LG Connect 4G MS840 - User Reviews

  • The Battery sucks on this phone. I've went through two batteries already with this phone It overheats A lot. The memory/Storage is great I wish it was a bit bigger but other than that its good

  • Can I upgrate the os to 4.0 cos that's what am dying to do guys. Thanks

  • Wife has this phone. She likes it but complains about its terrible battery life. Terrible means you aren't going to go thru a day on a charge. Ever. Compared to my Droid RAZR Max which goes for days it's pretty sharp relief. Still, it's a small, fast, capable phone with great features, camera, etc. Wife bought an extra battery and changes mid day. It is annoying but she'd rather keep it as is than replace it with something else so its other qualities are pretty redeeming!

  • Does anyone know how I can download software to tis phone to enable text messaging in Japanese Language, with Japanese characters? Thanks.

  • I feel quite pleased. In the afternoons, it becomes highly sensitive to touch when typing. irrational gibberish will appear at the proximity level and at actual contact. I restart once a day at least, and I run several memory, etc, clean up apps in the morning. I find I Must use the extended battery to get most of a day's use. Overnight, it will lose 3-5 percent of battery. Music draws little. My Swift-Key 3 Keyboard draws the most bat at 53 percent. Pleased with handling and connectivity, etc. Gorilla Glass is not impervious! I'll surely think of more to report later. 30

  • Lg 4gb

  • I have it its fast awesome and i can download about 89 stufff get it plus it has a camera in front and back

  • My opnion its i dont like so meny probem with this cell ,i spend almost 900$ with new cell Lg Im sorry guys, but i dont want any more...

  • How good is it like the Samsung galaxy s3 can you watch it on TV or PC's

  • i have it & i love it !

  • I can give a brief review on this phone. IMO it is worth the money to purchase this phone and have it on the metro PCS carrier (or whatever prepaid carrier that comes with it). Camera is good, has good features and does have zoom. Video recording is awesome. Plays games very well, and so far from using it for almost 2 months, it does everything an android is supposed to do. The battery life is not great (but I don't know a phone that has great battery life). It doesn't last very long, but that is easily fixed with juice defender. It does overheat from time to time, so i would be mindful of how many apps are running at once. Overall its great bang for the buck, and the fact that it is on a prepaid carrier, means the monthly bill won't destroy your wallet. The beefy specs live up to the claim.

  • I like thtlis phone I am going to get one nexts weej K

  • Is this phone going to update to ice cream sandwich 4.0?? This phone is amazing works awesome.

  • So does it have a bad battery and bad camera that you can't zoom?

  • Get juicedefender from the app store n set it to agressive mode. Helped me alot battery last all day :-)

  • Amazing features all in one phone. Does anyone here know if it is already available in the Philippines? I hope it's not expensive. Please help me, thank you.

  • the battery life is crap but the rest is great!

  • I like the size, it's not too big and not too small. It's nova display is like you've probably heard is really bright, and is worthy to compete against super AMOLED. Only real draw back is the battery. Also I don't mind the ui as it adds more features than stock android, and in a way looks like touchwiz.

  • is one of the best devices fast, best video, best pics is a wowwww

  • nop, thats the one of the drawbacks

  • Seems like a powerful device... does anyone know anything about the battery life?

  • It maybe not be the best because its metro but its a no contract phone and the bill isn't 70 or higher for limited talk time no MSG or WEB. if you have money and high standards then go with the Iphone and keep buying the newest one till you go bankrupt they will come out with a 5,6,7,8...... but for simple folks technology will never be perfect because its a way to keep getting money for the rich and there's dumb people who will work there entire life to set food on the Iphone owners table. So good luck on you decision.

  • Does it have HDMI port?

  • looks owesome....wt myt b $$ f it??

  • This is an amazing phone at hopefully a reasonable price. This is the only contract free company that offers a phone of this caliber. In addition it's not supposed to compete with a $529 dollar phone. Metro Pcs is moving on up and they are the best at making affordability while still making quality products this one is a perfect example. Dual Core 1.2 ghz, Nova Display, 4G, front VGA, 5mp cam. Sacrifice some specs but still have a phone that will play nice with the big boys.

  • it doesnt really compete because its probably not as thin, or the processer is a different type. but it does have a nova display, like the one on the optimus black. just wish it ran ics outa the box

  • And how exactly does this compete wit SG2?
