the phone does all the stuff and more i know, but sometimes it can be annoying. the touch screen for example wont calibrate, sometimes it shuts down and reboots at its own accord and the zoom on the camera has broken completely. otherwise a good phone.

best phone i have used after NOKIA 6230, the wap/internet applications are by far the best, although i havent used the black berry internet, i could equate it to a black berry. the phone is good, but the draw back is the use of the touch screen where it becomes a problem when you go back to non-touch screen phone, functions perfectly as a modem without any problem, i was lucky to be the few using u7510 in uganda and luckily i bought it at a discounted price.

This is due to the later firmware. I have had 2 of these (broke the first) and this issue did not appear on the first (or my Fiancée's) but does on the replacement (1 year on)

this is the exact freaking problem, i had, i would be in hte middle of a text, i go to numbers, i go back to letters, and the space bar is changed to www. and then i had to close the text, and start all over, and then i hav to write the number insted of 5 i would say five, and then i would spend 1 extra text writing like 2 letter, I haven't seen a fricking shambles in my life, and then the phone would just randomly turn off... dunno why and when i turned it on once, the screen was half white, I WAS LIKE WHAT A FLIPPING SHAMBLE

Just input any digits. then do the same on the recieving phone. Its just so that ur sure u sent it to the right person coz they'll put in the correct digits. After sending, u can forget about those digits.

ok, i fetched here and here to get a solution...i gues finally i have hd reahced the right place.cuz, those people sitin with their buns on their office chairs r just like dolls kept on showcase.cuz when i went for the assistance for conecting gprs and satellite and other features given in tht mobile, they just luked like an alien at my mobile.i duno if they duno about the mobile and y the hell government sell it!and also not able to give proper customer service and enable the features! stil my gprs is not working since i bought 5 months ago...and the satellite n gmap nothing is working.its just in my table drawer for months n off status.the most important thing is cannot i use the mobile with other gsm like airtel, v-con?cuz i'm not satisfied with the bsnl features sometimes...help me plz. my id is [email protected]. i'm not pretty sure i can come back to see the reply for my quest cuz i duno how to come back...so left my mail id.and my mail id completely comes in small leters.xoecting a help.ty.

Re the phone lock,go to settings,phone settings,go down to auto key pad lock,switch to off mode,select,then when you would like to lock phone manually just press and hold on/off button on top of phone(nxt to charge port)for less than a second,a padlock icon should appear on the screen,just touch and hold to opperate again.Repeat at will,Stevie D.

I bought this phone as it looked like a good budget phone...HOWEVER when in text mode you start to type your text in eng mode and then if you swith to number or symbol mode then back to eng the space bar disappears and is replaced with a www. button making it impossible to finish the text and having to start again!! ALSO when the phone starts to ring it is very quiet and increases volume as it rings. By the time it's loud enough to hrear though the caller has gone through to answer machine and it's too late!! AVOID THIS PHONE!!

Its a cool phone but the only few problems am finding with it are the fact that sometimes the screen isnt so sensitive and i wish it had come with a sensor stick or something coz its very tricky typing with the fingers yet the letters are so close together on the screen thirdly the key lock should have been given an option of being manual so that one could have had the chance to lock it whenever they needed not to wait for it to be done automatically.

I think it's to do with the memory. It states that it has 100mb, but when i checked after buying the phone it said I only had 8mb!! available. This in turn makes scanning through your pictures, slow and prone to error messages. I think some of the software pre loaded (google maps etc) use up all the space. A Micro SD card up to 8gb is recommended.

One thing I find with the texting is when I change the language, say to German, I can change it back easily enough, but when I next come to text, if I press the numbers tab or symbols tab the language changes itself to German. Before this started happening, if you pressed the numbers of symbols tab when you go back to the letters tab the A/a button, space button and enter button have changed to www., @, and .com. :S:S:S:S:S

If the phone is saying emergency call only, try pulling the battery and SIM card out. Otherwise it'll be an issue with the SIM card itself and will have to be replaced.

i have been using the phone(u7510)for 2 months now,it is an excelent phone for the money. i find the camra is very poor indoors,and not that good outdoors. the touch screen is quite responsive,but at times not so good. overall,you get a little more than you pay for,for the price,i give it 9 out of 10

Try getting a battary replaced. No shops supply the battery and even customer services do not have it in stock. Also very poor customer services if you have a problem with it.

try gamemobile they have a few games for it. if ur on the 3 network they have a few in 3 store as well. google gamemobile and u will see what they have. just reg and tell them what phone u have and they will give u a list of games that should work with it. but not all will work. i got a game from them for a diff phone that didnt work. they also give u points to get games free when u have enough. usually u get 1 free game for every 3 u buy. But u dont have to buy them all at the same time. U could buy 1 a month and still get the free 1 when u get the 3rd game.

Anyway, yes the phone, for the features and spec that it does have, does represent amazing value for money. I know most people will not be expecting an os with the features, fluidity and general quality of say android or apple. One thing I did notice last night messing around with the device is that the os slows down alot depending and what software you are using. For example the contacts book and file browser are very slow and unresponsive, other features however such as Opera browser runs very fast. A quick question, does anyone know where to download games for this device? I will be giving this phone to my son in a couple of weeks ( when I recv my new galaxy s :) ) and would like a few games for him to play around with ( when he goes to school etc...!!! ). I've downloaded a few with the correct resolution but the touchscreen doesnt work and also due to the device not having physical soft keys, many games can't get past the first menu to enter the game menu ( if that makes sense ).

This phone is a poor man's HTC desire I guess. But apart from the criticism, it represents excellent value for money. Unlike ZTE, it has a better build quality, the media player is capable of playing decent video clips, also trhe supplied earphones are good and pump out decent music, bass included! The build quality is first rate, wish my Galaxy S had the same price to build quality ratio!

The speed depends on where u use it and time of day. I usually only use it at night. as not many ppl use the net at night its why its so fast for me. my sony ericsson k530i on 3 is very very slow. But my 8yr old ZTE on 3 is also fast. Also the k530i battery dies after half an hr. i havent charged this phone for 3 days and i use it online a lot maybe 5 to 6 hrs day. Ive read loads of reviews for other phones before i got this 1 as it had better reviews than the others. All the new sony phones have really bad reviews as do the nokias. But then nokia has always made bad phones. Ive had nokias so has most of my family and friends. the speaker goes after a month or 2. my niece and nephew didnt have theirs for a day before their nokias packed up. even the replacements didnt last more than a week. But as most networks put their own software on the phones they sell it makes a big diff on how they work. I had an LG viewty unlocked from new. on 3 it worked fine but only half the things worked on o2 and vodaphone. some networks block some features on a phone. A keypad comes up when using opera mini 5.2 but not on older versions of mini. But the keys r way to close to use even with a stylus. Opera mini doesnt work very well on this phone at the mo cause its the generic version of mini. Most of the time all the links on a web page r highlighted at the same time making it impossible to click the link u want. But as opera say mini is desighned to work best on RJ45 phones which is what this phone is not a smart phone mini should work but dont. Plus the built in browser is 100% faster than opera. Ive paid a lot more for a phone with less features and a lot slower. Its unusual for 3 not to have 2 cams though. 3 was setup for vid calls but cant use this phone for that due to a lack of cam on the front. U can make a vid call however if u use a mirror lol. thats what i do. just tried it by ringing my old phone. If u point the cam at the mirror the person ur ringing will see u that way lol.

I've purchased this phone this morning from Argos in the uk. The handset ( from argos at least ) doesn't have a secondary camera. Also the phone runs pretty slow, but for £29.99 I can't really complain. I won't be using the phone for long as will be used for emergencies etc..... but after playing with the device for an hour I'd wished I'd purchased a basic nokia or se as whilst on paper this phone has ok specs for the price, in reality most of the features you wouldnt use as it is too painfully slow.

my daughter was playing with my phone (i know, i know) and when i took it off her, there was a symbol of a little headset at the top of the screen. now when i am recieving a call, i can answer but not hear anything, i have to press handsfree, same if i make a call. there is no headset attached. i have read through the book several times, and just played around with settings but cant find how to turn this off. any ideas?

Ive had mine on 3 for a week. its very fast. its faster than my broadband. ive been looking at reviews for other phones before i got this 1. nearly all the other phones have really bad reviews. The only prob i have is holding it cause of the shape. But after trying the vivaz this phone is good compared to that.

Ive found the qwerty keypad. its only used in opera mini. its totally usless though. its very hard to use cause the keys r to small even with a stylus. Also mine is just as bad on this phone as other phones. its painfully slow and highlights all links on a page at the same the same time making it impossible to use the links. the OS for those that want to know is brew. its what they use on samsung phones. Huawei is a well known brand but have only just started putting their name on the phones. they usually make modems and routers but also make phones for nokia sony samsung and other big brands but use their brand names not their own. nearly every pc modem and router is made by Huawei but r branded with a diff name. Depending on the phone network that the phone is on depends on if u have a radio or not. the 3 version doesnt have radio but the T.mobile tap version in the USA does. There r a lot of games for it but as i found out when i tried to play 1 they dont always work. I treid to play 1 last night. it downloaded ok but it only came up as txt file not the game itself. on some apps u have to use touch and the scroll buttons with the ok button to use them. its a J2ME phone not smartphone as some have mentioned on here. opera mini hasnt got a compatible version for it so u have to use the generic vesrion which doesnt work that well. this phone is also known as the samsung genio as Huawei made it for samsung but then put their own name on it but made a few minor changes. the browser is very fast when it works. i timed it and checked the speed comparison with my pc. its a lot faster than BT home hub. but its let down by 3s unreliable server. I was going to get the sony ericsson vivaz but after all the very bad reviews i got this phone instead. so far its the best phone ive had for a long time. sony used to make the best phones but latley all their phones r getting bad reviews. I wont touch nokia cause they have always been really crap. I opened my pc and several old phones and found a lot of Huawei chips in them so i know their a big company. Its about time they started branding their own stuff instead of making stuff for others. The BT home hub is Huawei as is most of the mobile broadband dongles.

to turn up the volume go into settings. then phone settings sound. then just tap the the bit round the centre button to increase or decrease the volume. right for louder left for quieter. its also the navigation keys for scolling up and down on websites. U can also adjust the volume using the buttons on the right side of the phone near the battery meter. Ive only had the phone 12hrs and already worked that out by reading the manual.

r u trying to use skype? u need a sub for that. Or it could be the sim hasnt been activated. best thing to do is go to the shop u got it from and ask them to look at it. well thats if its a shop that sells phones lol. if its like argos they wont be able to help.

just got the phone today. so far its a great phone. i use a cottonbud to input txt cause its easier and doesnt scratch the sreen like a stylus would. had that prob with my last touchscreen. the specs om most sites say it has a radio but there isnt one that i can find. there r 117 games on the 3store for it so thats not to bad. the volume can be adjusted easy. its louder than my sony ericsson k530i. its very fast online. the manual doesnt really tell u how to use the phone very well. I looked through to find out how to use the radio but it doesnt say anything about having a radio. i was running a power hungry app for 8hrs before the battery gave out. the k530i only lasted 30 mins with the same app. the phone looks really good. black with chrome trim. but the shape makes it hard to hold so expect to drop it a lot. its not a smart phone like some ppl have said on here. its just a normal phone with touchscreen. the os will be what the phone network has installed. so it will work diff on diff networks. the full price on 3 pay as u go is £125. but if u get £10 topup when u buy it its only £49.99. Ive had more expensive phones that did less. it lacks a flash for the camera so its hard to use indoors. the charger/usb lead is way to short, so have to leave it on the floor next to the socket or plug it into a pc usb socket and charge it that way.

it's a good phone, i have one and i'm 13. only thing is you cannot turn the text mode to landscape so if that's what you want then don't get it i did this and im stuck with it till christmas :) hope this helped

Hi, I dont know if you managed to work it out yet. I have put in a 1gb memory in mine and it is working okay. If you go into My Files in the main menu and select the memory card tab, scroll down to the last option and it should say memory card, select that and it should display your memory card folders/files. HOpe this helps.

I'm having a lot of problems putting in the names with numbers. Go into add new contact and if I put the name in and save it, it won't let me enter the phone number with it. I've tried every permutation - just won't work. I can either save a number without a name, or a name without a number. Doh! what am I doing wrong??

I was in need of a replacement handset within a limited budget. There were a few choices but on a whim went for the U7510. I didn't expect much looking around the shop at the prices of other phones. But this has actually blown all my expectations. For £40 I really couldn't have got a better handset. It has everything I need and more. I'd never heard of the manufacturer and that was a worry for me but my fears were unfounded. It really is a quality looking and feeling phone. If you can find a better new phone, with this many features, for this price I'll eat the thing.

bad points - the instructions are a bit useless and the PC software is not easy to use. good points - pretty much everything else, for a low end smartphone its pretty good and i'm very techno-phobic. i managed to work out how everything works, the touch screen seems as good as a DS, the interweb bit works quicker than i expected, i've put in a 2gb SD card and if you put the card in a card reader to load up music then transfer on the phone it works OK. it feels nice to use, seems robust and reasonably made, similar to my old sony ericson K600i and thats lasted years. overall i'd give it 8.5/ 10

bought this phone a week ago from 3 shop for £49.99. i thought i was getting a bargain and treated myself to a 4gb sd card.both were a total waste of money as the music player will not play music from the sd card.or i cant find a way of doing it.i can load the memory card no prob but cant play the files on the phone.also many other probs inc. stylus needed,no radio that i can find,cant block individual contacts from calling u, can only block everyone from calling u. on the plus side it does look quite good and sound quality during calls is good but if u want a phone with a music player dont bother. if u want one without music player do u wanna buy mine?

well, i have the phone and think it is great. i especially LOVE the fact that it has msn for FREE!!! i don't know where you got the idea that finding contacts to dial was hard, you just gon into the contact list, scroll down and press the "dial" button. and, when people are saying it's hard to hear people when you are calling them, i don't know where people keep getting this idea from, because i actually had to turn the volume down while talking to my firend today, because it was too load. on the whole, i think this is a brilliant phone, and if you get it on special offer with 3 for £10 a month it is an excellent bargain.

I have had the phone 3 Months and now find the text will not work. I type my text go to options try to select from the contacts list, then all hell lets loose. The red bar goes up and down passing previous contacts jumping around. I have called 3 now i have to go to town give them 30 pounds for a rental phone while i loose mine for repair for a week. The HU7519 is a great phone for novice touchscreen users. The controls are simple enough to figure out while just poking around. The storage capacity with the extended external memory is great. However, unlike most phones, you must use the T-Mobile Tap's software that is included on the phone to access all of the internal files both on the phone and memory card. For some files, renaming becomes a necessity because the phone will not take long file names, to the great displeasure of music lovers. The speaker and volume of this phone are truly underrated as the volume is internally limited to level 6. The speaker is just strong enough to listen to voice calls and barely capable of music. One of the major drawbacks for the end-user is the total lack of accessories for this phone. If you break the stock earbuds, try searching the web for them and get only Ebay as even the phone manufacturer does not seem to carry replacements. Call T-Mobile before replacing your bluetooth, as not all bluetooth (esp. stereo bluetooth) are not compatible with the T-Mobile Tap. The Huawei site is of absolutely no use to the end-user of this device as the site carries no contact info for support of mobile devices.

Absolute rubbish.I would have my old nokia back in a flash. No storing new words in dictionary. What a drag!! When on silent- sill clicks when incoming message received!! (That is NOT silent in my book!) No shortcut options to store. Very awkward to locate and call someone from phonebook. Quiet ringtone. Cannot use alarm and have phone on mute. Must switch phone off if you dont want to be woken up by text/call. Just truly awful- stick to a named brand like Nokia is my advice.

no particular problems, just wish it had a stylus, cause even with my small fingers i still miss hit :( also, had a rather strange rectangular mark on my screen, only showing up in certain lights, comes and goes. most definitely not water damage though! i wish it had a radio!!

This is an excellent phone, I really like it. It connects to internet reliably unlike the INQ1 . You can use the centre select button for many selections instead of tapping the screen. You can record your phone conversations. Voice quality is good. You can get to text message entry screen quickly by pressing the side button (next to camera button). Bluetooth works, battery life quite good. I've had phone 2 months and not needed booklet instructions yet. Drawbacks: 1. Ringtones are not loud enough,camera is not great, but still easy to use. 2. You can't add words to dictionary I believe and the text entry does not recognise abbreviated words such as I'll don't we'll etc. You have to use dont wouldnt etc ( which is confusing on words like we'll or I'll ) or type them in with T9 unselected. Switching between numbers, symbols and text is tricky as you can easily touch adjacent buttons instead. But like everything else you get used to it and adjust. On the plus side you can access common phrases which you can edit and insert into texts. 3. No FM radio that I can find. It's back up to �80 at argos now but was brilliant value at �40

You need to check all functions on phone before leaving opinion because you are wrong on both counts. There IS speed dial and you dont need to unlock b4 answering calls. Unlock is easy anyway just touch screen or power button.

I bought mine from Argos for �39.99, it does not have a 2nd camera or radio. I thought it would have a qwerty keyboard but it does not. I have struggled to input new contacts, I have had to tap hard to get to the screens to key in the names, but in all other areas the touch screen has been fine. Overall I like it.

Got it for Xmas. Good touch phone. Good value for �40 from Argos. No Radio as promised. Also seems to be downloading only 100 mails at a time. Because there seems no way of asking it to download only unread messages, when u connect the first time arround it was downloading all of my 2300 messages!!, and ahd to do it 23 times to get to the current message!! How annoying, i would still recommend if u are willing to go through this pain.

Got it on 3 for �15 a month with unlimited (3000 i think) texts, 75 mins, unlimited internet and free 3-to-3 calls. not fantastic phone, but its good fun to use and not really that hard. amazing for the price!

You should pay attention because the specs aren�t correct. It has way more than 56g of weight, it has 2 cameras instead of one, it has skype and MSN integration, it has 256K colors and I�m not really sure about the resolution, so beware of it and possibly other specs that might not be correct.

Sensitivity takes some getting used to and i heard this new company in canada is coming out with it...globalive i think? Not sure if anyone else carries it up north!! Battery life is awesome, only negative is i dont think you can open word documents on it :s Cheers

Excellent phone for the price. Looks and feels better than the photos suggest. It is light - but weighs closer to 100g than the 56g listed in specs.

Have bought this phone via Argos and for �39.99 it's a good deal via the three network. I cannot locate a FM radio ,so i am interested if anyone has. Some site's state it has two cameras i.e for video phoning ,but i can only see one on my phone. Skype works well, but i have found that on occasions the phone logs out of skype and you need to log back in ,this may be a problem with the network in my area. Over all a smart attractive phone which is very light and looks much better than the block standard skype mobiles on the market. Oh yeah the phone i pciked up from Argos does not have the Huawai brand name on it which in my opinion is a bonus. Please note in my area these phones from Argos are very hard to get as they sell out quickly ,probably due to the half price of the 3 shop phone.

have one of this now, mainly because of skype, have a Mda vario, LG viewty, Nokia 5800, etc... Very good quality/price ratio. The phone to have on a budget, versatile, good battery life, all good. Will try to watch movies on it using the sd card and converter. 8\10

If you live within the UK it is available on 3 through Argos at �39.99 Bargain! The similarity to T-mobile pulse, �179 with Android OS,same manufacturer, is astounding. In fact, you get an interface similar to LG Cookie, but of course this is an HSDPA handset, although only seen 3g evident on signal as yet. Camera is very good in reasonable lighting conditions. Screen is not too responsive as say the pulse, but still good.If it had Android OS like pulse, you would hardly notice the difference, except this will play java apps without software. Buy Buy Buy!
