Great Phone, easy to use, decent battery back up, good picture clarity, auto focus and flash are up to the mark. Drawback: Speaker broke down once, it was replaced free of cost within few minutes but again the speaker is giving trouble [noisy]Battery is not tight to the body it keeps getting loose. My advice is do not use cardboard it makes the problem worse.Each time this problem happens your phone will shut down and you need to open the casing and fix the battery again to get it working. But still I say it is a great instrument.

Its max life is about 12/15 months. After that the mouthpiece stops working, ie, you can listen to incoming calls but cant talk back. Then the phone stops receiving tower signal. But for the first one year it works okay. I had bought 2 sets and same is the case with both.

Celkon 118 is very nice and affordable phone in view of its high resolution camera and display.battery backup is also good.But when I play racing games like pocket rally, burningwheels it hangs very often and i need to resume again and again its very annoying.I think this phone doesn't support racing games even it has quad core processor.

Hi rvk i would like to suggest you to buy ckon a118 becoz you will going to get almost all the features in it which are greater then xolo 800 and canvas a110 . The main thing is screen resolution you will get a vast screen resolution of 720*1280 which is very good as compared to xolo which have 540*960 resolution and also it has a4.5 inch screen but celkon a118 has 5 inch screen if i talk about micromax canvas a110 it has only 512 mb of ram and a screen resolution of 480*854 and also it has a android version of sandvich but celkon has the latest version of android but the only diffrence betwn them is that celkon is slightly higher in price as compare to them..... But even then i willl suggest you to gp with celkon a118 as it is the best

Hello. I have sorted four mobiles for buying. They are XOLO Q1000, ZEN 701 HD, GIONEE ELIFE E3, CELKON SIGNATURE HD A118.CPU performance of all these phones are quite similar. Can anyone suggest me one among four given above based on the below given parameters? ->Good display(good colour reproduction, wide angle view, sharp contrast) ->Good camera(good daylight and still photography, good quality recorded video, above average low light photography) ->Good music(in earphone, external speaker). Celkon a119q 12 mp camera and celkon a118 camera 8mp are the same. Both have 8 mp camera. In celkon a119q the camera is made to take 12 mp pictures by software interpolation. Quality does not change significantly. Look wise, having usb otg support, etc. A118 is better. Guys, I have made a CWM recovery for a118. It is in the facebook page as well as on xda. For fb page, add /groups/celkona118 after the fb address.

well Features wise these three are best. Celkon A119Q Signature HD, Celkon A118 Signature HD,Micromax A116 Canvas HD. Actually it depends on your need.. if u need not to insert pendrive on ur phone then go for Celkon A119Q . it will be the best choice. bcoz of 12 MP camera and 2100mah battery. Rest all things are same... And what about Canvas HD and Celkon A118? the answer is: both are same and have same features. (both have 8 MP primary camera and both supports USB OTG and all features are same) except some. Hi guys, I like to share my experience of my new mobile Celkon A118 Signature HD with you. I got this mobile at Rs 11976 from INFIBEAM. Celkon A118 Signature HD is one of the finest product in its segment.(Rs.10000-15000) Considering the fact that it is not so well known brand in the market, it has come up to my expectation pretty well. Bought this after going through various reviews , user comments and comparisons on multiple websites. I had been a little skeptic at first but then I just went for it and now I have a phone that makes everyone jealous around me specially the display of the phone. Both the cameras are awesome and takes nice pictures. The quality of the product is excellent. Am using this phone for past one week. No lag so whatever. Has stock android 4.2.1 Prince of persia s&f worked without lag. Battery backup is decent. 8 mp camera is good. Front 3 mp camera is nice. Hd screen is cool. Touch is awesome. This phone is quite light as compared to other cheap mtk quadcores. I have uploaded camera sample on youtube. Search therw. Also there is group on facebook for more pics of this phone. It looks premium but build is plasticky. If you care for tour mobile like a baby, then no worries. :-) Usb otg works well. Mouse worked. Pen drive - ran 720p mp4 directly through pendrive, no lag. For more details/ queations please search the group on facebook. Celkon a118 signature hd. For 10899 this is a nice phone. I will recommend it if you are planning to buy a phone that you will use for at least one year

Well Specifications seems to be all great for such a low price comparative to high end mobiles from well familiar brands. For cheap price you get cheap product. That means.....you will end up in wasting the money. My advice for buyers is. Before buying mobiles from unknown brands. Make sure you do certain things... Call the customer care of the company and then nearest service center for answers to these questions.... *.How long software support will be there. *.How long spare parts will be available. *.OTA updates. will they support are not. According to my knowledge all the mobiles in india that come with MTK chipset are mostly generic custom manufactured by chinese. I doubt they even have any kind of R&D department of their own(i'm not talking about assembling units). Anyway, let me not break your interest by increasing the unnecessary doubts. Go check the mobile use it and feel it compare with known branded mobiles. Then make a decision(Don't buy any mobile just buy seeing specifications or advertisements) please don't get fooled by specifications and advertisements. My advice is for all the mobiles that come with MTK chipset in india.
