Ive got the free life wireless BLU DASH JR 3G says Smartphone Android 4.4.2, D191U 1300mAh 4.81 Wh 3.7v Li-Ion Battery. The Life Wireless stopped getting replacement parts to order and purchase for it. My battery is trying to go graveyard dead soon and I need to find another battery for it. Its imperative , I need to preserve and access my texts , info etc on it. If I were to transfer the SIM on it , it will erase my info (texts) I need to keep these. I'll be getting another cell but I have to preserve and access this information either way. How do I find a compatible battery and where are these batteries attainable to purchase reliably?

I bought one of this little guys and i found that is impossible to use and install applications through Play Store. I found this problem to be related with an automatic update of play store (you cant do anything about this automatic update unless you root the phone). It seemed that the update is not compatible with the android version of this phone (too old?). Anyway, i found my way to install whatsapp, facebook lite and twitter uninstalling play store's update (manage apps - downloaded - google play store - uninstall updates). After uninstalling play store updates, go and download the apps before the play store update automatically.

This phone is the worse phone I ever had in my life! Who ever validated the software on this phone must have been a complete monkey!! It has a lot of very obvious bugs whom a 5 year old would have been able to pickup easily!!! I have to go outside & walk over to the other side of the trailer park to receive or send a call. I am going to give it back. I hate this phone. This phone was supplied me through the life line program. Within a few days of use I was unable to install any app due to "insufficient memory" even though more than 14 gigs remained on the sd card that I had installed. I discovered that uninstalling a "google play services" update that had automatically been installed restored normal operation. Since I have no control over automatic updates I expect the problem will return. But for those experiencing any similar issues, try uninstalling any similar updates you can find.

Hi, I bought this phone for myself about 8 months ago. When I tried installing apps it rapidly went out of space because the biggest apps are stored in the phone memory not letting you install them on the sd card. After installing the least amount of apps it automatically asked for updates that the phone itself can't make because of the internal space. I decided to give the phone to my dad because he only uses whatsapp and emails. Nevertheless when activating emails it also went out of storage so my dad decided to use it just with whatsapp and the normal phone functions: make and receive calls, sms. The problem now is that sim slot 1 suddenly stopped working and now he has had to go back to his old two sim dumb phone. Needless to say it's a very bad phone, please don't waste your money on this one. It's not worth even paying $5 for it.

My aunt bought me a Blu dash jr,for some time every thing was good until the batty died i charged it and it was stuck on the home screen so i did a factory restet on it.After word the SD card i had in it did not show up my music and my Apps were not the and the phone only comes with 170MB and pre loaded stuff use about 120 so imagine how use less it is it doesnt even allow you to take a picture with out an SD card.100% Watse,would not recommend this to anyone. If you have a small child and you want to keep in touch do bother to buy this 75% of the time you don't here the call.

Only slightly more useful than a Fisher Price toddler toy. AntiDash is completely right. Except the calls are also so poor quality no one can hear me either and most calls drop or the phone hangs itself up. It does not have the capacity to hold even one game (like DragonStory, etc) without crashing, lagging to the point of not being able to play, etc. You can't use facebook or facebook messenger due to memory problems. I've had as few as 4 text messages and it will tell me that I can't receive messages because memory is full. It looks cute, but I have no idea who could use this phone successfully. Someone who doesn't play any games, get online, text, make phone calls, or use most apps. Seriously, it's only slightly more useful than a Fisher Price toddler toy, but more frustrating.

here are some tips for this phone. set ur phone to store apps on your sd card. if you try to install apps and it keeps saying not enough space ,first you must uninstall the UPDATES FOR GOOLGE PLAY STORE APP ,REMEMBER UPDATES NOT the APP ITSELF. then try downloading and installing the app again, just remember everytime the app updates you have to uninstall updates to download another app. its a problem with the software. you need to go into the app setting to allow all your apps to be stored on your sd card

All y'all have to do is reset the phone in backup and reset, then select the option to write apps to SD card. The 196mb internal memory is shit, but ive figured my way around it. Also, try not to install huge apps, or apps thats bigger than say 40mbs and install a cleaner to clear junk files and clear ur cache often.

You get the insufficient space alert if you set the apps to download straight to the sd card, you have to download it to your phone then move it, and don't install the google play update, i used mobogenie for my apps and i never got the alert again

Purchase BLU Dash JR in June and it's the worst purchase I have ever did. The phone is slow when you download something from PlayStore it say insufficient memory. When you dial someone it wouldn't dial, it will dial when you dial another number. It always erases your contact from your from. So please DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PHONE. It should be taken off the market good.

according to me this happens because you haven`t configurated it in order to sending the photos to the memory card, go to adjust and select sending the photos or whatever you like to the memory card, that`s is all you have to do

I don't think it uses a full size sim card - those are almost the size of a credit card. I think it uses a mini-sim, which is 25mm x 15mm (approx 1" x 1/2"). The micro-sim is the next smaller (15mm x 12mm).

Perhaps due to its pricing, its functioning as a smartphone is severely lacking. The Dash Jr lags in scrolling, opening an app, carrying out a request even shutting down and starting. Placing a call takes between 30 to 90 seconds before it even displays that it is placing a call. Space is extremely limited internally with only 512mb of which a sparse 160mb is accessible to the user. You will constantly be asked to delete data to make room. Battery life is terrible. as a dual Sim phone it barely makes sense because the battery dies twice as fast with two Sim cards installed. I had to remove one for it to last a full day. when I added a Data plan it last anywhere from 2 to 3 hours. Overall my experience has been a frustrating one. But I don't want to leave you thinking that it all bad.for the first half hour after unboxing it I had fun.

I have read other persons post and i have downloaded the mobomarket app on my Blu dash but my games wont load plus the phone is still crying out for low memory even though my downloads are saving on my sd card. Can somebody suggest solution?

The same thing happened to me and i even ended up deleting some apps and continued to clear data when the notification came up��but i realize that by using mobomarket to download apps, games and themes instead of google play store, there is no longer any mention of low space.

mine only came with 160 mb of free memory and keeps crying for low space even when all of my apps are on my memory card and it also prevents me from getting more than 4 applications as it say there is no space. I have a 8Gb memory card and only used 1gb and now cant get anything else on my Sd card as of the low internal memory

I purchased this phone so I could enjoy all that one would do with an android. Everytime I try to download FB Mobile it takes about 45 mins....then says error "Cannot install app in default space" Whatever that means. There are no instructions on how set up voicemail...but when I call voicemail it asks for my password. I don't have one, therefore I cannot set up my voicemail. I'm paying for Data yet I rarely get it. This phone is ridiculous. I paid 35$ for it on a special offer. I wouldn't pay 10. The touchscreen only works when it feels like it. There are no instructions. Whoever designed this wannabe Android needs a swift kick to the brain....or an I.Q above 5. I cannot even save pictures to the stupid thing because I have to purchase a micro SD card. I'm very uphappy with this phone. I would like to warn all people searching for a smartphone to STAY AWAY from this phone/idiot box.

to download from google play log in to google from your phone to link it to play store,use wifi preferably,enable synchronisation in settings,and once registered and synched you should be able to download,it is also wise to use a memory card as the phone only has about 160-200 mb free storage,depending on the software originally installed on it,with voice search and google search apps on phone and calender,it was only when i connected to internet on wifi all of them worked with no problem for me,i also downloaded 2 apps from play store that use 2g network(data has to be turned on) and cell tower position to show my approx. location.this cheap phone covers most of the basics for me.

this phone does not have gps,it only has assisted gps,although it has less ram one must use cache cleaner and task killer regularly,most apps work well,camera only good in day or brightly lit areas,phone is easy to use and good as an everyday backup phone,google maps shows me about 1 mile away from my actual location,so i have to compensate for that,calls and media volume and sound is good,downloaded a few apps from play store with no problem,wifi locates networks and connects easily,a simple good android.to download from play store make sure accounts synchronisation is enabled,turn on data,and use wifi preferably and you have to link your phone to your google account.good battery life also.

someone wrote about how hard it is to figure how to use this phone and they are right . it took a few days to figure out how to download apps. Basically you are on your own , everything you have to set up on your own The instruction booklet doesn't help at all. i cannot get on the internet unless i am in a hotspot{ WLAN]. this phone is annoying me and my acquaintances that calls , or text me. also it doesn't alert you that you have text messages or missed calls. overall this phone get a one if you ask me.

Very difficult to learn how to use. The built in skins are not explained in enclosed book. These skins makes most Android instruction books not usable. I would like a link that helps new Android users.

I had the same problem with downloading and getting onto FB and such. I put a micro SD card in the phone and it works fine now. I am having a problem with speed and general issues though. I have some Chinese porn like downloads that have appeared out of no where that I cant seem to get rid of.

It does not have wifi, cannot download games, etc. get on FB or internet. Just got the phones 12-16-13. Bought for grandchildren, but they are dissapointed. I will take them back to the store & hope they can fix the problem.
