking about your S10 plus browser problem, I tried same the thing which you mentioned in earlier on my S9 plus and S7 edge phones but the link and the bookmark is fine and works for me without any problem even I tried both over on Wifi connection and mobile data as well. I suggest you to Delete Cache partition while your phone is switched off press vol up & down + press power button at the same time if still doesn't work then show your S10 plus to Sam service center and if couldnt help I'm afraid they will ask you to factory reset which may annoys you. Hi scorpio. This is mty opinon ont both. There is a difference. But its not massive leap. . Camera is slightly better. Iultra wide is good for getting more in picture. ve been looking at both and except for 2inch bigger screen, bigger battery and few less bezels theres not huge diff except for selfie camera on display which hasnt bothered me. S10+ 8gb ram. The ultra sonic fingerprint is good. .but s9 plus fingerprint still good. As for performance testing to s9 plus they are similar. S10+ slightly quicker opening apps. Rebooting both phones s9 plus came on few seconds earlier. Display on s10+ slightly better. Battery slightly better. But i had no problems with battery on s9+. Truefuly, i like both phones. My advice stay with s9 plus for now.

Yes battery is good on s9 plus. I. Ive always said that on this forum. I can get a day out of it. I use fb , whattsapp email mgs , etc. I have AOD on all the time. Broghtness set at 80%. It depends how often your on your phone. Although i bought s10+ i will still continue to keep my s9 plus. Ive never had a problem with battery. Like i keep saying if on any phone 24/ 7 yes battery will drain.

Battery life is good of my S9 plus, I adjusted some settings of my display like brightness I don't use much brightness just 40-50, Screen resolution of my screen is HD+ and I switched off my auto brightness, Always on display i used for particular time after that it turnt off and hence the battery goes almost a day, even though I used social media and youtube and camera thats it. the battery works fine with I just single charge a day.

I bought this device a month ago, and i must say that i'm disappointed in camera. It has this annoying red tint in pictures and videos taken with its native camera app, and not only that, it has even more annoying lens flare. The red tint i can fix by adjusting the white balance in the editing software, but the lens flare (looks like a ghost image of a phone) i can't.

Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Network operators. You have two options: auto and manually. If you choose manually, then select your sim operator, otherwise on auto you should have a message like "registered network". See if this solves the problem.

i dont have that in my s9 plus. Have you tried restting your camera? Or go into settings - go into apps- scroll down to camera and in camera press storage and clear cache. Might just be a clinche.

For better & clear picture quality, You need to wait for seconds so that it process the picture without getting blur and your hands must be still while you take a shot.

It has single press click for camera in Bixby dedicated key, All you have to do is go to settings> Click advanced features> Click Bixby key> you will get option of single press and double press, either you can choose Single press open Bixby and double press to open Camera or any other app you want, Or 2nd option you will get same thing in vice versa that is single press for Camera and double press for Bixby.

You need bixby to use that feature. Double press to open your camera. Single press for bixby. Go into settings in bixby. Press on bixby key and check that you have set camera to open with double pressing bicby button.

Thats good you got it. But the more ram you use the quicker apps open. Idle ram is not good. I used to worry about ram. But after it being explained to me by samsung i dont worry anymore. So dont worry about how much ram you use.

August update was just for security. No other extra features included. So it wouldnt have done anything to your bixby button settings. Like i said single press for bixby. Double press for the app you have set to open.

Thanks again Maggi for your time and patience. I was initially looking at the s10 but the note 10 is not much bigger whereas the s10+ may just be a little too big to fit comfortably in my pockets. The major drawback with note 10 may be its lower resolution screen. I don't know how different it is until I see them both side by side. I am tempted by note 10 5g as it is probably the most economical entry to 5g in a reasonable size phone. Decisions decisions decisions...…….life shouldn't be so difficult ……...lol

Hi scorpio. I have to agree with you on 5g. Some networks are not supporting 5g yet. And it has to be in the area where you or I live. After having s10+ i have to say is very good. It comes preinstalled with screen protector which i didnt know. The three camera at the back are amazing. Also lots more features than s9 plus. If you are looking to upgrade i would suggest s10+. Its lighter to hold. The display is amazing. Theres a difff between s9 plus screen and s10+ screen. Im still finding new things in it. Im really glad i got s10+. now. Yes. When you take it out of box and set it up you will get the update right away for latest firmware which is android pie. You will also get updates for the new camera features and security patch updates. My friend bought s9 plus yestr and got all the updates. She also got August update.

Yeah. But 6.8 inch is over doing it. Its taking it to tablet level. So wouldnt call note 10 + a phone..i like sd card option and jack. I know you can use bluetooth headphones. But they only last few hours. As for note 10, ive been watching reviews on it. Some good. Some bad. Its not a massive big jump for me. Thats why i wouldnt give up my s9+ for it. Galaxy S9+ is a brilliant phone, no doubt that it can beat iPhone X and even note 8 is not better than S9+. S9+ vs S9: Just buy S9 Plus variant because if you buy s9 which is smaller/tiny in size so it will probably a waste of money but rather the size of phone and battery rest of the things are same. Personally I hate small display phones but it's upto you. S9plus is an expensive phone right now and S10 could be a good decision but in S10 there is no iris scanner which is the greatest security so be wise at selecting mobiles because you need to use is daily untill changing!!

Hi Jess. From my own personal experience S9 plus is an amazing phone. From performance to display etc. Camera takes great photos. Colours come out crisp and clear. Night mode good for low light conditions. Never have to use the flash. Battery good. Depending how often im on my phone i can get over a day in battery. Check it out on youtube for more info. I would say s9 plus. Battery is good in my personal opinon. Ive not had any problems. I think petsonally no matter what size battery is on phone if on 24/7 battery will drain. It depends how often your on the phone. I can get over a day in battery life. I use whattsapp, fb, calls, texts email youtube etc. Theres not much diff between note 9 and s9 plus in specs. I choose s9 plus over note 9. I think s9 plus is an amazing phone. I think its nice in appearence. Does everything i need in a phone. Thats my personal opinon. If you are not interested in s pen then i would suggest you buy s9 plus deff.

I will buy this device. I don't like notches. I don't like absurd "global" software from China, even if the specs are good. I bought my mother a Mi 9. I'm glad she likes it. But this is what I want because it's a real flagship only a step behind, in my case the exynos. I've used the S8 and craved after a Meizu 16xs as a sensible replacement. I've seen one in the flesh now and it's not in the game any more. Stereo, wireless charging, by 5.0, a perfect 6.2" high resolution display. And no silly wallpaper to hide the hole. Hi George. I dont have that problem on my s9 plus. Have you tried going into camera settings and resetting it? Also go into apps. Scroll down to camera. Press storage in camera and clear cache. I Havent had any problems with camera. July update brought good features for AR Emojis which is good. Hope you get it sorted.

There is an error which I dictate from Samsung Galaxy s9+, this mistake is that when you snap with the phone it appears dark ( dark like come close small to evening ) and not shinny thereby making the picture not beautiful. I humbly suggest that on the next update Samsung company could fix this problem

I've the S9+ & the A50 (which I recently bought as my secondary phone) cameras on both are excellent, the S9+ is better in low light but the A50 also got night mode camera feature with the June update so the cameras on both are excellent. You can't say that S9+ has a bad camera in fact it's the best you can get on a smartphone.

Was on sam live chat to confirm what i thought but wanted to be sure. This is what they told me. Front camera will normally change it's MP usage since wide angle option will always use the maximum MP available which is the 8MP. And as for the normal portrait one. It will normally use the 5.2pm option to maximise the zoom feature.

Maybe its not a problem but a new addition to the camera. Because near view is to take a a selfie and far view is to take group selfie. Thats my view on it. Its not annoying me. Nothing to worry about.

Thats not a solution,for both far or near view, front camera is supposed to show 8mp.

Have you checked near view in your front camera which will only be 5.2mp. My friends show the same as mine. So its not a fault in my camera. Everything else is fine.

If u select far view then it is 8M pixel & if u select near view it is 5.2M pixel You may have selected near view on front camera mode How to select it? there are double & single man pictures comes on live front camera mode Please check if it helps

Have you tried going into camera and restting it? Also go into apps- scroll down to camera. Go into camera storage and clear cache and data.

Battery is great on mine. I also dnt play games. But i use mine for whattsup, fb, email, mgs, youtube and watch videos etc and battery is fine. Depending how often im on my phone i can get over a day without charging battery. If on phone 24/7 it will drain. I also have my brightness set at 80% as its bright enough with this great display. Screen uses more battery.

It depends on how you use it. I don't play games on my S9+ as I use my tablet for games but my phone is continuously connected to Bluetooth to my smartwatch and I use it a lot for social networking sites, it still gives me a day of usage with ease.

Like you say maybe next security patch will solve your problem. I havent had any problems with camera or features so far. Everything is fine. I dont know if a factory reset will fix it. But thats a hassle having back everything up and then to reinstall all apps etc back into phone.

Try resetting your camera. Also go into settings >apps and scroll down to camera and go into the storage and clear cache. See if that helps. Hope you get it solved.

It's not your office WIFI it's your phone carrier who is responsible for updates. You must all be using different carriers.

Maybe you guys know this. But i get text mgs it shows mgs icon on AOD. But once i touch phone to lockscreen i couldnt read or answer my texts until i unlocked my phone. Now i found in settings - lockscreen and set it to show detail. Now without unlocking my phone i can read and reply to my mgs which is good.

Loads i checked manually. On sam live chat they told me to keep checking manually and also try restarting my phone for some reason?... . I did that and few days later i got the update. I just had to keep checking manually. Samsung pushes update to the carriers. Its the carriers that push it to thier phones. Contact your network provider. They should be able to help you.

Low light photography was quite good on the S9 Plus but it got much better with the "Night mode" addition. I'm yet to use the flash light but I think with the latest feature added it won't come into play :-D

Hi scropio. Your phone will be fine as long as it is repaired at an official, authorized samsung repair center.. Just ask someone there when you leave it in. Is there a samsung centre near were you live?

I actually took it to a service centre some time ago and they offered to send it off for service but I didn't want to be without it for a few days and I was also concerned that they would ruin the waterproofing by opening the phone.

Yup that's true one of my friends had the same issue on her S9+ she had to tap the camera lens to get it right which was quite annoying and there's nothing you can do about it except the tap. A software update could do the trick for you.

Ive never had any issues with my camera. Everythings great on s9 plus and its the first time ive heard of this problem on s9 plus. Try resetting your camera to see if that helps. If not it could be a software problem which may need fixed at service centre.

I have an s8 and have had the same issue for many months. I give the camera a couple of taps and it clears. Don't know the cause of the problem but I have heard of others with the same issue. Otherwise you can take it to a service centre.

Phone is really good but whenever I open back camera it is blurred and do not focus (seems like focus is stuck somewhere), I have to shake the device physically to make it work. There's no point in upgrading to the S10+ unless you're a millionaire. The S9+ is really a great phone with all the good things so I personally don't feel any reason to upgrade or waste your hard earned money. Secondly once the S11 comes out it would be better than than the S10 so the quest of having the best will always remain unfulfilled.

Don't waste your time. The phone also has a glass back. Safest to get a good fold-over cover to protest the whole phone front and back. I have one and it worth the peace of mind.

there is only little different, in terms of cpu, screen resolution, and camera. honestly, 10e is lower spec in line, s9 plus was higher spec in line. most important, value for money is on s9 plus on the moment, and samsung keep updating the phone. if want great phone, no point consider 10e, straight to 10 plus. for you case, s9 plus totally fulfill all with no doubt.

I personally would suggest s9 plus from my own experience of owning nearly 7 months. I play very few games. Ive movies which i like on my phone. I watch youtube. Its the best samsung phone ive owned in terms of display, size , sound etc. Depending how often im on my phone i can get over a day in battery life. So ive no problems about the battery. But just compare the two and decide which phone you prefer. I havent really checked 10e specs as im happy with s9 plus. So dont know anything about it. I can only give you my personal view on s9 plus. Maybe other users can help you to decide. Hope this helps.

Just received the June security patch update on my S9+ which is all about camera and it's AWESOME!!! You get 8 intensity blur image options and the biggest is the "NIGHT MODE" option which is superb to have. Thanks Samsung :-D

I had used the S6 edge+, S7 edge and the S8+ in the past which had 4 GB RAM & they all were really smooth without any lag. It depends on your usage and the apps installed. As far as the S9+ is concerned, 6GB of RAM is really sufficient to run things smoothly. Personally I had used the S8+ for over an year and it was really a fantastic phone.

The more ram used the quicker apps open. 6gb ram.is plenty on s9 plus. Even 4gb is plenty. Ram holds the data yhat enables mulit asking. So a good amount of ram use is good. Sometimes i use 3gb ram and other times its lower. It depends. I only have the few apps i use all the time. Dont worry about how much ram. you use. Just google it and get more info. Hope this helps.

Traded my Note FE and got this couple of days back (burgundy red) so far so good, phone is fast and looks great too, battery life is good (standby time is great too) got tons of updates once I turned this thing on and the camera is really cool, takes great pics in any lighting conditions. I got the may update. But i thought unlocked version get it first. Maybe its just me thinking this, but since updating to pie the patch updates take longer. On oreo i got monthly updates around the sametime every month. Do you have paid themes? I keep having to download my paid themes all the time. I took it to samsung service centre and they reinstalled the software. It was great for few weeks. Now im having to download them all again. Everything else is great.

Samsung is going down the drain fast. The S9 unlocked series has been without security updates since January. Moderators on Samsung's site are lying about why the phones have problems and censoring/blacklisting any proof to the contrary.

I have both and the note 9 is easily better I think,bigger screen and better battery life and its just a work horse to get things done on and I haven't struggled to get threw a day with my note 9 at all. I would say s9 plus. If you want spen and bigger screen then note 9. Apart from that theres not much diff between the two. But s9 plus is a great phone in terms of speed, performance , display etc.

I wouldvsay s9 plus. From performance, speed to display and camera s9 plus is amazing. Ive owned this phone from november 2018 and i can honestly say its everything you would need in a phone. Watching videos is great. Dolby Atmos sound when playing videos music is fantastic quality. Im not a fan of sony phones although i used a few in the past. But i personally think samsung is better. I strongly advice you plz do not flash your phone. You wont recieve anymore updates for it. And if not done properly things can go wrong. Its easily solved with a factory reset or take it to samsung service centre and they will do it for you.

What i like most about it is it's fast charging , actually i do not believe this speed was even possible , not only it charged quickly it can last two days on avarge use and one day in intense usage . Yes . You can put any skin or cover on s9 plus. I bought the purple matrix s view cover from samsung. Its nice on my phone. But it feels heavy when i have it on which is only when im out and have it in my bag.. stops it from getting scratched by keys or whatever.

looks like I have problem with my wifi, sometimes the wifi no respond I use Internet Speed Meter apps to see my network connection speed, 0 KB/s when it's no respond but when I use cellular data, no problem at all I just reset my phone about 3 weeks ago, so I don't think reset phone is the solution any suggestion?

The quaulity in camera is very good. But its not a nixon. I find selfies and photos and videos are very good. Bright and clear. Night takes good low lit pics. I havent found any problems in camera. But i didnt buy s9 plus soley on camera as its not the most important feature in this phone for me personally. Its good for selfies and quick videos when needed. But its not my number priorty.

I do think so. Portrait mode pics in indoors and low light are very poor. Camera need improvements in portrait mode, front camera too along with a dedicated night mode to shoot bit long exposure pics. Right now my Indian S9+ model is on 1-Apr security patch.

No. Ive checked and no black spot. Have you tried resseting camera? Also clean your rear camera with a micro cloth just incase its dusty. But if iyour still getting the black spot you may have to take it to service centre so they can check it. Your phone is still under warranty. So it womt cost anything. Hope this helps.

I find battery is good on s9 plus. Depending how often im on it i can get over day without charge. Any phone no matter size of battery will drain if on 24/7! S9 plus is an amazing phone in every sense of the word. Display wise, no other brand comes close. Ive always used samsung phones. And its nice and slim build. I wouldnt swap to another brand.

According to the review with link at bottom of this post, the S9 + has only 6 hours screen on time versus over 10 hours on the Mate Pro 20. No matter how good a phone is, when your'e out of battery power it's no good at all ! Having experienced poor battery life on my S3 then Note 4 I swore not to buy another phone without good battery life. So I'm afraid that rules out the S9+ for me. Why do some manufacturers think every one wants a lite weight phone ? What's far far more important is a decent battery life to get from one night time charge to the next without having to plug it in during the daytime !

Yeah. Thats true. I find pie very good and battery is good to. I wasnt going to upgrade as i was worried about my paid themes etc. But im glad i did upgrade to pie. I actually like it and find its better than oreo. I like the recyle bin in gallery because if i delete a video or photos by mistake i can restore them. So thats a good feature to have. My phone is running smoothly:)

Don’t listen to him and then realize that you pick the wrong phone. Used S9 plus, note 9, S9 yeah S9 plus and note 9 are very good phones, but after Pie update and one UI phones turns slower and bit laggy plus Samsung gestures aren’t that good as iPhone or even mi9 or one plus gestures My advice to you go by yourself and try both phones and decide what you want.

I wud recommend iPhone XR against S9+. I used S9+ for an year then switched to XR and after 12days switched back to S9+ due to lack of dedicated file explorer and organized gallery like Android phones have. Also lack of customization felt me like in a enclosed shell. But when you look to camera department XR is the best woth more picture details and best portrait shots.

I keep getn a popup mgs when in device care saying if any problems with battery after pie update to take it to samsung centre and they will replace it. But battery for me is fine. Yep. It's all the more about software refinement. I love the image processing of the camera pictures, the sound EQ, the screen is lovely and can be viewed sideways, can be customized as well. I'd struggle to find it a competitor other than another Samsung phone and I am not really a pro-brand person. My only complaint so far is that I resorted to a 3rd party app to lock the screen immediately without pressing a button and the battery is sealed in.

I bought S9+ last yr july. So. one year is almost up. CONS- 1. The battery is pretty much a joke! 3500mah but actually similar to 2800mah. Samsung as usual. Big talk but quickshot. 2. Low light picture!! Again big talk. In reality nothing close to imagination. That's it. 3. I can't use it as dual sim phone. single sim ok. Never mattered to me Pros- 1. Pretty much balanced set with everything nice. 2. NO frame drop when gaming, can play in hd with high frame rates. 3. Good cameras both selfie and rear. 4. Battery has liquid cooling probably so less heating and more gaming and streaming. Overall, S9+ is a pretty impressive set but average battery not the worth the money. But, you can easily buy it if your main use is not gaming.

Upgrading from Note 4. This is the best phone experience I've ever had. Purchased as unbranded G965F/DS, probably meant for Thailand and it's doing great here in EU, IT. I love the fact that I've used the phone for the first time for over a day without a single reboot, the phone didn't need to update and just updated apps, it was already on 9.0 and One UI. Everything works, blazingly fast while keep it cool. The Note 4 was an oven, this one just gets lukewarm under multi-tasking. I haven't still found a bug which is unusual since I keep finding them everywhere, in Windows 10 when it came out I had a list within the first hour of use. So pleased with One UI and biometric. Face and Irises scan work every single time for me... It hasn't failed once. If this was the largest critique in the features I can't really help but think it's going to be my ultimate phone. Really enjoying all the countless features and customizations of OneUI. If you'd ask me this is one of the best flagship ever, not only because of its hardware but also because everything works beautifully in the Samsung UI and apps department.

Turing it down from qhd to 1080p you can get 9-10 hours screen time heavy use cant tell much different in screen and with 720 p about 10 -11 ,hours not much different but you can see the quality loss No Bixby enabled also

Battery on s9 plus is good. I can get over a day on mine. It depends how often im on my phone. Im amazed how good the battery is. I Have owned this phone nearly 5 months and still enjoying it:)

I have had my S9 plus nearly a year now and I have been using it lots today and I am on 13 percent battery left with 6 hours 48 minutes screen usage. I am very impressed with it today and I have been using it so much,this phone is good :)

Well after using my S9+ for complete one year, i finally gave it to my brother-in-law & bought myself an iPhone XR. Wanted an exposure to iOS that’s why. What I’m missing on XR is the wonderful QHD Amoled display, open environment of Android, Samsung gallery and a full fledged file explorer from S9+. What is good about XR over S9+ is the smoothness, speed, security and camera, specially portrait pics on XR is way better than S9+. Now choice is urs. **Note: fast charging is also missing on XR but XR discharges very slowly than S9+ so I don’t need to charge my mobile now twice a day as I used to on S9+.

Being the owner of s9 plus i would say this phone. Fast in performance. Watching videos is amazing. Dolby atoms gives great sound. Battery is fine. Display is beautiful. Hope this helps.

Well if love iphone and dont mind the high price obviously go for XR. It has the fastest mobile chip on the planet, while you've been using SE for long switching to XR will feels like home but with a much better hardware. But, if you want something different S9+ is a good choice, it has much better features than XR with lower price. Samsung's oled display is gorgeous and THE BEST, thats why Apple chose samsung to supply oled for X,Xs. You'll noticed the difference when had been using samsung flagship for so long then switched to other oled phone/brand. S9+ has bigger screen, bigger battery, more cameras than XR etc. In terms of features S9+ wins although XR has fastest chip you wont notice the different in real world usage.

Yeah, a dilemma. But a false economy to shell out more money (I'm sure there are better things you can put money towards etc..), to go for the Note 9. But I agree, the S10 series ditching the Iris scanner and LED notifications are big missteps. Every fingerprint scanner I've used at some point in time (S6, S7 and S9+), totally fails to register your prints at some points, requiring re-registering. Either finger(s) are too dry, too wet or the sensor is smudged. What I've seen on the S10 with its under-screen scanner doesn't exactly inspire me either. The Iris scanner is perfect and works in dark conditions (often in the cinema). The lift to wake is quick off the mark, too. I could sing the praises of the S9+ forever and bemoan the drawbacks of the S10. But I guess at some point I'll have to move with the times and, get onboard with the new tech. I think the real deal will be the innovative A80 camera / all screen display, finding its way into the flagship S series down the line, or the in-display selfie camera for the totally bezel-less solution. The Note 9, while arguable a great phone, is still a tad too large and sharp-edged and 'boxy', to be comfortable. It's also fairly heavy at over 200g. A sub-200g Note 10/11, with a more aesthetic design would be a better option, I think. There's a tinge of regret (for me at least), in plumping for the S9+ in the first case on release, and not waiting until the Note 9 was release in late 2018. I could have then grown to live with the size/dimensions and weight. But as the S9+ largely delivers 95% of what the Note 9 does already (bar the S-pen related stuff), it's a wasteful trade-in/trade-up.

Thanks for your opinions people and at the moment I'm still on the fence regarding getting a note 9 but I ain't interested in the s10 plus because it has no iris scanner and no notification led and it just seems like a tarted up S9 plus with missing features and it's bloody expensive to but I would like the note 9 for the bigger battery and the s pen thing to use but overall it has the things the s10 plus does not and its cheaper to so its kinda a win win to get a note 9 over say the s10 plus. The note 9 is certainly not out of date is it and I have had my S9 plus about 9 months I guess now and it's a champ but the note 9 just seems to be pulling me towards it type thing. I will think further on this but I do admit I really ain't interested in the latest and supposedly greatest s10 plus....

I'm an S9+ owner (UK) and I'd say it's probably a mistake to go from the S9+ to the Note 9. The software experience/UI will be almost identical, bar the features that the S-pen brings. The key differentiators of course are the larger battery, S-Pen and perhaps some incremental changes in photo quality. Any increase in RAM/storage above what my S9+ (6gb/128gb storage) is likely to be superfluous for typical daily usage. Guess it boils down to 'do I need the S-Pen and larger battery?'. The more logical jump, assuming you need the S-Pen and must upgrade under 2 years would be for the forthcoming Note 10. This is something I've considered, but I'm 100% dead against having a dual-camera cut out, but at the same time I'd sworn my next Samsung would be a Note series phone (as a frequent sketcher, this would be useful to me..). So, like you, I've been considering a trade-in of the S9+ for a Note 9, but it's only really a sideward step...BUT, it would avoid a (future) hole-punch for me. There are aspects of the S10 series I'd like to have (better chip / better AR Emojis / ultra-wide lens / wireless reverse charging etc) and these will no doubt feature in the Note 10 and beyond. It's just the thought of having to stomach a dual camera cut-out is quite sickening. A single camera hole, as per the standard S10 would just about be acceptable, but still not ideal. Maybe I'll just sit it out until an under-screen selfie camera is developed or other solution that doesn't impede on the screen. Good luck with whatever you decide...

I also love s9 +. As for note 9. They both have nearly same specs. Couple inches bigger in screen. But thats it. I was gona buy note 9. But seen this phone and decided i wanted this instead of note 9. it was good choice i made. So im happy with s9 plus so much. Amazing phone.

Thats good. The camera is fine on mine. I use it all the time. Videos to. I love s9 plus. Its the best samsung phone ive used. Ive always used notes. Ive s7 edge just over a yr old . Still good for a second phone. But s series is better. I find this phone does everything i need in a phone.

It seems fine now. But not happy with portrait shots in indoors. Samsung now has changed this in S10+ and now uses main camera for portrait shots rather than telephoto camera as in S9+.

I love this phone. Only problem is that after Pie update the selfie camera fails to autofocus. I checked on several S9 and S9plus from friends and even went to Sansung's assistence and confirmed it. Hope Samsung fix this on the next update cuz it's really anoying.

I had that problem with my s7 edge. It was slight burnout in screen. Service centre replaced the screen .. I would advice you take it to service centre for them to look at it. They will be able to tell you whats causing it. Your phone is still under warranty it will be fixed free of charge.

With owning s9 plus from november i would suggest you buy s9 plus. Its great phone in terms of display, performance etc. Battery is fine. I choose this over note 9 and i made the right choice. Hope this helps.

on Anand tech the cpu little cores were overclocked from 1.79 ghz to 2 ghz and the geekbench score went from 3800 to 4000 and multi core from 9000 to 10000 which is quite close to the s 10

Do you mean after 1st march patch update? I havent had that problem with contacts during call. I know the update included stability for contacts in update. But honestly, i havent had any problems that your having. Go into settings > Apps> scroll down to contacts and clear cache. See if that helps.

I always buy SanDisk Ultra microSDXC Memory Card comes with SD Adapter with A1 App Performance up to 100MB/s, Class 10, U1 . They are very good ones and ive bought many of them. I got a few 128gb and 200 gb for my phone. You can buy them on amazon as thats were i get them. Now they are expensive. But its worth it. Very fast and worth the money. There are cheaper ones. But i advise you dont buy them as they can be faulty. I hope this helps.

I would advice you buy s9 plus. Battery is good. Display and performance is amazing. Size is good for watch videos. Its fast when on internet. Fast opening apps etc. But you should compare the two and then decide. Good luck.

I will give one reason to go for S10e new Soc Exyons 9820 or snapdragon 855 both Soc are way better than last year Soc in terms of CPU power or GPU. You need to check both phones and decide by yourself, the good thing about S10e flat screen there’s no edge screen like S9 plus if you prefer flat screen, but size wise S9 plus 6.2 inch win compare to tiny size of S10e 5.8 inch (bezels).

Got the 1st march patch update today. The performance of front camera improved. 68 degree angle view is the default when taking a selfie. Speed of changing the camera mode has been optimised. Improved stability for wifi, messages, contacts, video editor. And security has been improved. Anyone else get it? I checked in settings> software update and got the update.

Hi. My experience with s9 plus is amazing phone. From performance to speed its outstanding. I would say since s9 plus is down in price i would advice you to buy it. Im going by my personal experience with this phone. Best phone ive owned. Ive had many samsung phones and then notev3 and note edge. Then i went on to the s series which was s7 edge and now s9 plus and im happy i did. Battery is fine. Display is beautiful. Just a great phone. Hope this helps.

Back all your stuff to sd card and through your samsung accout which backs up contacts , mgs ,apps , contacts. I got everything like apps installed back into phone again. I always use sms backup and restore and apps backup restore also from playstore. Using them for years. Never lets me down. But didnt have to use them. But i like to back apps up and sms backed up. Good to have.

Do a factory reset. It will take out any bugs and solve your problems. I did factory reset yesterday because i had few problems nothing major. But my s9 plus is grear.i it fixed my themes issue and it running smooth. Battery great. Performance etc great. Hope this helps.

take your phones backup with samsung smart switch to memory card. do hard reset, completely wipe out all of the data on your phone, use smart switch to restore your phone to old itself and ta-daaaaaa!!! you are good to go. with this method mine antutu score rise from 265.424 to 287.164 thx to pie update and clean system state (snapdragon 845 soc). do it and be happy friend :)

But one thing where Samsung is lacking behind even on S10+ is the portrait shots in low light. Very poor and useless. I've iPhone XR, even with single camera it gives awesome lowlight portrait shots just like pixel 3. Samsung hasn't built expertise in this area yet even in 2019. Just checkout any camera comparison videos on YouTube released this year for S10+.

Hey guys, Well it's been One complete year now that I'm using my S9+ without any issue. Currently on Pie OS with Feb Sec patch. Was planning to switch my phone and so compared with available options on Photo comparison tool of GSMArena and found that S9+ still keeping well in low light when compared to Pixel3, S10+ and iPhone XS. So now dropped d plan. I'm from Pune, India.

Rocking this phone and Im amazed at the battery stamina. Online throughout, left at 7.30am at 98% charge, no boost during the day, back home at 5pm and Im at 48% charge. I can say 6 points for Samsung, 9 points for the S9+.
