did you dowload the right one?it is around 3mb . if yes , then install it and connect your phone to pc for first time u get . . . drivers not successfully installed . now go to control panel ,open hardware and sound, divice manager. find your divce and right click on it and click update driver .now browse to your folder where u have extracted ur pc suite and click ok. now ur drivers will be installed.u can use your phone after this with your pc suit. remember to select com port in your phone and proper settings in pc suit to use as modem....005.

Using this mobile last 2 months, a bit bulky feel in hand also a slim feel, camera quality is not at all up to the marks of 3.2 mp, takes nearly black and white photos, front camera is good for video calling, but huwaei owner video will not of good quality, 512 mb ram so u can play large files e.g. movie file I played 1.7 gb with instant play. it is dual sim but u have to choose every time sim 1 or sim 2 this could be irritating as spice gives direct buttons on keypad. only one sim is 3g active. for talking only the battery backup is extremely good, last 3-4 days if charged full. charging takes nearly 3 hrs. Most imp feature wifi is very good and connects instantly to 8 devices, off course internet speed will slow down significantly and also mobile battery will last nearly three hrs. Key pad is flat and difficult to operate and typing sms, headset is average and not good for listening music. Finding pc suite is a pain on web. no holiday or festival dates are given on calendar. java apps running good but hangs several times. screen is big enough and bright which is big plus. overall ok phone. I give 7/10.

Haven't bought this yet. A 3G USB modem would cost 1700, this is only 3000. Operators like Tata Docomo have clearly said they will not allow USB modems on their network. it is a basic phone .. with features like wifi with hotspot .. 3g video calling . high speed browsing . os loaded seems like other ordinary china mobiles. ergonomics is bad , looks clearly shows it a china mobile , some problem while browsing switches off while downloading .. no shortcut key .. audio and video players are very very basic .. not worth for buying at Rs 4000/

After 2 days of usage Pros : 1) good sound quality (not with provided headset try other) 2) Great Browsing speed (opera ucbrowser with wifi) 3) Java app can be minimized and almost all work 4) fast interface 5) wifi and wifi hotspot works perfectly 6) good but not great battery life 7) phone is very lite compare to the size 8) All setting are very easy specially wifi Cons: 1)Cheap plastic body ( although expected ) 2)keypad not user-friendly to use for long time 3)default apps cannot be minimized and cannot run along with other apps 4)only one sim support 3g 5)Default Audio and video player are very basic 6)no password protection in file manager (the only think I miss from my previous Samsung java mobile) 7)camera bellow average (but works as webcam big +) Verdict: Value for money , but seeing the hardware I don't think it will last long , so if u want to wait little bit longer before going to the fancy ones (Android), try it with no harm.

Pros: Phone display is good. WiFi hotspot works instantly. Good battery. Good Audio. Cons: Since USB drivers are not provided you can't connect the COM port (although it shows the option when USB cable is connected). I got the written confirmation from Huawei customer support that U5510 doesn't have USB modem or USB tethering functionality. Back camera is not so good, I doubt if it has even 2.0 megapixel whereas 3.2 megapixel is printed on the back. Phone lacks basic feature of importing contacts from any kind of file. Even blue tooth transfer is one-by-one and not in one go. So they have provided for manual entry of 1000 contacts....testing patience. There is a provision for creating shortcuts through Menu->Settings->phone settings->shortcuts but could not figure out how to use them. Forget software CD for PC sync and drivers, phone doesn't come with a proper user guide. Shortcut key (top right) and end-key squeaking from day one. Phone switches off automatically (with battery fully charged) in power-save mode while WiFi hot spot is active. Auto Power-on/off is useless as when phone auto-switches on it waits for your sim selection. When you are attending call on one sim you don't get call waiting tone for call on second sim. The caller gets "not reachable" message. Alarm rang everyday even if it was set for Sat and Sunday. FM/audio paused when Apps under internet services started. Could not add more SMS templates to the existing ones provided.

Yes, absolutely, it supports youtube video streaming and it also supports mp4 video streaming from other sites. It also has advanced camera features like face recognition and smile shutter but the only cons is that it doesn't have a flash.

I got this handset recently. However, when i am trying to browse from airtel gprs or tata docomo internet, opera 10.1 (which is preinstalled on this handset) is always showing message as "The certificate was revoked" and it stucks there. I am really fed up with this problem. Can someone let me know the solution to this problem. Also, i am not able to install any java applications. Before downloading java apps, it is showing error "Cannot operate network/disk" and closes the download process. now i got dizzy on choosing an good android bcoz of its OS fragmentation liki 2.2, 2.3.3, 2.3.4 , 3.0 etc they wil go like tail. i think this mobile is simple and have good connectivity features. is its keypad like of nokia 2700, ? battery last for 3 days?

I got it..It is a nice phone ..yes we can watch you tube.. ui is good ..camera quality is good..keypad is ok .. pros dual sim 3g and 2g great + video calling over 3g great + wifi enabled wifi router great+ cons no touch key pad is little bit twiki(but its ok to use with those great +)

very good attempt by huawei india. most people have this specification of mobile to own. although what is the JSR specification? can we see you tube videos? audio streaming like RadioBee ? camera quality? image editing? UI navigation ease? keypad ease of use?
