BLU Energy XL - User Reviews

  • one day I connected the phone to a Wi-Fi network from the mobile hot spot of a friends phone, and the message for the update came into my phone, just tapped download and its nice now, only problem is that don't think will be another update after that

  • How do you update this phone to marshmallow Android 6.0. It's a nice phone for the price, great battery life but I'm stuck on Android 5.1

  • already on Marshmallow, hope to get nougat soon

  • Is there a difference in the sim card used in his than from a note 4?

  • This is an option you set with your provider and does not at all depend on the phone that you use.

  • Recently purchased this phone because my long time Note 4 began to have problems I couldn't fix, wanted another large phone with a clear AMOLED display. Battery life is FANTASTIC, I feel like I have been set free from the charger cage. Phone quality it poor on ATT. Screen is very easy to read. Stock UI is weird. Love the "Fake Call". Phone doesn't have NFC. If it lasts as long as my Note 4 then I'll be super happy. Overall, my Note 4 was probably faster, not sure, but ATT loaded it with so much bloatware and crap, I couldn't tell. I had to install the Nova Launcher on both phones because I'm very specific how I like my phone laid out. I had to by USB-C cables since this phone has it but now that I don't charge but once for a few hours at night, really doesn't matter. Good phone, not high end, but nice. Hope it lasts!

  • Are You Sure This Phone Have Dual Sim? Thank You So Much !!

  • The phone does not have call setting ? One cannot HIDE numbers during outgoing calls .

  • it's on ebay

  • Currently BLU is involved in a lawsuit with Blackberry

  • Note 4 is outdated , better hardware but outdated and G4 dies after 3 - 4 month of regular use... good luck with your choices

  • Why is this phone unavailable on amazon currently?

  • it actually supports 128 as well -- i have a 128GB sandisk micro SD in right now with no problems

  • Love the phone no lagging issues no network hiccups its just a great phone worth having

  • Yes lte works on my daughters phone and I did my own post about the phone I bought for my daughter.

  • I got this phone for my daughters birthday in late aug 2016 ... it is a very well made phone ....... the one downfall that I wish and hope will be fixed in a comparable future version ..is...... add more LTE bands .... 2,4,7 is not enough ... att uses 17 a lot and tmobile uses 12 a lot. So you have 2 primarily tmobile LTE and 4 primarily ATT LTE and 7 is for what? Canada? But it's only 299 brand new .. I would gladly pay 349 for this same phone with the additional LTE bands I mentioned ... well maybe add band 5 too..

  • just waiting to see if it gets any update !!!

  • 64 ..its say it on top

  • does this phone's LTE or 4g LTE doesn't work at all?

  • yes it does, mine is working properly!! but is better if you have same amount as the internal storage so it could be a balance between internal/ external memory.

  • does anyone knows if this phone will support an 128gb micro sd card?

  • MicroSIM

  • What size SIM card does it use? That's what I came HERE for.

  • People who buy this phone are not buying it for brand or the best camera function. This phone does what most smartphones should do and that is offer great battery life. I just sold my Note 5 and LG G4 because their battery life is paltry at best! I don't play games all day, but I do watch a lot of media content and text and email and make lots of calls and I cannot stand having to worry about being near a charging source because my $750, "flagship" phone cant produce the juice needed, yet a $300 phone can with ease. It comes down to what you need and what you use. The only real hesitation would be, the LTE band support.

  • Yes GSM you also say Lg G4 is quad core and it is hexacore

  • Yes but those are old used phones where ad this is Brand New, I've bought 2 note 4 and both were out if warranty giving problems

  • really 300$ for this? you can have a GALAXY NOTE 4 on that price or also you can get an LG G4, this people is high

  • the problem with this phone that it has a very limited support for 3G & 4G LTE bands

  • AR, in regards to Pokemon Go stands for Augmented Reality. This function allows you to use your camera to see the pokemon in the real world on your phone. In order for this to work on your phone the device needs the Gyrometer Sensor. Without this sensor, Pokemon Go will still work, you just will not be able to see the pokemon in its AR setting.

  • AR = Augmented Reality its a functionality of the game it does not have anything to do with your phone

  • can you answer my question or just being religious with your self?

  • are BLU smartphones CE labeled ?

  • can some one tell me what AR tool is?? Im planning to buy this phone but im also a pokemon go player, but as my current phone is an uknown brand from the depth China, I think the brand of my phablet is LING LING hahaha just joking I have a 6.0 ULTRA DIGITAL PHABLET, but sometimes launch the camera on pockemon go and askme to activate something related with AR but I don't know what it is please help

  • Yes it supports AR, you can download the app from the play store

  • Yes, this phone will play Pokemon GO in ARmode. It has a Gyro.

  • Does this phone play pokemon go and support the AR tool?

  • It has a SUPER AMOLED display, not IPS LCD. Get your specs right gsm.
