this is such a rubbish phone. waste of money. to all of you thinking of getting one like this, never dare buy it. you will regret. only thing that keeps me appreciating it is that, my grandma gave it to me. but in texting, its not good. its so slow for a fast texter. AS IN. not a good phone. only thing is that it has biorhythm which gives me consolation. apart from that, nothing nothing.

three days back i bout s1190 and it sounds go off, now its handfree, and speakers are not working, i complaint to the showroom frm which i bought, but they refused to change it or repair it. anybody will help me out that i might use the headphones in this set? or how i will solve this problem.

I bought this unit for my daughter and after 2 months the phone went dead,since its still under warranty i bought it back to the store ..it took them atleast 3 months to contact me again abut unfortunately they said they cannot fix it because they have no software available....what kind of cellphone is this that after 2 months its dead....its a waste of money.... Why are they selling this types of phone when they know its defective???? Can I return this unit? What shall I do.....did my money went down the drain when i bought this unit? Tell me what to do???????????????

go to ur call settings. theng go to display numbers menu and set it to yes your pblm will be solved

i have a unit just like this one but the thing just died on me and when i brought it to the repair shop they said that its a dead unit of sort and they have to find to reset it only thing is they cant find a software for this phone. pls. advice me on where can i find a software for this phone, coz its really is handy and easy to use.

have Bird S1190 mobile phone. When I try to connect a call I got the messege "Supplementary service rejected" although its only for Outgoing Calls, while Incoming Calls, SMS (-in and -out) are working properly. How do I get rid of this problem. Please help me out as soon as possible. as i seen your query on Bird's User Opinion forum. do you have got any solution, if yes please help me

bird 1190 the upper ic for screen have removed for the top of the battry connector now which ic i will use to connect it back to display..show me the diagram

I bought my BirdS1190 brand new last year for my niece and it is a great phone for typical users. My 16y.o.niece enjoys the games and her friends even bought the same because of its cool ringtones like swanlake (they're ballet dancers that's why they appreciate it).Overall it has a cool design & easy to carry. Easy to call but you have to be patient with text messaging. Otherwise if you are not a fan of fancy features, this phone is quite excellent for easy use. In fact I'm buying a 2nd hand S1190 tomorrow because I've liked the performance. Cheers.

I bought Bird S1190/287028166, here in Lusaka Zambia, having been attraced by its design, colour screen and user-friendly funcions. I have hardly used it for six months, I am able to recieve calls and text messages but unable to send calls or text messages. After attempting to make a call, it writes 'supplementary service rejected' and then 'active transfer'. What does this mean?

i just bought an s1190 bird mobile phone... amazed with its design... i hastingly rushed to the store and bought one... upon arriving at my house... i was filled with regrets... when i discovered that it doesnt hav any gprs feature and cant receive mmss... so can anybody help me on this forum, on how can i be able to store wallpapers from my computer... could i have a wire connection for it??? the package doesnt include any cable at all... so i doubt if it wud be possible... is the port for charging, also the input for some storage purposes???

My S1190 is a good enough alternate phone. No frills, no needless features - just a good, old-fashioned phone for calling and texting. It's quite light and easy on the hand. And it's colored. The only problem I have with it is, the screen is too small and you cannot adjust the font size. Okay, I'll make another concession. I can live with the small screen. But the small font? When I bought this phone, my Mom wanted to buy it from me because it's simple to operate, it's light and it's colored. She wouldn't have to buy it from me - I could have just given her this phone if the fonts could be adjusted so that text messages would be easier to read. I hope that Bird can provide software upgrades to make the fonts on this phone bigger.

s1190 is a gud phone but i cant find lots of things in mine like the wallpaper on the one here and cant do anything in it like downloads and other things.
