Awesome looking phone, and I love the specs. Finally a new BlackBerry that I can't wait to get, but it does most of us absolutely no good if it is not available in the countries/regions that we want to use it in and with the supported bands that are commonly used in those countries/regions. I am from Canada (the birthplace of BlackBerry) and this phone is not available here, and if I were to get my hands on one from India, it would not work on most of our LTE bands and I would not get regular security updates and such. I love BlackBerry and am a die-hard user but it is becoming more and more difficult to continue using BlackBerry phones if I can't get access to the latest ones.

Loved using the Z10 till mine was actually dead and there were no hopes of revival. Switched to the BlackBerry Key2 and I am typing this from the very qwerty on it and I absolutely love it! Also wanted to buy the Evolve X but can't find it anywhere.

Just get a different phone. The Snapdragon 660 is very low end. Get something like the K20 Pro for the same price it'll be released at and if you're that worried about security just install another ROM. The K20 Pro is worlds faster, has a much better screen, more RAM, more storage, much better cameras, and everything about it is better.

To date, I dont have any phone as my phone BBz10 is not working after replacing LCD Touch screen. I'm not buying any phone yet till my BBz10 is confirmed dead. Wishing to buy BBK2. I'm using BBZ10 since 6 years now but I didn't experience any problem. email, clarity of voice, camera, documents. I can even text clearly outside under the sun that other mobile can not. I love this mobile.

Presently holding BBZ10 unfortunately it doesn’t works any more after I replaced LCD touch screen from Lazada. My son in planning to buy me a latest Samsung phone but I’m not excited of it. I’m still hoping my BBz10 be fixed. At this time I rather no phone than owning a toy phone around. I’ve been using BBz10 for years now. I don’t know when shall I own a Blackberry phone again considering its price.

I hate to say this but...this is not worth your money, I mean, come on, SD660, 13MP at 350 euro? I understand that if you buy Blackberry, you're no buying the product, but the brand. if you have plenty of money and want only to show that you have "Evolve X" then go, but if you're looking for a good phone, good SoC, better cam and of course affordable price, shop around.

Whatever happened to the ' Evolve " X " '??? The blackberry Evolve is available in India via Flipkart and Amazon, but the reviews and competition do not make it a VFM consideration to purchase? becuase at 20K INR[270-300USD the competition is super in terms of specs and hardware and the evolve falls back here. The missing bb software can still be purchase or used, with/without a subscription on any android.

LOL This is the most ignorant comment. I run my own business have endless meetings with clients and numerous mail accounts. I have tried Samsung, Apple and Huawei and none are as efficient and easy to use as the blackberry. If you want a toy Samsung and Apple are tops... Take your selfies etc but def not ideal for business. Grow up!

It's a shame Blackberry Evolve X is announced on August 2018 with SD660... Now it's April 2019 there have been SD670, SD675 SD710 & SD712 (rumored) Many mid range processors announced and out with phones in the market we can see... But this Blackberry Evolve X is not in the picture... But they released the wireless phone charger to charge other phones... Damn shit

You clearly havent used the Key2? After having owned the Note8, Huawei (various Models) and tried other Samsung models, Blackberry is BY FAR the easiest and best phone for business users. If you want a toy then go for a samsung or iPhone. Try setting up email on a samsung and compare it to Blackberry... much easier. Also 1 app for communication isntead of having to open multiple.

I don't have an eBay India account.(I don't plan on opening one either) If this phone was announced and introduced in Aug-Sept 2018 and not yet widely available in December 2018, then it's likely been trashed or the specs altered. Maybe there will be a reiteration in 2019. I hope they keep away from notches or holes.

saw BB evolve today. It is a treat . the soft key pad has predictive words against each of the characters as against being listed on the top band of the key board . With swipe facility on the the predictive words as was there with other BBs as Z30, Z10 and others it si a treat and increases your speed really fast. it makes you type much faster. The feature is just not available on any known phone on the planet. THE BB Hb is again the only feature that makes you look at all communication at single place irrespective of whether it is on facebook, mail or other places. The product was to be launched in August and these guys rae very slow in launching the product and with the result they loose out the market. Hope they will launch it in India now in November or later in December? Not sure whether they will learn from their mistakes and how a superior product looses out to Apple or Samsung?

Are you all crazy? Having BB OS is what killed BB in the last 8 years. Switching back to BB OS now would be suicide. People don't want to develop apps for the BB ecosystem.

What a beaut - finally the best balance between performance and battery, decent cameras, wireless charging and good audio. Shame it's getting such bad reviews in India because of price. I think this is the first flagship-quality BB since the Priv and they have every right to price it in the same range as OnePlus, Sony etc. I hope it gets a global release and am sure it will be appreciated, I would buy it in the UK

The software that was used in blackberry OS10 custom is somehow the software that is used in Apple OS12, for closing the apps and full screen without buttons in the screen, BB was using that in the Z10 years ago, blackberry left the OS without upgrading it, and there was nothing wrong in continuing to upgrade it, they didn't have clear vision, and end up selling most of the company, for what I call it "bad management" I feel if blackberry stick to their OS and continue upgrading their phones with the same build in quality, they would compete with the top companies nowadays. Now, I am not sure if this phone is made by BB or some other company using the name, kind of disappointment about the company vision. This is a good specs mid range phone, but not sure what BB add new for the software part.

He's right though, blackberry isn't responsible for making the phone. IIRC it's another company that is in charge of building and manufacturing "blackberry" phones. This isn't the same blackberry that we used to know, just like how Motorola phones aren't the same as before after Lenovo acquired it.

All these hate comments are from people who love BlackBerry but don't want to spend money on it. Like getting pissed off on girlfriend when she keeps irritating you now and then, but you still love her. LOL. It's a pretty decent phone and if pricing is issue then you gotta understand that Optiemus has aquired license from BB to sell devices under their name. BB will be looking only the software part. So you have to pay some price for secured devices they offer. I've been using BB from many years and the built quality beats all device makers. Remember when you mother says that this generation products are quite fragile compared to products from their generation. It's not the case with BB yet. They're durable products. You gotta pay price for quality, security and Brand name. If you question security about the phone, I would just like to say that even Samsung Knox had to take help from BlackBerry to secure it. Google it. BlackBerry is epitome of Security and if you want it, you gotta pay the price. Now,coming to camera, features, etc etc... Camera quality and clearity is darn nice. Take a look at Youtube where EvX is compared with S9+. Check everything out before commenting. It just makes you look fool.

looks nice though. Blackberry's quality is never compromised only that their price is on the higher side. They should reduce the price a bit and keep producing these designs with a BB skin on top of Android. I would ditch my Samsung seriously. Hope the speakers are great too. I simply love the Blackberry name and logo. Its one of a kind.

I owned BB before and was great but when iOS and Android OS came to life BB drops. Both iOS and Android OS can do a lot of things BB could not because BB is built for businesses not for everyday tap and play kind of thing use but I enjoy using BB messenger it was the hype back then. for this guy who called BB a garbage bruh.. do some research first before you actually call it garbage? As I red your comment 18 moths of use nothing but problem? then why did you wait that long? when problems start to occur after a couple of months then still doe sit for still less than a year you should have change right on?

Blackberry nowadays are not for all people since Samsung and apple and other brands that build good quality phones are around.. Blackberry could not catch up that`s why they switch to android instead of their own OS.
