I've had many smartphones , and can honestly say I vote Htc one xplus as one of the best. for its time it was top notch ( and I've been using it on -off for about 10 years ) it still is . If there had been a software upgrade I'd have never changed it .

Bought this phone Nov 2012. I can say that this phone has real build quality. Android OS is very outdated but thanks to that, the phone is still good. Camera now sucks but who cares for a 4 yr old phone. at least i can still use this on games, call/text and even web browsing. The only problem now is the power button which is hard to press but its ok. Once it died, I'll just buy HTC 10.

I am using this THC 1Xplus for last 3 year. There is no problem till now. But if you play with games it will produce more heat. Even i install more Apps but i not even face any hang for last 3 years. Now i am facing problem with internal battery backup. I tried to check with HTC service center, none of the service center ready or have storeup battery in their place even in bangalore and chennai. I am struggling to change my battery. My suggestion should not buy mobile with internal type battery.

One X has 32GB of internal storage, I believe that the 4G version, which has the slower, dual core cpu and no lossless BT connectivity (only A2DP) comes with 16GB but I'd sooner have the storage than the 4G coverage, especially as I'm in a UK country which has no 4G coverage nor any hope of any being made available.

Love this phone, had for over 2 and a half years now, now having massive problems and cant find answers anywhere! I have one and I'm very happy with it. it's my second HTC phone, my first was the desire S. It's my favourite company for sure. My boyfriend has the ONE X and it also runs perfectly.

I have been using HTC and this is my second phone from HTC. MY first was wildfire and now I using HTC oneX plus. I was using just for standard and now I really understand HTC is one whole shit company because they charge a lot for phone and does not meet the quality. My phone bottom 3 button's are not working and when I searched almost plenty of people have same issues. My Warranty just completed and i have maintaining good looking but no use because of this major problem. I have been using HTC One X+ (64GB Variant) since 18 months. Honestly, this was one of the best phones at the time but somehow lost its charm to other phones. The most obvious drawback is the battery. With moderate use, it drains in about 7-8 hours flat. I carry a powerbank to make it through the day. If you are traveling and don't turn off data/network, the phone will die without any use in 7 hours. Second, it heats up real fast. Sometimes its difficult to talk and if forced to use an earphone. After 18 months of use, the phone jack has started malfunctioning, phone audio volume has died and network drops frequently. To have invested Rs. 28000 just 18 months back, I was expecting the phone to be worth it. Totally let down by limitation in OS version. HTC doesn't allow any firmware update so I am stuck with 4.2 Jelly bean while dirt cheap phones flank latest versions. Can't use any android wear. Such a shame!!

I have this phone since 2012, it is great device, however camera is failing after 6-9 month of usage. In this time I had camera replaced for my device, and it still failed after half year. I got on other one x plus, ant camera failed for this one also, so in my case had 3 times camera failure, really disapointing. Sorry, but I will try other brand now, I was HTC fan for over 5 years, but camera problems just made me leave this manufacturer.

Spot on mate. Great phone but desperately let down by awful battery. Manageable if you sit at a desk all day as you can leave it plugged into your pc but try and go for a day out somewhere and by lunchtime you're phoneless. To make things worse the phone is a sealed unit so you can't change the battery either and after two years use mine's pretty much had it.

I am using HTC one x 32gb model s720e it has some battery draining problem . If I charged phone 100% in night and switch off the phone after getting early morning if I switched on it will drain battery level to 14% battery low . It show . If don't switching it off it will not get drain soon it will show in morning above 88%.level battery indicates. So I am confused what is it's problem is software or hardware . Nothing wrong with the phone. Getting hot, just not a problem with hardware. I can solve the overheating problem just like that. Disable all the apps that have Google in their name including Google service framework, Play and market feed back and just don't forget the boss Chrome browser. (Even if you don't use them) . Use built in Android browser.

Hi HTC, i am using this phone from the past 1 yr. i am happy with its Audio and Camera clarity. where as the main cons are: 1, Battery life, i'm an average phone user, it drains alot. 2, ear piece and loud speaker volumes, they are terrible(very low) 3, OS update??? i am really fed up using the old school Jelly bean, while some phones from samsung, sony and even from HTC are getting a kitkat updates which are way lower than ONE X+ (Price wise and spec wise) I bought this phone in Hyderabad, India for 28000. Samsung S3 was 27000 and note 2 was 32000 and sony xperia z was 30000. All those phones got an kitkat update and LG Nexus 5 is getting Android L, even though they realeazed flagship phones. They do value their old customers and release constant updates for their previous phones.

Decent device plagued by the worst battery life I've experienced in a device. Great storage, awesome screen, good performance. Camera is OK, nothing to really write home about. Handset speaker is on the quiet side; need to clean it with a soft brush after a few months. Bluetooth range seems kind of weak. Battery life is terrible though. A complete deal breaker. Even on standby with all power saving options on it will drain itself down after a few hours. Device will die in 7-10 hours with very light usage (less than 20 minutes of screen on time during the day), 5-6 hours with moderate usage, and 1.5-2.5 hours with heavy usage. Once it his 20% battery life you might as well say its at 0% because after about 10-15 minutes it will drop like a rock and turn off. You can't even charge the device while using it since it will drain faster than the stock charger can charge. Phone tends to heat up with some moderate usage too. Overall the battery life kills it. Would not recommend unless you don't mind charging this device throughout the day.

This phone's been going rock solid for almost one and half years now.. it hasnt hung on me even once.. I've used 3 other smartphone models... but this has been the best to date.. The display is excellent and very vivid.. giving bright colors.. the beats audio packs a punch... Thumbs up to HTC!!

I have to agree about the poor battery life. It can't last me the whole day and I'm not even a heavy user - just some texting and social media use and the battery drains a lot. It's that bad. And yes, the battery heats up easily; even when I'm just surfing the internet. t's just ridiculous. When that happens, it will lag terribly. I've installed some battery saver apps; they do help a bit with the battery life but not much. It's my first time using HTC and I expected it to be good but it's a disappointment. I've been using this phone for less than 2 years. However, some plus points: 64GB capacity, it's slim and pretty light for a 4.7 inch phone. Verdict: I wouldn't recommend it solely because of its poor battery life. You wouldn't want a phone that doesn't even last for at least half a day.

I have the ONE X+ since 10 months..performance wise its really outstanding.. Here are the list of Pros and Cons i faced: Pros: 1.Great UI and touch sensitivity 2.Great Display 3.Good camera(though not the best but acceptable) 4.Smooth and Fast Cons: 1.Poor battery(with continuous data use it lasts hardly upto 6 hrs) 2.Worst service by HTC I dropped my phone from knee height and surpringly the screen shattered(i had dropped it quite a few times prior to this but nthng happened).But my touchscreen was working fine and i cud still use my phone. I send my phone for repair and HTC charged me INR 10000...thts ridiculous..For a phone costing 28k should we pay 10k to repair just the outer glass..not even the LCD or the touchscreen panel?

really, jaggasingh is talking like a iPhone salesman. HTC One X+ is the best phone among S2,S3,XperiaION & iPhone4 i've used. Battery lasts for 2 days in normal use & half day in case of lot of browsing/downloading &/or gaming. Suggestion for users: never overcharge your phone, this results in the degradation of your battery-power, i did the same mistake with my previous phone.

It was left forgotten the day it was announced by HTC. 6 months since it went on sale and was declared none upgradeable by those lazy bastards at HTC with their lame excuses. HTC never again. Samsung at least updates it's flagship phones. Now I'm on Sony and it's running the latest android version. Released with 4.3 and got updated to 4.4 in less then a month.

Notice that on Android phone, you can save some battery by turning off the Google Play default apps update notification setting. This can cause quick battery drain on my phone and slow responsive problem. I think this is a general problem depending what apps you have on your phone and Google play may check app updates frequently and use up more battery.

I have gone through 5 of these devices under warranty in the last 10 months due to the abismal battery life, the battery has no staying power at all & god help you if you want to run any apps on it, it has been sat today (awaiting latest exchange) with no sim in, not connected to wifi, & has gone from 100% to 80% in 4 hours!!

Setting here doing my reviews for Cnet this morning and I must say, Some marketing firms dont get it. I have had my one x for almost 2 years now. I can say this is the toughest phone I have ever had. I work for Dish and this phone has been put to the test. I use the camera everday and it still works like the day I got it. The screen is tough and battery life is great it stays charged for days . I have had it wet so many times I cant count and dropped it off of ladders many many times on to concrete. try all that with an iphone or an Samsung. I use it for my main server now in my house, it runs circles around any desktop or laptop I have ever seen The only upgrade I will make will be a one x 64. If you want to run with the big boy get one. Best phone ever!!

The phone performance is great, heating problems are fake, the phone is working very nice, for those who said bad reviews, enjoy your 1$ stupid phone... Battery life is ok, same as s3 and better than iPhone 5. Materials used to build it are much better than Samsung, Sony and others... Maybe iPhone is better than HTC. I recommend it!

Nope absolutly not worth changing a One X for an One X Plus unless you have trashed your One X and wanted the closest equivalent.I have a One X Plus and it has the distinction of being the first handset to go faulty on me in ages. A lack of expandable memory, 4G and poor status info (won't indicate HSPA+ for example) means I would avoid. Of course it has some attributes like brilliant sound quality for music but there again so does most BlackBerrys

You're right, htc one x+ does'nt support all video and audio codec. Especially AC3 audio codect. But when I upgrade to 4.2.2 jelly bean, it does support mkv video format but still the movie is not smooth. I suggest you download Archos video player from playstore. It does support all video and audio codects. It runs perfectly any of my video hd or full hd.

When I got the One+, I bought it because I was very pleased with the Nexus One what was a HTC as well. But since I got the One+, Bluetooth and GPS wasnt working well. After a software upgrade a few month ago, Bluetooth is usable but the GPS is anoying me a lot. Like when I am sitting in front of a red light, 30 sec later the GPS thinks I am turning already. Or when there is a street a couple hundret yards besidde the road I am on, the GPS shows that I am on that road even I am not. That is anoying me a lot. Never again a HTC. Can't wait for the new Nexus 5 since I am hoping that works better since Google is behind that.

I have used the phone for 4 months I should say the display, Call quality, wifi reception, Camera under sunlight and audio quality from Beats audio is superb. Coming to the problems. 1) Phone gets heated up a lot when you play games or use 3G. Even if you play small games like candy crush the phone gets heated up too much. 2) My phone had screen flickering problem. On all edges of the screen it would flicker. I got the screen replaced for free as it was under warranty. 3) Camera quality under low light condition is very bad. 4) Battery drains a lot when used in 3G or games played 5) The camera glass which covers the lens behind is made up of poor quality. Just within one week you will start seeing scratches. A good case is a must. But the look of the phone is gone with the case.

Really surprise how great is the quality of onex+ after falling from steel staircase over 20 steps with only small scratch on its surface which could be the first to impact with surface after slipping from my pocket. My onex+ is rooted with 4.2.2 sense 5 version. never experience any worse lagging issues or restart problem. and it's 9 months old. I can play all graphics intensive games with minimum lagging issues at max setting..

I've bought HTC oneX+ Nov. last year and put a matte screen protector on it. My siblings says that the display is awful. not clear enough for an expensive phone. But I don't mind. Then recently my siblings bought Xperia Z and SGS4 respectively and with my screen protector being scratched by my dog, I've removed it. They were amazed how my phone looks today. Black HTC OneX+ almost 10mos old no visible scratch and the display is gorgeous. Xperia z has been outmatched and I prefer more my LCD2 than SGS4s AMOLED. It's my 1st HTC and I'm planning to buy ONE this Christmas sale for a huge price drop.

Every phone heats up when you are really using it hard in a way of playing hd games continously say for an hour or half just like human people playing any Sport. i have used an s4 and an s2 and even iphone and they all have same heating issues. So it all boils down depending on your own usage. But total performance is good. And it has a very nice camera(front or back).

Cant comment on heating issues - as not experienced them. The Phone is great the One is better. Butterfly S even better as it has huge battery and Micro SD slot - but is subject to availability. However given the X+ is nearly a year old shouldn't you look at something newer?

I have been using this phone for 2 months now.....the battery life if horrible like 7 hrs - 9hrs...and gets heated up with light weight games too... Its the best for music and while watching HD movie too it hats up like 50 Celsius very inconvinient to hold....... i suggest you quys to go for nexus 4 if u are gaming and concerned about battery life...but the display on Nexus 4 sucks compared to HTC One X+ and Audio too... Both has its pros and cons u decide what u want....

I had the same problem but it was my fault, and it maybe yours also, this is how it happened i had my OX+ in the small pocket above my bigger front pocket of my jeans, it rubbed on my shirt and for only that day there's a clear things on the front of the camera it gives the greenish reflection, it was white afterwards, checked around online said to try toothpaste windX it worked but i had to pull down the phone sense water had soaked behind the camera, OX+ is easy to open no screws love it...but my camera if even more clearer. link me Fb daniel toppin if you need help.

hey , i bought this phone 6 months ago and i was always really happy with it since 3 weeks ago when i had a problem with the power botton. seemed that the power botton was locked on and the phone was continuously restarting. i sent it to htc warranty and after a few days they reply me that the phone has a liquid damage and they have to replace everything inside and the cost of the reparation is charged to ( 210 pound ) . obviously i declined and i asked it back ( 30 pound charged to me for shipping ) , when i get it home i open it with my basic knowledge and a video on how to open it and i found out that was a pin out place, i put it back and the phone restarted normaly . !!!!shame to htc and to how repair the phones for them (regenersis) !!!!! i'm woundering how many people like me have they charged for nothing!!!

Have two. Worst phones I have ever owned. Poor battery life, camera not as good as the adverts suggested, one stuck in airplane mode (research on the web and see how many people complain about HTC's for this) making the phone useless. Sent for repair and told needs new screen when it had one 3 weeks earlier. HTC then say water damaged which is rubbish. Both going in the bin end of contract and believe me I mean the bin! Never wanted to be a lemming and join the apple brigade but looks like the only option. Had Nokia's before and always been please. They were intuitive not like the HTC.

Clearly HTC X+ is the better choice. Why not samsung s3, simply because their hardware quality is not upto the mark and nothing can beat HTC beats speaker and Sense 5 UI. Nexus has many limitations, not removable bettery and no SD card slot. It comes with 8 gb and 16 gb storage, not to mention usable memory is lower.

I'm using the HTC One X+ with the HC V701 case (both white by the way) and it both looks and feels awesome! :))) The case fits perfectly ;) However, I would recommend getting the black coloured version of the case because although the white looks gorgeous it easily gets dirty :/ I wouldn't know where you would be able to purchase it i'm afraid... I got mine at a HTC shop in Malaysia. Although the HC V701 is really rather pricey, in my opinion it's by far the best looking case for the One X+ while offering quite good protection too :)

I own an HTC One X plus, I must say that I'm very disappointed. first of all the phone takes forever to charge, the battery heat up very quickly, the Tegra 3 processor I must say is crap and it drains the battery incredibly fast. I'm hoping that the sense 5 update would make this phone much much better because I like it but I hate these problems. if it doesn't I'm getting rid of it and going back to Samsung.

original would have an OS on it and would allow you to do mostly everything, but you can`t change system settings etc like CPU speed can`t remove certain software etc etc , where as if it was rooted would mean you could install whatever your liked on it change cpu speeds etc basically a phone which is rooted allows you to have administrator rights where as unrooted doesn`t, as long as you know what your doing having your phone rooted is`nt a bad thing, gives you more control, but then again can cause problems again if you don`t know what your doing . I bought an HTC One X+ after my Galaxy SIII died a sudden, inexplicable and expensive death. I am not all that impressed with it. It overheats easily. A good ten degrees centigrade over the S3, and the body gets very warm to touch. The battery also drains very quickly, which I think is related. I almost always use over 100% battery capacity every day. Some days over 300%... It spends a lot of time on charge. That said, at least it hasn't burnt out like the S3. The default camera doesn't take very good pictures. Although better pictures can be achieved with third party apps, the default camera software cannot be changed (at least not for the address book). Looking at the camera comparison test on this site, is seems the camera hardware is not very good to begin with. Generally, the interface is not that great. For example, selecting a live wallpaper is from a rotating menu, the task manager is like a rack of cards and has no option to kill all apps. The unlock screens can only have a black background. It is a nice looking phone and capable enough. I just find its short-comings frustrating.

Keep your brightness to minimum.. you will still have great clarity.. now remove accounts in auto sync which is not necessary.. u can always sync when u open up the app. Dont keep the mobile data or wifi on while not using.. this will serve u better than anyother app on market.. HTC One X+ is amazing it can play 1080p videos without any lag but you have to use diceplayer application the stock application is not working for 720p or 1080p videos. and it have very less compared to galaxy s3 or s4, and extremely rich experience while playing games. and i had plated dh4 game continuously 6 hs without any worries and still it has 20% charging is remaining. and the phone is not too much heating. my choice is HTC One X+ and memory 64GB is awesome.

note 2 is definitely a no becuase note 3 will be available in a few months (unless you want to buy 2 now and then change after 2-3 months) nexus 4 is definitely not an option. 16gb with no memory card slot??? with the size of the apps nowadays and the pictures and music that you will be putting on your phone 16gb will not be enough (well thats for me). minus the software and pre-installed things that will eat up the 16gb storage. i cant imagine myself owning a phone with only 16gb with no memory card. one x+ is not a good option as well. the phone is old and there are newer options that is better. if what you like is its looks, just get one x. its almost the same. the battery of x+ altho bigger is just slightly better than one x after updating. the performance is pretty much the same as well although one x+ is slightly faster. if you're not very good at phones, you wont notice the difference. i can say this because i have friends owning each. xperia z is one of the best looking phones out there. it also sounds great. BUT the screen is baaaaaad... every manufacturer is working hard with their screens and then sony is like allergic to innovation. id buy a samsung or htc before id consider sony. but these are just personal preferences. a lot of people like sony and maybe u are one of them. galaxy s4 has the advantage on almost all aspects. but it is also an ugly phone. samsung doesnt care about looks and compensates it with performance. a lot of people say that this phone lags but i've never experienced lags on my gf's s4. maybe those were the ones bought right after it was released. if you buy a new phone right after release, tendency is it will have problems. and buying a phone on contract from a network operator usually has lots of problems as well because they edit/add the softwares. when i do buy phones, i buy it 1-2 months later on htc shop or samsung shop or sony shop whatsoever. i now own an htc butterfly and i am very happy with it. it looks great, sounds great, has a memory card slot (which i really need because i dont like to keep on transferring stuffs. cloud storage is not for me and would never be. i also dont want to rely on internal storage. i can reset the phone whenever i want without the hassle of transferring all the stuffs again. internal storage for me is just for apps.)

I like having top notch handset, and no other phone scored in overall evaluation for me more than x+. Elegent design & style, high quality material and great hand feel, great display with excellent view angles. My most concern was battery (I had moto maxx before this), and after using I tell it is also fine, I pass full day easily with data on all the time. For comparison, with razr maxx I used to end muly day with %20 remaining and need to charge daily, so its almost same result. I would still.prefere this over htc One, I prefere capacitive buttons not consuming display area, and one x+ is even more style than the newer One.

Does it heat up near the camera while the phone is on standby? Did your phone die then you plugged it in and there was a flashing red LED/Light IF SO FOLLOW THIS 1. Charge the device for at least 10 minutes 2. With the device truly OFF (NOT ON STANDBY) , push in and hold volume up and volume down AND power button And HOLD for 2 minutes and let go once 2 Minutes has passed. Doing this will calibrate the Circuit within the battery charging system. Hope this will help

Brought this phone 3 days back and i must say that this phone is the best.No comparison with any other phone.Processor is fast, camera is awesome, look wise the best. Feel good to hold this phone gives prefect grip. Some minor issues i found may i.e I cant find any way to disable the dictionary option in the keyboard and i also find that the screen is little less brighter then HTC ONE X. Ive been using HTC one x+ for about 10 days now. I bought an at&t verson but the phone has been unlocked prior to me buying it. I instaled Nova IU, not because I didn't like sense but because at&t is hiding some of the features that come preinstaled with the phone, such as Polaris office. Overall so far the phone is running smoothy, with unnoticable signs of lag. I'm a bit converned about ram memory since it will always showing it is in 100' s of mb free, out of 980 mb. Battery life could be better, but with very moderate use it could probably last u 10-12 hrs. Also heating can be an issue, but I'm not too big on gaming so I don't have that kind of an issue. I have 2 questions that I am trying to find the answer for. First is if at&t version will support network conection from other carriers in Europe, and second is if I should root and instal a costum 4.2 Rom, and if it secure to do that on at&t version of the one x+. If you have any questions please ask, and if somebody can explain to me these 2 questions that I have I would appreciate it.

Hello good people, I am from India and I recently got 1X+ its a super good phone but i need assistance. My phone is having issue and i am not sure whether its problem with my piece or a common issue. Problem: When i open google maps and connect to wifi network and/or mobile network, my approximate location should be shown on map but it is not shown. It says " your current location unavaiable " . I have selected " get location from mobile/wifi networks" from the location settings menu. I have tried with other android phones such as note 2 and HTC EVO 3d, samsung google nexus and they are able to display my approximate location in google maps when i am just connected to mobile and/or wifi network. vikas55 the HTC one X+ is the fastest phone of 2012, with the most preinstalled memory, it has 64gb of memory to be used for all your videos, games and apps, don't worry about the ram, its more than enough, the phone never uses more than 750mb and that's when your playing a really intensive game. Best Phone of 2012 HTC ONE X+, the only thing that is on the same level is the samsung galaxy note 2 but that's a phablet and is too big for a lot of people to use with one hand.

Yes this is the normal ram usage around 740-756mb. But if you prefer, you can instal apps killer application as what i'm doing.

X+ doesn't have the micro sd slot because it already has a 64gb internal storage. It's not really a problem for most ppl coz 64gb is more than enough. It's really up to you if 64gb is more than enough for u. :)

Great Phone! Battery life is excellent. I can comfortably get through 2 days without charging with solid usage (I watch movies on my commute, music ect.). The 64GB is awesome for loading up a season of 720p episodes. No lag or stutter when using, very smooth all the time. Only faults, no LTE - no big loss for me. Also I am not a fan of the HTC Sync software that tries to install on your PC. After a little tweaking I have it all as a simple external storage device and drag n drop all my files like any other device. Very underrated Phone.

I'm using 2 phones, one with memory card slot ( Galaxy Note ) and htc One X+ without, and to be honest with you not much differnce in phone performance only problem will be that if you are having a phone without a memory card slot you are limited to the amount of memory which is built with the phone for example htc One X+ have 64GB and you are not able to expand it. So buy whatever your needs are.

I bought this phone about a month ago and in general I love it. I've been using apple products for years now and love the amount of things you can change and customize. It is very fast on 4g. It rarely lags, and the screen is awesome. On the other hand I do have a few complaints. first, the battery life is horrible. I get about 6 hours of moderate use on a charge, if it's connected to WiFi or using the GPS it is appalling. Secondly the keyboard (even after calibrating it) does not work nearly as well as the apple keyboard. Also the autocorrect feature isn't nearly as great. The drag texting doesn't seem to work as well at times, it will miss spots you trace from time to time. And lastly almost no one makes screen protectors or nice cases for it. Overall it's a good phone, but theres room for improvment.

I have recently purchased this phone and trust me its amazing. Looking at the current pricing of S3 it is a costly buy , but then the bang for the buck is way high. Plus you get the amazing built quality and the Sense UI. S3 may be quicker but we all know we get bored of the interface on the Samsungs quite soon. I've been using HTC One X+ for about a week now and it's a fantastic phone, I must say. Battery life could be better. Standby time is surprisingly great though. Well it all ultimately depends on your usage and for me it can typically last a day with moderate use and I think it's pretty standard and acceptable in today's high end smartphones. To all htc one x+ owners.. If you really want to save battery life, switch your network mode to GSM if your not using 3G network. You can save up to 25% battery life in standby mode. Right now I don't have to worry if my screen brightness is 75% as long as during standby mode I can save battery.

only one problem whenever i enable flash at nights i get a green images. when i use no flash its perfect. any help? my friends one x after jellybean update did the same thing any ideas?

Phone seems to be good on entering the world of phablets turn powersave on and therefore only utilising one core will help battery usage. I am not replying to anyone here in general but I feel the overall build quality leaves a lot to be desired this is the second Htc we have got previous was a desire s appalling battery etc. this phone has been rarely used and mars quiet easily Problem is polycarbonate body transfers at base under speaker are wearing off already and the film on the polycarbonate is beginning to flake on the corners not what you expect from a �600 smartphone gripe finished but this will be the last Htc bought in this house

i compare screen brightness after putting to max. between this and htc one x which i own already unfortunately its dimmer i dont know why. the htc one have a very bright screen but the one x + is dim i dont like it

I got this phone couple weeks ago..i find it awesome with regards to its specs, but the problem is it ate too much battery when i play subway surfer and downloading applications, it only stands for four to five hours. and also it heats up like a laptop.. is it normal? kindly response to my query. tnx in advance.

On moderate use about a day and a half with power saver on and some mobile network internet usage. Actually backup depends upon how much you use your phone.

what network are you on? GSM or 3G? 3G will eat up your battery more, i'm not always online so I only switch to 3G when I go online using my mobile data, i've been able to make my battery last for two days of light to moderate usage i used these tips mainly

Hi sam.. I also own an HTC one x+. My phone brightness is set at 75%. Power saver is off, wifi and mobile data. My normal used is texting and some calls. My phone can reach up to two days. Charging time is only 2 hours. Maybe that depends on how you used your phone like playing games on longer hours..

Hi everyone.. I'm a new user of htc one x+. my device is 5 days old. My device is taking 3 hours to charge from 10% to 100% and battery is draining in about 8 to 10 hours, I'm applying all necessary things to get battery up like(power saver ON, turnig off wifi and mobile data when not in use, sleep time 30 seconds, app killer etc etc) even though i'm just getting 7 to 8 hours of backup.. Its very annoying for me and the thing im very much worried about is it's charging time.. IS IT NORMAL WITH ALL USERS?? ORELSE I'M ONLY FACING THIS PROBLEM.. PLEASE reply all htc onex+ users.. Beside this phone is tooo awesome.

This is normal RAM usage. That doesnt mean that all that RAM is used it means that RAM is cached by Android , so if you do something on device, response is faster because some part of RAM is cached. Same applies on Linux PC's as well.

Few of my friends have Samsung Galaxy S3 and they all complain on lag which they get when you try to click on phone or contacts icon . Also one of them told me that lag came after he installed latest update from Samsung for his device. So problem must be software related , some sort of bug of TouchWiz. I am using my One X+ for 3rd week now and I can tell you that Sense UI 4.0 is super fast and I NEVER noticed any lag at all .
