Remove the battery, Simultaneously hold volume(-) button and red hangup button, while still holding those keys, insert the battery and wait for the led to go out, release keys and device will hard reset. AND You can flash it by sd card.Need a sd card 512 mb or less.Fomate the sd crad with fat than copy rom here in sd card.Now insert sd card into phone and power on and when it shows any version than tuch n hold voluim (-) botton.

if you bought it from ebay, maybe it is best to do a hard-reset first. that will also take care of the password. just google on how to do hardreset if you don't know how.

hey paul, the same issue I was faced, The solution is simple, just remove your StorageCard remove battery, insert battery. switch on the phone. It will start normally. after windows start insert Memory card thnks

Hey, Try to do this one simple step I am sure it will help; 1) Open the back cover of your device & remove the battery. 2) Take a key, any key be it a car key or a door room lock key & push the battery contact with that key twice or thrice. This will flush the memory & reset the soft memory it would not be a hard reset and I am sure you device will run normally. Thanks!

i buy jama 201 and there's a problem. i bought it in saudi arabia. and i come home to phil. then when i try to open the phone. it got stuck. the key don't function normally. the only key that working is the OK button at the side and the down button. you have to press the other button to press down. i want to reformat it but i dont know where i can find a OS or how to reformat it. if anyone know how to solve my problem. please kindly send me the solution. here's my e-mail add. I had bought this phone on eBay via Bombay Mall for 7100. It has been 3 weeks and this phone is just fantastic to use with excellent features. I have to say that I just love the feel of it in my hands. The only thing missing from this phone is an FM Radio. A windows mobile and FM radio are very rare to find but it is a good combination. But for this price it is still a bargain Will keep you all posted about this phones performance later.

Hi All, I bought this device today for an amount of Rs. 7100/- only (mumbai). I must tell the device is really light weighted, sleek, good grip on hands and easy to operate, i guess keys are hard, might possible as i use, it will become soft. I must tell, the device is a WOW!! i have installed all google mobile apps (gmail, maps, search etc), nimbuzz, opera mini and call recording software. I have also used the feature of Goolge SYNC and it rocks. Device is not too slow as mentioned by other reviewers (no offense). Sound Quality is not too good and not too bad. Worth Buying.... Highly recommended. Hope this helps to existing and future buyers. Cheers!!

Waste of my Money. My Imate Jama 201 has a radio problem since the day I bought it in August 2008 from Dubai. It doesnt have a good strength signal 90% i have a no signal sign on my phone. I am hardly able to make any calls or send or receive messages. Complete waste of my money I so regret buying this product made & marketed by unprofessionals.

I have an Imate Jama 201. I couldn't access my key pad and it was also locked. Usually to unlock keypad we need to click "unlock" and the "*" keys, but even then I couldn't open in. Any suggestions on how to open it...

Dear Friends Just open Settings and go in Wireless settings. Then click on phone on. try 2 or 3 times. If not open then Try then switch off phone. and start phone after 15 min. May be ur problem solve. Thanking You.

This device looks prety good but video is so poor and screen on full will be not more than one inch. Comparing Nokia N70 is best. Its not user friendly. Its volume on full sound is low. It is ok as a normal phone.

It sucks! i have one and i need to tell this to you: Don't buy it...it's a waste of time! It is so slow reacting to buttons, it freezes all the time and except this, the earpiece works in only one part...not all of it. if you look in the pics you will see that there's a metalic stripe at the headphone. it will fall out or worse, what happened to me.. i got CUT while trying to get a call..!!! TWICE!!! it is a VERY BAD EXPERIECE!!! I'm gonna sell it and buy a NOKIA!
