I bought this from snapdeal.com, initial few months it worked fine, but with in 6 months, it screen started getting blank/black, so incoming call one can not take. Then it ring became silent, even when profile was on ring, so important calls started getting missed with bad reputation, finally even out going voice started muting and only way to talk was to use earphone. Despite i wrote to snapdeal and celkon both none took any responsibility, and i wasted 12000 in it. Never buy any Celkon product.

This phone is very good. I m using this for the past one year. I can bet, no one have ever used this phone like me. In a week I will change 3 to 4 operating systems. And I do play heavy games. Right now I'm playing d-day front line commando. Con's: Software No covers (very very bad. Searching for months) How can you get the best out of it: Take off crappy is given by Celkon. Follow XDA and install cwm and root. Then search google for "lia 504 custom ROM". This device has same hardware as of a119q. There are many is, install the one you like.

I too had the same problem. The strongly suggest not to go for Celkon brand. The service center never tried to solve the issue. I had a complaint of speaker and mic not working, I have given for service 2 months and they intimated that the problem was resolved but once again it persists. Even the call centre of the company does not work.I have been Fed up for buying this crap.

I recommend not to buy this piece of crap. 1. camera don't respond after closing the camera. need to restart mobile for camera to make it work again. 2. most of the apps only get installed on phone memory which is getting full with google apps alone. ex: google search, no option to move to external SD storage. 3. heats up badly near camera. need to restart to bring back to normal. it again starts heating after few hours without even using phone. this may be the reason for poor battery life. 4. I don't feel the power of Quad core. if i open 2 or 3 web pages, active page only gets data, remaining back pages are kept on hold. background web pages should also need to be downloading required page data.

I have taken Celkon A119 Signature HD from Big C Punjagutta,on the next day itself the charging port was not working. When i have submitted the same at Celkon Service center, they said that Charging port has to be changed. After arguing with them they have given me new device. The new device also got the same problem after a month. When i contacted the service center they said they can't change the device but can change the charging port. I have got the same charging port problem 3 time on each month, later in the month of October'13 i have submitted the device at service center for Motherboard changing. After changing the motherboard i device got the same problem in the month of March'14 (4 months later). Now when i contacted the service center they are saying Motherboard need to be changed again. Nearly 5 times charging port has been changed and 1 time mother board has been changed. This is a pathetic device which i have not seen till now.

Anyone having problems of unlocking the phone as the display is blank when the power button is pressed to unlock please disable the auto brightness feature and keep the brightness to manual. This is a permanent bug with this phone so its better to avoid the auto brightness feature. To disable please go to setting-display-brightness and uncheck the auto brightness box. Guys the phone flash is a bit dull but acceptable for this price range. The led flash is in complete auto mode so if you manually turn on the flash while taking photos it automatically adjusts the intensity of flash according to lighting conditions. Secondly anyone using the proximity sensor for unlocking please download free app called Tap Tap which works fine for me. Been using this mobile for around 6-7 months now and I had to get the OS reloaded twice as it was corrupted and the service center people could not provide a proper cause as to what is leading to this. I have bare min of apps/games loaded on the device and use the phone for light browsing mostly. Also since a month after my purchase the power/unlock button started giving problems as mentioned by one user. Don't buy this phone. I'm using this phone for nearly 4 months and I'm facing these problems 1)MAJOR PROBLEM: The display ON/OFF (i.e Power) button does not works properly, you cannot open display when needed(sometimes wait for minutes to unlock display). So, I have installed proximity screen lock app(but that too not works properly). 2)The LED is useless, its not bright enough to take pictures or as to use as torch. 3)Every time you restart your phone, the ringtone changes to default ringtones. Need to change every time again and again.

the 12 mega pixel camera, is as good as any high end mobile and far more better than any 8MP camera of the mobiles under 25k and obviously much much better than canvasA116 HD.. and the over all build quality is amazing and it feels like u are holding a high end mobile of over 35k like samsung S4.. the only flaw i found was tht video calling is good but not great as the front cam is mere 3MP.. hats off to celkon for pulling it off!! its a gem for 11750.. yeah i took my risk of going with a new brand but after using the phone, i feel its totally worth it.. i just hope tht this performance stays consistent and there are no second thoughts in my mind, if u want the best mobile under 15 or 20k this is the one u shud go for.. my rating 10/10 considering the price.. a very happy celkon A119q user.. this was my story..

Celkon a119q hd has a GPU. GPU is powerVR SGX 544MP2. This is the most incredible GPU. I phone 5 has powerVR SGX544MP.. so gaming and performance is as good as iphone 5.. tht should clear things up..

gaming is gr8.. all high end games play buttery smooth.. aslphalt 8 or iron man 3, dead trigger 1 and 2.. the review2 on youube is fake and it of A119 not A119q.. A119q is quad core where as A119 is dual core.. my a119q plays games like call of duty strike team easily without lags and ttht game is huge arond 2GB.. pitty small games like sub way surfer, temple run 2 and minion rush are like peanuts.. no issues what so ever.. yeah but if u play heavy games whose size is more than 2gb like NOVA and call of duty continuously on 3g or wifi then battery would last only a day.. you would have recharge the phone in the night if u had recharged it early in the morning.. these days i am busy with exams so dont surf alot or play games on my mobile.. i charge it once a week or 4-5 days.. great experience till now.. evn without rooting Antutu benchmark is 13880 which is just great.. tht antutu score itself should tell you about gaming and performance

I had bought this phone from indiatimes.I must say it has been loaded with some salient features.The touch is good,good battery backup,big and bright screen,camera is also great.It has an efficient processor along with 1GB RAM which does help in playing HD videos and latest games pretty smoothly.But the only complaint that I have is regarding the availability of accessories.I'm from Calcutta but havn't got any positive feedback regarding the flip cover and screen guard.Rest all is fine.Hope the company progresses fast rectifying these minor problems.

Hi all you need is a screw driver to help you open up the 12 screws on the back. Be sure to remove the sticker on one of the screws without damaging it as it might void the warranty of the handset. After unscrewing all the nuts insert your fingernails forcefully but carefully inside the center of center right joint of the cover and move it around the edges to unhook the plastic locks. When you have unlocked all of them then gently lift the faceplate and you will find a small ribbon wire connecting the power button and the back plate. Pull it out with screwdriver. Now you have access to the front and rear camera and the display. I would suggest you to not touch the camera lens or the display with fingers or any kind of cloth as if you put even the tinniest amount of pressure the camera lens might be damaged or the display may get scratched. I use a super soft bristle brush generally used for makeup as it has high density bristles yet its very soft. Repeat the steps in reverse to assemble and make sure you put back the warranty sticker on that screw. For any details do mail me at [email protected]

got this phone a month back.. gr8888 phone.. amzing camera, my frend bought canvas A116 instead of celkon and now he regrets it.. in all aspects celkon a119q is better.. benchmarks are better, battery backup is way more and camera clarity is 10 times better in day light and in dim light its twice as good as canvas.. evn gaming experience is way better and absoulutely without any lags.. in my frends phone Asphalt 8 airborne is very laggy and unclear but in celkon a119q its buttery smooth and amazing.. great display, flawless touch..totally happy with the phone.. i saved my pocket money for quite a while to buy a phone and feel pleased by putting it in right place.. Kudos to celkon for puuting out such an amazing phone at such affordable rates..

Yes you are right. Dust enters directly inside the camera lenses and also inside the Screen. In my phone dust has covered a part of the screen (from inside) and hence screen looks dull now...cannot enjoy HD screen. Pl tell me how do you dismantle the whole phone???

I have compared my phone picture quality with other phones like samsung , micromax and other phones and found if not better then nearly equal in term of quality.There may be some noise and blur in pitch dark photos but in bright light the front camera and rear camera are solid performers. Are you sure that the front and back camera lenses are clear of any scratches or dust because in my phone dust tends to enter the inside of the lens and have to dismantle the phone entirely to clean it up. Or you might still have the protective piece of plastic on the lens when the phone was unboxed the first time.

I have read many posts complaining the same problem Infact I am using the same sandisk class 10 card but have not faced this problem. Try using a different card of any size or class and also try restoring factory settings and restarting the phone. But before that make a backup of all your important data like messages, mails or contacts etc. If this does not work either then I am sorry to say the most irritating thing that you need to contact your nearest service center for assistance.

In my phone the gps works fine. Google maps find the location almost instantly. But to get an accurate location fix you may wanna step outside or clear of tall building and heavy tree cover. Once you get a fix then there is no problem. You might have to go to settings>location>gps satellites>epo settings and then press download. And make sure that epo is enabled in gps settings tab.

Hi Guys, I bought this Phone yesterday from BigC. It cost me 12500. Build quality is Awesome with premium looks. processing speed is very good(ofcourse, 1.2 Quadcore). I must say that anyone who prefers camera can easily buy this without a second thought as the pics and Video qualities are awesome. multiple videos (around 10) play in the thumbnail at a time. gr8.. Display is very very good. I have played Deadcrossing game very smoothly with out any strucks. Felt in love with this phone. I got 23 hours of backup by now with average amount of internet usage and around 1 hour of gaming. It still left with 16% Battery. I will undoubtedly advice this phone for the people who are interested and depends on feedbacks as i do.

If you have the right model because there are 2( a119, A119q) and the only difference is OS and processor then it should be a quad core. The A119q has a quad core processor. Please download cpu-z from google play store and run it on the phone. It will give all the details that could be possibly displayed about your phone.

Take it to Service Centre and give it to them for repair/replacement and take official receipt. If issue not resolved in mentioned timeframe, reach their head office in writing and give some lead time to resolve issue. If still not then reach consumer court. However, I am facing one trouble with this mobile...it's camera stops responding frequently and I am not able to figure out what is the problem. Also I am not able to access gallery from whatsapp application in safe mode. After camera hang, if I try to access camera from other applications like wechat, or whatsapp...they hangup. CELKON A119Q HD ROOT FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL REPOSTED. ROOTING Procedure - I followed this guide - 1) First download the MTK65.. drivers from below mentioned site link - under Step1 "here". This site will ask you to login, better use fb authentication for download and later remove it from fb. DONOT try to install the Drivers just now, just extract on your desktop in a folder and leave. Thread - Direct link - Not sure if it will work directly. Just download MTK USB drivers from here around 8mb. 2) Make sure now to Hookup your phone to your laptop with USB. Donot think that if phones storage options are visible then device drivers are installed - NO they are not! 3) Enable USB debugging on your phone from Settings > Developer options 3) Now Go to Device Mgr or Details in Win7 or XP under Control panel->Administrative tools->Computer mgmt->device Mgr and try to find -- Others shown in yellow(for XP) and there if you expand you can see Celkon A119Q. Now right click on it, and search for drivers and point to the location of the saved folder on ur desktop. If finished properly then Celkon A119Q will not be visibe in yellow under Others tab. 4) Download and extract Auto Root package in a folder on your PC ( you can do this any time) 5) Go to the folder you extracted Auto Root package files and run the "run.bat" file by double clicking on it Press any key to continue It takes max 8mins to finish if your drivers are properly loaded in ur PC else in 5th step after pressing any key to continue the command screen will show 2 lines like phone not reachable and opening some port and then will wait endlessly but nothing will happen. Take help in loading USB drivers from here - The drivers work on Win XP and without admin rights (For my PC, tested; however i have superuser rights on my PC, not admin though) Happy Rooting. After that you can use - Titanium Backup to remove all the bloatware from phone like f-secure, yupp tv, mango etc..

Voice echoes to other person while talking on speaker phone, as speaker is too close to Mic. No solution, I guess.. 2. Back cover creaky and not properly fitting only on top right corner near charging point. Get rooted; search my old posts for complete step by step procedure of rooting. After that use Titanium Backup app (free version on google play) will do. Just download it and use it to cleanse the bloatware ( default apps like - Antivirus, Many browsers, and any other app u dont like; Make sure to back the app by titanium backup before removing them.) It will give u lot more space and clean environment and no more seeing opening one thing in many options. I cleansed too many things and my version is lot more leaner and i think i do have more space as well, as FB and antivirus alone takes i guess approx 200mb.

I would say properly clean the backside lens cover. Please see if the cover has got scratches or not. also Open the back panel and thoroughly clean the camera lens with fine cotton cloth, same like reading glasses. Apart from this, if still the same then I would suggest to tweak your default settings of camera like EIS ON, modes as auto and pic quality as medium for all, also try lgcamera app and see if there is a fair difference or not. If it works same in all other camera apps and no improvements then visit a service centre i had say. For me I am using since mid june 13 rooted and I am more than happy with it as camera stock app gives much better photos then lgcamera or any other app. I have only issue of camcorder refocusing on subject continuously while shooting videos, and as of now i dont have a solution for same. Rest I am more than happy with my phone with quad core and screen density 300+ppi what else can I expect in 12k. OTG - whats that and who cares? Its better then my samsung S2.

Guys I am having a peculiar issue with camera. In 12mp mode, while doing video recording, it continuously tries to refocus the pic; specifically in night time/low light. I have tried various options but cant sort it. It only works okish in 8mp mode or lower with video density equivalent or lower than 640*480; however when i shoot with lgcamera pro app; it works smoothly as there is no autofocus issue but as pointed out by shiju earlier; the video is not so clear and neat as in default app. I wish if someone can help me how to deactivate autofocus in video mode.

But i think in our phone we cannot restore the backups once decrypted. U ll lose all the datas. Best way is juz factory reset ur phone in the settings.

Encryting will slow down ur phone. Thats y ur games got stuck in between. You must run the decrypt process in settings and then backup and factory reset. And then you can restore all settings. Also remove all your accounts before doing this thing.

Actually the voice recording has nothing to do with storage sapce...mayb some virus in some of ur videos or files might have caused it. Mayb its coincidence. I never faced any such issues till now. So cant say wats the problem exactly. There is a setting in video recording.. Turn on microphone...

Have you tried to tick 3g somewhere? If yes then it should work, if No then ask ur operator. Under Mobile Networks you may find this option, and keep docomo default for video calling also. You might be currently using 2 sims in phone and hence confusions. Try only docomo for sometime and make it default for all.

About the games u can see my previous reviews. Pls dont say small games like temple run. With such a great specification always think much better. I have downloaded almost 30 games or more each games which are more than 500 mb. There was no lag in any of the games. And about camera its the best in this range. Rooting is equivalent to be an administrator of your windows laptop. On your own laptop you can install or uninstall anything and you can do anything whatever you like. However Most phones come with their roots or say admin account locked in windows words and you can only install some apps but you cant remove or customise any system apps. for example- you can install and uninstall many apps which you have downloaded on dtock phone but you cant remove celkon's crap boatwares like celkon live, yupp tv, mango etc. Being rooted gives you all admin priviledges and you can remove what u dont like. Also if you are into development/coding side of things then you can very well customise ur phones 4 cores and clock its frequency from 1.2 to 1.5 may be; install custom ROMs and what not. For me Rooting helped in cleansing bloatware and helping me to keep only one app for one task viz. for internet on stock phone you have around 4-5 browsers - waste of space and battery. And gave me few tweaks which i was looking for, as of now i am looking for a custom mod in camera, not sure if i can get it. Disadvantages - You can accidentally brick ur phone or remove a system app which may make ur phone unstable/useless - however chances are remote as linux kernel is unlike windows which is purely based on interfaces.

I today tried few more apps and I am happy to announce to all that you can very much do 1920*1080p full HD video recording :D Just download a free camcorder app - lgcamera and it will give you an ultimate control on camera and you record all of your videos in .mp4 rather than 3gp and also you can set various parameters as well as records full HD videos that too also after customising bit rates. I juz downloaded a game called gangsta vegas from zippy share for free. Its a paid game. 390rs. And in play store the reviews abt the game made me think twice before downloading. Its a heavy game with 2.5gb memory. The reviews are like even in nexus 7, samsung galaxy note 2 and in htc one x the game is stucking.But i took the risk and downloaded it the entire night. Glad to be of help to a fellow A119Q - may i say Celkonian :D Must Apps - for me - 1) Saavn 2) Cleartrip ( due to regular air/rail travel requirements ) 3) SMS backup+ 4) Bhagvad gita etc. for spiritual purposes 5) Any good antivirus as of now you keep using f-secure for a month and if you are convinced with it then u can buy paid version for a yr for around 499. I removed it as i rooted the phone and didnt wanted anything interrupting with inner shell commands. 6) Freecell solitaire :D 7) Chess Free 8) GPS Status 9) Dropbox ( The best app I have ever used, just love it. 10)Call Recorder 11) Viber 12) Whatsapp 13) Titanium Backup (if rooted) 14) Twitter 15) Mobikwik; however you have inbuilt app for mobile recharge as well; so just based on ur own preferences. I have used mobikwik in my old samsung phones from a very long time and got habitual to it; hence. 16) Swype keyboard ( called as swype+dragon trial; the best keyboard, also free) ; available on samsung phones by default though. Dont signup for their cloud etc. crap just use as stock over AOSP keyboard and once u get used to swype keyboard, i can bet u will never ever type the regular way. 17) Applocker - u dont want others to peek in ur important apps,sms, calls, pics, videos :) Overall - just go in google play and just browse try all available free apps first and only later if you are fully satisfied pay for it; dont buy anything with closed eyes. Also in this forum you can contact Ojassurya and shiju; as i believe both use a much more wider variety of apps, based on one's preferences.

I am still using my Samsung galaxy phones; and I can really vouch on camera quality as my samusng phones pics were nowhere close to this one. I would really advise you to please read the manual carefully and also please try cleaning ur camera's lens cover; as this cover is under a small polythene, please verify if the polythene is there or not; if there remove it else clean it with a soft cotton cloth. Inside the camera settings choose EIS on and Pic quality medium for all i.e. sharpness/hue etc. Also Try to take photos in reasonable light and try not to shake; however due to higher megapixel count the camera lens needs more lighting to produce the image inside its processing engine, but for that the shutter remains open for longer duration and that's where the shake comes in. This phone does have back light with camera; but it's not a speedlite :D Lower megapixel count cameras show clearer picture is because there lens shutter is open for lesser time and hence the shake is not visible, however remember the depth of pic is low i.e. density. Try doing various testings with camera and you will find a good setting for ur usage :) good luck and if still any specific query, please ask.

Its the default backup app in celkon. A stock app, it came preloaded. If you can see the watch symbol it is round and in black color and the backup app is somewhere nearby to it and it is also black and round and just says backup app or utility, i think. In titanium backup you can scroll to all apps system+user and in there it should be visible. It was visible to me, however i removed it accidentally and that too without a backup copy :( and hence asking for help.

Speed is same in all phones as the chip is same i.e. mediatek. It is as good as any other 3g smartphone based on mediatek 6589 chipset. If in doubt you can always buy any other brand but make sure u compare their SOC first as most smartphones are based on mediatek soc and only outer shell customisation is different n price wrt brand to brand.

ROOTED :) ROOTING Procedure - I followed this guide - 1) First download the MTK65.. drivers from below mentioned site link - under Step1 "here". This site will ask you to login, better use fb authentication for download and later remove it from fb. DONOT try to install the Drivers just now, just extract on your desktop in a folder and leave. Thread - Direct link - ­ Not sure if it will work directly. Just download MTK USB drivers from here around 8mb. 2) Make sure now to Hookup your phone to your laptop with USB. Donot think that if phones storage options are visible then device drivers are installed - NO they are not! 3) Enable USB debugging on your phone from Settings > Developer options 3) Now Go to Device Mgr or Details in Win7 or XP under Control panel->Administrative tools->Computer mgmt->device Mgr and try to find -- Others shown in yellow(for XP) and there if you expand you can see Celkon A119Q. Now right click on it, and search for drivers and point to the location of the saved folder on ur desktop. If finished properly then Celkon A119Q will not be visibe in yellow under Others tab. 4) Download and extract Auto Root package in a folder on your PC ( you can do this any time) 5) Go to the folder you extracted Auto Root package files and run the "run.bat" file by double clicking on it Press any key to continue It takes max 8mins to finish if your drivers are properly loaded in ur PC else in 5th step after pressing any key to continue the command screen will show 2 lines like phone not reachable and opening some port and then will wait endlessly but nothing will happen. Take help in loading USB drivers from here - The drivers work on Win XP and without admin rights (For my PC, tested; however i have superuser rights on my PC, not admin though) Happy Rooting. After that you can use - Titanium Backup to remove all the bloatware from phone like f-secure, yupp tv, mango etc..

First install the drivers for ur phone on pc using the file which u have downloaded. Install the mtk6589 auto rooter that u have downloaded. Then connect ur phone in usb debugging mode( settings-developers-tick usb debugging) . the next step is juz click on the run icon in auto root folder in ur pc . click on it. The rooting process will start. U ll b asked to press any key to continue. Ur phone will get rooted and rebooted automatically. Check for supersu apk..

If you are trying to make 3G work in it; then no need to any settings as such. However just make the docomo sim default for video calls and data; as well as under mobile networks click 3g against it. Buddy, Its a big phone with 4 cores and one of the highest screen ppi density and hence naturally the battery consumption is at higher side. Also to compensate this celkon has intelligently put a bigger battery of 2100mah rather than cost cutting type of mmx canvas 4 or karbonn s9 2000 mah batteries. 100 mah might not be big as number but it matters on real world usage of phone and also both other phones ppi density is lower than this. This battery taken longer than 4 hrs easily as well due to simple reason the idle mode screen usage also consumes battery for display. howver in my opinion this battery also gives more juice out of it corresponding to its 2100 mah number and a good standby of around 2.5 days with minimalistic internet usage. Make sure for initial charges you follow manual religiously i.e. first 5 charges must be of 14-15 hrs and completely drain out the battery before recharging. and try to do that while phone is switched off. It will give u better battery life and more juice. Enjoy with one of the best phone in market :)

Anyone who followed Micromax Canvas 4 may be highly disappointed now :) Celkon A119Q beats it hands down in all departments except internal storage? But who cares when u have the facility of moving apps to SD card. And bigger difference is u pay 11250/- for A119Q whereas the mmx canvas 4 is whopping 19k i guess. Tried real racing 3... It got sometime to get into the game. Wen i 1st opened it my mobile got hanged. Then i had to remove the battery and restarted it. Next attempt it entered into the game. i'm so happy using this product, though felt few cons : 1) video records in 3gp format. 2) battery drains very fast even when connected to wifi 3) charging takes around 4 hours or more! do you move your app n games to sd card? if not then always move it to sd card.. always reboot two times in a day .. before downloading large files always check the downloading speed of your connection.. it ll better if u do it in early morning as it gives much better speed.. if u are downloading from another site then u ll hv to activate a setting named 'unknown sources' in system setting-security..

That depends on a person using it. If u love your phone , be it of any brand.. u would make it last longer anyhow. Also these 2 Brands cannot be compared on "last long" basis, coz both r almost same in terms on after sales service (I hope mmx aint worse than celkon..I hope both r equally worse..since they r just developing brands and not developed brands). As of now they both nullify each other.. Canvas HD wins over OTG and A119Q wins over Camera (i.e pic and video quality) Rest EVERYTHING is same. Pls correct me if I am wrong ..

If that error is coming afetr a long time while "downloading" the game..then that is purely due to slow internet connection. But sometimes in wifi connectivity also the apps at first attempt show error while downloading and in the second or third attempt they get downloaded successfully. I am not using celkon. Im using Canvas HD, but due to my so very slow 2G connection I have faced the same issue in all my android handsets used till date. I hope I helped. If the issue isnt this then apologies in advance.

Hey I use canvas canvas HD. I can say that 4.2.1 update gave a drastic upgrade in screen quality.. Pic quality in low light and of course apps able to move to SD card and access with otg cable.. If u want best pics video and screen quality.. Buy celkon.. It will give way better pictures than canvas hd.. But if u buy micromax.. Make sure that ur piece doesn't make u visit service center.. U will regret it.. I updated my canvas hd after hell lot of pains given by service center.. And they just took 5min to update.. If u can update canvas hd buy it.. Else celkon is the best choice.. Dude seriously.. Celkon would give u great pictures.. I have used it.. U r getting 12mp rear and 3mp front cam at 2k less.. If otg is ur concern.. But canvas hd..

Welcome :) One more update from my side on this phone; I removed the screenguard of my phone to feel the actual skin of the phone. and guys i must say its butter smooth or better then that. If anyone of u ever used a samsung galaxy series or guru (old) u might catch the premium quality difference of glass easily. This glass is way superior then i have used anything, including micromax a116 hd of my bro as well. I am quiet happy with celkon and hence i have not prebooked Micromax a120 :) i will wait if celkon gives one more winner to us.

Hi, Today I connected usb cable to my pc, then went to settings -> in wireless&networks I selected More..-> there Tethering and portable hotspot ->there again USB Tethering, then my pc detected the "Remote NDIS based Internet Sharing Device" and installed in windows 7 as well as windows 8 pc, ( I tried in both the operating system machines). There is no way u can do reverse teethering afaik. The simple solution is if u use windows 7 on ur pc then download a program named 'Connectiy' or 'Mobile hotspot' and u can use it to make ur laptop a wifi router; i.e. these programs make ur PC's wifi card a sender also and then u can connect ur phones to that network fairly easily like u r connecting to any other wifi network. These programs are free, however may be 3G/tata photon dongle support is paid, for which u can search for full cracked versions :)

guys use a class 10 micro sd card and in settings enable GPU rendering.. it wud surely take ur antutu benchmarks in 14400+ range.. when i first got my mobile evn my score was just 13750.. but later i changed Micro sd card and enabled GPU rendering, nw my average antutu score comes around 14500.. and highest i got was 14870.. while running antutu make sure there are no other processes running in the back ground..

Yes dude u can play gta, nfs in this mobile. I personally tried many games like gta3, gta vice city,nova3,dark knight rises,nfs most wanted, asphalt7 heat, blood and glory, fronline commando2, and some more high end games.everything running smooth. Loading time was also normal. But in nova 3 loading time was little more but the game played ultrasmooth. Make sure u download game datas for "arm7" processor or powervr gpu compatible datas. No dear am not facing any issues like that. Not even a single time. There is something faulty with ur handset. Or maybe ur memory card has some issues. Try formatting ur memory card. Factory reset ur phone and if still problem persists, Go to ur nearby service center and ask them to do necessary actions.

Not very sure what u r referring to. Best guess is u want to delete apk n files of removed apps? Then u can delete them in ur sd card through file mgr directly. and u can delete what all r needed to be deleted. if u r not sure then delete as per best guess and android will create back the folders it need. Also in sd card enable option of showing temporary files and u can see all files as well.

Buddy, You can kill what all u like no worries. Android is linux based and kernel is not looped in semaphores endlessly like windows. In plain No threads are h/w dependent and u can delete / kill whatever u like. P.S. I have been doing it on all my phones and No worries. Also no need to download xtra things for doing app mgmt, just go to the default task mgr or way said by shiju :) Also there are lot of cache cleaners out there, download one from playstore free simple and easy and make it to run in background from phone startup and clean in intervals of what u desire :)

If u dont want any apps to run in background u can adjust it in the settings- Developer options- dont keep activities.. Or in opera u can make an exit button- go to settings -advanced- tick the exit option button..and keep an exit button in opera. And to close the recently opened apps long press the home button and all ur recently opened aapps will be shown. juz drag the recent apps to the side so it closes. Or juz use a task manager to close the running apps with no default exit buttons in them.

And both the phones are good by performance. But mmx lacks much behind in camera compared to my mobile. and i have tried with many high end games too. The proximity sensor was not working due to the loose display.I called the celkon cusmoter care and they asked me to goto the nearest service center and get a DOA(Dead On Arrival) Certificate.I will be getting the DOA certificate on Monday.And the service center guy said that we can easily fix the loose display and showed the proximity sensor working.My Question, is it better to go for DOA and get a replacement or fix the display at the service center and get the phone immediately.Since I got it from snapdeal I don't know how to send it back to the dealer. ITS A FREAKING STEAL FOR UNDER 12k.. i placed my order on 31st may in the morning on snap deal using 2 discount coupons [ELX6]..i got delivery the next day evening as i live in delhi.. i got it forgot a Rs11750 with cover and an additional 32gb scandisc class 10 micro sd card.. 11750rs= phone + flip cover + 32GB micro sd card so for under 12k i got a phone with almost 34gb storage as only almost 2gb of phone memory is available.. the display is simply amazing considering its price, i feel its much better thn its main rival canvas a116HD and is similar to most of the other high end mobiles.. the screen display is full HD, crsitle crisp and clear.. camera clarity is very good.. Full HD recording is amazing.. if any one wants to buy this phone for the cam, its totally worth it.. taking out door and indoor pics at HDR mode are amazing.. if u are nature lover and travel alot taking snaps, with frends and posting the pics on facebook or twitter, thn this phone is tailor made for ur specifications.. 1GB RAM and the quad core processor is flawless with instant reaction of apps without any lag.. my first antutu score was 13880.. gaming experience on full 5 inch HD screen is awesome.. i opened 16 different apps on multiple windows and the phone wasnt ready to give up on performance, it simply wud easily let me switch from one to another app without any single glitch... i am a bad loser, so i kept on opening apps and games and wanted to see the maximum core point of this phone till it gives me a hinch of lag.. and yes i was eventually the winner after opening 32 diiferent apps and windows running the same time including 8 web browsing pages at 3g network, thn the phone started to lag in its response to tapping the screen.. battery back up is very good.. if u are a moderate user it wud easily last atleast for 2 days.. on heavy gaming and 3g net use it eaily lasts the the whole day with almost 30% battery remaining.. now for the cherry on top, the 12 mega pixel camera, is as good as any high end mobile and far more better than any 8MP camera of the mobiles under 25k and obviously much much better than canvasA116 HD.. and the over all build quality is amazing and it feels like u are holding a high end mobile of over 35k like samsung S4.. the only flaw i found was tht video calling is good but not great as the front cam is mere 3MP.. hats off to celkon for pulling it off!! its a gem for 11750.. yeah i took my risk of going with a new brand but after using the phone, i feel its totally worth it.. i just hope tht this performance stays consistent and there are no second thoughts in my mind, if u want the best mobile under 15 or 20k this is the one u shud go for.. my rating 10/10 considering the price.. a very happy celkon A119q user.. this was my story..

I dont see anything which is good in micromax canvas hd except OTG support compared to celkon. Celkon a119q has so many good features when compared to micromax.. -- camera is great 12mp and 3mp front. Photo quality is superb. -- Its slim, looks gud and has good build quality. -- Battery is nice.. i played asphalt 6 and temple run for almost 4hrs and used wifi for 2hrs and talked much on calls.. still the battery lasted a complete day n more and moreover no heating after playing games.. --Sound quality is nice --Display is superb and color representation is awesome. Thanks, however the settings are already sent by BSNL as message, as soon as I inserted my SIM. However when i try to install them, My phone asks some pin? its weird i believe. Thanks for advice buddy; however I am a very old Android user, right from the times of froyo's :) and i have rooted all of my samsung phones (galaxy series) and yes i like to mess with codes :) and i very well know the warranty stuff but u r wrong that it voids it. It only voids it if the service centre founds that u rooted it :) u can always hard reset it and put the manufacturer rom on it, as i have done it with my SCH I559. Also, try rooting ur phone and u will be amazed as to what u get :)

i own d canvas hd. i am very much happy with it. otg support in canvas hd sometimes proves to be very very useful. v cn evn attach a mouse or keyboard with it. this is d only feature missing in celkon a119q. . but specs wise seems to b a really good phone 1.77 gb user available internal memory in canvas hd is troublesome. may b an upgrade to 4.2 can solve this issue. android 4.2 version 12 mp cam r two very good features in celkon a119q which give it an edge over canvas hd. plus some changes in gpu. good product from celkon

note: a-gps location setting greatly helps to decrease the sattelite gps fixing time.. so to get fast gps ttf(total time to fix) click n active both a-gps n gps settings.. n on your data connection to fix a-gps first n then use gps.. in my phone now it takes min-10 sec and max-45 sec to fix..

for gps: go to system setting-access location then click the gps sattelites on then go inside it click the EPO assistant-click auto download n download the assistant certificate then go back n click n activate the a-gps assistant too then go to the google map n there click the navigation option given in upper corner side setting when you'll click it'll take you to the google maps location online settings there click to activate the access location.. then go to outside to locate fast coz it takes more time to locate the location thru sattelite gps inside the room.. but a-gps'll give instant results here.. and yes dont forget to click the wifi&a-gps setting to activate in system setting-location access.. enjoy!

Celkon comes with good handset a119q and people needs to support Celkon whatever way they supported MMX. Its really good cell I am really surprised with pic quality, screen and speed. and at a price of 12k no mobile(indian mobiles) offers all these features. quad core cpu, good gpu, HD display (IPS), 1 gb ram, 12 mp real camera 3mp front camera. even though other mobiles offers many of these features I ll point out the drawbacks. micromax has all the features exactly as celkon but only thing it is lacking is in the camera (only 8mp rear) and at 2000 rs higher than this mobile. 2. karbonn also has many of the above mentioned specs. but camera is 8mp, there is no HD display but price is slightly below celkon. and 3. xolo q800 also offers good specs but in that also there is no HD display, camera 8mp. 4.zen ultrafone 701h also offers the same specs as celkon except the camera. in terms of reputation and popularity micromax gets the 1st place , followed by karbonn followed by celkon. guys now decide which mobile to go for.

yes u guys r right. I too find snapdeals service a bit odd. their customer care talks will be very pleasing but there will b nothing in works. they say u wil get a cal today and we wil get it only after 1 week of continuous torture. so getting a replacement or something for the product got from snapdeal in a dificult one. it takes them half an hour for them to pickup our cal and we wil lose around 20rs for a single cal for 1 min (the rest of the time in hold). I personaly feel that they should appoint more customer care executives. replacement or anything from snapdeal is not as easy as flipkart. beware of this.

I had compared MMX CAN HD UI with Celkon there are lots of features included in it not sure its coz of version or celkon has done a good job but really enjoying the experience. Like migo theme different colors for UI n many more. M not sure about GPS It tries to search for turn by turn navigation but not working for me.

Have got the device yesterday, since its new so every things look great. 1 word awesome in this range n found better than canvas HD but it will work for year??? after all its china. yesterday had 2 experiences to me. 1 camera shutter sound I disabled but every things disabled itself. 2 I put airplane mode but tired to back on network and after long time and tried resolved the issue. don't scare its software issue but hardware is awesome. My recommendation is go for it it will be happy after purchasing.

Yes Display brightness is better than canvas HD, i take screenshot of my display and i set my brightness to 70% . color saturation is great and also viewing angle. i didnt play full hd video so far but in this display they will perform awesome. It has IPS display.
