Asus ZenFone Lite (L1) ZA551KL - User Reviews

  • How to on outdoor mode?

  • Display quality is very bad. it have low colours and low brightness. Display looks cheap and non hd, old type bad TFT, and sound is low & have bad quality. But asus says it have HD+ ips display. Other features of zenfone lite L1 are good at this price range, multi colour led notification light, slim, good build quality, stylish, good camera, good battery backup, light weight. Good processing. Stock android. ... Samsung galaxy M10 have HD TFT display but its display quality is very very good, colours are good, Displays feels like super amoled or sony ips.

  • To all the people who are about to buy this phone ! - I have had this phone and YU ace. Hands down YU ace is the winner. It has a better display than Asus l1 lite, more battery, finger print scanner, dual volte on both sims at same time. and a better speaker. In every category YU ace is better. For a daily driver i choose YU ace. And i had both.

  • First of all , xiaomi redmi 6a has Mediatek helio a22 not p22 and size of transistor does not make a cpu fast or slow , it just how many transistors u can fit in , i have both devices and can say lite l1 is better than 6a.

  • Hi #K60, When you install apps initially on your Asus device, you can see your app details and storage information in settings. Then,go to Settings>apps> *the application you wish to move to SD CARD* > then click on move to SD card. This should do the trick. That's all from #Sid66

  • Personally using this device for nearly two months and its giving me good performance and great battery backup. Plus, I have also come across opinions regarding the heating issue of Redmi-6A and performance issue despite having a better specs than the Asus Zenfone lite L1. This is just me giving my honest opinion of my device. I bought this device on Flipkart in the month of December 2018. That's all from #Sid66.

  • How to move apps in sd card on this mobile... there's no option available...???

  • Bro redmi 6A has latest processor helio p22 with 12 nm technology. Asua zenfone lite l1 has oldest processor sd430 with 28 nm technology which is very laggy despite being octa core processor. Also redmi 6A battery backup is much better than Asus zenfone lite l1

  • Bro... Redmi 6A has latest processor helio p22 with 12nm technology which makes it quite fast and responsive... While as asus zenfone lite l1 has oldest processor sd430 with older technology 28nm which makes it slow or laggy sometimes... Also battery backup of Redmi 6A is much better than Asus zenfone lite l1

  • Redmi 6A

  • The only issue that can really get on your nerves is pathetic mutitaskng. I mean when you open three apps or more it starts killing them. I wonder if there exist any solution. I have even tried changing settings in mobile manager (suspended mode..)!

  • Plystore app Downlod problem very late downlod any app please solw Asus Compny this problem

  • Ypc Hey,ypc.I don't know if that's your real name. Now this Device, the Asus Zenfone lite L1 has *2* speaker modes. Indoor and outdoor mode The indoor mode is a more soft and pleasant sound and suitable for indoor atmosphere of course. The outdoor mode is more of a *forced* jazz and bass sound. It works really good in outdoor. I literally tested it in heavy traffic and trust me,it works great. So I would give 9/10 for sound quality. Hope this helps you, ypc.

  • Gm8 Hey.I don't know what your name is gM8,yeah but the phone has a battery life of 1 to 1.5 day on daily usage. Plus if you use it on Mobile data it reduces to 1 day. I charge my Zenfone lite with a Motorola branded charger and not the company issue charging brick. Hope this helps,gM8

  • What's the standing time of this device for a normal user .. like only phone call nd slight internet usage?

  • Wonderful mobile. Excellent Performance.

  • Can anyone tell me about the speaker and sound quality.

  • which glass protector use this mobile.

  • Hi there folks. I have been using the Asus Zenfone lite L1 for a week now.So far I haven't seen any lag or frame drops. It's been a good experience so far. I have installed just a couple of apps(Facebook and whatsapp) and I'm happy to say it's been smooth. Battery is lasting almost 36 hours with normal usage (both WIFI and Mobile data) The display is simply great for a budget phone like this. RAM management is good so far. Conclusion:its a tough competition between Asus Zenfone Lite L1 and the Redmi 6A because they both come in the buget phone section but the Asus is a definite win against the Redmi device. Bottomline, I love this device. Its light and sleeky with smooth edges on the sides, really digs into your fingers and extremely handy. Thats all from #Sid66.If you want to know anything be sure to comment on my post. Cheers and take care

  • It's performance is the very best then redmi 6A I know redmi is India's no 1 brand but Asus make lite1 better then 6A it is only truth because I used it before 16 days

  • REDMI 6A ofc bro

  • When a smartphone is smarter than the user..smh

  • Use memory Card to move you XXX VIDEOs & your gf xx pics " LOL"

  • How is that cheating anyone or even a reason to not buy this phone? Everyone knows system can take a bit of space. If you're having issues with other things, such as performance in games like PUBG, battery, heating, camera, crashes, build quality etc, your feedback could be valuable to others.

  • Hi Friends PLS DON'T BUY THIS PHONE....not worth for the cost...I purchased Asus ZenFone Lite L1 last week, honestly i am not happy with this phone. Company said internal storage is 16GB but after system update it gives me only 8.44 GB space to use and for system it took 7.56 GB space. Almost half of 16GB and i haven't copied any of my videos or photos yet....what kind of update it has ?....Such a USELESS PHONE...not worth for value. I had Asus Zenphone 5 long time back and it was also 16 GB and it took only 4GB space. Asus is fooling customers by promoting 16GB phone for Rs.5999/- and giving only 8.44 GB ...they are cheating customers

  • Which one is better among Asus Lite L1, Yu Ace, Redmi 6A, Honor 7s?

  • Does the phone support video calling over volte

  • I recently bought two phones through Flipcart. In Flipcart the specifications has been mentioned as OCTA CORE and you have reported it as QUAD CORE. I did not buy REDMI 6A - because it carried MEDIATEK and QUAD CORE PROESSOR I preferred REDMI 5A - because it had SNAPDRAGON BOARD, however it was QUAD CORE. Therefore I switched to OCTA CORE

  • Wow dude very interesting explanation. Insightful.

  • OMG! If this phone doesn't have any unexpected issues, it will easily be the best low budget phone for gaming! Let me tell you why. For starters, specs aren't everything. In fact, at least 50% of the device's performance is dependent on how its *Kernel* is set up. Kernel handles how RAM will be managed, how CPU change frequencies - including whether all of the CPU cores will even work at the same time and if GPU will be used at all. Main reason Asus is said to be focused on gaming is actually because of how they set up their Kernels; Aggressive Mode. (Samsung kernel settings are pretty bad for gaming; as far as I've seen their kernels. They're focused on multitasking in most cases, so you generally need higher spec Samsung device for it to handle the same game.) Now talking about specs. I've done experiments on a number of devices with a number of heavy games, such as PUBG, Crusaders of Light & Real Racing 3, to check what specs do you need to run games that heavy. I found that Quad Core 1.4 Ghz with 1.5 GB RAM is good enough for all those games but FPS lags behind when something graphic extensive comes on (like over 50 players spamming skills in the same place). This was tested on Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime & Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro (2018). J2 Pro has +0.21 Ghz in CPU & +500 RAM but both have similar GPU (SD 410 & SD 425). I was playing Avabel Online on maximum graphics on J2 Pro in a crowded grinding area with a Messenger bubble open. I found that although the FPS was falling behind (game was still playable), the Messenger bubble not only remained open but would also open quickly/smoothly when I'd tap on it. Furthermore, the keyboard would also pop up immediately. What does this tells us? 1. That the 1.4 GHz Quad Core Processor was more than powerful enough for all the tasks running at the time. 2. The 1.5 GB of RAM was more than sufficient for the heavy game (Avabel Online), Messenger & Gboard (Keyboard) together. 3. The SD 425 (Adreno 308 GPU) wasn't powerful enough to handle the game. So now I needed to find out what GPU will be able to handle those games. For this, I tested with Sony Xperia X & Huawei Y7 (not 2018 or Prime one); also considered reviews of people around me that were using higher end devices, up to Adreno 540. I found that Adreno 505 gave good frame rate in all those games (30-60 FPS); max graphic settings in Avabel, Modern Strike / Med-High in Real Racing & Low-Med in PUBG. Regarding FPS, remember that you won't be able to notice a significant difference between 30 FPS & 45 FPS on a mobile phone, unless: 1. You're viewing it on a big or unnecessarily high resolution screen. 2. The game has a huge amount of details that is in constant motion. Therefore, this device is one of the most ideal option available to people that are looking for a low budget device for heavy games. I don't consider Xiaomi because of their moto to live up to the stereotypes of Chinese products. Any phone that can't last at least 3 years is not worth over $60. Xiaomi provides you with extremely high specs at cheap price but still manage to lag, heat up a lot, expires in months to a year with several defects. It's too risky. I've a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime that has been running without any issues for 3-4 years now with the same battery, and you won't believe me if I told you how many times & how badly I've dropped it. It doesn't have a gorilla glass nor any phone case & was dropped from 7-8 feet height once. 90% of its coating/paint on the frame sides has come off due to frequent falls. Its screen hasn't had a single crack or scratch all this time. I recently replaced its tempered glass as it was quite damaged.
