I bought the vivo v1 :-) 15999/- a month back.I realise many time suddenly other side's voice becomes very low ,you cannot able to understand what other person is saying.I pointed out to service centre they are same like other service centere people sorry sir we dont found any issue with the phone. I am sure either there is problem in network reciever circuite or in the speaker .but I know they will not accept this. Service centre people are very shrewd while dealing the customer

I thouhght the Amigo styled UI would help make it easier in transition to Android. Is yours running on 4.4.2? Also, do you have double-tap to wake and sleep? Ive had the phone for about 4 months and I love this phone. I have at&t monthly and hspa+ is fast as hell on this phone I cant even tell it dosnt have 4g. It also dosnt support NFC but i dont use that anyway. Otherwise this phone is light fast and super thin. There is also a XDA thread on how to unbrick this phone. And KINGO ROOT will root this phone no problem. The only thing that sucks is that no developers mess with this phone so there are no custom ROMS,KERNELS, or tweeks for this phone. But once you use Nova launcher or anorher user friendly launcher the phone has a really uncomplicated UI and light apps that are pre installed. Over all great bang for lour buck IMO.

This tipe of companies are called ODM ( original design manufacturer) u buy houndred or thousands of smartphones and u can put your logo on it and change the specs if you likem in romaania the and in the some contries in the EU the phone is called Allview X2 Soul, in UK Prestigio Grece. BLU simply rebrands products from china whit their logo, BLU is not a manufacturer as the say on their site

Hi there how did you down load the launcher and what carrier you have. I have simple mobile service and after update my blu vivo IV to KitKat the internet slow down it feels like 2g now and it was working pretty good before with ice cream sandwich. Any suggestions

I recommend getting a launcher for the phone, the amigo ui really sucks and slows the phone down, and I rooted the device when I got it to get apps to improve performance.

I really like the phone, it's great! Good performance and speed, handles graphic intensive games well. Also a nice camera and I love the look of my black version. It looks like a chunk of obsidian. I got updated to kit-kat which improved battery life around an hour. Gets though a of heavy use easily and lasts me around two days from full charge, which is okay. I don't like the Amigo launcher that came with the phone (gives it an odd look) and changed it to lollipop launcher. Great phone, high quality phone for people who don't need the latest software or 4g.

With the name, you have to specify your APN provider. Simply type the name of your cell service provider as it appears on other phone in the APN spcace with your name off course & save. This should workout. It took me a week to figure it out

Got the phone for a hot deal in eBay bout used from first time owner for 210... I simply love it great screen feels amazing touch responsiveness is great, I worked in the cellphone industry for years and I've had multiple devices this one coming in at a great value its more than your average bang for your Buck, camera is solid, battery is average to be honest the whole 4g is whatever I'm good with hspa+ one thing I'd like to highlight is the performance of the octa core its stunning I've had no issues and I look forward to see what else is in store for Blu* .cheers to all but my rating is 8.7

I have bought this phone & Life One X about s month ago through Amacon after checking previews. I was hoping to use it overseas. I hocked up both phones on a US SIM card for couple of minutes & both seemed to work fine. When I got back home & connected both on my local sim, the Life One X worked flawlessly & connected to Internet & wifi; however the VIVO IV IS NOT CONNECTING NEITHER TO WIFI NOR internet. Hey i bought the phone use in simple mobile network. Is not that good service some times bar goes and come. Not steady. Also camera quality is not good at all. Memory is not less 16 GB. Both are same price but LIfe Pure is much better

Case comes with phone. Battery life is good but drains with screen on. If screens off there is next to nothing with drain. You probably bricked the phone and didn't install the correct update as the updates are not posted online like you suggested. You need to go to the phones about page to update. You do not need to close all appsto save battery. Lastly this phone is extremely light and fast. IPhone fanboys need to stop acting like they owned this phone wen they didt

Hi about this Vivo IV I had it for 14 days and when I received a notice to update the wireless software from Blue then phone just die. I have not been able to use the phone so I was able to return the phone to the store. I got my full refund and just when to buy and IPHONE 5s. It was good for the 14days. Few problems with this cell. 1.It has a tendency to get hot while walking on the sun 2. You must close all apps that you are not currently using to safe battery life. 3. the speaker is not loud enough to hear a call due to having the speaker at the bottom. 4. no case or you can't really buy a case for this cell Good Points. fast fast fast Camara 1-10 scale 7.5 because it doesn't have image stabilization. Wonderful Screen for videos and LARGER SCREEN Rocks!

I have this phone about 6 months now upgraded to kit kat and I'm using Google's Nexus launcher battery has improved I can see the difference with the kit kat upgrade doesnt drain as much as it did do I miss LTE nope I currently have this phone on metro and I'm getting a consistent 9-12mbps which is great super amoled display the design is a great feel talk about thin I think thinnest phone out I give much kudos to BLU cameras are both awesome and all this for 299$ unlocked 2gb of ram 16 internal they didn't go wrong with not including a SD card option it would have slowed the phone down and besides everything now a days is cloud storage I'm happy with this purchase plan to go with

After using it for a week, it's an overall good phone. While it does have it's disadvantages (mainly Blu software) it's hardware is great. The screen is amazing 5" is the perfect size for me. From what I've read, the screen is samsung S4, the camera is a sony and it shows, both perform very good. People complaining about battery life don't own the phone. A typical user will get through a day. Yes there is a software issue w/ BLU, where the batt plummets when you take it off the charger then it slows down at around 80% and continues to discharge slower and slower. Prob in between my HTC one M7 and Moto X in terms of batt life. LTE is not missed at all, I have AT&T and get blazing 7-12mbps DL speeds, (about the speed my iPhone 5S was getting on tmo) in everyday use it feels the same as LTE, because it is mostly. If BLU would get there act together they could easily improve Batt life by 20% and with Android L seeing 30% improvement over that, this phone could have a very significant batt life. It hasn't been out that long so I'll wait to see, a Kit Kat update is promised any day now. As for the lacking BLU software, well that's the beauty of Android, use you favorite launcher and you will be fine. As for the processor speed it seems very quick, it's a hair behind a iPhone 5S speed which I know is very fast for the market right now. MediaTek is not as optimized as Snapdragon or Apple's A7 so it can still get even faster, there is a lag here and there where you can tell the software isn't smooth. Games run fine like they do on my iPhone 5S. Heat can be an issue for some since it's made out of Metal and Glass they are more conductive materials than Plastic, so you can feel it heat up faster, the plus is it also cools down faster. I'm use to it from my iPhones, if your used to a Plastic phone you will complain about heat. Overall this phone has amazing potential to be an outstanding phone in the near future with a KitKat/L update. It's not about who's name is on the phone for me, if it was I would just have an iPhone and consider nothing else.

The Blu Vivo IV is a great phone but it gets hot when you play games and sometimes when you watch videos. I think its a common issue with blu's phones because i use to have the life pro and it gets hot when i do these things listed above. The battery life is okay it lasts like around 3 to 4 hours of use depending how you use it may last the whole day.The display is amazingly great and the speaker is also great. The camera takes great picture so does the front facing camera. In conclusion, the Blu Vivo IV is a great phone if you dont mind the hotness and the kinda low battery.
