BQ Aquaris X2 Pro - User Reviews

  • @Nonononki : it has USB-C input, yes (like the Aquaris X/X Pro). But it has no display port. Also, there is no 240 fps for the camera. Only 30-60-120 fps (1080p / 720p).

  • Pretty sure this phone (and its sibling X2) got USB 3.1 with Displayport. Please update!

  • Vsmart designed by BQ phone

  • After my second Android phone died naturally because manufacturers decided to stop maintaining their software I decided to go for Android One. The only phones in reasonable price range and well balanced specs available were Aquaris X2 Pro and Nokia 7 Plus (I would say they are almost clones). I chose X2 Pro 64/4 because it's smaller, has better display, camera and sound quality. I was not disappointed, especially with the last one - great stereo effects, clean and strong (when it needs to be) sound from headphone jack, much better than on iPhone 7. Whatever BQ does to get such results on mobile, they should continue their good job. However I quickly noticed that not only phone but also accessories are hardly available. Only few manufacturers make screen protectors and cases, and official ones are quite expensive. If this is important to you, better get Nokia because it's more popular. Other things I didn't find on online reviews - quite bright display on minimum darkness - slow transfer between pc and phone. - speakers can play in stereo system. - firmware 1.5 supports VoLTE and LTE 8 band - there's some confusion about USB-C port: it is USB 2.0 with OTG and Display Port support.

  • you forgot bq aquaris c!

  • I have a BQ Aquaris X5 Plus. When I bought it i was joking what the superhard \"Dinorex\"-glas would be. However after a month it got between the door of my car, was bended seriously. Still it works and the screen was still without a scratch. Really trust BQ for doing good phones!

  • This BQ X2 Pro has been my choice after some years owning a Galaxy S6. I love the reasonable size of its screen, perfect to carry in the pocket and far away from the phablets and their monopoly of the 6" in the premium phones. I was considering the Compact series of Sony although they are too thick for my liking. A good camera and the optimal performance of the 660 do the rest. I just miss the wireless charge to be perfect. Well, the guarantee of Android One has also been decisive. I am keen to receive it : )

  • The best phone with a removable battery would be an LG G5

  • Well, if you are looking for phones with removable battery, you have almost no option out there anymore... I suggest you forget about that

  • I was looking close to this new Aquaris but it is mentioned that the battery is not removable, so it has less interest for me. I am really surprised that batteries are not removable anymore for new mobile phones whereas the battery is a key item. I am still looking for a mobile phone with a removable battery :) Is there one ?

  • Cat 6 modem. Stains the 660 handles cat 12 that would have been better

  • Mi8 will be far more expensive. Wait for the real price of official Mi8 (not imported) This one costs 330€ the cheaper 4/64 version. Mi8 with taxes and official warranty would cost more than 500

  • To be perfect, it just needed IP67 pra IP68. Anyway, i Will very likely buy it, that displayport Over type C Will Come very handy. But i don't know if I prefer the Xiaomi mi 8 instead. For a bit more, I get a SD 845. If this phone comes with android One, it Will a really hard decision.

  • Do you know something about music quality, i have Aquarius x5 plus and I am very happy how it sounds.

  • Smallest screens??? Funny. This one is really big compared to its battery.

  • Its not that big either :) 5,6'' with a modern "full screen" design, one of the smallest full screen phones out there

  • The phone has good features against the modem cat 6 while the 660 manages the cat 13 it's a shame not to use the latest network standard the phone would have been perfect

  • It has QC 4+ and USB Type C with display port, so its probably 3.0 not 2.0

  • Well maybe but its too big for such a small battery.

  • Disagree... -Very good hardware (SD 660 is pretty good) -Very good screen (BQ quantum color screens are one of the best IPS on the market) -Good cameras -Excellent software (Stock Android one with two years of support and 3 years of security patches) -Up to date design with small bezels, and overall quite compact size -Quick charge, audio jack, fm radio, NFC... What more do you want for that money? I remember you its HALF the price of a top flagship!

  • Man had some dirt on my screen now i know that.

  • Well i know now. Had some dirt on my screen.

  • Sorry anyway for 400 quids its too much phone is not worth that money.

  • Get a life bro. It's f/1.8, not as you said. It's a double camera "Samsung S5K2L8, 12 MP + Samsung S5K5E8, 5 MP" And it supports Google Lens. So clearly a mid-range+ good quality camera.

  • If you read carefully its a F1/1.8...

  • The camera has f1.8 not 2.8

  • The camera is horible 400 eur for F2/8 like wtf.

  • Nope, it has nothing to do with BenQ, it's a Spanish company.

  • Is this the old company Ben Q ?

  • 390€ (4/64) 499€ (6/128)

  • 390 $ price is ok.

  • SD660 and Android One? Then this phone can be a great contender to Nokia 7 plus, since this phone has SD660 and is Android One too, just like Nokia 7 plus.

  • The will be good phone just because it has no notch..

  • There is no notch..!!! oh my my..!! Totally it's unbelievable..!
